YouTube Shorts Roundup: New Editor & Voice Replies

[00:00] Here's this month's YouTube Shorts roundup. We've  updated the Shorts editor to make it even easier   to preview, select, trim, and rearrange  clips to fit your vision. To try it out,   after uploading or recording your clips, tap to  go to the next screen. Then tap edit or swipe up.  

[00:18] In the timeline, you'll see all the creative  elements of your short, including your clips,   sounds, and text. You can tap to adjust the timing  of any of these elements in your short. You can   also drag and drop to reorder and move any element  of your short. For even more precise editing, pinch  

[00:36] to zoom in or out of the timeline. We hope these  changes help you create with confidence, no matter   your experience. We're rolling out creator voice  replies to comments. In the YouTube main app,  

[00:48] head to the comment section of one of your videos.  Or in the Studio mobile app, head to community,   then comments. When you see a comment you want  to reply to, tap reply and choose the soundwave  

[01:00] icon. You can record up to 30 seconds and preview  your reply before you post it. If you want to redo   it, tap to re-record, then tap to post your voice  reply. Try it out. You can now create AI generated  

[01:16] stickers for your Shorts. Here's how. In the  Shorts camera, tap the stickers icon, then tap AI sticker. Describe your idea, then tap create.  You'll then see four different options based on  

[01:28] your idea. Tap to select the sticker you want  to use or tap try again if you want to generate   a new set of sticker options. We hope these new  stickers help you easily personalize your Shorts.  

[01:40] We've updated the way polls look on your vertical  live streams with new live poll stickers to easily   engage with your community while getting real time  feedback. During your live stream, tap the plus  

[01:52] icon, then select start a poll. Next, enter your  question and possible answers. You can enter up   to four choices. Once you're ready, tap start a  poll. Viewers can then tap to choose an option  

[02:05] and see how their vote compares to others. Poll  stickers can help you better engage with your   community during your live streams while revealing  audience insights at a glance. Thanks for watching
