AI Summary

Super Gibby demonstrates his complete workflow for converting Twitch VODs into YouTube videos and Shorts. He covers the entire process from downloading highlights using Twitch's Video Producer, editing in Wondershare Filmora, creating thumbnails in Photoshop, to uploading and scheduling content on YouTube.

[00:43]
Downloading Twitch VODs

From the Creator Dashboard, go to Content > Video Producer, select a VOD, and click Highlight to trim and create a highlight clip.

[01:09]
Using Markers During Stream

While streaming, use the Stream Manager to add markers with descriptions (e.g., 'crazy diva bomb') to easily identify key moments for later editing.

[02:27]
Trimming Highlights to 30 Minutes

Trim highlights to about 30 minutes, leaving some leeway for an outro. Name highlights descriptively for easy identification.

[06:08]
Downloading and Renaming Files

Download highlights one at a time; files have random names. Rename them immediately (e.g., 'last game crazy diva bomb') and move to a dedicated folder.

[09:01]
Editing in Wondershare Filmora

Use Filmora as the video editor. Import the highlight, add intro/outro from a template project, and cut out dull moments or silences.

[14:29]
Export Settings

Export with project settings: 60fps, 10,000 Kbps, MP4 format. Match project settings and set quality to High.

[15:38]
Creating Thumbnails in Photoshop

While rendering, create thumbnails using Photoshop templates. Remove background from character images, add text with stroke effect, and match colors to the skin.

[23:02]
Creating Vertical Clips for Shorts

For Shorts, create a vertical video by layering cropped sections: camera, gameplay, health bar, cooldowns, and scoreboard. Mute all but one audio track.

[31:36]
Using Filmora's AI Shorts Generator

Use Filmora's AI to auto-generate Shorts from the vertical clip. It adds subtitles, sound effects, and stickers. Review and fix any text errors.

[36:14]
Uploading and Scheduling

Upload the main video to YouTube Studio, reuse details from previous uploads, schedule 2 days out. Upload Shorts, which auto-convert to shorts format, and schedule them after the main video goes live.

Super Gibby's workflow efficiently transforms Twitch VODs into YouTube content using Twitch's tools, Filmora, and Photoshop, with a focus on consistency and automation for small creators.

[00:00] Yo guys, welcome back to the channel.

[00:02] Um, if you're new here, my name is

[00:04] Gibby. I go by Super Gibby. Uh, today

[00:06] I'm just going to I guess I'm just going

[00:08] to show you my workflow on how I get my

[00:11] videos edited. Um, you guys don't know,

[00:14] I primarily do like gaming content on my

[00:17] YouTube channel, but I dab I do music, I

[00:20] do photography, I toured in bands

[00:23] before. Um, I So, I'm trying to to

[00:26] encompass everything that makes me me in

[00:29] my channel. So, you'll you'll get a lot

[00:31] of gaming content mostly cuz that's what

[00:33] I do mostly on my Twitch streams is

[00:34] game. So, I'm going to show you guys how

[00:35] I edit my gaming videos down from my

[00:39] Twitch VODs to my YouTube. Let's get

[00:41] started. Okay, so first off, um, you

[00:43] want to go over from your your creator

[00:46] dashboard and you're going to go down to

[00:48] content and you're going to click video

[00:50] producer. And then from there, whatever

[00:52] VODs you want. You can already see I

[00:54] have a few that I've already downloaded.

[00:57] I And um I'll show you what I do here in

[00:59] a second. So, you're just going to click

[01:00] the VOD you want and you're going to

[01:02] click highlight. And when you click

[01:04] highlight, this is going to open up

[01:06] here. And on stream, I during stream, I

[01:09] always

[01:11] um mark things while I'm streaming. I'm

[01:14] constantly thinking about, oh, like I

[01:17] play a lot of Overwatch, so you're going

[01:18] to see here in a bit. I think to myself,

[01:20] "Oh, that would be a good game to clip

[01:23] down to make a YouTube video out of."

[01:25] So, usually this is what I do is I'll go

[01:29] to like my markers. Um, I can even show

[01:32] you. So, on my stream manager here,

[01:34] while I'm streaming, I always have this

[01:35] up on one of my side monitors. I have a

[01:37] three monitor setup. So like OBS on

[01:39] this, my main screen on that, and then I

[01:42] have chat in my OBS, but I have this

[01:44] open on my third monitor because then I

[01:47] can add marker with description. So as

[01:49] soon as I like finish a game of

[01:51] Overwatch, I'm like, "Oh, that's a good

[01:53] game." I'll click on it, type uh crazy

[01:57] diva bomb or we can't I can't believe we

[02:01] won that. Just something so I have a

[02:03] mental note of okay, that's what I

[02:05] remember this instead of just a marker

[02:07] with that label. You could just

[02:08] obviously do marker without

[02:10] descriptions, but it just helps me so I

[02:12] know what I want to download.

[02:16] So then like right here there's a marker

[02:17] diva trick shot win. So I'm I usually

[02:21] what I do is I'm going to

[02:25] scroll down. Uh and usually I break this

[02:27] down to about 30 like we'll probably do

[02:29] an hour because um this is uh these are

[02:33] stadium games on Overwatch. So, these

[02:34] just take a little bit longer than

[02:36] usual but

[02:38] okay. So, like I see that this is Okay,

[02:40] so here's the start of it. I know like

[02:42] me typically I already kind of know what

[02:44] my like how I start my YouTube videos

[02:47] and stuff. Um I don't do a lot of

[02:49] editing to my videos

[02:52] because um these like most of my it's

[02:55] just full gameplay mostly. So, like if I

[02:59] um we'll we'll do like something with

[03:00] like like when I do Bleach for example,

[03:02] I didn't do the full

[03:05] game. I did I like I didn't do like the

[03:08] game in all one sitting. So, I like

[03:10] paused it, cut out like the bits that

[03:11] was a break and then came back in, which

[03:13] we'll get into that later. But for now,

[03:15] we're just going to do a quick little

[03:16] edit on this video. So, I'm going to be

[03:19] like, "Okay, cool, cool, cool. So, I'm

[03:21] just looking for when this game is over,

[03:23] which is most likely right here at this

[03:25] mark.

