[00:00] Hello there and welcome back to another video. Today we're going to talk about racials and more specifically we're going to talk about all of the racial updates and changes that are coming in World of Warcraft Forever.

[00:12] Of course this game is kind of based off of classic era but they have made changes and adjustments to every single race and obviously we do have a new playable race coming in WoW Forever which we will get into. But before we jump into everything, guys, I do want to let you know that I am streaming over on Twitch.tv slash MrGM.

[00:29] If you want to see me streaming WoW Forever, 12.17 PTR, any sort of WoW, I'm over on Twitch.tv slash MrGM. Right, so yes, the racial abilities in WoW Forever have been constantly changing, literally with every single build.

[00:42] Now, we're getting right to the end of the beta now, so I'd imagine any future changes will not be tested publicly on the beta. So we're kind of doing a video now, going over the changes right now, but hopefully there's not too many more as we continue to the November 4th launch.

[00:56] So basically in this video, we're going to go through all of the new racials, the changed racials, the unchanged racials, and the removed ones for each of the Class of WoW races, as well as the brand new Skyborne, where we'll take a look at their new racials which are coming.

[01:10] So let's start with the Horde and the Orc race. So what's new for Orcs is two new racials. you have the Shatter Curse Racial. This dispels curses and bains, and reduces magical damage taken by 5% for 8 seconds.

[01:25] This is an active ability with a 3-minute cooldown. Another new one is Savage. This is a new passive, which increases your critical strike chance with all spells and abilities by 1%. Now, for the Orcs, there are two ratios which have changed.

[01:37] We have Blood Fury. Now, previously, this would increase base melee attack power by 25%, and reduce healing effects on you by 50%, with a 2 minute cooldown, but now in WoW Forever, Blood Fury increases attack power and spell

[01:50] power by 10% for 15 seconds with a 3 minute cooldown. Hardiness used to give you a chance to resist stun effects by 25%, but now in Forever it actually reduces the duration of

[02:02] stun effects by 20%. Now there are two removed ratios for Orcs as well, you have Axe Specialization which has been removed, and Command has been removed as well, which used to increase damage out by Warlock and Hunter Pets by 5%.

[02:14] Moving on to the undead, we have a new Rachel with Touch of the Grave. This is a passive. It says spells and attacks have a 20% chance to drain health from the power gear up to 5% of your maximum health. So, pretty good.

[02:26] Rachel load of change include Cannibalize which now regenerates 7 of your total mana as well as 7 of your total health which it did previously And World of Forsaken is now an instant ability that removes all charm fear and sleep effects with a 2 cooldown

[02:40] Underwater Breathing is unchanged and wow forever, with your underwater breath still lasting 300% longer than normal. And the only racial that's been removed for the undead is Shadow Resistance, which previously increased your Shadow Resistance by 10.

[02:53] Moving on to the Torrent now, we have a new racial with Planes Running. Yes, the legendary Plains running from the original beta has returned. Now the way that this works is that you gain increased movement speed the longer you stay moving.

[03:05] So basically the longer you run, the faster you run. And this ability also now increases your mount speed by 3% and it does stack on top of other mount increasing items, so that's really cool. The Torana has quite a few change ratios here, so cultivation used to increase your herbalism

[03:20] skill by 15, but now it says that it cultivates a nearby herb, growing a duplicate which you can harvest without requiring herbalism skill and each herb can only be cultivated once so yeah basically free herbalism for taurons which is pretty insane that is an instant ability as well

[03:37] we also have endurance which has changed it increases your total health by five percent and your hit chance by two percent where it previously just increased your health the other change is that war stomp now has a 1.5 minute cooldown which was previously a two minute

[03:51] cooldown and the nature resistance ratio has been removed for the tauron for trolls we have a brand new ratio called rapid regeneration so this says regenerate 50 of your maximum health over time this is channeled with a six second cast and a three minute cooldown so yeah a massive

[04:07] stealth heal for the trolls which is kind of similar to the zandalari troll from retail for change ratios berserking now increases your spell casting and attack speed by 10 for 10 seconds with

[04:19] a three minute cooldown. It used to have a caveat that it would do more if you were badly hurt but now it is just a base 10% across the board. Also the passive regeneration which would previously increase your health regeneration rate by 10% has been increased to 20% so it now increases your

[04:34] health regen by 20% and 20% of your health regeneration continues during combat so yeah just a little buff to that which is kind of nice. For unchanged racials for the troll beast slaying still remains. This is a passive that increases your damage dealt to beasts by 5%, and for the

