Is AI Dropshipping Really a Money Printer?
35sThe opening skepticism vs hype grabs attention and makes viewers want to see if the claims are real.
▶ Play ClipThe video tests the viability of AI dropshipping by building a store from scratch in 24 hours with strict rules: under $100 budget, 60-minute setup, and only a laptop and iPhone. The creator uses AI tools for store building, product research, and ad creation, ultimately generating $188.98 in revenue with a $52 profit. The experiment proves that while AI accelerates setup, success still requires effort and strategy.
The challenge required under $100 in expenses, store built in under 60 minutes, and only a laptop and iPhone.
An AI store builder generated a Shopify store structure quickly, with AutoDS as the pre-installed supplier.
A custom ChatGPT prompt was used to find a winning product based on viral momentum, emotional appeal, and profit validation.
The chosen product was a neck and shoulder massager, costing $25 USD on AliExpress and sold for $70 USD, yielding almost 3x margin.
AI UGC ads were created using Ark Ads and edited with CapCut, then launched on Facebook with broad targeting.
After 24 hours, the store made $188.98 in revenue from three sales, with total expenses of $137, resulting in a $52 profit.
"The title accurately reflects the challenge, but the modest profit ($52) contrasts with the hype of 'printing money' in the intro."

Product Selection Mistake
Highlights a common beginner error: choosing products based on personal preference rather than market demand.
02:42Custom ChatGPT Prompt for Product Research
Demonstrates a practical AI application for data-driven product selection.
03:5524-Hour Profit Results
Provides concrete evidence that AI dropshipping can generate profit quickly, albeit modestly.
13:22Leveraged vs. Passive Income
Clarifies that dropshipping requires upfront work and is not truly passive.
13:02[00:00] Everywhere I look right now, someone's
[00:01] claiming AI drop shipping is printing
[00:04] money. 500 a day, thousands a month,
[00:06] completely passive.
[00:08] >> able to make hundreds of thousands of
[00:09] dollars with AI.
[00:10] >> I've made millions of dollars with drop
[00:12] shipping.
[00:12] >> More high six figures.
[00:13] >> 1.1 million dollars in drop shipping.
[00:15] >> Hundreds of dollars a day from this side
[00:17] hustle.
[00:18] >> 500 dollars a day working from home.
[00:20] >> 600,000 dollars this month alone.
[00:23] >> was that easy, I mean, come on. Everyone
[00:25] would already be rich. Look, I've
[00:27] already made millions with e-com, but
[00:29] I've also watched thousands of people
[00:31] lose money chasing shiny objects and
[00:33] getting sold on get rich quick schemes.
[00:36] So, in this video, instead of just
[00:37] talking to you about AI drop shipping,
[00:40] let's actually take this money making
[00:42] scheme and put it to the test over the
[00:44] next 24 hours. But since I'm not a
[00:46] beginner myself, it's only fair if we
[00:48] put some rules or restrictions on me
[00:51] here. Rule number one, this whole thing
[00:53] has to cost me less than a hundred
[00:55] dollars in expenses. Rule two, the store
[00:57] has to be built in less than 60 minutes.
[01:00] And rule three, the only tools that I
[01:02] can use will be my laptop and iPhone.
[01:05] And no, I can't use any of my personal
[01:07] connections or anything like that
[01:08] either. So, if this doesn't work under
[01:10] those three rules, then I'll admit
[01:13] beginners should not be touching [music]
[01:14] this business model. All right, so the
[01:16] timer starts now, and we've got three
[01:18] main things to do here. Firstly, we have
[01:19] to set up our store, then we'll be
[01:21] selecting our product, and then creating
[01:23] and launching ads. I think that's pretty
[01:24] much it. Now, for the first step,
[01:26] creating the store itself, this is where
[01:28] AI should be saving us a boatload of
[01:30] time. And this tool right here will
[01:32] generate you a Shopify store structure
[01:34] fast. No inventory, no shipping
[01:36] headaches. When somebody places an
[01:38] order, your supplier will fulfill it
[01:40] automatically when you set up your
[01:42] [music] store using this tool. And the
[01:43] process is dead simple, and it's not
[01:45] going to cost us anything apart from one
[01:48] dollar a month to actually be on
[01:50] Shopify.