[03:27] So, then I'll trim trim it down to 30

[03:29] minutes.

[03:31] And just

[03:33] be like, okay, game still happening.

[03:36] Game still happening. Oh, there we go.

[03:38] Perfect. So, I'll go a little bit over

[03:42] what I need what I did for it. So, cuz

[03:45] who knows where they're going to be

[03:46] chatting and stuff, but I also have an

[03:48] outro. So, like I need a on my YouTube

[03:50] videos. So, I need like a little bit of

[03:52] leeway room. And then highlight. I'm

[03:55] going to name this highlight uh

[03:58] diva bomb

[04:01] trick shot cuz I know I'll know what

[04:03] that means. And then we're also going to

[04:05] add a new highlight cuz I also had

[04:07] something else trimmed here. So, I had

[04:09] something else marked out here. So

[04:10] again, going to go to 30 minutes

[04:14] and we're just going to I know like this

[04:17] is where roughly where the video ends.

[04:19] So I'm just going like where I I marked

[04:21] it. So the game's over around here

[04:22] somewhere.

[04:24] And then we're just going to

[04:29] find where this game started, which

[04:31] okay, that's round one right there. So

[04:33] we still playing.

[04:36] Still playing.

[04:40] Okay. So, okay. All right. Right here.

[04:43] It looks like it's going to be right

[04:44] here. And then you could watch it back

[04:46] to see, but like I I literally just got

[04:49] off this stream. So, I'm going to

[04:51] probably put it like right here

[04:52] somewhere.

[04:54] And this is um

[04:58] last game

[05:01] div.a

[05:04] last game crazy diva bomb. So I and I

[05:07] know what this means exactly.

[05:12] And then I'm going to publish the

[05:14] highlights.

[05:16] And there's just going to be save and

[05:17] next. And let this one load. Save and

[05:19] next. And then eventually in your video

[05:23] producer here, it's going to pop up

[05:26] the highlights that you just created.

[05:28] Sometimes you have to refresh a few

[05:29] times,

[05:32] but like all these right here are

[05:34] highlights. This is a highlight. Past

[05:37] broadcast. Past broadcast highlight. So

[05:40] like I usually make high I usually like

[05:43] clip out a bunch of highlights that I

[05:45] want to download. So we'll probably just

[05:46] have to refresh again.

[05:49] It's not instantaneously. So sometimes

[05:51] it takes a couple minutes. Okay. So they

[05:54] finally popped up. It like I said it's

[05:57] not instantaneously. It's not too long

[05:59] of a wait. I'm just impatient. So I just

[06:01] always keep refreshing.

[06:05] Um, one thing I always do

[06:08] is when I download them, I download them

[06:10] one at a time,

[06:13] cuz I'll show you in a second. They

[06:16] don't download with the name of the

[06:17] video. The file is like a bunch of

[06:20] random letters and numbers. All right.

[06:22] So, when they download,

[06:24] it downloads in just like a little file

[06:26] like this. Um,

[06:30] you make it a little bigger so you can

[06:31] see.

[06:33] downloads with just a bunch of renames

[06:36] and numbers. And like I said, I want to

[06:38] make sure I know which one I downloaded.

[06:40] So, it says file ready, start download,

[06:42] which it already downloaded. So, you

[06:43] don't have to click that unless you like

[06:45] want to come you delete it and want to

[06:47] come back and download. You can just hit

[06:48] start download. But it's called last

[06:50] game crazy diva bomb. So, I'll just

[06:52] write

[06:56] last game crazy.

[07:00] Oh, let me move myself out of the

[07:03] crazy diva bomb.

[07:07] Okay, save. And then I

[07:10] I I know I can do this another way, but

[07:13] I just don't cuz I'm lazy, I guess. But

[07:17] I cut it from my downloads folder and

[07:19] then I put it in my videos folder. So,

[07:22] I'll just cut it and I'll paste it into

[07:23] my Overwatch folder. Um, these are like

[07:26] different videos that I'm working on or

[07:28] like I have a recording for OBS folder.

[07:31] So when um I record like for example

[07:33] when I'm done recording this video,

[07:34] it'll pop up in here or if I'm recording

[07:36] something from Streamlabs OBS, I'll use

[07:38] that which I never use anymore.

[07:41] Like the last time I used this was in

[07:42] March apparently, which I don't remember

[07:44] what that was. And then this is my

[07:46] YouTube videos folder. We'll get to that

[07:47] in a second. So like I said, we're just

[07:49] going to download both videos really

[07:51] quick. So again, just going to hit

[07:53] download. It's going to say prepping

[07:55] file for download.

[07:57] And then we can just leave these up

[07:58] right here.

[08:00] And like I said, the the download should

[08:02] start automatically. I know there's a

[08:04] way in your brows in your like default

[08:06] whatever browser you use to change where

[08:08] your default download location is. So,

[08:11] ideally, if you wanted to install like a

[08:13] Firefox or something purely for this

[08:16] purpose of downloading your VODs, you

[08:19] could do that and set Firefox downloads

[08:21] to only go into like your videos folder

[08:24] or whatever folder you use to um to

[08:27] store your videos. And like that's

[08:29] already started back up. Like I said, I

[08:32] just I I just use my default browser and

[08:34] just cut and paste it because I use I

[08:36] put it in a separate drive anyways, but

[08:38] I just usually use the default browser

[08:40] to cut and chase it. And then we're just

[08:43] going to look again diva bomb trick

[08:45] shot. So, we're going to rename it. And

[08:46] then I'm also going to show you guys how

[08:48] I do my clips as well.

[08:51] And then we're just going to again cut,

[08:55] paste.

