AI Summary

The video demonstrates how to select and copy traders on Bybit's copy trading platform, testing three different categories (classic, chart, and pro) with $100 each to evaluate their performance over one month. The host emphasizes key metrics like Sharpe ratio, drawdown, and profit-to-loss ratio over simple P&L when choosing traders.

[00:02]
Bybit Copy Trading Overview

Bybit offers three copy trading types: classic (crypto), chart (forex, indices, commodities), and pro (strategies by experienced traders). The host plans to test three traders in each category with $100 each.

[00:41]
Mistakes in Selecting Traders

Many people choose traders based solely on P&L, which is incorrect. Important metrics include Sharpe ratio (should be above 50), maximum drawdown (should be below 10%), and profit-to-loss ratio.

[01:54]
Selecting Traders in Trafy

The host filters traders by ROE, drawdown, and Sharpe ratio. For example, 'Steady Rise' has 86% ROE, 3.72% max drawdown, and Sharpe ratio 70, making it a good candidate despite few followers.

[03:05]
Evaluating Trader Details

Clicking on a trader reveals more info: profit-to-loss ratio, win rate, number of followers, and margin level. A profit-to-loss ratio below 1 (e.g., 0.78) is risky, and a very low ratio (0.1) can blow an account.

[04:53]
Final Trader Selection

The host selects three traders: Tokyo London New York, Steady Rise, and Goodness. Goodness has a 1.2 profit-to-loss ratio and 60% win rate; Steady Rise has 40% win rate but high profit-to-loss ratio.

[05:23]
Copying a Trader with Settings

To copy, click 'copy', set investment (minimum $100), trailing stop-loss (20%), take profit (leave as is), and stop-loss amount (based on max drawdown, set to 20% of investment).

[06:59]
Classic Copy Trading Selection

In classic, the host selects 'Money Lover' with an impressive profit-to-loss ratio and 'Other Block Hunter' (using a bot) with $100 each.

[07:57]
Pro Copy Trading Strategy

Pro requires investing in strategies. NAV indicates return (e.g., 1.21 means $100 became $121). Locked strategies are full; invest only in those with 'invest now'. 7-day ROI of 0 means no recent activity.

The host will reveal the results after 7 days in the community section, and the best-performing traders will receive $1,000 each. The key takeaway is to use multiple metrics beyond P&L to select traders and start with small investments to test performance.

[00:02] each to trade for me to see how much they will make in one month. We will do this on Bybit. On the Bybit homepage, click on copy trading. Bybit has three

[00:15] types of copy trading. You have the classic. This is where you want to copy traders that are trading cryptocurrencies. [music] Then chart if you want to copy traders trading forex, indices, and commodities. And we also

[00:29] have pro. This is where you want to invest in strategies created by experienced traders. So let's pick three traders in this categories and invest in

[00:41] them. There's mistakes people make when they come to a copy trading platform. their decision based on the trader's P&L. If you're doing this, you are doing

[00:53] it wrong. There are other things to consider including the sharp ratio, the draw down and [music] the profit to risk ratio. All this combined plus most importantly how to copy the trader correctly [music] is what is going to

[01:08] we'll start by looking at how to select a good trader to copy. You will watch me as I do it [music] and we then copy that trader correctly. This will include the settings such as a stop-loss, trading

[01:23] stop-loss, take profit. How do you set all these? Let us start with Trafy. By bit has done a good job already to put them into categories. So you have all traders. If you want to see all the traders, you have leaderboard putting

[01:39] categories including the top balance traders overall. Then we then have the highest followers profit, top ROE, followers profit, top ROE, top new talent, top rising pairs.

[01:54] I'm going to go back to the top balance traders. traders. And looking at this, I'm looking at ROE And looking at this, I'm looking at ROE for steady rise. ROE [music] is 86%.

[02:07] Maximum draw down is 3.72. If a trader has a maximum draw down of 10, I'm not going to copy that trader. And you can see the sharp ratio where is And you can see the sharp ratio where is here is 70. If a trader has a sharp

[02:22] ratio of less than 50, I will not copy that trader. So the sharp ratio must be 50 above. So for steady rise, even though he has just one person copying his trade, I'm going to click on him. If I click on him, I can see other

[02:37] information. But for now, let's go back. What I need to do now is to click on this star here to add him to my favorites. So again, we are selecting traders to later come back to. The next one is paying zone. I'm going to add

[02:51] him. So now I have added a bunch of traders to my favorites. It's time to filter them out to see the one that worth copying and not worth copying. To do this, I'm going to click on the trader himself. Now

[03:05] click expand to get more information. And so this trader arrow is 128. It is And so this trader arrow is 128. It is okay. Trading for 49 days. Uh margin level is shown. [music] Number of followers 22. Profit to loss ratio is 1

[03:19] is [music] to1. This trader is okay even though the win rate is really high which looks kind of unrealistic but generally he's okay. So this is fine. Tokyo London

[03:32] he's okay. So this is fine. Tokyo London New York. Let's look at the next person. New York. Let's look at the next person. The next one is SNR trader. This trader the profit to loss ratio is 0.78 [music]

[03:45] is below one. I really don't want to consider those below one but is okay to consider those below one but is okay to keep an eye on him. Then steady steady keep an eye on him. Then steady steady have 321 person copying his traits which

[03:57] [music] But the thing is that he has lost a lot of money for his traders. So I'm not about to copy this guy to lose my money. Now look at the profit to loss my money. Now look at the profit to loss ratio. That is 0.1. This is so small.