[01:50] >> [music]
[01:50] >> So, if you want to follow along, just
[01:52] head down to the description and click
[01:53] on the first link, which is going to be
[01:55] the free AI store builder link. So,
[01:57] it'll take you to this page that you see
[01:58] me on right now. And after running
[02:00] through a couple of quick questions here
[02:02] and just connecting a couple of things,
[02:03] we're pretty much done. Which is so
[02:05] crazy cuz back when I first started drop
[02:07] shipping, to get store templates like
[02:09] these, it would cost at least 300 bucks
[02:12] plus all the apps and features that it
[02:13] already includes would be easily another
[02:15] $200 cuz you have to buy them
[02:17] separately. But now it's all free and
[02:19] it's all combined in one tool that
[02:21] completely does everything for you. And
[02:23] it already comes pre-installed with Auto
[02:25] DS as your supplier. All right. So, the
[02:27] store we got here is also fully loaded
[02:29] with some pretty good products [music]
[02:30] and everything's technically ready to go
[02:32] live. But again, if it were that easy,
[02:34] then everyone would be rich, surely. So,
[02:37] let's at least spend a little bit of
[02:38] time selecting our own product that we
[02:40] want to use for this challenge. [music]
[02:42] Now, you see, most beginners select
[02:44] their products and niches based on what
[02:46] they think they would buy. And [music]
[02:48] that's how you lose money because think
[02:50] about it. Just because you are here
[02:52] binging how to make money online
[02:54] challenges on YouTube, it doesn't mean
[02:56] that the majority of people watching
[02:58] YouTube wouldn't prefer to go watch a
[03:00] Mr. Beast video instead. Now, the same
[03:02] rule applies for people who are buying
[03:03] products. You don't just choose your
[03:05] product only based on what you already
[03:08] like. Instead, [music]
[03:09] you need a product pick the product
[03:10] based on what's selling well right now.
[03:12] Mass demand, impulse buyers, and endless
[03:15] product [music] angles, that's the main
[03:17] criteria that I'm looking for. Now, in
[03:19] the past, my go-to method has been to
[03:21] jump on TikTok and just start scrolling
[03:23] until I find viral products. Then I
[03:25] would go and check the Meta Ads library,
[03:27] which is free online put out by
[03:29] Facebook. And it basically allows you to
[03:31] scroll tons of different high-performing
[03:33] ads from all the different companies
[03:34] that are advertising on Facebook. I
[03:36] would make sure that there's other
[03:37] competitors selling that product well,
[03:39] and I would get a ton of inspiration
[03:41] from the ads that they are running. And
[03:43] look, that method still works great, but
[03:44] given our serious self-imposed time
[03:46] limit here, we need something better,
[03:48] something faster. Now, I'm still
[03:50] building e-commerce brands to this day,
[03:52] so my team and I have come up with
[03:53] [music] a special product research
[03:55] prompt. And all you have to do is feed
[03:57] this prompt into Chat GPT or Claude. All
[04:00] right, so here's what the prompt looks
[04:01] [music] like just in case you wanted to
[04:03] see. But literally all you have to do is
[04:05] copy all of it and just go ahead and
[04:07] paste it into [music] Chat GPT. And
[04:09] after using this prompt myself, I
[04:11] eventually narrowed down my search
[04:12] [music] to this one product that I
[04:14] thought would be perfect product for
[04:16] this challenge. Just to read you the
[04:17] context quickly of what you're feeding
[04:19] to Chat GPT, we're basically saying,
[04:21] "Hey Chat GPT, you're building a drop
[04:23] shipping product research bot with one
[04:25] singular purpose. You need to identify
[04:27] winning products and provide compelling
[04:29] evidence for why they will make money.