[08:58] All right, we don't need this anymore.

[08:59] These are in here. So, we can close this

[09:01] all up. I use Wondershare Filora for my

[09:05] video editor. That's my video editor of

[09:07] choice. Um, I just think it's very user

[09:12] friendly, very beginner friendly. So, I

[09:15] already have a bunch of projects in

[09:16] here.

[09:18] So, I will probably use this one. I just

[09:22] kind of use the same file, the same

[09:24] projects for different things. Like this

[09:26] one, for example. I know I deleted that

[09:29] video already. So, I could just do that.

[09:32] Delete. Cuz this is my intro outro right

[09:36] here. My outro right here. So, usually

[09:38] what I like to do is like I said, we're

[09:40] going to open back up. My bad. You

[09:42] didn't mean to close that. Um, we're

[09:43] going to open up the Overwatch folder

[09:45] and we'll do div.a bomb trick shot. So,

[09:47] we're going to post that there and I'm

[09:49] going to just click and drag in. So, the

[09:52] main reason I use the same

[09:55] the same projects for different for like

[09:57] different same things is because this is

[09:59] how I want my intro to my outro to

[10:01] always go. So, it's already synced up.

[10:04] So, it's going to be like, oh yeah, just

[10:06] chat and chat and blah blah blah.

[10:08] Whatever we narrow down the last few

[10:09] seconds to

[10:12] >> and then just go straight into my

[10:14] YouTube end card right there.

[10:19] And that is my outro right there. So

[10:21] that's already done. That's already done

[10:24] right there. So we're just gonna And I

[10:27] usually have like a co like a intro

[10:29] video. And by the looks of it, you

[10:31] haven't played Overwatch. So I don't

[10:33] know what to tell you.

[10:34] >> So I'm going to go up a little. No, I

[10:37] said I'll pull it up. I specifically

[10:39] said, "Yeah, Trent, if you also get if

[10:41] you beat me, you could get merch."

[10:44] >> Okay. So just a little backstory. Um me

[10:47] and my mod

[10:49] Kai, he um I have a bet with him right

[10:51] now because we're Overwatch streamers or

[10:53] I'm an Overwatch streamer. He kind of

[10:55] does whatever.

[10:57] I had a bet with him that if he could

[10:58] hit the rank allstar in the game mode

[11:00] stadium before me, I would buy I would

[11:04] send him whatever he wants in merch. And

[11:05] my f and my friend Trent is just trying

[11:07] to like

[11:09] piggyback off that. So, let's see. So,

[11:12] we're just gonna go through. By the

[11:14] looks of it, you haven't played

[11:15] Overwatch, so I don't know what to tell

[11:17] you.

[11:18] >> So,

[11:20] I think I'm going to start the video

[11:21] there. Just

[11:22] >> No, I said I'll pull it up. I

[11:24] specifically said, "Yeah, Trent, if you

[11:26] also get if you beat me, you could get

[11:28] merch.

[11:31] You can't free load off of Ka's work."

[11:36] >> That's Momo. That's who we just played

[11:37] with.

[11:38] >> We work hard for our stuff.

[11:40] >> All right. So, I could see like a few

[11:42] seconds of like awkward silence. So, I'm

[11:43] just going to do that. That's the

[11:46] American dream.

[11:48] I literally did not. I don't know if you

[11:51] can't read or you need context clues.

[11:55] All right. So, another pause right

[11:57] there. So, we'll just boom

[12:00] boom. And then I just clip delete. I'll

[12:04] read you the comment.

[12:06] And then again, just

[12:10] I said, "How about if you hit allstar

[12:12] before me, I'll send you merch as well.

[12:17] All right." Boom.

[12:22] And boom. And so this is a different

[12:25] layout just because this is a uh Twitch

[12:28] stream thing is and I'll probably do

[12:29] another video to show when I'm recording

[12:31] locally off of OBS. So you guys can see

[12:34] that setup as well cuz I do my OBS a

[12:37] little differently than I do on my

[12:39] Twitch for when I when I record instead

[12:41] of live streaming. So we'll do that also

[12:44] down the line. But this is just like

[12:46] >> about the Tik Tok, not the comment. So,

[12:48] this is just me clipping everything out

[12:50] from my t my Twitch VODs and going

[12:54] straight to my video editor, which is

[12:58] So, this is basically what we're doing.

[13:00] Just

[13:00] >> literally your brain thinks

[13:03] >> talking to Kai in that clip. And it

[13:06] looks like I'm already starting to do my

[13:07] build. So, I'm not going to worry too

[13:09] much about

[13:10] like I said, I don't I like just showing

[13:13] full gameplay. So, like like I said,

[13:15] I'll I'll cut out some of the dull

[13:16] parts.

[13:18] But I don't really

[13:21] do a lot editing wise.

[13:23] >> Hold on. And then that's just some

[13:25] redemptions on my Twitch stream.

[13:26] >> That's literally Kai.

[13:28] >> What the [ __ ] is this piece of [ __ ]

[13:31] >> You know, that was actually perfect

[13:32] timing.

[13:34] >> And then just um

[13:36] >> like I said, I don't do too much of like

[13:38] editing because I don't want to cut out

[13:40] of the gameplay.

[13:41] >> Literally was why you calling? And so

[13:44] I'll just kind of go through just All

[13:46] right, cool. So like I got res there. So

[13:48] I'm just going to keep going. And then

[13:49] there's a little bit of a lull there. So

[13:51] I can just cut that out. Like I said,

[13:53] I'm not too worried about them. It's

[13:55] just cut right there. Boom. Boom. You

[13:58] know, Tre hasn't even played Overwatch

[14:00] yet, so I'm not worried.