[04:11] This guy can practically blow your account. So for this kind of trader, the profit to loss ratio is already a ton of for me even though he has a good number of people copying his trade. So I'm not copying this trader. As a matter of

[04:25] fact, I'm going to start him so he leaves my favorites. though he has made a lot of money for his [music] followers, you can see the P&L. Again, the profit to loss ratio is really small, this may mean that [music]

[04:40] really small, this may mean that [music] it's a bot and you might pay a lot in [music] transaction fee copying this trader. So, I'm going to uncheck him. So, at the end of the day, I have three traders here. Tokyo, London, New York,

[04:53] Steady Rise, and [music] goodness. So what I would do is to copy goodness. So what I would do is to copy two of them. So goodness has a profit to loss ratio of 1.2. So I'm going to copy goodness. Overall

[05:08] it looks clean. It doesn't look like a bot. 60% win rate is good. bot. 60% win rate is good. Steady rise has a 40% win rate. Profit Steady rise has a 40% win rate. Profit to loss ratio is high and it has zero

[05:23] follower. Then we have Tokyo, London, New York. So I want to copy Tokyo, London, New York. [music] And goodness. So to copy, I simply click on copy here. Minimum investment is $100. So I said I'm going to put $1,000,

[05:39] but I need to test these traders first. I'm not about to give them $1,000 to lose. So let's start with $100. Afterwards, the good trader will test for 7 days and I come back and put more money into that

[05:53] particular trader. So, now that you have entered the investment amount, make sure your [music] money is in your buy beat fund account. So, I've entered the investment amount here. Minimum is $100 and that is what I have here. The next

[06:06] and that is what I have here. The next thing is trilling stop-loss. [music] So, I'm going to leave my trailing So, I'm going to leave my trailing stop-loss as 20%. Take profit. I don't

[06:18] do anything here. I just leave it the way it is. And stop loss amount. To know what my stop loss amount will be, I need to check what the maximum draw down here to check what the maximum draw down here is. Maximum draw down is zero, which is

[06:31] looks really impossible. [music] So my stop-loss amount, I'm also going to stop-loss amount, I'm also going to leave it at 20, which is also 20% of my leave it at 20, which is also 20% of my $100 investment. So click [music] on

[06:44] $100 investment. So click [music] on um I have agreed and click on copy. I already do the same thing for goodness. So now let's go to classic and do the same thing. So I invested in two traders in chart five. Let's go to classic and

[06:59] do the same thing. I'll go ahead and mark the top traders. You will see here that the sharp ratio is different [music] from the way the sharp ratio is represented in the trap file. This guy has a draw down of 32%.

[07:15] So I'm not touching him at all. Now the good thing with the crypto traders is that if they are using a bot, you know that a bot is being used for this [music] You'll see here that other block

[07:28] hunter is actually using a bot. But anyway, I'll go ahead and copy with $100 anyway, I'll go ahead and copy with $100 to see how that works. Money lover has an impressive profit to loss ratio. This is crazy. So, I'm going to go ahead and

[07:42] is crazy. So, I'm going to go ahead and copy Money Lover with $100. And I'm going to click on copy. So, I've copied two traders under classic, two traders under Trafy. Let's look at the pro [music] again. A pro is you want to

[07:57] pro [music] again. A pro is you want to invest in a strategy. So I have actually gone ahead to start some strategy. I think it's this one. And I'll just go strategy. The minimum [music] investment

[08:10] strategy. The minimum [music] investment here is $1,000. So let's choose another here is $1,000. So let's choose another strategy. So here you will see what is called NAV NAV [music] in the middle. This

[08:22] NAV NAV [music] in the middle. This 1.21. This means that when this strategy 1.21. This means that when this strategy went live, you invested $100, you'll went live, you invested $100, you'll have made $121.

[08:37] that's what the nav means. You can see the minimum investment [music] beside the strategy. If an investment shows locked like this one that has a padlock, it simply means you cannot invest in that strategy at

[08:51] this time. It's practically full. You can only invest in the ones that [music] says invest now. And if you look beside it, you will see the 7 days ROI. If you

[09:03] it, you will see the 7 days ROI. If you say 000, it's major mainly means that in the past 7 days, that strategy has practically not been working. But most of this strategy here actually in the negative [music] in the

[09:16] past 7 days. Okay, guys. We just end up waiting for the result of the classic and the third fight to see who the winner is. And whoever the winner is winner is. And whoever the winner is will go ahead and give it $1,000 in each

[09:29] category to trade with. If you enjoy this video, let me know in the comment section if you want me [music] to make more videos like this. So, this copy trade on by bit, both classic and stratfire. I will show you the result of

[09:42] [music] this traits after 7 days in the community section here on YouTube. Now, if you want to copy my traits the way you see it here on Bybead, just stay you see it here on Bybead, just stay subscribed. That is coming
