[00:00] Hi, I'm Hazel. It's Saturday today,

[00:02] which makes it time to sit down and

[00:04] catch up on what's going on in wow this

[00:07] week. We are right about it patch time.

[00:09] This upcoming weekly reset is bringing

[00:12] patch 12.0.7 to live servers. I've been

[00:15] having a lovely downtime in these last

[00:17] couple of weeks of this patch, but it is

[00:18] time for new content. Over the past

[00:20] couple of news videos, I have been

[00:21] talking about different things that are

[00:23] coming in the patch like the new raid,

[00:25] the omnium folio, heroic open world

[00:27] content with the new invasion point

[00:28] worlds. And in this video, I want to

[00:31] touch on a couple of the things that are

[00:32] either more recent updates to the PTR or

[00:34] that I haven't mentioned yet.

[00:36] First of all, I want to talk about the

[00:38] new things that are coming to wow

[00:39] housing in 1207. There are a couple of

[00:42] things in the 1207 notes about housing,

[00:45] and the big one is that you will be able

[00:48] to place lighting outdoors. Imagine a

[00:52] street lamp in your street. It is about

[00:56] time. This is something that has I think

[00:58] always been intended for you to be able

[01:00] to place, but they had to disable during

[01:02] development because of performance

[01:03] issues. And there are a couple of

[01:05] caveats. There's an asterisk here. The

[01:07] main one is that you cannot place lights

[01:10] too close together outdoors. They will

[01:12] become unplaceable if you are attempting

[01:14] to place them too near to each other. I

[01:16] believe to guard against some of those

[01:17] performance issues that were happening

[01:19] when people presumably made like giga in

[01:22] light balls on beta.

[01:24] However, as long as you space them out a

[01:26] little bit, it seems like we're going to

[01:27] be able to go nuts. Float some lanterns

[01:29] in your hot tub, put some string lights

[01:31] over your patio, maybe hide some candles

[01:33] in your garden.

[01:35] You know, it's not going to catch on

[01:36] fire. We have some phenomenal lighting

[01:38] objects for housing, and it'll be very

[01:40] nice next week to finally be able to

[01:41] place them outside. In service of that,

[01:44] another housing change coming in 1207 is

[01:46] that they are raising exterior decor

[01:48] limits. This is excellent news to

[01:50] anybody who has hit their decor cap when

[01:52] making their outdoor space. Exterior

[01:54] limits being raised to a new maximum of

[01:56] 350 at housing level seven, which should

[01:59] help with all of those lamps that you

[02:01] want to add in. You don't have to

[02:02] choose, assuming that you have these

[02:04] relevant housing levels, you're not

[02:05] going to have to pick and choose which

[02:06] things you want to get rid of so that

[02:07] you can fit like a candle. And then on

[02:09] top of that, there are more than 100 new

[02:12] decor items that are being added to the

[02:14] neighborhood housing vendors in 1207.

[02:16] Lots and lots of new stuff here. A

[02:18] couple of particular favorites for me

[02:20] include gravestones, which are sort of a

[02:21] new category that we haven't had so far.

[02:23] I know people have been making their own

[02:24] gravestones, but there will be a couple

[02:26] of options for placeable decor

[02:27] gravestones. There's this lovely like

[02:29] extra-wide planter box that I feel like

[02:31] I could do a lot of stuff with. I had

[02:33] been planting things in a coffin up to

[02:34] this point, so this will be a slightly

[02:36] less macabre. And haystacks, couple of

[02:39] haystacks. Lots of sort of

[02:40] stabley-themed stuff.

[02:43] I particularly like neighborhood vendor

[02:45] decor because it's just a great place to

[02:48] start if you're beginning a house. It's

[02:49] available for gold, you don't have to

[02:51] unlock it, and if you happen to want

[02:53] copies, which you almost certainly will,

[02:55] they're not far away to go buy more of.

[02:58] I can't tell you how many times I had to

[02:59] go buy more crates when trying to

[03:01] recreate that shelf in

[03:03] that shelf in in my WoW house because I

[03:07] kept thinking I had enough crates and I

[03:08] did not have enough crates.

[03:10] Another nice thing about neighborhood

[03:11] vendor items is they tend to be more

[03:14] dyable than things that you get in other

[03:16] places. Not everything is dyable, but

[03:19] most of the items that have multiple dye

[03:21] slots tend to be just off the

[03:22] neighborhood vendors. And then other

[03:25] things going on in 1207, if you have

[03:27] been a victim of the great Herendar moth

[03:31] bugs,

[03:32] pun only mildly intended, of this past

[03:35] year, good news for you in the patch

[03:36] notes. They are rebuilding how the

[03:39] Herendar moth hunt thing works, or at

[03:42] least how the rewards work for it.