[14:01] >> And then there looks like there's a

[14:02] little bit of a gap there. So I'll like

[14:04] zoom in just to double check that. But

[14:06] might just be my eyes. So I'll just go

[14:08] in all the way and just

[14:11] >> All right. So yeah, that looks like

[14:12] that's it. What I'm mostly going to do

[14:14] here, this is the main thing I usually

[14:15] do is I want to find a good ending

[14:17] point. Okay. Yeah, we could delete that

[14:19] there. And I think that's the funny part

[14:21] to end on

[14:21] >> and a half hours in and I finally

[14:23] leveled up from where I started

[14:26] >> and then end of video. Perfect. So, when

[14:29] we export it, um I usually do match the

[14:33] project settings and I just change it to

[14:34] high. Um you can change your project

[14:38] settings. I usually do 60 frames per

[14:40] second. Um, is that 100 thou 10,000 KBS?

[14:45] Um MP4.

[14:48] Um, I usually, like I said, you can

[14:50] upgra up edit more. I'm a small I'm a

[14:52] small streamer. I'm a small YouTuber.

[14:55] It's not the end of the world that I'm

[14:56] not editing in 4K. I don't think that's

[14:58] really hurting me. If that is, that's a

[15:01] pretty dumb thing. And then this is

[15:04] div.a bomb

[15:06] frickshot.

[15:08] So, I already have a folder called uh

[15:10] YouTube videos

[15:13] and then I have a finished folder. So,

[15:15] I'm going to do new

[15:17] folder

[15:20] diva bomb

[15:25] trickshot.

[15:27] And that's where we're going to save

[15:29] this one.

[15:31] And it's custom div.a bomb trick shot.

[15:33] Boom. Boom. Boom. Export.

[15:35] Okay. Okay, the video the video finished

[15:38] rendering, but I couldn't record while

[15:40] it was rendering cuz I don't know, my my

[15:43] PC kind of is a little ass. So, I can't

[15:45] handle rendering and recording. So,

[15:48] usually while it's rendering, I start

[15:51] working on my thumbnail in Photoshop.

[15:54] Um, which I already pulled up Photoshop.

[15:57] Um, I have a bunch of different

[16:00] thumbnail templates already saved from

[16:02] different Photoshop files cuz like I

[16:04] said, I just save one file and I just

[16:07] keep going.

[16:09] So, I'm going to use my Overwatch 2

[16:11] stadium.

[16:13] Then, usually what I do is to find my

[16:15] character stuff,

[16:17] I will go to Google and type in whatever

[16:20] like character I was using at the skin,

[16:22] see if I can find a good PMG. So, like

[16:24] Diva K-pop skin. So, I'll go to images,

[16:27] try to find a good picture like, oh,

[16:29] this right here is perfect. So, we're

[16:32] going to copy this. I'm just going to

[16:34] paste it on there. We're going to delete

[16:36] the Lucio image that's on here. And then

[16:39] what I like to do is with this, I'm

[16:41] going to click remove background. And

[16:43] and usually Photoshop does a really good

[16:45] job. And if it doesn't, I have a

[16:47] workaround for it. But that looks

[16:50] perfect. Mine is like right there where

[16:52] like the heart is like the hands are

[16:54] holding the heart and then like a little

[16:56] bit in the hair. But this is easy

[16:58] touchup. So usually I'll go magic eraser

[17:00] tool, click on the diva photo and then

[17:03] just hit boom. Get a little careful

[17:05] where you hit it because you don't want

[17:07] to ruin the whole picture like that. And

[17:09] if it does get a little harder, what

[17:11] I'll do is like I'll just

[17:16] zoom in as best as I could without like

[17:18] taking up too much space. And instead of

[17:21] magic eraser tool, I'll just use the

[17:22] regular eraser tool. Lower how many

[17:24] pixels I erase and just and go in to try

[17:26] to get as clean of an erase I can. Like

[17:31] doing this doesn't have to be perfect.

[17:34] Like I don't think anyone's going to

[17:35] notice except the people watching this

[17:38] video. All right, then I'm going to drop

[17:40] that down a little bit. And then we're

[17:44] going to use a different thumbnail photo

[17:46] for that. And then I usually try to when

[17:48] I do my text I try to match the colors

[17:50] on the skin. So it looks like it's like

[17:51] a pinkish blue. So um I hit the

[17:58] um crazy diva bomb

[18:02] trick shot. It's blocking div.a a little

[18:04] bit. So maybe I'll just uh move her to

[18:07] like right there. I try to avoid having

[18:10] too much dead space. So I'll just lower

[18:12] her a little bit. I want D.A to be like

[18:15] the main

[18:16] focus on this one. So, I'm just going to

[18:18] try to do that. And maybe I'll just make

[18:21] the text just a subtly a little smaller.

[18:24] And like I said, so I'll just go word by

[18:26] word. Um, so that like and I'll just

[18:29] make it like the brightest version of

[18:30] whatever I click on. So, crazy diva. And

[18:33] we'll do like a blue. I'm not really

[18:36] feeling that big. Crazy diva bomb. And

[18:38] then again, we'll just pick that crazy.

[18:41] And we'll hit div.a or boom.

[18:44] shot. Hit that pink and then blue. I

[18:48] think that just looks a little more

[18:49] visually appealing. Um, and then usually

[18:52] I just use impact font. I know, very

[18:55] boring. And then what I'll do is I'll

[18:57] open up the effects. And then I usually

[19:00] just select stroke just to give it a

[19:03] good outline. Hit okay.

[19:06] And then I'll open up my files in my

[19:10] pictures on my camera. I have a bunch of

[19:12] different just default ones, but I

[19:14] really like this one. So, we're going to

[19:16] use this one here. And then just same

[19:19] thing. Done. Back. Remove background.

[19:22] And usually, like I said, Photoshop does

[19:24] a great job on it. And then, just to be

[19:27] sure, what I'll do is I'll open up the

[19:30] effects menu again. Open up the effects

[19:32] menu again. I'm going to do a stroke,

[19:34] but I'm going to make it a white stroke.

