[00:00] One of the most common questions I get on this  channel is, "How can I make money online in   my country?" And I get it because depending on  where you live, your options are not necessarily   the same. But here's the thing. Your location  matters a lot less than you probably think.  

[00:16] And in some cases, it might actually  work in your favor. And in this video,   I will give you an honest breakdown of  what changes based on where you live,   whether you're looking for a side hustle or  trying to build a full-time online income.  

[00:31] My name is Mikael and I have made money online  for around 10 years. And in this video, I'm going   to break down something most people completely  misunderstand. Because making money online is not   just one thing. There's a big difference between,  for example, earning a bit of extra cash with side  

[00:47] hustles and on the other side building a potential  full-time income online. And your location affects   these two options or opportunities in completely  different ways. So, in this video, I will show you  

[00:59] when your country actually matters when it really  doesn't and what you should focus on instead based   on your situation. That way, you can stop guessing  and start using methods that actually make sense   for where you live. So, let's start talking  about potentially creating a full-time online  

[01:15] income. And if that is your goal, we will talk  about side hustle in just a bit. If creating a   full-time income online is your goal, then your  location actually doesn't matter much because   whether we are talking about content creation,  freelancing, affiliate marketing, then there is a  

[01:31] global market and the opportunities are basically  the same no matter where you live because all of   us have access by now to the same audience to  the same platforms more or less and thereby also  

[01:43] to all these opportunities that are online. And  yes, it is true for some online ways to generally   it can be in courses or they can also be tools  you need. And I am aware that in some countries  

[01:57] it can be harder to afford these initial tools  even though online you can actually get started   extremely cheap compared to starting any other  type of online business. But I am aware for some  

[02:11] people it can still be a challenge even though it  might not be a lot of money compared to what else   And what many people don't think about is that in  the countries where it can be hard to for example  

[02:24] afford that then in those countries also then  you can usually also get to a point where you   can actually make a living from your online  income a lot faster compared to in countries   where the economy maybe is different and where  a few hundred to invest in different tools and  

[02:40] course and things like that maybe doesn't  matter that much. But in those countries,   then the amount you need to earn before you can  make a living from it is significantly more. And   therefore, if you put in the same effort, you have  the same things available, then in some countries,  

[02:55] you actually need to maybe reach just $5,000 per  month income before you can even just cover your   bills. And in other countries, when you  reach maybe $500 to $800 a month income,  

[03:07] then that is a great full-time income. So that's  just something that many people don't think about   that in some countries, yes, it might be harder  to find some kind of capital to get started with.   You can start completely for free, but you know  sometimes there just are a little bit of tools or  

[03:22] some courses if you need to get some inspiration  and things like that if you're complete beginner   because if not you can end up wasting a lot of  time. But many people don't think about also   living online. No matter what you're going  for, no matter which country you live in,  

[03:38] then it will take time and effort. Building an  online income, whether you can cover all your   bills when you earn $500 or whether it takes  $5,000, then it will of course take time and   effort to get there. And that's just something  that's very important to keep in mind. There  

[03:52] is no magic way to make a living online. Anyone  that claims that will just end up scamming you.   So let's now talk about the other option that  is if you're just looking for a way to earn some   extra money to find some free side hustles where  you can start earning more or less right away.  

[04:07] When it comes to these online side hustles then  your location does actually matter compared to if   you're trying to build an actually online business  because the opportunities you get for example with   paid surveys or user testing that depends a lot on  your country. In some countries there just are not  

[04:23] a lot of opportunities. In the so-called higher  inome countries versus lower income countries,   there's just more market research going on  in higher-income countries. Thereby more   paid surveys you can participate in there, more  advertisers. So those opportunities, you know,  

[04:36] there are just more in some countries. But what  I often see is that people very often just focus   on what they cannot do in their country. But  there are options in all countries. If you are   also looking for free side hustles, if you live  in a higher-income country, there are many side  

[04:51] hustles you can get started with right away. for  example, paid surveys, focus groups, user testing,   gig economy jobs to just name a few. In other  countries, there might not be a lot of these   options, but even though there might be a few  surveys here and there and all that, then it just  

[05:04] takes more patience in some countries. But if you  live in a country like that, then focus on other   options that are more worldwide, for example, AI  training tasks or data entry jobs or microtasks.   So do not focus on what you can't access and be  angry about that because then you'll just waste  

[05:20] your time and energy. Focus on what you can do and  what you have access to and then just start taking   action with a positive attitude and then there  are options no matter where you live. So just to  

[05:32] sum it all up to help you get a good overview of  how to find the right way to make money for you.   First of all, set your goal. Find out whether your  goal is to just earn some extra money on the side   with free online side hustles or is your goal to  potentially build a full-time income. You can also  

[05:48] use the side hustles to fund the initial money you  need to build a potential full-time income. So,   that's a way you can combine it. But first of  all, have that goal in mind because then you   can focus on what you can do in your country and  then just put time and energy into that. You can  

[06:02] combine multiple methods. I also just mentioned  that as a way to use side hustles to cover some   extra bills and cost while you're building a  full-time or if you are using side hustles,   then you can combine different methods. So, for  example, let's say we have path one. you are just  

[06:17] interested in quick side cash. The opportunities  here depends a lot on your country. In some   countries definitely you can just get started with  user testing surveys different opportunities like   that. We have the second path that is global side  hustle. So that means if you're just interested in  

[06:31] extra money on the side and living countries where  the opportunities I just mentioned are not there.   Then go for AI task, AI training task, microtask,  data entry. Then we have the path three that is   the long-term income and that means you can build  a potential full-time income online there your  

[06:46] location actually does not matter and the methods  here can for example be affiliate marketing. It can   be freelancing. It can even be remote jobs. It can  be content creation. There are many options like   this. So these are the options overall that you  have you just need to choose the right path for
