This video offers a practical guide to cross-platform content promotion, emphasizing the need to customize content for each social media platform to maximize reach and business growth. The creator shares strategies for repurposing content, avoiding common mistakes, and leveraging collaborations, while also addressing the declining relevance of hashtags.
To maximize visibility and scale a business, creators must promote content across all major platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest) because audiences are distributed everywhere.
Regardless of your favorite platform, YouTube should be a top-two platform for promotion because it offers significant potential for visibility and sales.
Uploading the same video in the same style across platforms is a mistake. Each platform has unique characteristics: TikTok needs fast hooks (3-5 seconds), Instagram is picture-based, YouTube favors longer content, Facebook is family-friendly, and LinkedIn prefers polished business content.
Start with your favorite platform and supplement with YouTube. As you scale, hire team members to manage different platforms. Content can be recorded once and repurposed, either by yourself or via freelancers on Fiverr, LinkedIn, or Upwork.
Hashtags are largely outdated in 2025. They are not effective on Instagram, Facebook, or X (Elon Musk called them garbage). Focus on good content and strong hooks instead.
Collaborations with creators who fit your brand can significantly boost reach. Example: a collaboration with a comedian on Instagram consistently yields over 100,000 views per video, with the biggest reaching 36 million views.
To succeed in 2025, creators must adopt a multi-platform strategy, tailor content to each platform's norms, and leverage collaborations to amplify reach. Hashtags are no longer a primary tool; compelling hooks and value-driven content are key.

04:44[00:00] Once you master one platform, I'm about to teach you in this video how to custom promote your video across all platforms. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Snapchat, Pinterest.
[00:12] You need to be custom promoting all your brands all across because people are everywhere. Eyeballs are everywhere. You have your own favorite social media platform. Don't let everybody else. But you need to show up to maximize your scale.
[00:25] I mean your visibility and scale your business across all platforms. at the time, a true content creator. You're not just loyal to one platform. You're hitting them everywhere. You never know where you might get the most money
[00:37] or where people might like your content. You need to put your content on every platform when people need you. Why is it important to promote content across multiple platforms instead of just one?
[00:51] You guys, in the business world, you know, that's just like selling your product. If you're selling your product on TikTok, out, you don't think people on Instagram want to buy it, or YouTube, or LinkedIn, the name
[01:03] of the game is making more sales, so I would try to hit eyeballs on every platform, now you're going to have your favorite platform, so if Instagram is your favorite platform, I suggest you get YouTube, I suggest whatever your favorite platform is, YouTube needs to
[01:18] be your second favorite platform that you use you understand me so whatever your favorite is Instagram My favorite platform is YouTube but I use Instagram LinkedIn Facebook
[01:30] Twitter, X, TikTok. I use everything to promote, but you should definitely have YouTube in one of those top two that you need so people can see you, buy your product,
[01:42] get brand visibility through your product. You never know who's going to see what on which platform, and that might be the sale or the person that you meet that changes your life. So you want to be everywhere you can.
[01:56] What's the biggest mistake people make when trying to repurpose content for their business? Now, a mistake people can make is uploading the same video in the same style. What might work on TikTok might not work on Facebook,
[02:10] might not work on Instagram, so you need to make sure you're optimized. TikTok, like, moves really fast, So you need to hook the people in three to five seconds on TikTok. You know, Instagram might be more picture-based.
[02:23] You might need to take more pictures on Instagram. You know what I'm saying? YouTube, you might need to make longer form content for YouTube. Facebook, more family-friend oriented. So you might need to make stuff that appeals to your family and friends so you can get them to share it.
[02:36] LinkedIn likes more polished up business content. So you might need to put the professional talking videos on LinkedIn. You know what I'm saying? I mean each platform has a different strategy So you need to mixture your knowing what the market target is you trying to reach on each platform How do you approach the play process to get each platform without burning out
[02:58] Hey, you do it. You start with your favorite platform. And I say supplement it with YouTube. And then once you're able to scale, I'm not saying jump into this all right. This is more of an extra video for veterans in the game.
[03:11] But once you start to scale your team, you might be hiring somebody who can watch TikTok for you, who can watch Facebook for you, who can do that. That's currently what I do. But you can record. As long as you record the content, you can get it repurposed to each platform.
[03:26] People know how to do that. You can go on Fiverr, LinkedIn, Upwork. There's a lot of places where people know how to repurpose content and can help you do it. You can do it yourself, too, if you've got the time, energy, effort, and patience to, you know, get your game together.
[03:39] It's all in the work, man. you've been working on once in a while. Do hashtags still matter in 2025? How should creators use them now? Oh, my bad. Hashtags, I put them in one of my previous other videos
[03:53] you can find somewhere. I think they're a little outdated, but I know still on YouTube, and I think TikTok people use them, but Instagram, they did. Facebook, no way. X, no way.
[04:05] Elon Musk even said hashtags was garbage. that jump up the system on his platform So that what they said on X So 2025 I don rely on taking on hashtags I think that outdated That like 15 years ago people were hashtagging it up
[04:19] They were saying hashtag everything. You know how that was, but I think that era is dead. We all should have, you know, teach, add value, have good content. The hook is what's being now. Like, you really got to hook these people fast and get their attention
[04:32] before they go get off and do some other stuff and get video content. How do you leverage collaborations to expand your reach for dot-com stores?
[04:44] I like that. Collaborations, that's the change of the game. I know on Instagram, I currently got this million follower page, and we have some comedians. Now, before, when I go look at their numbers, without collaborations, they're doing all right numbers.
[05:04] But when we collaborate, it takes it to the next level. every video that we post is hitting like a hundred thousand so the biggest we did off of collaboration was 36 million views so i can expect every time i collab with this one creator that we're going to
[05:18] get no less than 100 000 views to whatever product service or promoting the kind of video that we're doing so collaborations are great make sure you're collaborating with somebody that fits your brand fits your audience fits what you're talking about and goes together and the sky's the limit with a
[05:33] a good collaboration.
