AI Summary

In this episode of 'A WoW Podcast, Obviously', the hosts discuss their experiences at the LFG community event, player housing updates, the new Nil Hammer upgrade system, and their frustrations with Mythic Plus dungeon rotations. They also share BlizzCon tips and answer super chats from viewers.

[06:39]
LFG Event Experience

The hosts attended the LFG (Let's Freaking Go) community event in London, describing it as a joy with a great vibe, meeting many UK and international creators, and enjoying karaoke and socializing.

[13:26]
New Young Creators in WoW

They observed many young content creators at LFG, noting that new players are still joining WoW and creating content, which is refreshing and disproves the notion that no new players are coming.

[25:22]
Player Housing Progress

One host is working on a treehouse project in player housing, inspired by creations seen at LFG, but is waiting for patch 12.0.7 which adds more exterior decor and lighting options.

[26:15]
Nil Hammer Upgrade System

The Nil Hammer is a new system to upgrade gear using Ascendant Void Shards (from high-level content) and Cores. It currently applies to weapons and trinkets, with crafted gear now eligible.

[47:39]
Mythic Plus Dungeon Fatigue

They express frustration with Dragonflight dungeons returning in Mythic Plus too soon, especially Algathar Academy, and advocate for using old dungeons like Deadmines instead.

[58:06]
Housing Endeavors Repetition

The host managing guild neighborhoods is disappointed by repeated housing endeavors, wishing for new ones to keep the content fresh, though acknowledges it may not affect average players.

[01:06:11]
Housing Discoverability Issues

They discuss the difficulty of visiting other players' houses and neighborhoods, calling for better in-game tools like neighborhood descriptions, favorites, and easier shard navigation.

[01:26:01]
BlizzCon Predictions

They predict BlizzCon will reveal The Last Titan expansion and hope for Deadmines Mythic Plus, emphasizing the need for a proper expansion reveal rather than just teases.

[01:43:46]
BlizzCon Attendance Tips

Advice includes staying near the convention center, picking up badges early, wearing comfortable shoes, staying hydrated, and being prepared for long walks and crowds.

The hosts are excited about upcoming WoW content like the Nil Hammer and housing improvements, but urge Blizzard to address community concerns about Mythic Plus rotations and housing discoverability to keep the game fresh.

[07:26] >> exactly I think it's probably >> you know read it as you as you like it has always been called LFG it's in its third year uh organized by Mr. GM and um

[07:38] than better than the first two because we never made it to the first two because we had things happening >> um >> even though we were on social medias last year we were touted

[07:50] >> as as attending and we didn't know did we do you know why >> cuz I [\h__\h] off to Boston >> but no no such invitations from Blizzard this year so we could go no uh we were there and it was I have to

[08:03] say it was an absolute joy and a delight to see everyone we saw there. Um, we did an episode of Weekly No Lever, uh, which was really nice with Sean. And, um, >> was that, am I right? Was that on the main WOW channel?

[08:18] have you may have caught that. >> Wow. not going to watch the V. I don't want to see the comments, you know. Never super chats.

[08:30] >> Exactly. Loving super chats. No. Um, we see I didn't watch the VOD back but I did get to see photos from the event and time. >> We were It was It was really

[08:45] >> Uh so yeah. So so we did that. You may have caught us uh on there. You may have caught us on the main Warcraft channel along with all the other events that took place during the day. Um it was really really lovely. it, you know, it

[08:59] both kind of depleted my battery, my social battery, but it filled up my other battery, like my I feel good around people who are interested in the >> I see what you're saying. >> Yeah. Um, it was it was really lovely.

[09:13] It was a joy. Uh, we got to see loads of really cool people there who came up for it. Uh, loads of kind of UK- based creators, loads of nonUKbased creators, loads of friends, players, familiar faces, new faces. Um, loads of

[09:28] >> who was your favorite person that you met? >> I can't. >> Don't sit on the fence. No, you got to pick one. Who was your favorite? >> Oh, it was definitely Ardameir.

[09:40] pick one. Sorry. >> No, it was No, I love I loved meeting everyone. Um, but it was >> Oh, so much for so much for being, you know, diplomatic. Oh, holy [\h__\h] It was it was such a pleasure to actually like

[09:56] the first time because we saw some familiar faces. >> uh that we met? >> I mean, >> apart from Breach. >> I love seeing Breach. He's so happy.

[10:09] >> Okay. Who was your least favorite then? >> Uh I don't have Stop trying to bait me. >> Who was your least? You've given a favorite. Now you have to give a least That's how the internet work. You must have a least. It's it's it's

[10:21] have a least favorite. I >> least favorite is still a favorite. >> least favorite is still a favorite. >> Um my least favorite is uh the chicken burger that never came and then came out three hours later.

[10:33] >> It did come, but it was it was a forgotten about chicken burger >> All right, >> Artameus. Hate that guy. diplomatic. >> We're trying to balance the scale.

