[Music] okay so we made it to Sarah Gordo uh got a full tour it's dark outside now um we are in uh one of the houses so it's a little two bedroom house light off no you can leave the light on you want say hi hi okay so we're one of the houses now and uh they have electricity right now uh they don't have running water so we're doing a bunch of work to get the water

ready to go maybe another week or two we'll have water um but yeah we got two bedrooms do you want to show them your bedroom let's see white Ste yeah see if I can do this backwards right there I [Music] [Applause] down apparently this whole area used to have tons of trees just the whole hillside's covered in trees uh but they were all cut down to build the town which at one point held about 4,000 people

uh there's not much of that left but if you come over the hillside here there's actually trees which is great you want to try this one yeah this one's definitely locked okay whoa look at all [Music] this of a mine yeah it's one of the buildings yeah I wonder I don't know what they did here look at that so I bet the cable car came into here oh does that go down into the mine maybe it

does I think so looks yeah that people can get into the mine oh that's it yeah the right here this cart thing I think because that little dumb waiter has a track in it and then it would probably come up and connect to this track and then come out and then go around out through those doors oh that's cool mhm I don't know if they got down the mine or here but looks like that's where they

pulled up stuff look see that metal thing that has like a gate on one side that is probably where it goes down yeah and then we stay this far away from that cable runs all the way over to this here it looks like up through the ceiling and and down so this mine was first established in about 1860 and ran until about 1910 or so and uh at one point It produced the majority of the silver

and all kinds of other things for the city of Los Angeles it's not creepy at all [Music] that [Music] wa what do you think I like it [Music] so this bar in here it was actually built uh much later in the 70s or or so they did an absolutely fantastic job building that far so I'm excited for being able to host big meals in here and hanging out like just check out check out this kitchen there's

so much uh that we'll be able to do with it what do you think of the town it's so cool did you look at look at everything up here this is why it's so cool all this super old stuff and this isn't even the best the best place best house that's what I my my tip I got for my snack you you want to see you want to show that what kind of chips did you get

s cream onion yeah is that what you're most excited about yes are you more excited about the chips or the town every single thing everything yes nice every single every single thing we have here and this going to wander over and see if the keys that we have now I can open up the church [Music] here [Music] yes it's not a [Music] TR all right well this building will need quite a bit of work but it's

got some good style and uh all the same glass it look really cool and these big double doors uh pretty great so the water system that we're putting in is going to use these huge tanks here and then initially we'll just truck water up here uh put it in the tanks and it'll gravity feed into each of the houses and then all this material here just got delivered yesterday and uh it's going to be for building

houses around the tanks that'll be really well insulated so they won't freeze in the winter which is important because it gets very cold up here did you lock everything up back to our house oh yeah it's a big spark walk at that yeah are you excited about it you going to get all dusty if you everything against the car what should we wash the car yes [Music]
