AI Summary

This video explains how to make money by uploading football videos to YouTube without facing copyright issues. The creator, Erica Lanis, shares strategies for content creation, monetization, and scaling, including using trending topics, AI voiceovers, and stock clips. The tutorial is aimed at beginners and emphasizes the potential to earn thousands of euros per month.

[00:02]
Example of successful football channel

A channel that uploads football videos without showing faces or recording themselves has a video with over 19 million views, earning over $20,000 with a simple RPM.

[00:29]
Creator's background

Erica Lanis makes a living from football and Formula 1 channels, having generated over €2000 in the second month with the same strategy.

[00:56]
Three types of football video ideas

1) Match clips, 2) Moments when a player changed the game, 3) Documentary-style content. Examples include Messi substitutions and Ronaldo/Ronaldinho performances.

[02:48]
Evergreen vs trending content

Evergreen content works long-term; trending content is news-based and can generate faster income but requires more time and drops in demand off-season.

[04:47]
Avoiding copyright issues

Structure videos into script, voiceover, editing, and thumbnail. Write your own script, use AI voiceover, delegate editing, use stock clips under 5 seconds, mirror them, and add AI-generated background music.

[07:28]
Titles and thumbnails

For trending content, use titles like 'Breaking News' or 'This happened in match XX'. For evergreen, use listicles like 'Top 10 saves'. Thumbnails should be eye-catching, using expressive faces or impactful images.

[08:34]
Monetization requirements

Need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours. RPM for football channels is typically $1-$2 due to lower purchasing power of audience, but the audience is huge.

[09:17]
Formula 1 channel example

Erica's F1 channel used a 'breaking news' thumbnail format and achieved €2000/month in under 2 months. She also mentions a second channel with evergreen content.

[10:22]
Mistake and Academy plug

She made a mistake by not transitioning to another sport when F1 season ended. She promotes Academy 1, a program to help people create automated channels and scale to thousands per month.

The video provides a step-by-step guide to creating a profitable football YouTube channel without copyright issues, emphasizing trending content and delegation. It also promotes a paid academy for further learning.

[00:02] by uploading football videos without recording themselves, without showing their faces, and the owner hasn't even made the videos themselves. His most viewed video has accumulated more than 19 million views and with a simple RPM of $0 per 1000 views,

[00:16] that video already left him with more than $20,000 in his pocket. In this video I'm going to show you how these channels use third-party clips without having copyright issues. It also shows how they generate tens of thousands of dollars and how you can

[00:29] do the same step by step, even if you haven't made any videos before. If you don't know me, I'm Erica Lanis and I make a living generating income from these types of specific football one, but I have had a Formula 1 one, where I went from zero to

[00:43] generating more than €2000 in the second month with exactly the same strategy that I'm going to teach you. Let's get to the first point you need to know: winning ideas. First of all, let's look at the different football video ideas, and

[00:56] then I'm going to show you the ideas that I would personally choose to be successful of videos that we are going to see next, and then I'm going to show you another one, which is what I would personally do. Look, these types of videos are

[01:11] that, for example, here tells you the five times that Lionel Messi has been substituted by another person, by another player, and it has literally changed the game, okay? This type of channel, if the match is popular, if that video goes

[01:26] viral, can work over time. We see that it has, well, that it was published 7 years ago and has 27 million views. It's a video that's nothing special, it simply takes compilations of that specific video

[01:41] and that's it. This other video, for example, shows Ronaldo and Ronaldinho will never forget Sidá's performance in this match. Look at the graph, notice that it was uploaded 2 years ago, not that long ago, as long as the other video and it has

[01:54] generated 12 million views. These types of videos work very, very well. Because? Because these are very historic moments in football, and if the video is good, it can generate long- term revenue. And then there's this other type of video,

[02:07] which is about the magician who brought street football to the biggest stadiums in the world. Also note that this video was published a month ago. Look at the few subscribers and has generated more than half a million visits. And look at the

[02:21] than half a million visits. And look at the graph, it keeps increasing all day long and continues to generate those visits and that revenue. If you look closely, there are three different types of videos. These are clips of matches, times when a person has

[02:34] changed the match, and then this last one that I showed you would be more of a documentary that also works a lot on sports channels. And now we're going to look at a type of content that I myself would create and that I myself have created to go from what I've

[02:48] told you, from zero in the second month to earning more than €2000 a month. And it's trending content. What do I mean by trends? There are two types of content on YouTube: Evergreen and trending.

[03:01] Evergreen are videos, they are specific topics that work more in the long term, and trends are news. Why do I recommend you create trends? When a sport is in season, in this case football, there are many

[03:14] trends, many controversies that we can leverage, literally being the first to upload that controversy, that news to YouTube and generate all that attention, because since there is a lot of demand, since there is

[03:29] a lot of audience within these niches, people are interested in knowing what is happening. That's exactly what I did with Formula 1. I analyzed what kind of controversial news I should upload, and once I found that format, I

[03:42] Obviously you have to understand that everything has its pros and cons. Trending channels will require a lot of your time at first, but you can also exploit them in terms of income and generate it much

[03:55] faster, in quotes, than a more evergreen channel. But you have to keep in mind that sports channels, in this case football, experience a significant drop in demand when they are not in season. There are news stories, like the one we're