[10:48] >> The two genders, light and dark. >> No, no, we loved it. We had such a good time. Um like people, everyone there was so fun. It devolved into like girly pop karaoke by the end of it. Uh the girl, >> we went back to the hotel and had a

[11:02] >> Not because we were sexing, not cuz it was mommy and daddy sexy time. That's a morning thing, really. Like, but like uh because we we we had loads of cool >> We did we had

[11:16] some pool. We sat on some sofas. We ate some pizza. We had a good time. >> The only thing I didn't like was Artimus was there. But apart from that, seriously. >> They will take me seriously, but I don't

[11:28] >> You do? >> If they if people can't get the jokes, they've had 10 years to get used to them at this point. It's kind of on them at this point, right? >> No, it was it was it was so nice to chat

[11:40] >> yeah, just to like see people in passing, to say hello, to see um people who just showed up who we've seen we've seen before at Blizzcon, we've seen at other events. Uh we've seen like just out in the world. It felt really really

[11:54] like super chill. >> Yeah, they were super chill. Maybe a bit anything in there. >> I left with a like I I was on the White >> I felt like I was at a teenage disco. It was brilliant.

[12:08] thing to do. And I was walking out with one and like one of the guys was like, >> just hide your white claw. Just put it under your coat." I was like, "Thank you, sir, for reminding me >> in that exact voice."

[12:22] >> Yes, I did. >> The thing that struck me about um LFG >> was I mean like the vibe was immaculate. Obviously, it was very much kind of like um you know, BlizzCon without the announcements kind of thing. Just the

[12:34] >> Which in many ways is absolutely lobby. >> Yeah, exactly. The best part about little section that we were doing was over straight away. We were like the know, we didn't have to work. We were having a good time. Uh it was very much

[12:48] >> So nice. >> We saw friends and gildies and names from chat and uh new people that we met for the first time and and what have you that was brilliant. That that kind of goes without saying although it should

[13:01] be said because it is kind of magical and like just a whole bunch of people a bunch of people like 200 over 200 people who all just like woow right and are just there to kind of celebrate it. And you know, if someone is being down on

[13:14] the game, it's in a jokey way. Doesn't make their like downness any less like >> it's still just a joke. And because >> Sure. Yeah.

[13:26] refreshing and nice. But the thing that actually struck me the most >> was how young so many of these creators were. Now, part of that is because I'm very old now, but you know, like it's really easy when you're in your bubble

[13:41] forever and people in your social circle and they're getting older just like you kid when you first started, maybe you're not now. And it's easy to imagine that no new players are coming to the game, no new people are starting, no young

[13:56] person is ever going to play WoW, stuff like that. It's nice to see that in practice that's not actually true. and that there's actually loads of young loads of young people coming into WoW and content creation. And if you think

[14:09] that play the video game become content creators then like there's a huge influx of young content creators like young diverse like it's it's so good and they got such energy and they're all so [\h__\h] disgustingly good-looking. I

[14:25] of them. >> Was like you guys are way too >> You're way too hot. You're way too cute. You're way too ador. Stop all of you. >> But, you know, like there are people

[14:38] that started playing in Dragonfly and you know, like and and they're content creators now and they like the game that much and like I think I think that's so great. I I it's just it's refreshing to see because online we don't see it

[14:50] enough, you know, and there's there's this whole sathe of like new WoW creators who are kind of making awesome content. Sometimes it's not YouTube content. quite often it's like you know like what I would call social media

[15:03] >> all right old man >> yeah exactly right like this >> people who are just talking right and apparently that's quite popular and on on like um Insta and stuff like that and it's it's awesome it's really like

[15:16] >> so good I love it yeah it was like it's such a pleasure to see the you know the the community grows and it changes and it's going to do that and it's really nice to see kind of the content creation scene reflecting that and seeing the

[15:30] types of folks who are coming into it. And I am never ever going to tire of of people I was going to say kids, but of young people coming up to us and

[15:42] being like, "Oh, you know what? You two are you two are so inspiring. You two >> I feel like that's only really started happening in the last couple of years. were the hot young things. We were >> and then the next all spunky

[15:57] >> full of full of it. >> Full of it. And and now now we're just old and we're mom and dad. And it's nice it's nice having like that kind of status in the community actually. I like people kind of looking at us like that.

[16:09] like take us to the home. >> Yeah. Exactly. the back and like >> put us in the in the big grinder and >> Yeah. Exactly. And then and then you know turn us into like hule or something

[16:22] or holy. >> Is that how we got this this deal do you >> Is that how we got this this deal do you think? and hats off for real to uh Dan to Mr. GM for

[16:39] starting it right. I mean there was Dan but there he had an entire team of people making it happen. There was a really big team of people working. >> Initially, it's all him really. And you've got to kind of like you got to

[16:52] because he is >> very kind of humble and uh kind of loathed to make a big deal out of himself a lot of the time.

[17:04] >> Um but like yeah, he you know he's done something very special there and very magic and like I'm very pleased that uh he he wanted us to be there and to keep on inviting us for the last 3 years. >> Yeah, exactly. I feel very lucky.