[19:36] And then I'll see, oh, this isn't the

[19:38] cleanest strokes. So, like I'll just

[19:41] edge it up a little. So, I'll just uh I

[19:44] said I'll just go through and just kind

[19:46] of make it look a little more nicer. Um

[19:49] this one I'll just use a bigger thing

[19:51] for because I'm not trying to like hit

[19:53] anything precise. I just like I said, I

[19:55] just want it to look a little more

[19:57] cleaner because you can see like those

[19:59] rough bumps there. Just boom. Like, oh,

[20:02] that doesn't look good. So, we'll just

[20:03] do that. We'll just redo that. Just go

[20:04] boom. And if I really wanted to,

[20:07] sometimes I'll just do like take out my

[20:10] chair in the shot because some most of

[20:12] the times this just looks better when I

[20:14] don't have the chair in the shot

[20:15] anyways. And then I'll just try to look

[20:18] a little more natural

[20:20] and it's not the best looking, but it

[20:22] works for what we're doing cuz like I

[20:25] said, it's going to be a thumbnail. No

[20:27] one's going to see the thumbnail this

[20:28] big ever. They're usually going to have

[20:31] it on their phone. So like on this

[20:33] screen, you're not really going to see

[20:34] it. you're not really going to see the

[20:36] imperfections like that. Actually, hold

[20:39] on. I have a I think I like I have a

[20:41] better one I want to use. And this

[20:43] happens sometimes. I'll just uh we'll

[20:45] use this one. I think this one might

[20:47] actually be the better one for this. And

[20:49] again, remove background. Sorry, we did

[20:52] all that work for nothing. And then

[20:54] we'll just go through. And also, this is

[20:57] a good example of like bad stroke, bad

[20:59] bad time for Photoshop because it

[21:02] doesn't really do a good job on this

[21:04] one. And then we'll just go through,

[21:05] like I said, just I'll just go through

[21:07] and just like, oh, [ __ ] Just go over

[21:10] that and just boom. You just don't want

[21:14] it like my goal is just to make it not

[21:16] look weird. I want it to look like a

[21:18] natural not not a natural outline, but I

[21:20] don't want it to be a big bulky

[21:23] outline. I want it to kind of just look

[21:25] straight. Like a little I think it just

[21:27] looks a little more professional when

[21:28] it's straighter and doesn't have like

[21:31] all those like ridges like that. That's

[21:32] all just like boom. That was a little

[21:35] more than I wanted. So, we'll just

[21:37] straighten it out a little bit. Maybe

[21:39] fix up the elbow right there. And I know

[21:42] I could just save these as But this

[21:45] really this like I could save some time

[21:48] and do it, but this doesn't really take

[21:50] that. Like right here. I think that's a

[21:52] great I think that's a great thumbnail.

[21:55] It's not like I said, I just I have a

[21:58] bunch of templates. A lot of this is

[21:59] like um you can see I'm blocking the

[22:02] stadium logo. So I'll probably just

[22:03] throw that up right there. Actually, I

[22:05] think I could block the stadium logo on

[22:06] this. I And then we'll just save a cop.

[22:09] Save. So I have like my latest one

[22:12] saved. Save a copy.

[22:15] I'll do JPEG.

[22:17] And I just name it um crazy diva

[22:21] trickshot. And then I know that's the

[22:23] thumbnail for the video. All right. So

[22:26] that's normally what I do while the

[22:28] video is rendering. So that's not like

[22:32] that's usually happening during like the

[22:34] waiting process for this. So normally by

[22:36] the time the video is done rendering,

[22:39] I'm done with my Photoshop. But now what

[22:42] we're going to do is we're going to exit

[22:46] out, reopen Filmore. We're we'll save

[22:48] that. That way if I need it for

[22:50] something, but I don't think I will.

[22:52] This is what I'll do next. This is how I

[22:54] get all my short clip my clips from from

[22:57] the video to like Tik Tok, Instagram.

[23:02] I do it all in here as well. So, what I

[23:04] do is I'm going to I got to reopen up my

[23:06] videos folder really quick, YouTube

[23:08] videos, diva bomb trickshot. This is why

[23:12] I think it's important to

[23:15] um have this in a separate folder

[23:17] because then we're going to make another

[23:18] folder in the video. Call it vertical.

[23:21] Um you can call it whatever you want. I

[23:23] usually do vertical clips. And with

[23:26] this, what I'm going to do is uh keep

[23:29] project settings on this because we're

[23:31] going to make this a vertical form

[23:32] video. 1920 x 1080p. And again, this is

[23:35] going to be for Filora. It might be

[23:37] different, might be harder on um I'm

[23:41] going to move this over here for now so

[23:42] y'all can see the top of this top of

[23:45] this part here. Um, this might be

[23:47] different for other video softwares, but

[23:50] this is the most userfriendly one I have

[23:53] because I'm not much of a video editor.

[23:55] So, what I do is I'm going to make this

[23:58] I'm going to make each layer separately

[24:00] basically. So, we're going to add the

[24:01] video six times, but we're going to do

[24:03] one layer at a time. So, for this one,

[24:05] I'm going to want to put my camera. So,

[24:08] we're going to do crop and zoom. I'm

[24:10] going to do a custom ratio.

[24:13] Now I'm just going to come in, zoom in

[24:15] on my camera here, hit apply, and then

[24:18] that looks good on the side, and I can

[24:20] place it where I want in the video. So

[24:22] I'm gonna put place it there. Then we're

[24:24] going to drag another another section

[24:26] down. And then you can hit don't ask

[24:29] again. Uh keep project settings because

[24:31] you want it to be in 1080. And then

[24:33] we're going to do again another tool.