[03:43] You're still going to be hunting for

[03:44] moths to earn all the rewards, but

[03:46] they've completely gotten rid of the

[03:48] dust feature. They have removed that.

[03:50] They've rebuilt the system so that

[03:52] instead of collecting luminous dust,

[03:54] there will be a quest that pops up to

[03:56] grant your reward for every 10 moths

[03:58] gathered on your account. So, you'll

[04:00] collect the moths and then you just pick

[04:02] up your item via quest. That quest

[04:04] should only be visible if you do not

[04:06] already have said reward, which

[04:09] basically I think is there so that if

[04:11] you've collected enough moths to unlock

[04:13] a thing but you have not received it

[04:14] because of the bugs, you should be able

[04:16] to finally get your stuff. There are

[04:18] some lovely mounts for moth collecting.

[04:20] The vivid clouderacirus is the ground

[04:22] mount and then the elder glowmite is the

[04:24] flying mount that many people have been

[04:26] barred from getting because of these

[04:27] bugs. And I think that this is just

[04:29] Blizzard's way of fixing those

[04:31] long-standing issues because I guess

[04:32] they couldn't come up with another way

[04:33] to do it. But if this works, then it

[04:35] works.

[04:36] Um if you have been having issues

[04:38] receiving your elder glowmite because of

[04:40] the one moth missing bug, next week is

[04:42] going to be the perfect time to go, you

[04:43] know, drop by the

[04:45] What do they call her? Woo Tama? The

[04:46] moth lady and revisit it. Other things

[04:49] coming up, they are doing a new Twitch

[04:50] drop for the patch launch. So, from June

[04:53] the 16th through July 14th this time,

[04:55] you can watch 4 hours of an eligible

[04:57] Twitch stream, including but not limited

[04:59] to my own,

[05:00] for the cotton candy gurgle plushy

[05:02] decor, which is going to be looking a

[05:04] little familiar to people that um have

[05:06] been doing Twitch drops for decor.

[05:08] I think we're going to keep getting

[05:10] recolors of these. I'm not complaining.

[05:12] I think they're going to hit us with

[05:14] every possible recolor of these because

[05:15] it seems like they like to do a Twitch

[05:17] drop for basically every content release

[05:19] and they're doing those so often now

[05:20] that I think they're just going to keep

[05:21] firing them out. I do like this

[05:23] particular color. I think it's a cute

[05:24] one, so I'm excited to add that to my

[05:26] shelf. And then in my life this week, I

[05:28] have been making the most of the patch

[05:29] down time by farming midnight rears for

[05:32] mounts. I finally got started on that

[05:33] farm. I am up to three mounts out of

[05:36] eight. Um two of them from Eversong, so

[05:38] that's one zone checked off the list.

[05:40] I have not gotten my rarity working. I

[05:42] understand there's like an alpha version

[05:43] of rarity you can use to track attempts,

[05:45] but I decided I would just not know.

[05:48] So, the mounts will drop when they drop,

[05:49] and until then, I'm going to be farming

[05:50] rares.

[05:51] I do think a nice side effect of if you

[05:54] do do this, like going out and farming

[05:56] midnight rares for chances at mount

[05:57] drops, you get 50 void-light marl per

[06:00] rare kill, and when you're doing this

[06:01] all day, it sure adds up. I had been

[06:04] hurting for void-light marl, so this is

[06:06] a nice way to kind of boost those

[06:07] numbers. I finally finished buying all

[06:09] the purple outfits from the ritual site

[06:11] vendor,

[06:12] um because I had the marl to do it

[06:13] finally after this.

[06:15] My indispensable add-on for rare hunting

[06:17] for this is probably rare scanner. It's

[06:19] marking the locations on my map that I

[06:20] need to hit up. It's hiding them once

[06:22] I've killed them for the day, and it's

[06:23] also playing a sound and giving me a

[06:25] little waypoint whenever I fly by one to

[06:27] help me realize that I have found it.

[06:30] I think it's lots of fun, not a bad

[06:31] grind to spend your time on.

[06:33] Uh looks better to me than the fishing

[06:35] mount farm, which I have not started

[06:36] yet, that void egg situation, which from

[06:39] everything I've heard about, I'm quite

[06:41] I'm quite scared of that one.

[06:43] It seems like just an ungodly amount of

[06:45] fishing.

[06:46] And that's been the week. Have a happy

[06:48] patch launch, everybody. Keep an eye on

[06:51] my YouTube channel. I am going to try to

[06:52] squeeze together a Rotmire guide for the

[06:55] new Spires of Arak raid before it comes

[06:56] out next week,

[06:57] um so so this weekend. So, stay tuned

[06:59] for that. I appreciate you guys, and I

[07:01] hope you have a wonderful wonderful day.

[07:05] Bye.