[17:16] >> And I'm glad we didn't go to the other LGs cuz they were in like a place that like this I feel like we came in the right year is what I'm saying. I'm glad thing instead. >> It was so chill. It was like um right on

[17:31] the river in Hacknewick. Uh like we were there was literally a barge. There was a little outdoor bit. There was a hole there's a cavernous bar like that we Yeah, it was it was lovely. >> It was It was a really good mix of like

[17:46] >> It was It was a really good mix of like social spaces. Um and yeah, Preach was there too, very briefly. >> Very briefly before his his uh hotel >> Yeah, I didn't I didn't watch his stream, but I saw that he was talking

[17:58] >> he was having some problems. He was like >> making content. worst hotel ever. It's like through a kebab shop and it's like got the word don't think we'll survive. And I was like, "Dude, come and stay in our hotel.

[18:12] And he was like, "Uh, no way, mate. You know this. You see this? >> This is content. This is going to pay for the trip." >> I was like, "Shit." I It's been 10 years, but I still don't think like a

[18:25] >> You don't. >> I got to I got to get my brain sorted. Got to get my brain. Maybe what I'll do is I'll play some World of Warcraft. Uh, and um uh and begin at that cuz I I don't know about you, but I was I was

[18:38] times. wasn't it? >> It was. What have you been doing? >> I've just been doing the usual. I've been doing my delves.

[18:50] >> I shout. >> I heard you screaming and shouting at >> You know what? Cuz I die. I I don't die in. And I And I was one shot. >> You died in a in a delve. I was one shot you one shot in a del by a normal mob. A

[19:07] 11. I only do 11. Um, and I and that's why you heard me shout because I was so taken back and I was like, "This this doesn't happen. What just happened here?" And um, it was like one of the guys in the dark way who

[19:22] like one of the guys in the dark way who reflects like spells back at you. you died to a spell. Reflect. >> Yeah, I literally died to a spell. It's >> Was it your or was it or was it uh was it Valy?

[19:36] >> You know what? I didn't check. I just saw that it was like the spell reflects her to be fair. >> Doesn't sound like her. She just throws you know, >> now strike. You [\h__\h] strike.

[19:50] >> You do it. You're the [\h__\h] rogue. >> What's the one when she's like, "Now, Quicker next time." And >> yeah. And I'm like, "We'll do >> shut up." Um, but yeah, that's why you heard me

[20:04] shout because I was like, "What is that?" Anyway, that that happened. But that?" Anyway, that that happened. But yeah, so um I've been uh uh yeah, just I've just been doing delves and I I jumped into housing a

[20:17] housing, haven't you? >> I'm working on a project. I've actually I've I've developed the project further. I'm >> Are you going to talk about in this in this podcast or do you mean later as in

[20:31] >> Later I'll tell you about it because I have some ideas and I don't want to So, >> I mean I mean in short, I'm I'm trying to rebuild the the treehouse that's on

[20:44] whole journey around this. I I've developed the journey. All it took was me destroying my house and trying to build a treehouse. >> Yeah, I know. >> Not as angry. No, that's the wrong

[20:58] That's the wrong word. Just sad. And I want to reiterate I want to reiterate right now that I don't feel sad at the person that's bought it and is using it. grown ass adults spending money on whatever they want on their hobby who

[21:12] sad that it's on the shop and it's so expensive. It makes me sad because housing's so good and it makes me it just makes me sad. And you know especially seeing some of the incredible creations that we saw like Gecko Kids

[21:25] >> Oh, I saw you through that. we were going through on stream as well. Um, and it was, oh my god, it was so good. And you you're so inspired to do housing and inspiration of what to put where and like so much in the catalog and it's all

[21:40] shop stuff >> with the little hearts >> and you know it looks really good and I was like you know I was I was saying on stream I was kind of like sad about it and I was like I will never you know I

[21:53] awesome. They're really cool, but I've already said that I will never ever do it. So, I don't care what they put on there, you know? I I won't be buying it. And I I can't I well, I can't very well back down on that now because I've said

[22:08] don't want to be wrong on the internet. I have a pathological fear of people criticizing me on the internet, which is why I became a WOW YouTuber because that never happens obviously. And I but no, obviously I would never back down on

[22:21] I'd made mostly cuz I would feel bad about myself. about myself. >> What if um one of the shop items was like a giant like blowup doll with my face on it?

[22:34] >> But not in game. >> I made one of those in game. You should see it. It's a very good likeness. >> You still wouldn't buy it? >> What? Wait. Are you seriously telling me you wouldn't feel a bit weird if I

[22:48] bought that? >> If I did that, said I'd never buy Hearthsteel. Well, I did now because I wanted to buy this Everettel sex doll for my house, and you'd be like, "Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho.

[23:03] now I realize it's so you could have a sex doll of me. I'm really fine with it. >> I would be flattered. >> Why? got an sex doll. >> I know you've got it.

