[03:16] They're vibing. So, it's uh I would say it's interesting to say the least, Lance. How are you feeling so far 1 week into the expansion, 1 week before the pre-season or the official season launch, excuse me?

[03:29] I don't think I I've ever had more fun in the first week of an expansion ever. Really. Really. I mean, I have been doing everything

[03:41] there is to do. Really? I've I've been doing it all. I lore master. Done the whole whole world tour. Okay. Uh we got horde Slayer you and I to get well you didn't

[03:55] whatever reason, I don't know why you didn't get the quest but we did it. We've been murdering the Horde. >> Okay. We've been doing PvP. Okay, well. >> We've been doing our delves, war rays. >> will say from people who do actively

[04:09] play retail wow. They have been talking very very good obviously the first like half an hour was a little bit scuffed, you know, getting everybody in but from there there hasn't been like game breaking

[04:25] bugs. Servers have been very stable. Launches have been good. The content is really good so far and I you know obviously we're not trying to you know the truth of the matter is is I would say from let's just talk about this

[04:39] guys' opinion. I'm going to ask you this question right now. Listen up. From a story and lore based perspective. Zones and questing. And just pre-season activity as well as just basic dungeon grinding. This is

[04:54] >> [music] >> in a very long time with retail wow launches. Like compared to war within and Dragonflight, especially Shadowlands. Um like I feel like the pre-season right

[05:08] Um like I feel like the pre-season right now has been absolutely dominant across know what I've really noticed as well Lance is they made a really big emphasis this time around on making world events fun.

[05:22] abundance. Um the uh the the core one over at Void Um the uh the the core one over at Void Storm. So they're definitely a huge step From war within but the soup is still better.

[09:07] too. Let me know what you think in direct comparison to Shadowlands, War content. Um, I'll start it off by saying I don't want to go too hard on on Dragonflight, cuz in Dragonflight in the beginning, I

[09:22] PvP. So, I don't have too much of opinion there. Like pre-season. Um, but War Within I do I have an War Within. I did all all They Yeah, I did all the world events.

[09:36] >> all the quests in Shadowlands, didn't you? Yeah. Yeah, I thought you did. >> So, what about in comparison to all these as well? Um Shadowlands was a very >> Yeah, the opening of Shadowlands was fun, but I will say this time

[09:50] the fact that we get Mythic Plus or Mythic Zeros on this go-round in >> been helpful. Even if the gear we get from them is going to be irrelevant in literally like day one Yeah. come season. Yeah. It's it's a lot of fun to

[10:05] Um I think the world events, like you've themselves, there are some quest lines in Void Storm that are like they drop some pretty pretty important

[10:20] >> Yeah. in them. Oh. What about that Draenei one? There's Well, there's that, don't want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't done it or who cares who >> talk. I mean, we're we're two weeks in. There's some some quests where you

[10:33] there's like a a guy who made some weapons on on in the Void Storm who might have led to I don't know, I don't remember may have led to the destruction of of the planet. Hm.

[10:47] Um so, that was pretty cool. It was it was just a lot of fun. I thought the Zul'Aman um quests were very good. There was one quest in Zul'Aman where they literally it's like you're fighting the ghost of the raiders who raided Zul'Aman

[10:59] back in the day and you're killing them. That was pretty cool. Maybe. By the way, I don't know do you this week? There's there's additional campaign Have you logged in at all? Not

[11:12] additional campaign quest open >> I'll be getting to it. So, we'll be doing that uh this weekend on stream. Hanging out, little stream, little M0s. >> I will be. Uh goofing off and playing

[11:25] that No no spoilers on the new campaign uh stuff that just dropped the other day, guys, but um side quests of zone are so lore rich. Yeah, there's a lot of There's a lot of really good stuff so far. And I would say overall, guys, my

[11:37] section before we dive into the show is it's a very strong start so far. And I myself or even, you know, I I don't think we all want to get too far ahead of ourselves, but before the expansion dropped, we were making a tier list on

[11:52] some of the best expansions ever. Where would they rank? And um, you know, we put War Within in the A tier. May or may not have been top A tier, but it was in not have been top A tier, but it was in the A tier. And um, as of right now, if

[12:05] I'm saying comfortably, I I could say strongly and confidently that we can all that for the most part, from what we've seen compared to War Within and Midnight respectively between the content released, Midnight is substantially

[12:18] better as of right now. Lance has stated many times that Midnight is just simply going to be War Within 2.0, and he has hit the nail on the head so far, and say. >> Yeah, and but I also think So, like,

[12:31] what when we look back on War Within, what's going to make it stronger and maybe eventually might even bring it to the S tier >> uh, one day is what it did for the game.