[24:35] I'm sorry. Yeah, tools, video, crop, and

[24:38] zoom. And another custom. And this time,

[24:42] what I'm going to do is I'm going to

[24:44] make it so I not my vid my video is not

[24:47] showing, but I'm going to have enough of

[24:49] gameplay that it's going to have on. So,

[24:53] boom. And then I want my video to be on

[24:56] top of it. So, I'm just going to do

[24:57] that. And then what I'll normally do is

[25:00] clip is literally if I need to, like I

[25:03] said, I can drag this down. Um, we'll go

[25:05] into where a game play is.

[25:09] That way we can see how the game play

[25:11] scene looks. I'm not too crazy for that.

[25:13] So, um, that's this one. There we go.

[25:17] Tools, video, crop, and zoom. I'm going

[25:19] to fix the zoom a the crop a little bit

[25:22] to have, and this is also my fault.

[25:24] Normally, I have my video a little bit

[25:26] more um to the right. So, we'll just do

[25:30] that just to like fix that a little bit.

[25:32] Um, trying to freload off.

[25:35] >> I think that looks pretty good. But now

[25:38] this is depending what you want to do

[25:40] from here. I'm going to add let me go

[25:44] back to the front. And usually what I do

[25:46] is I mute all but one layer, one track.

[25:51] So I'm going to go back up here. Mute.

[25:54] And this is what I'm going to have be

[25:57] like my health bar and stuff. So it's

[25:59] going to be another um view or I'm

[26:02] sorry, tools, video, crop and zoom.

[26:05] Well, I'm going to get my health bar

[26:06] here. So, it's also going to be another

[26:08] custom. So, we're just gonna boom,

[26:12] boom,

[26:14] boom. Like that. Hit apply.

[26:17] And now we have our health bar, which

[26:20] I'm I'm going to put right here next to

[26:22] the alt meter right here on the bottom.

[26:25] And then we're going to drag another one

[26:27] down. And another we're another tool.

[26:30] Make sure you mute it. uh tools, video,

[26:34] crop and zoom.

[26:36] Um I like to have my cooldowns showing.

[26:39] There's not a lot of cool downs for this

[26:41] character specifically, so I don't have

[26:43] to do a big one here, but I do need to

[26:46] go forward a little bit in time so I can

[26:49] see where the full bar is. But that

[26:52] should work for now. So, we're going to

[26:54] hit play really quick. There we go.

[26:57] Because I want to see the rest of it.

[26:59] So, we're going to hit tools again.

[27:01] video crop and zoom. And I want the rest

[27:04] of that there. We'll just come down a

[27:07] little bit. Apply. Shrink it down. Put

[27:11] it on this side. Shrink it down some

[27:13] more to I can just kind of line it up.

[27:15] The goal is just to kind of make it look

[27:17] nicer than just a clip of you in the

[27:20] front and top. So what And since this is

[27:23] stadium, I add two more. The two more I

[27:26] do are going to be tools, video, crop

[27:30] and zoom. Again, custom.

[27:34] But what I'm going to add here is this

[27:37] part here, like the scores and who's

[27:39] playing and how much money they've

[27:40] earned. I usually put it up here

[27:43] somewhere. So, I'll just go boom. To

[27:45] make it smaller, I can, but usually I'll

[27:48] just like or even like kind of put it

[27:50] right here under that. And then again,

[27:53] same thing. Make sure you mute it

[27:55] because otherwise if you don't mute all

[27:58] the extra layers you're adding, your

[28:00] audio is going to sound really, really

[28:02] bad. Trust me, I did it by accident and

[28:04] it was But then again, crop and zoom

[28:07] custom.

[28:09] Same idea. Just try to get that little

[28:12] box as best as you can. Doesn't have to

[28:15] be perfect. We're just trying to make

[28:17] some We're just trying to make some

[28:19] clips for Tik Tok, YouTube, Instagram.

[28:22] So, you could just do that. Maybe even

[28:24] like slide this over a little bit cuz

[28:25] you don't you don't need the money

[28:27] showing but I like to have the money

[28:28] showing. And then I can just kind of

[28:30] match it up like that. And then there

[28:33] you go. You see that the alt screens

[28:34] right there too. So we don't have to we

[28:36] don't have to hide that cuz that's

[28:37] there. Um and that should be all the

[28:41] layers we need cuz there's camera game

[28:45] points points health things. You can see

[28:49] the alt charge. Okay. And like I said,

[28:51] if you really wanted to, like I might,

[28:54] what I might end up doing is again uh to

[28:58] tools, crop and zoom, maybe extend it

[29:01] out just a little bit just to get a

[29:02] little better, broader gameplay.

[29:05] And if I have to, I could just drop my I

[29:07] could extend my camera a little just to

[29:10] cover up like the empty space. Just do

[29:13] that. And that looks a little more

[29:15] centered, so that's fine. And we could

[29:17] just hit play just to see what it looks

[29:18] like.

[29:18] >> Almost there.

[29:20] >> Okay. Okay. So, I want to drop these

[29:21] just a little. And then we don't need

[29:25] our outro for this. So, we could just go

[29:28] through.

[29:31] >> So, like I I'll probably even cut it

[29:33] right here after.

[29:35] >> Yeah. What? Oh my god. Demon save us.

[29:39] >> And so, I'll just cut right there. And

[29:42] all these have been cut. So, I'll just

[29:45] boom boom boom delete because this will

[29:48] all come in handy in a little bit. So,

[29:51] export. Um, we're going to rename this

[29:53] to uh div.a bomb. We'll just put DBTS.

[29:59] Div.A bomb trickshot vert. So, I always

[30:03] have issues with the different settings.

[30:06] I don't know what's going on, but the I

[30:09] have one called correct vertical. Oh,

[30:11] you can't see that. So I have project

[30:14] settings called correct vertical. This

[30:17] is the encoder. It's MEG 4. Quality

[30:20] always change it to high. Format MP4.