[23:17] philosophical conversations about Nichza. >> And Ursula Ka as well. Thanks. Yeah. >> As well as all the stuff I can do with a sex doll. >> No. So, I was like I was saying this on

[23:30] stream, not I was saying like, "Oh, is it a bit of a shame that I I went on so is dirty and it is nasty, but you know, there is some stuff on there that I'd >> And you know what happened? >> What happened, Tally? The evil

[23:45] sneaky bad Thunders >> gifted me some half steel gifted me his half steel on battle net. >> Well, I literally can't say no. It was just deposited. And I was like, well,

[23:59] even worse if I just leave my Hearthsteel in my battleet account It's like literally just free money for Blizz at this point. So, and and you cuz I can't I don't I don't want that dirty evil stuff like stinking up my my

[24:14] get rid of all of it. So, I had to buy two of those blossom trees that I really >> Absolutely disgusting. >> They go so well with the treehouse. internet about things you don't want because people will be there willing to

[24:30] this opportunity to say I just hate Omega. >> Oh, >> they're evil. They're really bad. And I ain't no one better gift me a uh Aquatera 34 mm shades and green lagoon.

[24:45] >> Yeah, that would be the worst. >> That better not happen. I'd hate it. >> That better not happen. I'd hate it. >> I'd be so angry.

[24:57] know what to do with them, but you know, at least I don't have any of that dirty >> Yeah, you got to spend it. >> Yuck. Yuck. Um, but there's Oh, can you imagine when they've got like the cool autumal tree with leaves going

[25:10] everywhere and it's all on the cards coming so good. >> Oh man, it's going to be so nice. >> I know. So, yeah. So, I've been I've >> I know. So, yeah. So, I've been I've been puttering around uh on my treehouse

[25:22] experiment and it's actually been quite nice like in this uh phase of the season where I'm like, "Ah, this is the housing phase for me, you know. Uh I have some things on my to-do list." You may know that I'm not a key pusher, so I'm like

[25:37] that I'm not a key pusher, so I'm like comfortably in like the 270s. I will use uh what's his faces? >> You must have like a million rerolls by >> I have them all saved up. >> So, what you're telling me is we have to

[25:49] like we we we got to bop some tens together. Basically, we got to bonk out and then run play some WoW. >> We got to bonk it out just to relax ourselves, you know, lower our cortisol levels and then get on and do some tens.

[26:03] Yeah, exactly. I've saved them all up. Um, yeah, and like I said, I'm about Um, yeah, and like I said, I'm about like a a week I need to do one or two more uh of the quests to build to finish the nil hammer.

[26:15] >> Okay. Let's talk about the nil hammer because >> Nil hammer. >> I just said nil hammer. >> No, you I said that like 20 minutes ago. You assumed I was still saying the same

[26:30] changed. Yeah, it is the Now, don't forget it is the naent nil hammer, not the ascendant nil hammer. Those are the ascendant void shards. There are too many words, too many systems that require too many words.

[26:45] >> I'm going to ask you to explain to me what the [\h__\h] the nil hammer is. Okay, because as a story that I'm about to tell will reveal, I don't really know. tell will reveal, I don't really know. So, what is it? How does it work? Uh the

[26:59] empower, right? And you finish building it and then through that you will be able to upgrade your like uh fully upgraded items. Oh, and they have added >> any any fully upgraded item or is it just like weapons and trinkets and

[27:15] >> I think it's anyone, right? >> Is it anything? I thought I thought it might be wrong. Maybe it is. >> I might be wrong. Um, but they have now added crafted gear to uh able to be >> good. I [\h__\h] hope so.

[27:29] >> good. I [\h__\h] hope so. >> I know. I know. Um, yeah. Um, so yeah. So that's very exciting because I finally built up enough myth crests to upgrade my crafted uh weapon, which now I can push up a

[27:42] >> Is it a bow? Cuz I can make bows. >> No, it's a pow. It's a It's a gun. >> [\h__\h] hell. What you called it? >> It's a pop. Yeah, it's called the POW >> Oh, is it called the POW? Oh, right. Okay. So, I thought you were I just

[27:55] just being cute. >> Just that is the little noise you make >> Oh, it is just That's what I thought. Yeah. Yeah. >> Okay, cool. So, I was I I saw uh on

[28:08] Wowhead there was an article. >> Oh, did you Oh, what did it What What did it say? >> Said Wow [\h__\h] now. Are we sure?

[28:22] just going through a funny little transitionary stage at the moment. Okay. place. >> Well, I look, Peculiar is the coolest person in the Wow scene. Okay. Yeah. And I trust her.

[28:36] wrong basically. Like I I I'll do she tells me to jump. I'll go. Like Yeah. Cuz you're >> Yeah. >> Um but like uh but yeah. Yeah. Obviously

[28:49] Wowhead which a lot of people have noticed recently. Um but having said >> those kind of tone shift articles are not at the expense of very useful and interesting articles as well. There's more types of articles there now. Okay.

