Free Products? I Tested TryAndReview
45sThe promise of free products hooks viewers immediately, and the personal testing angle creates curiosity about whether it's legit.
▶ Play Clip"The title promises a test of the platform, and the video delivers exactly that—a thorough, honest review with practical details, though it could be shorter."
The video is a personal test of TryAndReview, a platform that claims to offer free products in exchange for reviews. The creator walks through the signup process, the types of products available, and the qualification requirements, concluding that while it can yield free items, it requires effort and has limited options.
The creator decided to test TryAndReview to see if it actually works or if it's hard to get selected for products.
The platform is available in multiple countries, but the exact number is confusing—30, 17, or 20 depending on where you look. Users can select their country from a flag in the top corner.
The site has annoying pop-up ads even before you join, which can be misleading as they look like instructions to start.
Inside the platform, there are products to review (not just test), including food, baby health, bath and body, and fragrance. Users can leave reviews for products they've used, even if not received as free samples.
To find tests, go to the 'test' option. Some countries have no tests available, and there's no notification when empty. Applying requires a qualification survey, and you may not be told if you don't qualify—assume rejection if no response within a week.
To qualify for more tests, you need to be active: write at least three product reviews per year, upload photos/videos, complete surveys, and link social media accounts.
The FAQ clearly states that selected testers receive items free of charge, including delivery. There are also 'buy and refund' campaigns where you buy a product and get refunded.
TryAndReview can provide free products occasionally, but it's hard to qualify, requires effort, and has limited options. It's best as an extra option, not a primary source.
TryAndReview is a legitimate but limited platform for getting free products, requiring active participation and patience. It's worth signing up as a bonus, but don't rely on it as your main source for free samples or income.

06:40[00:00] Have you ever seen websites that claim you can get free products just for testing and reviewing them? I recently came across a platform called TryAndReview where brands supposedly send you products to test and all you have to do in return is to share your opinion. But does it actually
[00:13] work or is it one of those platforms where it's almost impossible to get selected for anything? I decided to test it myself and in this video I will share all the details. In case you don't know,
[00:25] including things like service sites, get paid to platforms, and product testing opportunities like this one. And in this video, I'm going to show you exactly how TryAndReview works,
[00:37] how to sign up, what kind of products you can actually get, and some very important things you need to know before spending any time on it. Because while getting free products sounds great, platforms like this can sometimes be a bit different from what people expect. So,
[00:50] let's take a closer look at how try and review works and whether it's actually worth joining. So, let's start by going over who can join. And on the website, you can see in the top corner there's a
[01:02] flag and you can choose your country. So, these are the countries it's available in. However, it's a little bit confusing because on the website it says join the largest reviewer community in Asia, but clearly it's not only for Asia. It also has all these other countries. But then some places on
[01:17] platform it says it's available in 30 countries. Other places in FAQ section I found that it said it's 17 and on this list here it is 20. So it is a little bit confusing but definitely here in the
[01:29] top corner that's where you can find the countries' platforms. So it seems to be these countries you can currently join from even though it is a little bit confusing to be honest. And you can just join for free. Just be aware that even before you join, this is something is quite unusual for
[01:44] for a site like this. They have pop-up ads in the corner here. For example, activate your account. Three easy steps to start. This is actually an ad, really annoying ad because you probably think that, oh, this is how I need to get started. I really dislike they have these pop-ups
[01:58] before you have even started. But anyways, just wanted to point that out. Other than that, just ignore it. You can click to join for free. Then you just need to fill out your profile and then you can get started. So let me now log in and show you a little bit more about what type of products
[02:11] you can find here and how to potentially get them. So once you are inside you need to be aware that there are not only test here there's also products that you can review. So you can see all
[02:24] the products here and these are also the type of products you potentially can get free samples for free products or these type of products you can potentially get. You can see food, baby health, bath and body fragrance all these different ones. But they would also like you to actually
[02:37] leave reviews of them. Some of these different products if you have used them, not only if you have actually gotten them as free samples in here, but also if you have in general used them, you can come here and then leave reviews. There's not that many that have done it. Again, that
[02:51] depends on your country, but it is something you can do. And it is also something that will help you potentially qualify for more tests you can participate in, more free products you can get. We'll talk a little bit more about that later, but let's first go over how you can find these tests
