[00:00] the YouTube algorithm changes all the time and just when you think you started to understand it the Geeks at the YouTube headquarters come in and change it again now it's had some big changes for 2025 and in this video I'm going to
[00:13] uncover everything you need to know to beat the algorithm grow your channel and get more views on all of your future videos now firstly the good news is that this year it's confirmed YouTube will be continuing its push for small creators
[00:27] now we saw throughout all of 2024 YouTube hyperfocused on small channels and many people were seeing rapid growth on newly created accounts now I'm a prime example of this I started this channel on October the 1st and now I'm
[00:41] already over 50,000 subscribers which has taken me less than 4 months but if take advantage of it this year too now obviously the algorithm isn't just going to push any random Channel out for the sake of it there are specific tactics
[00:57] and strategies you need to incorporate into your videos for the algorithm to pick your content and push it so listen up because I'll share all of these subscribers in less than 4 months so when you have a new or a small channel
[01:14] the algorithm's role is to always push your videos out to a large group of people with the sole aim of finding the Right audience for your content so if you don't have any subscribers yet when you first start out all of your videos
[01:28] to new viewers in hope that those new viewers will be interested in your content now if you post a video out and you don't get clicks or you get clicks
[01:40] but have a really low retention rate the algorithm will simply just stop pushing your videos out however if your newly posted videos do get clicks and a lot of your videos out to more and more people and vice versa it's really as simple as
[01:56] that the more clicks and Views you get the greater the push the less clicks and Channel with an audience already when you post a new video out the algorithm
[02:08] viewers or not now this is basically a little test where the algorithm will measure the performance of your video by your current subscribers first so if your current subscribers click on your new video and they enjoy it the
[02:23] algorithm will then push it out to more and more new viewers however let's say post it the algorithm simply just won't push it out because it's going to assume
[02:35] that that video is poor quality because if your current subscribers don't want to watch it why would anybody else so you need to understand the big difference between how the algorithm works for new channels versus how it
[02:47] works for channels with an existing audience new channels will always get channels will always need to impress their own audience first okay then with that in mind how do you make the algorithm work in your favor well
[03:02] firstly it's going to sound a bit counterproductive but it's true to beat the algorithm you need to avoid focusing on the algorithm too much you need to swap the word algorithm with the word audience and when starting out with a
[03:16] new YouTube channel it's really really important that you clearly Define what target viewers want to watch now I always recommend that you need to choose
[03:28] a niche that you either experienced in or have a deep vested interest in because the content you make really needs to connect with people of a specific Niche now that's why I started this account in the YouTube growth Niche
[03:41] because I've got years of experience on YouTube and I'm genuinely interested in this space so this kind of content was perfect for me that's because like the algorithm only really cares about one thing showing good quality videos to
[03:55] people that might be interested in them and getting those people to watch as posting hours topics lengths or anything like that it only cares about
[04:07] prioritizing content that people love so if you make a video that people can't go to sleep without watching you will get views now I know that coming up with good video ideas is probably one of the hardest things about YouTube and
[04:20] honestly I struggled with this for ages too and good ideas are hard to come by but that's why I now use 10 of 10 it's a really popular AI tool that videos that have performed significantly better compared to the Channel's average
[04:36] that have a really high level of demand and if they worked for them they're YouTubers use which is why they produce Banger after Banger now this is the
[04:50] thumbnails niches and specific channels here you can see different colors we've got like red purple and this kind of like identifies how
[05:02] much of an outlier this video is so here you can see this title is why men are no longer courting women this one got 517,000 views compared to Channel's average of 31,000 views and this guy's only got 54,000 subscribers so for him
[05:17] to get 517,000 views is just like this obviously is a huge outlier and whoever wanted to kind of like recreate this in their own way is also probably going to demand and this tool basically just like picks out all of the viral videos and
[05:35] normally this is what it looks like it will just bring up all the videos that it thinks you'll be interested in but not all of these videos will be successful videos some of them got 9k views some of them got 4.6k views so
[05:49] you'll be interested in whereas this software brings up the only viral videos this software only brings up videos that performed exceptionally well compared to
[06:02] the Channel's average view count and subscriber count so if you're ever say you going to Barley and you had like a Travel Channel and you're thinking to yourself I'm going to Barley soon but I'm really struggling for ideas like
[06:17] what what kind of videos can I do so all I do is type in barley here and then this is going to give me the best videos that are in The Barley Niche so I could then use these as ideas for my own video going forward and the best thing is we
[06:29] can actually use filters to Niche it down even more so let's say I want a multiplier of at least five because I want this video to be really good I want at least let's say 50k views on this video I want their average subscriber
[06:42] minutes because I don't really like creating videos longer than that and then you have publication day which means when was this video published so I always like to put maybe six and three is a bit like bit tight whereas 6 months
[06:57] outli videos from this barley Niche within the last 6 months then we've got barley is not what I expected 5 days in ubber so I if I was looking for a video
[07:09] done that's really well because it's got 60k views compared to a channel average of 7K and then if I really did like this idea all I've got to do then is click on topics it's going to give me loads more videos related to that video that I can
[07:24] particular video and now it's giving me me all of these suggestions based on these ideas yeah if you're struggling to think ideas definitely give one of 10 a
[07:38] discount um but yeah definitely give it a try so this now leads us onto our next point which is YouTube should be treated as a long-term investment not short-term
[07:50] day trading so to be able to master the algorithm and grow your channel successfully you need to improve by at least 1% every single time you post a new video and what I mean by this is when you post a new video you then need
[08:02] to rewatch it at least twice afterwards and note down all of the things you could have done better in that video you really need to self-analyze every video you post to make sure that you don't make any of the same mistakes again this
[08:15] is how you grow over the long term by making each video better than the last one okay then so here are now some actionable points you need to focus on so they become ingrained in your brain going forward it's essential that when
[08:29] you Crea a video You focus solely on the viewer and think of content that is either entertaining or educational you need to make it so your potential missing out if they didn't watch it so do some good Research into your Niche
[08:46] look for any gaps in the market or any opportunities to reinvent viral videos by adding your own twist to them focus on what makes you unique because to stand out in any Niche you need to promote What Makes You Different and
[08:58] what you can offer so if you're just starting out on YouTube or you found channel I'm going to suggest you do this you need to post 10 new deeply
[09:11] researched and really well executed videos over the next couple of weeks you can use a tool like one of 10 for this exercise or you can just scroll through the YouTube home feed now what I want you to do is really research your Niche
[09:24] your competitors are doing and and then I want you to make 10 of your own really well-made videos using all of this information now once you've posted all
[09:36] 10 of these videos you're then going to let the algorithm do its thing and gather enough data as possible you're then going to analyze this data in your YouTube studio and see what content worked and what content didn't work look
[09:48] from here you can develop a plan going forward using everything you've learned from the last 10 videos now a quick announcement time me and my team have been working tirelessly behind the scenes creating one of the best YouTubey
[10:03] out there for 2025 it has well over 10 years worth the best YouTube growth knowledge to help you guys hit your first 10,000 subscribers they also give everyone the opportunity to make money even if you don't have any subscribers
[10:17] yet it's also going to have the biggest community of YouTubers all supporting each other so if you're interested in being a founding member of this Academy this one guys I hope you enjoyed enjoyed it I hope we learned something and I
[10:31] guess I'll see you in the next one goodbye