[29:04] Um if if if there was if they were there at the expense of the articles that I like then I would have an issue >> But um yeah, so >> I still get the information I need.

[29:16] harder for it. That's >> um and uh yeah. Yeah. I I feel like um Yeah. You know, so I I I saw an article about the uh the Arcantina, which was

[29:28] >> Mhm. >> And but underneath it, literally the here's an interesting thing you can do at the Arantina. >> I did that too. >> Oh, uh wait, hang on. Mixed messaging

[29:41] there. cindering to all of you. >> Yeah, I feel like Yeah, someone Yeah, we need some editorial consistency here. Um, but no, no, the article that I saw uh was I forgot what I was saying now. Oh, yeah. The article I was I saw was

[29:55] very useful. The useful type of article, right, which was like make sure you do all your things like you do the nil hammer quest or the nether hammer, whichever one Desimus is calling it on that particular day in that particular

[30:07] quest. And he's like, and you're like, "Make sure you do it with your main character and do it straight away." And I was like, "Yeah, okay, great." So, I went in. I didn't even go to my vault. And uh which is why someone had stolen

[30:19] got there. >> Oh, I bet. Yeah, that explains it. what? Okay, this is sidetrack. Sorry, everyone. >> That's the first vault that I had >> in Midnight.

[30:31] >> I had the gaze trinket. The dragon gaze trinket. >> Mhm. Yep. >> I know you do. >> Uh and and I had the dream rift trinket

[30:44] >> Nice. >> But I but then on myth track I had like a myth piece of tear, right? And my them was I was like, what do I do? Do I take the myth bit of tier or do I take

[30:57] them was like, >> take the tier. Always take the tear. Do you want to get the door? Always take the tier. Really important. And I was seen I haven't had a sniff of a [\h__\h] trinket in my vault

[31:10] >> RIP. >> I haven't had an actual sniff though. >> I don't know what's going on. I just want I just want the dream rift trinket. >> If it makes you feel any better stuck on champion level rings for like months

[31:24] Let's go ring. >> We need to go get some ring. Get some >> This one? >> The the mechanical one. Yeah. it's out of batteries so it's not smart right now. But this is the Aura.

[31:39] >> Yeah, >> I knew it was called Aura. I was doing a >> It's confusing because some people don't know how to pronounce it understandably cuz it's spelled Aura. >> So, they were doing silly modern

[31:53] corporate spelling. >> Yeah. Or maybe it's or Yeah. Anyway Anyway, I got the ring. >> But yeah, I got a good ring IRL. I do both champion right now. So, um yeah, you know what? Get your R- rolls

[32:07] into the Mythic Plus. Going to use them rerolls. [\h__\h] spend some, man." >> Like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I >> "Yeah, I'll just get them all and I don't do the farming."

[32:19] spend two every single week in the dream rift and I do not get my [\h__\h] >> There's only two things left on that on that like uh loot chart. Almost there. get it, but we should be doing mythic by then. Okay. So, I feel like our team

[32:34] >> and we haven't and I'm finding it quite annoying. >> I feel like there's a fine line. You got to jump into mythic pretty quick, otherwise people lose the appetite for it, right? And I think I still think the

[32:46] Mythic because, you know, we're getting all these upgrades from the nil hammer now and the rerolls and stuff like that. Um, in uh 12.0.7, there's even more like such a good time to be buffing some mythics and I don't want our team to

[33:02] there. I want to start doing it. I want to become like a regular thing. We did our glories last Sunday, which was fine. >> That's okay. >> Fine. I got my glory. It took one one evening. It was all good. So, I got my

[33:16] Ms. I have to be honest, but it was good. Yeah, it was good. Anyway, so I went to the nil hammer to uh like um when I when reset happened yesterday and when I when reset happened yesterday and I you know I I I had that kind of like

[33:28] article from from uh Wowhead in my head and I picked up the quest and I was like things he's told me to get them and in my head I I remembered another Wowhead

[33:40] article that I'd seen which was like oh the things drop 100% now from uh ritual >> So, I went in on stream and I did like all these [\h__\h] ritual sites and I

[33:52] any voidy things. >> And I was like, "Oh, well, maybe the patch hasn't gone through yet. Not a guaranteed chance." Haha. But no, I activated the nil hammer yet. The things I've got to collect now to activate the

[34:05] nil hammer, and I've been doing the stuff that I'm supposed to do to get the >> Oh, darling. >> So, I I've done all these ritual sites for nothing, and I hate that. >> Why did I do that? Also just much

[34:18] site. Honestly, >> I find ritual sites quite long actually. the one that's up at the moment this week is like the it's it's so funny. The week is like the it's it's so funny. The troll one is so long and the uh the Naga

[34:30] troll one is so long and the uh the Naga one is so short and like half the size. Naga one and literally just pull everything and be done. Um and like but everything and be done. Um and like but no, the the the the one that's up is so

[34:43] wild. >> Yeah. So I just do delves. >> I never die. >> Yeah. But so anyway, I did a plus 10 and >> Yeah. But so anyway, I did a plus 10 and I got one of one of three [\h__\h] now.

