[00:30] new series, I've got to give it to Takopi's Original Sin. However, the actual best new anime of the year, in my opinion, is Apocalypse Hotel, and that is thankfully up for best original anime. For best animation though,
[00:44] absolutely nothing deserves that as much as Takopi does. But when it comes to character design, My Dress-Up Darling is the clear winner. Gachiakuta's got some great designs. Takopi's definitely got some great
[00:58] designs. But what sets My Dress-Up Darling apart is the fact that they came up with all these great designs for the fictional anime within the anime, and even in cosplay, the characters still look like themselves. That is an amazing
[01:14] feat of design. Best director, has to go to Ryohei Takeshita for The Summer Hikaru Died. It probably would have been much higher on my anime of the year rankings if the story just finished this season. But yeah, amazing direction. Got