[30:23] I'll show you all these. Um VBR bit

[30:26] rate. Encoder AAC stereo 441 hertz 192

[30:31] bit rate. But like you can see the

[30:33] settings there. And then again we're

[30:37] going to export. So I'll see you guys

[30:38] when it's done exporting. Hey. So, my

[30:41] computer decided to act up for some

[30:43] reason. I don't really know why. So,

[30:45] we're just going to pick up last like

[30:47] So, I just kind of called it a night

[30:49] last night. Um, we're just going to pick

[30:50] up where we left off. So, that explains

[30:52] the new change of clothes. Um, yeah. So,

[30:56] essentially what we're going to do, we

[30:59] already edited our videos down to our

[31:01] vertical format and we're going to So,

[31:05] we're going to turn our video into short

[31:08] into shorts basically. So, that's why we

[31:11] do the vertical format. Um, I already

[31:13] did the big video, but I'm going to show

[31:16] you the step by steps for this one

[31:17] because it's a little bit simpler cuz

[31:22] it's a smaller video, so it won't take

[31:23] as long to do. So, this is the clip we

[31:26] edited out. You can see right here where

[31:28] I went in for my default, just did my

[31:31] little trick shot.

[31:32] >> It's a 12 second clip.

[31:36] >> So, basically, there's different themes

[31:38] you could pick. You could do auto for

[31:40] all. I usually just, like I said, this

[31:42] I'm a gaming channel, so I do gaming and

[31:44] sports. And then there's sports, um,

[31:47] game highlights, game competition,

[31:49] commentary, sports commentary, game

[31:50] strategy, game trailer, and they all

[31:53] have different assets. So, I usually do

[31:57] just depending

[31:59] like this is a game unboxing,

[32:01] so I probably end up doing I think I'll

[32:04] do this one just because it's a little

[32:06] like I like these assets a little bit

[32:07] more. So, we'll do game highlights and

[32:09] you we're just going to generate it. And

[32:12] um I pay $100 a year for Filora. So,

[32:16] essentially what that gives me is a

[32:19] bunch of credits for all their AI

[32:22] software stuff and it it really helps

[32:26] like the process out. Don't get me

[32:28] wrong, I'd love to hire like a shorts

[32:30] editor, but I'm a small YouTube channel.

[32:32] I'm not even monetized yet. That's why

[32:34] we're doing videos like this to try to

[32:36] get monetized so I don't have to worry

[32:37] about. So yeah, it's just generating the

[32:40] video. Really simple stuff. Really easy.

[32:43] It's just a click and drag over. And

[32:45] like I said, I usually do it with the

[32:47] big one, which I'll show you the results

[32:49] of those as well as we go. Um I could

[32:52] probably show you right now actually

[32:54] because that's going to take a while to

[32:55] generate anyways. It takes a couple

[32:57] seconds. So this is um right here going

[33:01] to be let me move my this is right here

[33:04] our

[33:06] all from our main video. These are all

[33:08] the clips it it generated for us. So as

[33:12] you can see it's going to be like um all

[33:14] this you can hit play you can watch it

[33:17] but I'm going to edit it so you can see

[33:18] it full screen. So, right here is um all

[33:22] the subtitles that it added. And then

[33:25] you can see here in the editor itself,

[33:27] like how it cut it, the sound effects it

[33:31] added, little um uh stickers and stuff

[33:34] so we could play it through for you.

[33:36] That poor just got red. You know, I'm

[33:39] glad Trent distract today's been a good

[33:41] div.

[33:41] >> You can't reflect my suck.

[33:43] >> Let's go.

[33:44] >> Let's see if this play of the game.

[33:46] >> What a trick shot.

[33:49] around. The only thing the only issue I

[33:52] saw here is that um it says div.a and

[33:56] it's not wrong but it's diva like that.

[34:00] So we're just going to apply that. So

[34:02] I'm just going to look for every time it

[34:04] says div.a on here so I can fix that.

[34:07] And I did say resed. So I'll fix that.

[34:10] The other div.a and we just again I'm

[34:13] just fixing the little things on there.

[34:15] And there that should have been div.a as

[34:17] well. So, I always go through and just

[34:20] double check the work. Uh, beautiful.

[34:22] What a trick shot. So, apply to all.

[34:24] Apply. And that basically fixed it all.

[34:28] So,

[34:29] yeah, we can go back and we could go

[34:31] export this now. Um, actually, you don't

[34:35] actually have to do that. I lied. You

[34:38] could close it out, save your project,

[34:40] because then when you save it, it's

[34:42] going to be here. So, it saves all your

[34:45] short clips essentially. It saves your

[34:48] So, it saves all your short clips

[34:50] essentially. So, if you ever needed to

[34:51] go back, as long as you still have the

[34:53] video, you have it. But we're going to

[34:55] focus on that uh that short clip here.

[34:58] So,

[34:59] >> damn.

[35:05] >> Okay. So, we can fix that. That So,

[35:09] let's see what it

[35:10] >> Damn.

[35:13] [Music]

[35:15] So, it thinks it says fatt. This is an

[35:18] easy fix here. So, we're going to go

[35:20] here. It was

[35:24] And then it was fat alt. Fat alt apply

[35:29] to all. And then we just go through.

[35:30] Watch it again.

[35:31] >> Damn.

[35:37] [Music]

[35:40] >> And there we go. Apply. And then we're

[35:44] going to export it. And of course, like

[35:45] I said before, um I'll name it um fat

[35:50] alt clip. Change it to high. Like I

[35:54] said, I use I had to find my correct

[35:56] settings cuz for some reason it doesn't

[35:58] work for it. It spawned really weird. It

[36:00] would always render really weird. But

[36:02] I'm going to let this render because my

[36:04] PC can't handle recording and rendering.

[36:06] So I'll be back. Okay. So now that the

[36:09] clips are all rendered, I can put myself

[36:11] back over here. It's time to upload

[36:14] them. So, what I'm going to do first is

[36:17] I'm going to upload my video. So, um I

[36:20] actually don't need to do that. I can

[36:21] just click and drag it in. So, we're

[36:22] going to do a div.a bomb trick shot

[36:24] right here. Just going to click and drag

[36:25] it in. I hit this insane

[36:29] trickshot Overwatch.

