I Tested the World's Craziest Instruments!

[00:01] know which instruments sound the best and which ones are the most fun to play. These instruments are actually insane. Like this lightsaber that has a built-in synthesizer or the world's smallest violin. One of the instruments even

[04:45] across a company called Brand New Noise. happen to be based in Dallas. So, we're made it to Brand New Noise here in Dallas. This is Richard. He actually owns the shop and makes all of the crazy instruments here. I'm super excited to

[04:59] check everything out. Awesome. Let's take a look. This guy is my newest Reverse the Curse. So, that is a sick name. that is a sick name. So, you've got Hey, let's see how this

[06:56] two squishy buttons at the top, and you have your arpeggiator. So, if you put your finger on a chord, but this bigger squishy button right but this bigger squishy button right here actually does full strums.

[07:12] activate it by pressing this button and the three buttons down here. So, you can the three buttons down here. So, you can do really cool sounds like this.

[07:27] Super sick. If I hit this middle button, it will start playing drums and then you can play along. [Music]

[07:43] seen all year. It's so different from a normal guitar. This thing is pretty crazy. This is a musical Tesla coil. I've never seen one in person. This is kind of cool. You can see all the components on the inside. I don't really

[07:56] together. I'm scared. I feel like Hey, I was think as I was screwing it on, I was like, this could start doing its thing. Hey, this thing's kind of scary,

[08:11] man. All right, so it's unplugged now, and we're going to insert the needle. Uh, that was a little scary. We tried inserting the needle while it was on and it started making gunshot sounds. This seems very dangerous. Okay, so we have

[08:23] the Tesla coil. Apparently, you can connect this to Bluetooth and play music down a little bit and get it kind of moody in here. Okay, so I just changed it to the little music part of the the switch. I'm going to load on a song.

[13:08] This is called an EWI. EWI stands for electronic wind instrument. This is such a cool device. It actually uses a breath controller just like a clarinet or an obo. I've used EWIs before, but I've never used the Roland Aerophone Go. This

[13:22] built-in speaker and a bunch of cool sounds. So, let's try it out. instrument, you can only play one sound. Like a clarinet plays clarinet sounds.

[13:42] sounds. So, I just played a flute. I can also play a [Music] I think that's actually a clarinet

[13:55] another sound. I think this is the string sound. [Music] That is so cool. [Music] I did not even mean to play that.

[14:14] random spot on here and there's a bunch of weird percussion. This is one of the coolest instruments I've seen. Okay, so this is the -ray by

[14:28] Embodi. I just plugged it in and now I see like this little keyboard. [Music] It's like this little keyboard and then some some buttons and like a fader right here. Wo, this is crazy. And it looks

[14:43] like there's all different kinds of instruments. It's so cool. Like ripples when you play it. That's cool.

[14:55] The texture is like a fabric. Like it's a really soft, smooth fabric that you can just like glide your finger on. And then you can also like tap it,

[15:07] which is really cool. And then you can actually like press down into it. [Music] [Applause] That is so satisfying. And I think you can even hold down multiple fingers.

[15:28] your own board, which is really cool. So, I actually made like a pixel art like Super Mushroom, and I added my own sound. So, when I click on the spots, [Laughter] it plays Super Mario sounds. And I even

[15:45] it plays Super Mario sounds. And I even have this. I was just messing around with it and made this super cool song.

[16:12] most futuristic instruments I've ever seen. This is the closest thing I have seen to a Venom symbiote. Okay, this thing is a ferrofluid audio visualizer. Okay, let's go ahead and turn this thing on and see what it does.

[27:44] But, I decided to print a giant one. I'm pretty sure this is the largest death whistle in the world. Let's try to blow into this one. The hole is way bigger That's all the breath in my lungs. But I have an idea. Okay, this might be a

[27:58] stupid idea, but we have a leaf blower. I'm going to try to leaf blow into this cuz my lungs just can't handle this. It's going to like blow out of my hand, man. All right, here we go. Three, two, one.

[28:17] god, that was so loud. I printed out a violin. The crazy thing about this violin is that the 3D printer printed off this whole entire body in one piece have to buy strings to put on the violin, but everything worked great and

[31:01] criticize. How do you play two? Hello. And to go along with the drums, I got maracas. These were actually really fun to print. They printed with the beads. So, they printed and then you

[31:16] just take it off and there's beads in there somehow magically.

[31:43] Anyways, it's pretty crazy the amount of percussion you can actually make with 3D printers. This is the tapophone. As you might have just saw, you just tap. You tap with this thing. It's 3D printed. It has a

[31:56] this thing. It's 3D printed. It has a really thin layer on the top. Hey, it kind of works like a pan flute, too. Look at that. That's pretty cool.

[32:20] insane 3D printed instrument you've ever seen. This is the Prussa.

[32:35] for anyone to print off at home. So in theory, you could print this guitar and even make this whole thing glow-in-the-dark. The like exoskeleton octagon design is just so cool. I have the perfect guitar cable to match this

[32:50] crazy guitar. And of course, we have our 3D printed guitar pick. Okay, we have the proof of hooked up to the amp. Let's crank this up. [Music] Ooh, this thing already sounds exciting.

[33:48] decided to buy every instrument on Tik Tok shop before it was gone forever. Holy crap, this thing gets huge. It's insane that all 88 keys are on here.

[34:03] Okay, let's see what sounds are on this thing. Oo, [Music] you know what this sounds just like?

[34:17] the comments. If you're actually trying to play piano on this, this is kind of difficult. I'm going to give the foldable piano four stars. I would give it more, but it's really hard to play, but it really does

[34:29] really hard to play, but it really does fold up into a small size. tock Shop was so cheap that I have to build it.

[34:41] Okay, that was such a pain to build. I had to screw in each one of these. And when I was actually tuning the strings, every time I would tune one of the strings, it would pull this plastic more and it would d-tune the rest of the

[34:53] strings. [Music] Oh, wo. You know, that kind of sounded like when you show like a Middle Eastern summer in like a show. No, never mind. Actually, this is the little tuning

[35:08] wrench that it came with. But whenever I tune this one, it makes this one loose. The noise is funny. This literally sounds like a horror movie. I feel like this is just going to pop and it's going to blind me. So, I'm

[35:21] going to rate this a one star. This sounds horrible. can keep time when you're playing music. Okay. Well, I'm going to put it on real

[35:35] comfortable. Like, I almost don't even feel it. It's not touchcreen. So, I feel it. It's not touchcreen. So, I think if I just press this button.