[04:50] trolls, throwing specialization and bow specialization have both been removed as of WoW Forever. Moving on to the alliance with the human ratios. So for the humans, you have two new abilities. You have Ruthless which is a new passive ability which increases your spell and ability crit chance by 2 You also got Will to Survive which instantly removes all stun effects with a 3 cooldown

[05:12] and it actually has two unchanged ratios, so Perception, which increases your stealth detection, is still available for the humans, and the Human Spirit, which increases your spirit by 5%, is also still around. Now, removed ratios for the humans include Diplomacy, which used to increase your reputation gains by 10%,

[05:29] so that's gone, that has actually been added to the legacy tree for everybody, and mace specialization and sword specialization have also been removed for the humans. For the dwarves, we have two new ratios, we have big game hunter, which is a passive ability,

[05:43] which increases your damage dealt against beasts by 5%, and you've got earth fury, which increases your critical strike bonus to damage and healing by 2%. For changed abilities, find treasure works basically the same, but it now can be used at the same time as other tracking abilities, which is an amazing change,

[05:59] And Stone Form has been changed as well, where it previously increased your armor, it now reduces your physical damage taken by 10%, so not a major change there, but it's a good change regardless. Removed racials for the Dwarf include Frost Resistance and Gun Specialization.

[06:14] For Night Elves, they have one new racial ability, and this is Oluun's Light. It just increases critical chance by 10% for 15 seconds with a 3-minute cooldown, so yeah, a pretty good ability there. So we have a couple of change abilities as well.

[06:27] Quickness used to just increase your dodge chance by 1%, but now it increases your dodge chance by 1% and your movement speed by 2%, and night elf rogues and druids are harder to detect in stealth as if they were one level higher, and that is a passability.

[06:41] Also, the wisp ability, obviously turning into a wisp when you die, now increases your movement speed by 75%, where it was previously 50%. Shadow meld for night elves remains unchanged and unmatched, so yeah, shadow meld continues to be great,

[06:54] and nature resistance has been removed for night elves. Finally, with the base races, we have gnome. They have a new ability called Eureka. It says your non-periodic damaging abilities have their main resource cost reduced by 10%

[07:07] and you deal 10% more damage. So that's awesome. Obviously, that'll include mana, rage, or energy, depending on what class you are. It lasts for eight seconds and has a two-minute cooldown. The gnomes actually have three of their racials changed as well.

[07:20] So expansive mind used to just increase your intelligence by 5%, 5%, but now it increases your maximum resource by 5%. So again, that is mana, rage, or energy depending on your class. Engineering specialization has changed. It used to previously increase

[07:33] your skill by 15 but now it says your gnomish ingenuity reduces the rate of engineering devices failing or backfiring when you use them by 20 And also Escape Artif now instantly escapes the effects of any movement

[07:46] impairing effects and gains immunity to those effects for 3 seconds, which is a change because previously it was not instant, and it now has a 2 minute cooldown which was previously a 1 minute cooldown. Also, for gnomes, Archangel Resistance has been removed. So, moving on to the Skyborn.

[08:02] So the Cyborn actually do have different racials for the Horde and the Alliance, however they do have racials which are available to both. One of those is Walk on Air, which says glides downwards through the air for 10 seconds, so this is a slow fall with a 1.5 minute cooldown.

[08:18] You've also got Wind Blessing, which is a passive, which increases your melee, range, and spellcasting haste by 1%, and you've got Elemental Insight, which is also a passive, which increases the damage to elementals by 5%.

[08:30] So for the Wingshape of Skyborn, which are the Horde ones, they have Skytite. This says receive an elemental blessing increasing your run speed by 10%. So what makes this interesting is that it lasts different amounts of time depending on where you're at.

[08:44] So it'll only last 30 seconds if you're not at an elemental convergence. Now these are marks on the minimap, and I would imagine someone's going to make an add-on to show you where all of them are, because they are spread around the world. But if you are at an elemental convergence, it is going to last 15 minutes.

[09:00] so you're going to get 10% run speed for 50 minutes. Now for the alliance, the high order Skyborn, you have Reed Leyline. It says activate a leyline gaining 100% increased health and mana regeneration.

[09:12] Once again, this does only last 30 seconds if you're not at a leyline, but if you are at a leyline which works similar to the elemental convergence, it will last 15 minutes, and these, as said, are spread all around Azeroth,

[09:24] so keep an eye on your minimap for those. So yeah, that is all of the new, changed, unchanged, removed racial abilities in WoW Forever as of right now. As said, they have been changing quite a bit, so hopefully this video isn't too outdated by the time we do get to launch on November 4th.

[09:40] But, let me know in the comments your thoughts on this. Let me know how you're feeling about your playable race. Are you happy with the changes? Do you want more changes?
