How I Create AI Mockups for My Etsy Shop (Step-by-Step Tutorial)

[00:01] can do to help your Etsy listings convert more and potentially get more searchability according to Etsy is to [music] add a product listing video in your actual listing. And this can be complicated to do if maybe you're

[00:14] physical products that you don't have inventory for like print on demand. And with you the new way that [music] I'm getting product videos for my listings and it's so high quality. They look incredible. [music] And all in all,

[00:28] being able to create video content can be a huge thing without having to order tons of samples. And so this way that I'm going to share with you is [music] very valuable and beginner-friendly as well. I've been an Etsy seller since

[00:40] the platform, learning all of the things to help others in their Etsy journey. [music] So if that interests you, I community here on YouTube. All right, so let's get right into the tutorial and I

[00:53] am going to be using Kittl for [music] this because they have an incredible AI generator that makes these videos for us just based off of your plain mock-up photo. And if you're not familiar with Kittl, it is an online design platform

[01:06] like I mentioned. So I will have a link in the description if you would like to They do have a free plan where you can try everything out that I'm about to show you. So here is my artboard on Kittl just to show you. I've started

[01:19] with a blank image here. I'm using the AI generator, I was able to create [music] this mock-up photo just using a prompt and then further create a video [music] of this product. Now as you can see, this video is very high quality. It

[01:31] did not change the mock-up at all and I can easily use this for marketing. I can use this in my Etsy listing and I can even keep creating off of that. So to start this out, you are going to need [music] a blank mock-up photo meaning a

[01:43] mock-up of your product with no background, completely blank just like this one. If you're selling print on demand products, you can grab this from your print on demand supplier. I use Printify and on Printify [music] when

[01:55] bottom left of the screen, there's a download mock-up button. So you can easily download that and then bring it directly back into your Kittl artboard that's what I've done here and then to create this image of a girl here, I have

[02:11] [music] this prompt to make a mock-up of a cropped t-shirt being worn by a woman read the whole thing for you, you can see it and that's how I created the photo. Essentially, [music] to do this, you're going to click on

[02:23] your artboard and hit AI image board. You can see that the [music] video board is right next to it, but to create that first image, that's how you would do that and then give it the prompt. So I can enter the exact same prompt here

[02:35] just to show you and [music] generate and it will start making another version of this actual photo here. Now I do recommend starting out with a photo before you create your video rather than just starting from this artboard here. I

[02:48] videos and I think the AI just kind of grasps it more rather than starting with just [music] a blank background. So that would be a word of advice to go off of. create our video while that's generating. [music] I'm going to select

[03:02] this image here and right at the top, there's add an AI video board. So what's >> [music] >> like everything you need here. You start photo and then later make it into a video. You see how it just created the

[03:16] photo. So it's [music] very cool. Now once you hit this, down here below, it's going to give you a few [music] options. You have your ratio for the video. So if you're using it for short form content or long form content or if you want

[03:30] [music] it for Etsy, I find either of these work, but it is completely up to in. And then here's where you enter again that prompt. Now also if you're just exploring, Kittl has some example [music] things that you can do like try

[03:43] out different stuff, turn around, pouring liquid, so on and so [music] forth. Or you can just enter in your custom prompt. So for this, I'm going to type exactly what I would like to happen in the video. Now [music] I find being

[03:55] more specific is going to benefit you rather than being very vague in [music] this. But we're going to also use a hat. So I'm going to say make a video mock-up So I'm going to say make a video mock-up of a girl taking a cute mirror selfie

[04:10] and showing off her shirt. Okay, now instead of just using this prompt, I'm going to go to this little button here that says enhance prompt and I'm going to let Kittl enhance it with their AI, okay?

[04:24] Because [music] AI understands AI better than we understand AI, right? So if we allow it to actually create this [music] using its own prompt, it does typically turn out better in my experience. You can also

[04:36] of these work great, but what [music] you'll notice is that there's certain credits and speed for the videos. So if you want to try them out, I personally you want to try them out, I personally [music] like using the VO 3.1 fast. The

[04:49] a little bit more expensive than in credits than this one is. You can also down here choose how long you'd like the video to be. If you're creating [music] for Etsy, 4 seconds is fine. However, up

[05:02] depending [music] on the video you're creating. And you can also choose to add necessary for Etsy, but if you were creating for something else, maybe you ahead and hit generate. So once this starts loading for this specific AI

[05:17] model, it takes around a minute and 50 seconds to 2 minutes. This one's going video which is super fast with seeing how good they come out. And while we're [music] time here. I'm just going to zoom over and show you some other

[05:31] examples of videos that I've created starting from this image, [music] added a background using an artboard and then created an image board off of this. Now all I asked this was to make the background move with leaves and light

[05:44] rain and the hat stays still and [music] it did exactly that. And I would probably refine this one a little bit more, but overall, it's a visual for Etsy [music] so it does essentially stop that scroll. Here's a few other examples