[04:31] The bot must provide working Auto DS and
[04:33] AliExpress links to actual products, not
[04:36] just some generic search instructions or
[04:38] incorrect URLs. [music]
[04:39] Each product recommendation must
[04:41] demonstrate thorough market research
[04:43] including viral momentum, emotional
[04:45] appeal, trend data, pain points, and
[04:47] profit validation." It's really crazy
[04:49] how far AI has come today. Not only do
[04:51] we give it the context, we can give it
[04:53] its role and make sure it's stepping
[04:55] into the right personality to actually
[04:57] find these products. This prompt
[04:58] basically ensures that you're going to
[05:00] get the most high-quality
[05:01] >> [music]
[05:01] >> data-backed trending winning products
[05:03] off of Chat GPT than you'd be able to
[05:06] with any other simple prompt. All right,
[05:08] so I've decided to call this the Velixa
[05:10] neck and shoulder massager. I know, I
[05:12] probably could have been a little more
[05:13] creative with the name there, but I
[05:14] think it works and it fits with sort of
[05:16] the clean and minimalistic approach I
[05:18] took landing page. So we have a few
[05:21] super clean AI product images here, and
[05:24] as you guys can see, you want a couple
[05:25] nice close-up shots of the product
[05:27] itself. Before and afters for these
[05:29] types of products tend to work very well
[05:31] as well, and then just simply showing
[05:33] somebody happy and using the product
[05:35] while giving a few benefit-driven points
[05:38] is usually what I like to go for for
[05:39] clean and simple product images like
[05:41] these. Now you can see I've also done a
[05:42] little upsell here, so if you buy two,
[05:44] you end up saving a little bit more
[05:46] money, and you'd be surprised at how
[05:47] many people are doing this. If people
[05:49] find a great product that they want,
[05:50] chances are they're thinking about
[05:52] buying one for their friend or family
[05:53] member as well. And so, even just
[05:55] offering bundles with more quantities of
[05:58] the same product is a great place to
[06:00] start for increasing your average order
[06:02] value. And you can even do this off the
[06:04] rip very easily on any product test.
[06:06] Now, down here I have a couple of
[06:07] different trust badges, the
[06:09] specifications. We went with a 14-day
[06:11] money-back guarantee, basically ensuring
[06:13] that if you're not 100% satisfied, you
[06:15] can simply ask for a refund and we'll
[06:17] send you your money back. Now, in terms
[06:18] of shipping, we just tell people when
[06:20] they can expect their order, and this is
[06:21] pretty standard with AutoDS. AutoDS has
[06:24] some of the best shipping in the game,
[06:25] and even though we say our current
[06:27] shipping times are between 5 to 9
[06:28] business days, it usually gets there a
[06:30] lot faster. But, we do this
[06:32] strategically so that the customers can
[06:33] feel even better when they get their
[06:35] product faster than they were expecting.
[06:37] Now, for the rest of the product page,
[06:38] we just have a couple of GIFs of the
[06:40] product in action and people enjoying it
[06:42] and using it. Instead of giving people
[06:44] all the technical specifications, we
[06:46] like to tell them the end outcome or the
[06:48] result of what happens when they buy our
[06:50] product, such as making their body
[06:52] calmer. When you focus on the benefits
[06:54] or the outcome instead of just selling
[06:56] the features and the technicalities,
[06:58] this is what really drives people to
[07:00] actually make a purchase. And then
[07:02] finally, for the last section, we have a
[07:03] few different AI videos of testimonials
[07:06] from previous happy customers. And I
[07:08] know, these aren't real, of course, but
[07:10] hey, you got to start somewhere if
[07:12] you're a brand new business owner. And
[07:13] down here, we just have a few frequently
[07:15] asked questions. I figured this out by
[07:17] asking ChatGPT what customers would
[07:19] naturally ask next before buying a
[07:21] product like this, and then just
[07:23] ensuring that people have all the
[07:24] information they need before making the
[07:27] purchase. Now, here's the AliExpress
[07:28] listing for the product. As you can see,
[07:31] it's $35 Canadian, which is about $25
[07:34] USD, and I plan on selling this thing
[07:36] for $70 USD. So, that gives me a super
[07:39] nice, almost 3x margin. [music] And the
[07:41] great thing about this product as well
[07:43] is it has such a high perceived value
[07:45] because it is kind of a tech [music]
[07:47] product. You know, it has an electronic
[07:49] component, you have to charge it, and
[07:51] people really assume that these types of
[07:53] products [music] are worth hundreds of
[07:54] dollars or more. So, the perceived value
[07:57] on it is so much higher than the actual
[07:59] cost that we're charging. [music] On top
[08:00] of that, we can see the AliExpress
[08:02] listing has tons of great reviews from
[08:04] thousands of different [music] people
[08:06] and over 5,000 units sold.