[34:57] tonight so that if we are doing a heroic clear like at least I get [\h__\h] things. >> Have you guys done um mythic uh dream >> No, we haven't done any mythic anything. >> Why don't you just try Dream Rift? Like

[35:12] >> I know. Well, we'll probably go and do the first two bosses of um Void Spire easier than Kim, >> but then we'll go back and do then we'll get around to it. That's the thing. >> Yeah.

[35:25] >> Um I've got we haven't heard I've been checking the uh the um Discord. No, cuz don't know if to go and pug Dream Rift or something or like I don't know. So uh

[35:37] what to do with my with my rolls, right? So, um, yeah. I don't know what we're doing tonight, honestly. Uh, but I suspect it'll probably be a heroic >> But at least we're getting all the stuff, the upgrades. I don't know. I

[35:51] some mythic. I don't want to farm when there's stuff to do, everything, if we've done it all and we were done, farming is fine. But like >> Like I feel you. >> We got the tools. We got the talent. As

[36:07] Winston Zedore says, >> the the TNE uh community guild EU uh they do they do like regular they're doing heroic now. They're just >> like Yeah. No, exactly. Oh, wait till you get to Lura. You're going to like

[36:21] that. You're going to really like that. Like we we can farm Lura, but it takes >> Yeah. >> Um Yeah. Shout out to the uh the TN

[36:33] community guilds which formed around housing, right? Like we have our EU one the opposite factions, kind of unofficial ones for each and then Yeah. heroic >> Wow.

[36:47] heroic raid. >> Big That's amazing. Well done them. people selforganize. >> Yeah, cuz I don't have to. Exactly. I didn't touch that [\h__\h] No, I love it. Like I I I absolutely love it. It It

[37:01] >> So, yeah, we're gonna we're gonna surpass immortalis soon. >> No, you're not. But like um Yeah. Well Well, you're not. But no. Well, you get to Lura. >> I say we, but I I can't do it because

[37:15] it's on immortalis raid night. >> Oh, no. Really? >> All right. >> Oh, dear. Okay. Anyway, so yeah, that's the moment. I wish I I want to I want to kind of push further

[37:29] >> and do more stuff, you know, like um but I I don't know how much appetite there appetite for it, but apparently not. I don't know. I I think there's appetite management. And >> you know how that goes. It's not my rate

[37:43] along. >> I I don't get to make any decisions and rightfully so because I'd make terrible decisions. I'd be awful at that. I decisions. Keep me away. I have to keep like, you know, keep me at least half a

[37:57] mile away from any of your decisions, >> please. >> So that's Yeah. Like that's where I'm at at the moment with the nil hammer. I got to And so So what's the deal, right? Once I've unlocked it and once I've got

[38:09] Once I've unlocked it and once I've got it and do I start collecting things to upgrade my gear with then? >> Yes, you get uh ascendant void shards. >> Exactly. You need five of those to create an ascendant void core.

[38:25] >> We've been collecting too many cores. Like I've been there are way too many currencies around the void which include the word void or core. >> Okay. Okay. So, hang on. Hang on. So, >> just don't think about it.

[38:38] >> An ascendant void core is going to drop from like a a ritual site. >> No, an ascendant void shard. Basically, think of them as shards and then >> an ascendant void shard is going to drop from a ritual site, a high level one.

[38:50] or a delve high level one or a plus 10 or a raid boss, right? >> Nightmare Prey. >> Wow, there's a blast from the past. >> Haven't done one of those for a while. >> Just leaving poor Aelor.

[39:03] >> I feel like we could do a sequel to our last weekly reset skit where we kill just doing something else and is like, "Kill for me." And we're like, "What? Who is that? Who's that guy there? I haven't touched that [\h__\h] for so long."

[39:16] >> Do you know why? Yeah, because I can't guarantee that I'm not going to go AFK when you've got Nightmare Prey on, you like sit somewhere safe while you go and answer the door cuz Aelor's going to pop

[39:29] for me." And when you don't because you're AFK, you die and then all of your pro your hump progress has been reset because you had to go for a poo. I mean, >> This is like made to aggro you. >> Holy [\h__\h] Are you kidding me? [\h__\h]

[39:45] insane. absolutely insane. You need to either not reset all of the progress after you die or if you die or just don't have a thing that can just like if you're AFKing pop up and kill you the [\h__\h] cuz you you dared to be in the

[40:00] >> Yeah. Oh, wait. Dying no longer resets progress as of today though. >> Thank you. Thank you, Blizz. Thank you for taking my feedback so quickly. Fair That was just >> That was really good. Well done. Got to

[40:13] >> Yeah. Yeah. Um, yeah. And that's just for the first two nightmare prays you do per week you get. So, shards. You want to collect your shards. You need five shards. They combine into a core.