[36:32] Uh let's change it to uh yeah, we'll

[36:35] keep it I Overwatch to stadium

[36:40] gameplay. And like I said, we are all

[36:42] about just having a workflow. So, I'm

[36:46] going to click up here. It says reuse

[36:48] details. And I'm going to click my last

[36:51] Overwatch video I uploaded. Um, I'm

[36:53] going to not keep the title. I'm going

[36:55] to keep the description.

[36:57] Keep everything else. Reuse.

[37:00] And then I added something new to my

[37:03] thing. It's uh, thank you for watching

[37:06] if you enjoyed the video. And then all

[37:09] this other stuff is here. Got my

[37:11] playlist, the three different playlists

[37:13] I upload my Overwatch videos in. No,

[37:15] it's not made for kids. Um, upload

[37:18] files. So, we're going to find my Diva

[37:21] trickshot. Crazy Diva trickshot. We're

[37:24] going to hit next. Video element. Import

[37:26] from video. So, we're just going to

[37:27] import from latest video. As soon as it

[37:29] Oh, I wrong. There we go. Import from

[37:30] latest video. This is my cart. So, I

[37:33] have subscribe best best reviewer. So,

[37:36] we're just going to hit save.

[37:38] So, it's going to ask people to

[37:39] subscribe if they make it to the end of

[37:40] the video and it show recommend them a

[37:42] video that's best for saving. It's going

[37:43] to show copyright content there. Then,

[37:46] we're going to schedule this. I'm

[37:47] scheduling my videos two days out, like

[37:50] two days apart now. So, I believe that

[37:52] should be the 14th for this video.

[37:55] And uh I usually upload mine at like

[37:57] 9:00 a.m. 10:00 a.m. depending. All

[37:59] right. Yeah. So, this goes up on the

[38:01] 12th. So, that one goes up on the 14th.

[38:03] And then what we're going to do is we're

[38:06] going to go over to shorts again. We're

[38:08] going to do upload videos. And since

[38:11] it's all one folder here, we're just

[38:14] going to boom. And now we just wait for

[38:18] them to upload along with the the game.

[38:21] So this is what I upload my shorts

[38:23] directly from my computer to here

[38:26] because you can edit everything on here.

[38:29] Like I'll show you right now. I'll leave

[38:31] this up so it can show. Right now it

[38:33] thinks it's a YouTube video. So if we

[38:34] would click it, it probably won't pop up

[38:36] because it's not uploaded it. But it

[38:38] look it thinks it's a YouTube video

[38:40] right now. So as long as you upload your

[38:43] videos in your in your studio in your

[38:45] YouTube studio as a as a vertical

[38:49] format, you'll see right now it will

[38:52] change this link to a shorts link. But

[38:55] we could for now just um I'm going to

[38:58] keep basically this is the same. Um, all

[39:01] I'm going to do is reuse details from my

[39:04] my last Overwatch short. Um, reuse that.

[39:08] We're not going to upload a thumbnail

[39:10] because it's a short. We could, but I

[39:13] don't really see I never really had that

[39:15] issue. All right. So, for now, we're

[39:17] just going to let this be cuz, as you

[39:18] can see, it's going to edit here in a

[39:20] second. I'm just waiting for it to show

[39:23] >> because it's showing it right now as a

[39:24] video, as a YouTube video, right?

[39:27] >> And now, if you look, now I'm going to

[39:28] click on it again.

[39:30] Now it's a shorts video. There we go.

[39:33] And then we just hit next. Add related

[39:35] video. And um that's go. It's I will

[39:39] have to wait for that. So that's

[39:42] something I'm just going to have to come

[39:43] back to. We're going to schedule this

[39:45] for the 14th

[39:47] and we'll do like uh

[39:51] we'll do 11. We'll do 10 cuz that way

[39:54] when I upload all these I can link it

[39:57] back to

[39:59] so like when you go to um add related

[40:02] videos it only shows you your public

[40:05] videos. So since my my diva video is

[40:09] scheduled still I can't link it. But

[40:13] after it's gone live I can link it. So I

[40:16] usually I usually let these just sit in

[40:18] my drafts. I'm just doing this as an

[40:19] example cuz when once they all finish um

[40:23] processing, so I'll just start doing

[40:24] this. Just keep clicking them. And to

[40:27] get them to start uploading, you just

[40:28] click them like that. Just click the

[40:30] names and they'll start uploading.

[40:34] Like this one for example, the fat alt

[40:36] clip. We're obviously going to change

[40:37] that to crazy diva bomb. It's not made

[40:41] for kids. We use details. Again, we're

[40:44] just going to keep using the o our

[40:47] Overwatch clips as like our details

[40:51] except the title reuse. And then

[40:53] eventually this will also again be

[40:56] become a shorts. So we don't have to

[40:58] worry about that. And then so all these

[41:01] will just sit here in our shorts as

[41:04] drafts until the video goes live. Then

[41:07] I'll start scheduling them more. But

[41:10] other than that, that's basically my

[41:12] workflow on how I get videos from my

[41:15] Twitch VODs all the way up until

[41:19] the actual upload process. Uh, let me

[41:21] know what you thought. Don't forget,

[41:22] like, comment, subscribe. I'll probably

[41:24] do another video about my pre-recorded

[41:27] content, which I didn't do on this one,

[41:30] which I probably should have, but I'll

[41:33] show you like pre-recorded, what I do,

[41:35] like my settings and stuff for

[41:37] pre-recorded like content, which I don't

[41:39] do all that often cuz a lot of the times

[41:41] I'm just getting this off my Twitch. But

[41:44] there's been a couple examples where

[41:45] I've been doing it differently. So yeah,

[41:48] like I said, if you enjoyed the video,

[41:51] don't forget like, comment, subscribe,

[41:52] and I'll see you guys in the next video.