[08:08] >> Perhaps the most beautiful thing about
[08:09] AI drop shipping is that once you know
[08:12] what your product is going to be, in
[08:13] literally one click, you can paste it
[08:15] into AutoDS and it will show up on your
[08:17] store ready to go. On top of that, you
[08:20] don't even need to manage the product
[08:21] yourself. Orders will be double-checked
[08:23] for quality, shipped out on time,
[08:25] tracking emails will be sent to new
[08:26] customers, all using AutoDS's new AI
[08:29] features. It's pretty much a cheat code
[08:31] for starting drop shipping today, and
[08:33] it's basically like having multiple
[08:34] employees all working on your business
[08:36] except this will literally only cost you
[08:38] $1 a month to get started. So, yeah,
[08:40] AutoDS has completely revolutionized the
[08:42] drop shipping game, and the best part is
[08:44] that when you use Build Your Store, all
[08:46] of this automatically gets connected
[08:47] [music] to your Shopify store anyway.
[08:49] But, I'll leave another link in the
[08:50] description just in case you ever need
[08:52] to reconnect it to AutoDS. Now comes the
[08:54] fun part. We need to get people to get
[08:57] onto [music] our store and buy our
[08:58] product. And the best and fastest way to
[09:00] do that is with paid [music] ads. Not
[09:02] any kind of paid ads though, but AI UGC
[09:05] ads. Now, if you're wondering what in
[09:06] the hell I just said, or if that was
[09:08] even still English, all I'm saying here
[09:09] is that AI can now create fake humans to
[09:13] advertise for us. And honestly, it's
[09:15] getting a bit out of hand, but hey, at
[09:16] least you and I can profit from it. All
[09:18] right, so what I'll do now is I'll grab
[09:19] content straight from AutoDS of the
[09:21] [music] product, and I'll also check
[09:23] some other royalty-free sites on the
[09:24] internet. And then I'll fire up Ark Ads
[09:26] to create my fake human [music] to say
[09:28] nice things about the product. I'll be
[09:30] linking Ark Ads in the description so
[09:31] you can check them out, too. Now,
[09:33] obviously, there'll be some level of
[09:34] manual work here. We'll add some b-roll
[09:36] clips, some music, [music] and overall
[09:38] make these ads look nice. And this is
[09:40] really easy to do nowadays. You can
[09:42] literally use CapCut on your iPhone and
[09:44] follow the basic instructions when you
[09:46] download the app to edit the video how
[09:48] you wish in just a few clicks. But, if
[09:50] you've seen any of my previous
[09:51] challenges, you guys would know I'm
[09:53] super lazy with this stuff, so I
[09:54] actually already got my influencer
[09:56] girlfriend working on these ads for me.
[09:58] Don't worry, if you don't have an
[09:59] influencer girlfriend yet, the blueprint
[10:01] [music] is actually quite simple. Just
[10:02] make millions drop shipping, and then
[10:04] just drop ship your girl friend from
[10:05] some exotic part of the planet. I'm
[10:07] completely kidding, by the way. So, here
[10:08] are some ads that we just cooked up. All
[10:10] right, so now all we have left to do is
[10:12] to go ahead and launch these ads on the
[10:14] most goated ad platform ever, our hero
[10:16] and savior, Facebook. [music] Because
[10:18] nothing ever goes wrong on Meta. Now,
[10:20] I'm going to have the screen recording
[10:22] of me setting up these ads rolling just
[10:24] in case you want to see the exact
[10:25] structure of what we're doing, but
[10:27] basically I'm keeping things super
[10:29] broad, and I'm leaving Meta's algorithm
[10:31] to do all the heavy lifting for us.
[10:33] [music] Anyone who tries to sell you on
[10:35] some fancy or flashy ad strategy is
[10:37] completely [music] capping because in
[10:39] today's day and age, this platform has
[10:41] generated an unfathomable amount of data
[10:44] on its users, which means that it can
[10:45] target your ideal customers a lot better
[10:48] than you think that you can. So, if you
[10:50] want to spend some time optimizing
[10:52] before launching, definitely don't spend
[10:54] your time in the ads manager trying to
[10:56] make the perfect [music] ad strategy.
[10:57] Instead, just focus on making your ads
[11:00] better. Put more thought into the
[11:02] editing [music] process behind the
[11:03] creatives. Put more thought into the
[11:05] clip selection. This is what's going to
[11:07] take you farther and make you more
[11:09] money, rather than thinking there's some
[11:11] magic ad strategy that will make you
[11:13] millions. Just like that, everything is
[11:15] set up and ready [music] to go live at
[11:16] midnight tonight. So, with all that
[11:18] being said, I will see you guys in 24
[11:20] hours, well, 23 hours from now for the
[11:23] results. All right, guys, it's the next
[11:24] day, and when I woke up this morning, I
[11:27] honestly wasn't too pleased because I
[11:30] didn't see any results, but then
[11:32] bang, we just got a sale 2 minutes ago.