[40:27] combine into a core. The core upgrades your item, right? Right. >> Exactly. Yeah. >> Wow. So, >> a lot of shards, a lot of cores.

[40:39] right? >> Presumably. So, >> Presumably. So, >> I mean cores and shards. upgrade your heroic gear first. If you've got a mix of heroic and mythic

[40:53] >> Like noobs. >> It's probably better to upgrade like your heroic gear first, you've got a choice. Yeah. Because when you when you >> Mhm. >> Uh those extra gear levels will save you

[41:09] some mythic crest, right? And mythic crest are limited in cat whereas voices >> Mhm. >> So yeah, mythic quests. That's all. >> Makes sense.

[41:24] >> Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Okay. Good. Right. That makes sense. So, but at the moment it is only uh weapons and trinkets. So, which you know I've only got heroic trinkets obviously because we're not doing any [\h__\h] mythic raiding,

[41:37] >> you know, but I do have a lovely crafted weapon. So that's nice, isn't it? >> That'll be the first thing I do. I love upgrading my weapon. >> Mhm. >> Oh, that's cool. Okay, cool. So, you can

[41:49] that's good. But, okay, I'll do my weapon first just so I've got like an >> Mhm. >> Uh or craft max level. That'll feel and then I'll upgrade my shitty heroic. >> I don't think I've ever had an absolute

[42:02] maxle idle item thing in my life. No, you haven't. Really? >> Yeah. I've never had like a mythic totally upgraded piece of gear like >> We [\h__\h] bopping. We bopping some tens, mate. We're going to get together.

[42:14] bit of spare time, which won't be tomorrow because it's a Friday, but on bopping some tens. We're filling out your mythic track. We're getting you all >> I feel like we're over do a nice dual stream. I think I think that'll be

[42:27] really fun. Let's do that. Let's do some some pushing. Yeah. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. So, um, is up to right now. >> Wow. Okay. Got to do the things. So,

[42:39] things. Nice. >> Um, so how many how many extra item levels can I add to my my heroic item? >> I I believe Oh. Uh, >> is it But is now nine item? >> Nine. Nine item levels to my heroic item

[42:52] upgrade. >> I think I don't I don't actually know. >> Oh, 10 item levels. People are saying does that take me? Is that three? I got

[43:04] to do three upgrades for that probably, right? I'm guessing maybe. Yeah. >> M. Okay. Well, either way, it's going to give me some extra item levels. Perfect >> Yeah. >> Perfect for doing mythic progress.

[43:16] >> There you go. >> That sounds good. Well, that's that's unlocked the thing. So, I've just got two more mythic dungeons to do before I another five mythic dungeons just so I can have one core so I can do one little

[43:29] upgrade. Uh oh. Okay. So, five shards is one whole upgrade. I don't have to like upgrade one thing multiple times. >> I thought it it goes up to three item levels at a time. Maybe I've got

[43:42] >> Yeah. Okay. to 285 and my mythic stuff can go up to 298. >> Sounds good. Sounds good. Okay. I'm looking forward to my 29 where it's

[43:55] crafted. So, it'll be like a bit less one. It'll be like 29 like five or something probably. Yeah, >> I'm guessing uh for the crafted stuff. I like that. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. I'm I'm a big fan of that.

[44:07] done. >> Yeah. >> Sorry. Doing three things so I can unlock the thing that gives me the and can have a one and done. Y >> Yeah. Perfect. Brilliant. Love that

[44:21] >> How is your item level and stuff at the moment? What are you What are you >> like 270 something? You know, it's like comfortable. Well, it's not ambitious, >> Yeah. >> I I heard you were dying in delves.

[44:36] >> That's cuz I was so powerful. >> It was a spell reflected. >> Oh, yeah. That's That was my fault. >> Maybe a touch more versatility would be. well. >> Yay.

[44:51] stuff on the PTR, which is really cool. I haven't actually had a chance to do that yet, but I will do it for the weekly reset. um much as I it pains me to do all that story stuff, but the last batch of story stuff was really good.

[45:03] Fair play. Really very good indeed. So, I want some I want some more story stuff all going. I've seen some tantalizing kind of like images of it online, but no Don't worry. >> Uh and um Oh, I tell you what else is on

[45:17] >> you're going to Are you sitting down? Are you excited about this? >> Yes. >> Dragon Flight Time walking. Oo, yay. >> That thing you've been so excited about. >> I don't I like Dragonfly.

[45:32] know how Do you know why I can remember that I like it so much? Cuz it happened 5 minutes ago. >> I know. It was just there. >> Feels like having Algathar Academy. >> Well, I hope dog. I heard you like

[45:46] Algathar Academy. So, I put some Algathar Academy on your Algamathar Academy and like, hey, it's all good, man. That's the one I'm missing on level myth. >> Keystone myth is sorted. Keystone myth

[46:00] >> Congratulations me for my keystone myth. But I I've got I've got all 16s apart hard to get into a group for 16 for that for some reason. I don't know why. Oh. >> Um but it is. And uh so like you know and I got I got to be running those plus

[46:16] 10s just to get my item level stuff now. >> Are you trying on your guardian druid? over now. Okay. >> Sure. seem to be like quite a lot of >> No, really. >> They've been nerfed. Done.

