[00:00] Hi! I'm Hazel, it's Saturday today which makes it time to sit down and catch up on what's going on in WoW this week. This week we found out that patch 1205 has an official release date! It's

[00:12] coming on April the 21st which is in less than two weeks. Today for this news video I want to kind of recap the broad strokes of what's actually coming in this patch and the things that I'm really excited for. So we got a couple of new kinds of content that are coming in 1205, it's not a major

[00:28] patch so we're not expecting a raid tier or a new dungeon or a new delve or anything like that but there are still going to be some new things to do specifically in like outdoor um world kind of content so there's a new form of assaults and invasions called void assaults these are going to

[00:41] be similar to the kinds of assaults that we've seen before as well as another new type of content called ritual sites ritual sites i tested out and it really does feel kind of like delves but on a beach this is instanced content for one to five people like with delves you can progress yourself

[00:56] to doing harder versions of Ritual Assaults for better rewards, and you will also be dealing with sort of harder affixes as you progress up the Ritual Assault ladder. It really seems just like a one-patch version of Delves on a Beach, except they're not Delves. Both the Assaults and the

[01:12] Ritual Sights give a currency that can be used to get gear. This is going to be Champion and Hero Track gear, which is going to make it even faster for you to gear up for a new character, an alt, or if it's your first time coming in. There's also lots of cosmetics, including mounds

[01:25] and decor from these new types of content including these sort of void elf desk supplies There a couple of floating void desks there some runic parchment a void ink well that kind of thing

[01:38] Speaking of gear and void, the thing that I'm most excited about for 1205 is the new bonus rolls. The void forge offers what are effectively bonus rolls, except unlike previously, they can't miss,

[01:50] it's not going to ever give you nothing, and it won't give you duplicates, so this is a way to actually guarantee that eventually you will be able to get that BIS item, weapon, trinket, what have you, from Raid or from Mythic Plus. It's not going to be your guaranteed best item on the

[02:04] very first week of it, but it does mean that by the time you finish playing the patch, if you're very determined, you can get those items. Also, more upgrade levels available through this for weapons and trinkets, so just a way for us all to get kind of stronger as we go through the patch to

[02:17] help you meet your late patch goals. I am a tiny bit concerned that I will not have any late patch goals anymore by the time 1205 comes out in a couple of weeks just because of how much gear we've gotten and the rate at which content is falling over. But even if I'm kind of finished

[02:33] with everything, there will definitely be many people that aren't and it'll be easier to get the gear to get all through these things as well. In terms of smaller, more fun things that are coming in 1205, Abyss Anglers is a spearfishing mode where you're going to be diving to spearfish.

[02:47] The best way I can describe this is kind of like Withered Army Training meets Dave the Diver, if you've ever played that game. The reason I say Withered Army Training is with Abyss Anglers you're going to be getting currency to buy unlocks that help you dive deeper next time So if you remember doing Withered Army Training originally where every run empowered your future runs it going to be that same kind of thing

[03:08] On top of upgrades to your diving gear, you'll also be unlocking fishing rewards as well as, I'm sure, some cosmetics. 1205 is also the patch that is bringing us Decor Duels, which is a mode seen in some other games under the name of Prop Hunt. You might have heard people talking about it

[03:23] under that name. What Decor Duels is, is it's kind of like a fun, instanced hide-and-seek minigame that's going to have one team trying to hide in Silvermoon City as furniture and then the other team looking for the furniture where something's not quite right. It's a source of

[03:37] at least one mount as well as toys and housing decor. It sounds like a fun little thing. It seems like a cute fun mode that probably won't take over our lives forever but should make for some fun like guild nights, stream activity, that kind of thing. As for things going on in WoW this

[03:51] week, it has been Noble Garden which is the shortest holiday or at least it feels short outside of micro holidays. Noble Garden is only one week long, so it's already almost over by the time you see this. Hopefully you've been doing the world boss if it's something that has things you want.

[04:04] Daytan Swift Plume is easy to miss because he's not like a cued holiday boss like the other holidays have. You actually have to go fight him in either Elwynn Forest or Durotar. He's also only a couple of years old, so if you haven't been playing the game for a few

[04:16] years, you might have missed that they added a big duck world boss to Noble Garden. But he has the Noble Garden flying carpet mount. And as well as new this year there is a corn silk recolor kind of like this green and purple very light green and purple recolor of the spring outfits that we seen previously I love these robes I wear them all the time I happy to have another color So best of luck to anyone trying to farm their rewards out of Noble Garden before it ends this upcoming Monday April the 13th at 10am Wow that is a short holiday

[04:46] It's exactly a week. Not a moment longer. As far as what I've been up to this week, I've been doing lots of delves. I finally finished my glory of the Midnight Delver and got the mount from that.

[04:58] I found the trick to Delve Loremaster is to let go of only doing bountiful delves, because sometimes the cycle between when the certain stories are up and when delves are bountiful seems to never link up. I ended up doing quite a few non-bountiful delves in order to get the stories filled out,

[05:13] but it's done now. I've been enjoying playing a little bit of Fury Warrior, and then I also rearranged my office a little bit. You have opinions? If you're feeling a little backwards from this setup, it's because you're on my other side now. I was rearranging my desk to make
