[00:00] to make real money from your content, and even if you're not consistent with uploading videos. that this one alternative monetization method can make

[00:15] from your content compared to YouTube ads. So I just started promoting a tool called Opus Clip, but I started promoting them as an affiliate

[00:27] that helps creators take one long form video and stream, vertical content with just a few clicks. In the two videos that I've mentioned Opus Clip in,

[00:40] for a dedicated video about it, and $444.29 cents for a video These two videos have a combined total views

[00:54] with a combined total of $500.63 cents in ad revenue. about Opus Clip so far is $845.50 cents,

[01:07] that's a $344.87 cents difference so far. that hasn't even crossed 7,000 views at the time of this recording that I published last week.

[01:22] Let me explain why. are gonna be on YouTube indefinitely, for a really long period of time.

[01:34] which means for every one of you I'm gonna keep getting commissions for the next 12 months,

[01:46] So since people pay monthly and I get a commission monthly, the revenue that's coming in just from that rapidly. of what I'm laying down here, hit the like button.

[02:00] But let's talk about how you can do something similar. If you've never heard of affiliate marketing before, also known as a referral program,

[02:14] And after you sign up for one of these programs, And depending on the program that you sign up for, that are unique for you.

[02:26] you get a commission. without you having to do any customer service at all, You simply get paid by spreading awareness

[02:41] recommend, and use. - Hey, Nick. - Dude, I'm getting ready to show you how to do it,

[02:54] Relax and get ready to take some notes. In order to find an affiliate program in your niche, simply go to Google and type in affiliate programs for,

[03:08] Amazon, Walmart, and other services like them And as a quick side tip, they have very specific disclosures

[03:23] so make sure you do that as well in order to stay compliant. and then just tap on that to add it to your description If not, just make sure you do it manually.

[03:38] for those types of marketplaces for your niche, What can a, fill in your niche identity, you know, something like that, promote as an affiliate?

[03:52] From there, once you have your links ready, an awareness blog in your video description. but the idea is to have a link or group of links

[04:04] and will bring the highest value to your viewers. the highest value to your viewers, in all of your video descriptions.

[04:19] it's important to make sure that is extremely relevant to the people And just putting links to your video equipment,

[04:32] that is targeting content creators, that's not enough, Okay, that's step one, so let's take this up a notch. - I think so, I mean, I hope they're still taking notes,

[04:45] there are passive, active, and hybrid approaches to it. and not saying anything to it, Active is taking a more deliberate approach

[05:00] so that they can be exposed to those links. you're gonna make the most money with the active approach. made more sales with less views than the list video?

[05:15] by making a focused video on Opus Clip. because I mentioned Opus Clip for a short time, and some people didn't even make it

[05:29] where you're wearing a pair of headphones in your video, or something like that, and you simply just let people know, "for anybody that wants to check them out."

[05:42] in my descriptions where I'm talking about other things some people will find them on the videos But again, if you take the active approach,

[05:56] but some people are not comfortable with that, And because of that, Now, let's level up even more.

[06:09] Whoa, whoa, whoa, sorry. you can take a more strategic approach For example, as part of your content strategy,

[06:24] So then if people are searching then they'll run across your video. that are actively seeking information about that product.

[06:39] This will lead to a higher amount of people In affiliate marketing lingo, But the search targeted videos

[06:52] which you see all over YouTube. which essentially double your chances of making a sale But as a pro tip, you only wanna share links

[07:05] that you know is a good product, you know they're going to be satisfied with that purchase. people that watch your videos

[07:20] won't even watch your videos anymore. if you promote products that are really good, like I do, and they'll keep trusting you when you keep telling them

[07:33] a lot more money in the long run. that you can make additional money from your content. go ahead and click into that now

[07:46] from what it is that you're already doing on YouTube. I'll see you in the next video.