[12:45] Right? Like, you know, war bands are incredible. play them. >> It It just really helps solidify the

[12:57] foundation even more to make a great MMO. So, Midnight comes in like like War Within was like the jab, and then Midnight's coming like to hit you hard right now. Like, we don't even know what's about to happen so far. Like,

[13:11] we're like we have three raids to go test out experience. We don't know know if there's additional quests. What Who knows? Who knows? Okay? But beyond that, by the way, guys, knock knock. Guess what? I don't know if

[13:25] you noticed, but in a few weeks, we all realize they're going to announce it's got to go up on the PTR for testing. Do you guys know that, too? The point five patch My assumption is the

[13:38] >> Yeah. So, not next week, the week after. That gives about three and a half, four weeks of testing. See you later. So, we're talking about the eight-week content cadence they've

[13:52] carried through Dragonflight into this, right? With better content, faster releasing, everything's honed in and stabilized. Lore's good, story's good, events are good, new systems with prey, delves are

[14:07] getting refined, labyrinths later on. It's like, bro, there's a lot of W's going on right now and it's and it's hard to keep track. It is crazy. Yeah, and so, not only that, we're going

[30:31] be queued up against AI bots and that was set to replicate What was it called? Com stomp or Yeah. Com stomp. Where you can go in there, you have some fun, you practice a build, you get some honor, and you bounce, right?

[30:44] Not bad. Pretty cool stuff. I thought it was a W. Who here has done training has done training grounds? Or Lance, have you done it? Yeah, me. You have done it. Okay. So, not bad. Pretty cool feature, and I

[30:57] think it's pretty good to get warmed up, maybe get some honor, try some [ __ ] out, and you know, go through there. Little problem. Um where is my up date?

[31:10] Aha, yes. This was just the other day. Uh Blizzard made an announcement where now training grounds honor gains have been removed or reduced, excuse me, not removed, um as of the other day. Um now, I will say this, I

[31:27] was getting about 5-600 honor a game normally. Now, I'm getting like 2-250-ish, 260-275. Okay. Now, my problem with this is that they

[31:41] obviously reduced this because there was there's there was some shady [ __ ] going on. There were people sort of exploiting it where they would they would stack up in groups, they would go in there, and they would farm out honor, and then they

[31:53] try to cap out every single one of their characters, don't know if you guys know, you can go to the honor PvP vendor, and there are things you can buy worth gold. Like very like And there's some valuable [ __ ]

[32:06] there. Like there's recipes there worth 40-50-60 grand. Because if you get your you can make them all expansion long and get a big pretty a pretty nice hit. Like first For example, on my paladin last expansion, Warlords of Draenor, I made

[32:20] sure to get the jewelry and the neck piece. I bought them. I I busted my ass to grind it out, but dude, I was making 10-15 grand a pop on come out from dozens of dozens of dozens of people. So,

[32:34] listen, it sucks, but they nerfed it. I think it's honestly a major a major L. What do you think, Lance?

[32:46] >> Honor gains removed or reduced from training grounds by 50%. What do we right now? Well, you don't >> that one guy? I actually said it when we week we were talking about training grounds. It's like, man, I need to go

[33:00] and I need to go and get honor so I can get spend some time in training grounds. And then I I've said to you, I even messaged wow, actually I just thought about it. Training grounds probably officially

[33:13] killed the random battlegrounds. What the hell is the point of me queuing need to? Um so I was like, that kind of feels bad, right? Like, if this makes it so this is

[33:26] the best way to farm honor, there's no reason to be in a random battleground. Like, let's just do training grounds for forever. do training grounds for forever. Um which made me feel like

[33:38] Mhm. And I don't think that's what it should you go there to get your feet wet, maybe learn a little bit about your class, maybe if you're playing a new spec, go there to learn a little bit about PvP,

[33:51] BGs. Mhm. Um Well, what about for people who don't have any PvP gear who are trying to get into it? battlegrounds and get literally one-shotted while they can't deal any

[34:06] still go there for 50% reduced honor and take some time to do it. I guess. Cozie says, yes.

[34:18] I'm kind of surprised it gives any honor. Yes, that's PvP. Yeah, I mean, so it's tough. It's [snorts] tough when you have short of PvP base gear. That That's just That's the caveat, you know what I mean?
