How to Upload Your Online Course to Hotmart (Easy Step by Step)

[00:38] The first thing we're going to do is go to the Hotmart website. If you don't have an account, you'll see this screen. To create your Hotmart account, scroll down to where it says "Don't

[00:51] have an account yet? Create one." Click this small link, and it will ask for your information to create your account, including your name. Complete your email and password. What are you looking for on Hotmart? You have two options to choose from: Sell products

[01:04] or Buy products. You're going to select the option to sell products, check this box, and click Continue. That way, you'll create your Hotmart account. Immediately afterward, I'm going to log into my account here to show you what

[01:58] communities, online courses, product templates, subscriptions, books, PDFs, online events, and there are other products as well. There are several for example, consulting services, tickets for in-person events, downloadable images, photos,

[02:12] tickets for in-person events, downloadable images, photos, phone apps, downloadable files, discount coupons, American movies, podcasts, audiobooks, and downloadable software programs. In this case, we're going to create an

[02:26] online course, so we'll select this option. Then, a section will appear for you to enter information about your product. Here, it asks for the product name. For example, let's put "Test Product for

[02:39] YouTube Video." This is just an explanation of what your product is about. If I'm not mistaken, there's a minimum number of characters you have to write. For example, here I'm going to

[02:52] move on to the next step. This is a test product created to is a test product created to explain within a YouTube video tutorial on how to create and sell your first digital product on

[03:08] Hotmart. I'm short on characters; there's a minimum of 200, so here I have to write a little more. I'm writing this paragraph just to reach the minimum number of characters. Then we have to select the product language, the

[03:24] language in which your product will be offered. In English, in Spanish, in another language. In this case, we select Spanish. Main country of sales: here you have to select the country where you are located. This doesn't mean you

[03:36] 'll only make sales within that country; you can select any country here, but you will make international sales to any country. This is product configuration. In this case, I'm going to put Uruguay. But if I

[03:50] sell it to any country, not just Uruguay. Let's make that clear. Then, here in your product image, you have to upload a logo for your product. If you already have a logo for your product, you can upload it. For example, here I have a product

[04:04] has nothing to do with what we put here, but I'll leave it there just for explanation purposes. Here in product category, if it's a product about health and sports, you select that option: finance,

[04:17] investments, relationships, business and career, education, etc. Here in this example, but there you select the category in which your Here in currency, we have to select which currency it will be

[04:32] dollar because it's a more international currency, and since you'll be selling internationally, it's better to select US dollars. Regarding the guarantee period for refunds, if your customers buy, it's your responsibility to offer a

[05:38] we can choose installments so our customer can pay for our product in several installments. The downside of selecting installment payments is option, our customer pays the installments, and we receive the amounts

[05:52] of each installment monthly. If our product costs $50 and we select the option for customers to pay in six installments, and the customer makes the purchase in six installments, the first month we will

[06:05] the following month we will receive the second installment in our account, and then the third. So we won't receive the full value. With my using the installment payment option; I'm always using cash. But

[06:19] again, it's up to you to select the best option for you. And here, you'll this case, I'm just going to simulate entering a value of $20. Including taxes in the price means that on the payment page, the

[08:09] recorded. I recommend you watch this video. After watching this video, and well, we'll continue here, we're going to add the content, those classes, to our product. So we're going to go here to Add content. After

[08:23] selecting this option, obviously another window will load, which is the Hotmart members' area, better known as Hotmart Club. It's in this section where we're going to create the modules and classes of the course. The

[08:36] first thing you'll see is this. I recommend you review all these review it one by one to learn how this tool works. But basically, to add the course content, we

[08:49] first have to create a module that I can call Welcome to the Course. Here we're going to module—in this case, it's a first welcome module—we come here, add, and add content. So here we put the welcome video, and to

[09:05] Club, within the members' area, we have to enable this option, which is the Hotmart Player option. We click here, and Hotmart, to give us the tells us that we have to pay for each sale we make. They're going to

[11:08] Continue registration." After clicking Clicking that button will bring up this screen where you can make the final adjustments to your product. Again, I suggest you review each of these options one by one. The idea isn't to

[11:21] go into all of this because there's a lot to cover, but if you review each of forgot to add any information about your product, or you can review it. You can edit this information. "Price and Offers" is where you'll see the price

[11:35] of your product and the warranty period you've chosen. "Course Management" is where you manage the modules and classes. If you click here on " Manage the course with Hotmart," it will load the screen we were on

[11:48] before, the Hotmart Club screen. " Product Page" is where you need a sales page for your digital product. You'll add your sales page here in the " External Page" option. If you have a URL, you would add your sales page here

[12:02] where you'll promote your product. If you do n't have a sales page, you can use a generic page created by Hotmart, which I don't recommend in this case because it doesn't usually work very well. If you have an external page, that's

[13:48] Hotmart has up to five business days to review and approve your product. It usually takes less than five days; it's usually between two and three days for them to test and approve your product. You'll then have your