[03:06] and how to apply. So, to find tests, you need to go to this test option. And in some countries, it just empty. And there's not even a notification where it says currently there are no tests. So, that's a little bit confusing. But you can see here, for example, I can just choose a
[03:21] different country here. And then you can see it actually shows the tests that are there. So, then you can get an idea about which type of products or tests there are in some countries. But as you can see in some countries there are not always some. So it's a little bit limited
[03:35] even though it says it's the one of the largest testing communities. So if there are none in your country there's nothing you can really do because it doesn't make sense to choose another country even though you can because they need to ship it to you. It doesn't make sense if you live
[03:48] in the US to apply for a product test that is only available in the Philippines or reverse or the other way around all these things. But anyways, if you find one that is available in your country, you would need to then go here and apply. So just because there is one, it doesn't mean that you're
[04:02] guaranteed to get this product. You need to go through this qualification survey and then wait. But you will not necessarily be told if you do not qualify. But in general, if you have not heard back from them within a week, then you can assume that you just did not qualify. But
[04:17] you can apply for several at the same time. So if there are any products you in general think could be interesting, then just apply for as many as possible. And then if you're lucky, you will get chosen. But also, I mentioned that there are not that many tests available, but there are actually
[04:31] something that you can do to potentially qualify for more tests. So, let's go over that next. So, to get a good chance of participating here, it's not enough to just go and apply for the test. They
[04:43] want you to be active to qualify for more test. And what does that then mean? Well, it for example means to write product reviews. I talked about that just a little while ago there that you can go and find all these products. So it doesn't have to be products that you have gotten from them. They
[04:57] expect you of course to leave reviews of the ones you get for free. But if you just come here and start leaving reviews, you are more active. That will give you better chances of qualifying for further tests. They do not say that it has to be a lot. They actually just recommend that it needs
[05:12] to be at least three reviews per year. So that's not a lot, but of course you also need to be sure that it's actually products you have used. But in my opinion, it's not difficult to do. For example, even just a few per month if you really want to do this because that will also significantly
[05:25] increase your chances. You can also upload photos and videos when you leave reviews. Uh you can complete surveys when they have them sometimes. And also in your profile, you can link your social media account. They say all this together will increase your chances of getting access to more
[05:39] free tests. So it does require quite a bit of work to potentially get some of these products. So just keep that in mind. But also I know that many will maybe be thinking what about shipping then do I then have to pay is it one of those sites where you get a product for free but then
[05:53] they charge a lot in shipping and all that. So let's just quickly clarify that also. So they talk about the shipping very clearly in the FAQ section and it says if you have been selected as a tester you will receive the item free of charge including delivery. And I really like that they
[06:10] make that very clear. So, it's not one of these trick platforms that just end up charging you more for shipping than the products is actually worth. Sometimes they do have what they call buy and refund campaigns and that basically means that then you would have to buy a product and then test
[06:25] it and then you will get the refund from them if you feel comfortable about that or not. That of course up to you to decide. But they sometimes do have that and that can give you more options. But overall, what you need to keep in mind, it's definitely can be a way to get some free products
[06:40] once in a while, but it can be hard to qualify. It does require some effort and there are not that many options from what I have seen while testing it. If you have tried it yourself or if you decide to try it, please share below how many options do you have and which country do you live in. I love
[06:55] hearing your experiences. So, please just share that below. But I would say if you like the type of products that you potentially can get here, why not sign up as an extra option, do not expect too much from it, but just apply once in a while if there's an interesting product for you. And
[07:08] if you then get it, it's just a nice bonus. But do not just count on this one as the only one. If you want to earn online or if you want free samples or or something like that because it's just not enough for that, but as an extra one, if you don't have too high expectations, then
[07:23] why not do it? It is free and they don't charge you for shipping and all that. But as mentioned, you should definitely make sure to use other platforms as well. I do have a list of the best product testing sites that I have come across. I will leave a link to that below. You can find that
[07:36] on my website so you can go and find some more options. If you prefer reading, I also do have a written review of TryAndReview on my website. I will also leave a link to that below. And if you in general just interested in making some extra money online where it's not just products,