[04:08] seeing here, that a video from the day before yesterday generated 40,000 views, but it's something a little more difficult. What I recommend is that you upload the type of content you feel comfortable with. If you feel you have a little more

[04:21] time, then I would recommend trending content. Because? Because, as I said, it will require more of your time, but you can exploit the channel a little faster, because if you are the first to upload that news,

[04:34] you will be the reference video, so to speak, and you will receive all that audience and then the following videos will be much easier to generate those views because you will also be better positioned. Let's talk now about

[04:47] shown you the types of content, yes, but what you are probably worried about is how to create content that doesn't have copyright issues in our videos. First of all, what we need to do is structure the video into script, voiceover,

[05:00] editing, and thumbnail. In terms of the script, what I recommend is that you do it yourself, that you write your own personal script so that nobody can come and tell you that you copied their script. That happens a lot, and I myself have

[05:13] caused my channel revenue to drop significantly. So, I yourself, analyze the topic, understand the topic, and publish the video. If you're in

[05:25] the know, get straight to the point because people aren't interested in rambling, they want the news straight to the point. In terms of voices, in terms of the narration, I recommend that you do it with artificial intelligence, not because

[05:38] normal person, but because you speed up the process much more and you don't depend on another person to deliver the work or not. For editing, I recommend CapCut, and I don't recommend doing it yourself; I recommend delegating the editing

[05:52] to someone else. Because? Because editing is the most time- consuming aspect of content creation, and if you delegate it to an expert, someone who is already accustomed to editing videos, the

[06:04] copyrighted will decrease significantly. To avoid copyright issues, I recommend using stock videos and images that are not copyrighted, or selecting clips from other channels or specific matches that are no longer than 5 seconds long and using the

[06:18] mirror option, that is, reversing the image. To get those clips or stock images, I recommend this page called Futbalía. Here you can watch live football videos or videos of matches that have already been

[06:32] broadcast. I've mentioned copyright a little, but I want to go into more detail, as I consider it very important in this type of I would do to make it your own content, for example, would be to add a

[06:46] too, which you can do with artificial intelligence to make it more original. Trim clips as I mentioned before, that is, if you have a 5-second clip, don't leave it at 5 seconds, but make it a

[06:59] little shorter. Also, change the order of the scenes; that is, don't make the video exactly like the game, but mix up the scenes to also zoom in on those stock images or clips and obviously add a

[07:14] good background script; that is, don't upload the video as is without a script because otherwise your content won't be monetized. Let's move on to the next point and publication. At the title level, you first need to consider what

[07:28] uploading more evergreen content or if you are also uploading more trending content. If you're trending, you have to put something like "new news," "x person is going to x team," or "new news." This is what happened in match xx. But

[07:42] if you upload more Evergen-style content, I recommend titles like the five best saves in football history or the 10 best goals in content usually works very well. In terms of video descriptions, I

[07:55] recommend that you include the first three paragraphs of your script. And to create those thumbnails and make them really eye-catching, I recommend that you take a screenshot of an interesting moment from a

[08:07] player's video, or with their mouth open, or with something that happened that really grabs attention, etc. Also, images of a footballer celebrating if it's a video of the 10 best goals in history, a video

[08:20] showing a great goal or a save, like a goalkeeper jumping. But if you're uploading more trending content, I recommend either two expressive faces or a truly impactful image with text like "

[08:34] Breaking News: This is happening." Once we have this clear, let's move on to the To monetize and start generating income, we need to meet the requirements, which are 1000 subscribers and 4,000 hours of viewing time on our

[08:48] videos. The RPM of this type of channel is usually from 1 to $ because, in the end, since it is a sport, the people you attract do not have a very high purchasing power. That 's more of a con, but a pro of this niche would be that there is a huge

[09:03] audience interested in football. I'm going to show you a similar channel, also in the sports niche, but sub-niche to Formula 1. As I said, it's the one that made me go from zero to €2,000 a month in less than 2 months.

[09:17] I would show you the inside of the channel, the only thing is I've lost count right now, but notice that it's not a channel that has generated millions and millions with videos, but it was a very consistent channel. And look, here I found

[09:30] the winning format. I found this striking thumbnail format, a thumbnail that showed what people wanted to know and said this as the latest news, okay? It was like something typical of American news, and it

[09:44] worked really, really well for me. And what I recommend is that you do something similar if you're going to do news, obviously so you can see. This is a Formula 1 channel that I also opened, and it's a very, very different channel from what you've

[09:57] seen so far. See? This channel is more evergreen content, the day that changed Formula 1 forever, the worst Formula 1 driver, uh, well, race that changed Formula 1

[10:10] forever. What the hell is going on with Checo Pérez? All these things are content that is more interesting in the long term, also in relation to what we have term, also in relation to what we have seen on the other channel here. I made

[10:22] a mistake and what I should have done was transition to another sport with because it was working for me, but at that moment I didn't know what I had to interesting, at Academy 1 we help people like you,

[10:37] people who want to create their own automated channels and scale to several thousand euros a month. We teach you how to learn the skill to generate €2,000 per month in 90 days. We even have interviews with students you see

[10:51] generating €3,000, €4,000, €5,000, even more than €10,000 per month and starting from you. So if you'd like to achieve the same, I recommend you watch the video in the first link in the description.