[11:36] As you can see, $70. So, looks like a
[11:39] single order just rolled through, but
[11:40] hey, off to a good start and we have a
[11:42] few more hours left. So, hopefully we
[11:44] can get another one or two in the door
[11:45] before this challenge ends. Quick
[11:47] update, it turns out the last sale that
[11:49] we got was literally 20 minutes into the
[11:52] ads going live. Sometimes, guys, the ads
[11:54] are in review for a long time on
[11:56] Facebook before they finally go live.
[11:57] So, the good news was we literally spent
[11:59] $9 to acquire that customer and now we
[12:02] have a double order that just came
[12:04] through. Check this out, $118
[12:08] double order. I I was expecting a lot
[12:10] more struggle because I just did a 7-day
[12:12] challenge and it went horribly. So, I'm
[12:14] looking forward to more smooth sailing
[12:16] and when I go over the final results
[12:17] this time, hopefully we can prove that
[12:19] drop shipping is not dead and in fact
[12:22] now is literally the best time and the
[12:24] easiest time to start. Well, just like
[12:27] that, the challenge is officially over.
[12:30] But look, before I go over the results,
[12:31] listen, the money we made in this
[12:32] challenge, it won't knock your socks
[12:34] off. It's not exactly life-changing or
[12:36] anything, but man, it was fun and it
[12:38] takes me back to when everything first
[12:41] started for me with drop shipping. The
[12:43] only difference today is that with the
[12:44] AI tools that we have available, things
[12:47] are 10 times easier and you saw how
[12:49] quickly I set everything up. And [music]
[12:51] on top of that, the fact that we
[12:52] actually made money in less than 24
[12:55] hours should give you all the proof of
[12:57] concept that you need to get out there
[12:58] and at least try this for yourself. And
[13:00] I get it, this isn't exactly passive
[13:02] income, but it is leveraged income. You
[13:05] know, we set this up once [music] and
[13:07] the money rolled in while I was going
[13:08] about my day. And the AI tools that we
[13:10] used, you know, they don't replace doing
[13:13] the work [music] itself or even the
[13:14] thinking behind it, but they certainly
[13:16] help us get everything rolling way
[13:18] faster. So, with that being said, we
[13:20] brought in a grand total [music] of
[13:22] $188.98.
[13:24] We sold three units and for the [music]
[13:27] cost of the units plus shipping that's
[13:29] about $75. Now the fees and the
[13:31] subscriptions so the $1 a month for
[13:33] Shopify and AutoDS adds up to about $5
[13:36] and actually on the ads we only spent
[13:38] $57. So [music] we actually spent a
[13:41] little bit less than that $100 budget to
[13:43] even make these three sales. So all in
[13:45] all total revenue $189 total expenses
[13:49] $137.
[13:50] We actually came out in the green $52
[13:53] and I'd say that given the time that we
[13:55] had and the restrictions that I put on
[13:56] myself I'd consider this a success. Now
[13:59] if you guys want to see a part two where
[14:01] I scale this properly, you know, more
[14:02] time [music]
[14:03] more traffic, more testing, I'm happy to
[14:05] do it for you but only if you guys want
[14:08] to see reality, not hype. Because I can
[14:10] almost guarantee you that, you know,
[14:12] we're not going to make tens of
[14:14] thousands of dollars overnight and if I
[14:16] do this for a lot longer we will
[14:17] struggle. will go wrong but, you
[14:19] know, just maybe if we don't give up we
[14:21] can make [music] some money and some
[14:23] bigger money next time around. So Now I
[14:25] also said earlier in this video that if
[14:27] you made it to the end I'd give you a
[14:28] gift. So if you go to the description
[14:30] and you check the last link you'll see a
[14:32] resource pack including the winning
[14:33] product prompts, build your store,
[14:35] discount codes and everything else we
[14:37] used to make this challenge possible.
[14:39] And also if you happen to enjoy watching
[14:41] me struggle I did attempt another
[14:42] [music] 7-day AI dropshipping challenge
[14:44] that you can watch up here and with that
[14:46] being said I'll see you guys in the next
[14:48] video. [music] Peace.