[05:56] that's creating [music] for a different type of product. So again, starting with that blank image, creating a cute mock-up for it and then creating the video [music] content off of it. So it's just very interesting and of such a nice

[06:09] visual and to be able [music] to use AI to do this, I find very cool and I think it works perfectly for Etsy listings because it's not anything over the top, [music] video. All right, so check it out, our video's complete. I'm just

[06:21] going to make it a bit larger. So as you can see, it looks pretty real. It looks and showing off the shirt. Nothing in the shirt is moving weird when she puts AI is [music] so incredible. It's taking the exact color of the shirt and the fit

[06:37] of the shirt, everything so smoothly and I just find it [music] so impressive. So like both of these videos can be used on Etsy to showcase the product because not just downloading some random software. I'm using the images and

[06:50] creating [music] the videos off of that. So I just find it very, very impressive and very cool. So now that our videos are completed, we could also keep adding, you know, more images or videos, but for Etsy, you can only use one video

[07:03] per listing. So I can use either one of these for [music] my listing here. So I'm going to do first, this is important, is I'm going to flatten it, >> okay? The reason I'm flattening it, it's still a video, right? But this way I can

[07:17] crop it. So I'm just going to take out any of this black background that shows up because that will show up on your Etsy listing. So make sure that you do that before [music] you export. Make sure you get all of it. Perfect. All

[07:29] video, [music] then I'm going to click quick export. Make sure you export at MP4 as a video. Now here's our Etsy listing and we'll just drag and drop the video [music] directly in and then I'll

[07:42] also add in the pretty beautiful preview. So this is what our listing would have potentially look like. This is my first photo image and then [music] from that exact photo. And this is so

[07:55] valuable because you can keep using this prompt. So like I can take this prompt video on here. So if I want to create another one with this, go ahead, [music] add that same prompt and hit generate and it will generate the another video

[08:09] While that's generating, here's another example, of course, because I'm always [music] you can see I just asked it to have a cat jumping on top of the blanket. I feel like that's like such a cute thing [music] for like home decor.

[08:23] that will make people think of personal [music] experiences and how to do that. So definitely very cool and something you can really experiment with and about this too is once you create your video, you can use that as an asset to

[08:38] advertisements, you can use it for Pinterest, right? So it's not just for your Etsy listing. It's a video that you created [music] on your own and there's you can do this with and really unlimited opportunities [music] because

[08:52] we're using AI. I also want to show you that Kittl has a new update where they have these full [music] Etsy listing flows that you can use as a template to insert your own product and get photos and videos of your Etsy listing very

[09:08] quickly. So here's an example of one for a candle. As you can see, they've pretty much created the whole thing in here, the design of the label of the candle, the mock-up and then once they have the mock-up, they've created all their Etsy

[09:20] listing photos and videos and even a customer review and they've further made Instagram and Pinterest posts as well. So what's so cool about this template is that you can automatically input your product in here and make your own

[09:36] version of all of these. So let me show you quickly. All you have to do is open one of these templates, delete the first image in replace of yours, which I showed you how to get earlier. Then you'll click this and your prompt is

[09:48] already here. So you're literally just going to hit regenerate for all of edit the prompt if you'd like to or you can just regenerate the same way that these are done. And then it will start to make your version using your product

[10:02] of these pre-made prompts from the mock-ups that were here. Okay, and as you can see, these just started popping up. It has made the full versions of these mock-ups, but it's replaced the other candle with my candle, and look

[10:17] how amazing these look. I mean, it's absolutely incredible the way that this turns out. And then right now, I'm also regenerating the videos so that I can use that in my Etsy listing as well. And then there's a template here, so you can

[10:29] just literally swap out the photo for one of these photos after you go ahead and [music] flatten it, but very cool and just something that you can do in just a few minutes. Like that and like so. So, very cool. And once these videos

[10:44] load as well, they're perfect to also upload to your Etsy listing. And then after you've done this, you have a full Etsy listing photos. You just download all these and then upload them directly. Instead of having boring mock-ups, you

[10:56] have beautiful mock-ups, and they were curated already with prompts for you. Kittl has this for a few different products on their site as templates. Let's go ahead and check out one of these videos just to show you. Amazing.

[12:57] prompt option. The prompts always come out better in my opinion. And a hack as well if you're having trouble with your prompts ever is [music] that on Kittl over here, there is a chat bubble option that actually brings you directly into

[13:09] Chat GPT. So, [music] you can give it a photo and ask for it of a similar mock-up prompt to use. Very, very cool and something that I highly recommend if how to get a prompt. You can upload photos in there, ask for a prompt to

[13:23] and then turn it into a video. I'll leave another helpful AI mock-up video below for you, too. But overall, that is how you can create your video mock-ups. Save this, come back to it, try this out today. I think it's so valuable. I only

[13:36] definitely something that I would utilize [music] on your Etsy shop. And try to look into, you know, different ways to showcase your products that are realistic and fun. Like I think the selting for a shirt or sweater or a hat