[46:29] >> Oh, no. >> Yeah, it lasted all like 4 days. hope you didn't throw away your brew master. >> Okay. Well, I keep that one in your pocket. Doesn't bother me. Uh like

[46:42] >> Yeah. So, um time Yeah. Time walking with dragonfly. >> Time walking never excites me anyway. I'll be honest with you. Um you got that for >> that one. I actually will do it for the

[46:54] I think it looks really good. Especially cuz I don't have the farack one. So, I'm >> You don't have the farack one? >> No, >> Where'd you get the frag one from? >> Farac can't remember. But I killed

[47:08] Farak. Maybe I do have it. H. Anyway, so yeah. Well, there's this thing, right, of like, you know, >> you think you think Algathar Academy >> feels weird to be doing now in Mythic Plus? Wait until the Last Titan comes

[47:24] out next year. Next year. >> Next year. >> Wait until Last Titan comes out next year. And we are doing War Within Dungeons in Mythic Plus. >> I don't understand.

[47:39] talking about this. Like, it's absolutely insane. Like, I hate doing because I don't think it's a good dungeon, cuz I do. It's a good dungeon. Like, it's a really good dungeon. Yeah. >> Um, it's like probably the most

[47:53] mechanically interesting dungeon of any of them in this Mythic Plus season, but my heart sinks every time I even think about doing it. And that's because it's just it's just too soon >> to be doing it. And like Blizzard have

[48:05] shown that >> we don't need to do that [\h__\h] right? We >> we don't need to do that [\h__\h] right? We can just like, you know, we it's okay to >> do old dungeons and turn them into mythic plus dungeons.

[48:17] when we have repeat dungeon. So, every season you have like the four dungeons great. Win-win. Okay. And then you have the other four in the next season, right? And then a mixture of four old dungeons and like

[48:32] those need to be new old dungeons every time. As far as I'm concerned, WoW has got so many old dungeons that never see the light of day that people don't get a >> That's true. >> Like, I know it's hard. I know it's

[48:45] work. I know it's not free. I know it's not just a button you can press, right? But all of those repeat dungeons shouldn't really be repeat dungeons. mythic plus in the first place. So they should be Skyreach. They should be Pit

[49:00] >> You know, like that's where it's most satisfying. Like how many other what dungeons are there that we could use, you know? like at at a pinch a Legion Mythic Plus dungeon that just hasn't been in there for a while. But like

[49:16] >> Dragon Flight, it just doesn't feel good. It feels really bad when you've Pasaron, >> I love it so much. >> Do you really? >> I love it so much cuz it blows every

[49:29] have ever used, every excuse as to why they can't just do old dungeons for Mythic Plus. Like every single argument they're like, "Well, interesting enough." Well, you just put a bunch of good mechanics in there, so

[49:42] thanks. Like, and they they look like [\h__\h] Yes, they do, but no one cares. As cool. Fun." >> I I would bet big money that P of Sauron is one of the most popular dungeons this season. People love doing P of Sauron

[49:58] and it's fun. It's like an open dungeon that you run around, but it looks like absolute [\h__\h] And it sounds like absolute [\h__\h] as well. We talked about Son are the worst [\h__\h] [\h__\h] you've ever heard in your entire life.

[50:11] >> The worst [\h__\h] [\h__\h] I could don't I could go and take Annie out of school say, >> um, like getting access to my master's sanctum won't be so easy.

[50:26] actor in that [\h__\h] dungeon. >> It's so microphone and be like, "Oh, just be act sad because you just shot your pants." >> And he would do it just as well as the guy that does the boss who shits his

[50:39] pants when you beat him in Pit of Saron. Oh, I miss those edgy days of WoW. I miss it when WoW was so grown up. I miss it when WoW was so grim dark and bosses used to like whine about [\h__\h] their pants when you killed them.

[50:51] >> Oh my god. You know, those were the days before the woks, before DEI and the gays ruined everything when you could just log into your dark grim dark fantasy dungeon and and enjoy the the campest twink you've ever seen in your entire

[51:06] let you into his master's sanctum >> and like a big troll like ogrey dude complaining he just shhat his pants. >> Yeah. >> Oh, in the grim dark past of Wrath of the Lich King, there is only war.

[51:21] the Lich King, there is only war. Thanks, Obama. Ruined it. great dungeons that you could do. I I was saying this on stream yesterday, okay, in BlizzCon, if Ian has aostis comes on

[51:37] stage, which he definitely will, but if he comes on stage and he goes, he comes on stage and he goes, >> "Okay, so in a moment we're gonna be revealing the new expansion, The Last Titan. There's some spoilers in there,

[51:50] and just get you hyped for the new expansion. But before that, of course, expansion. But before that, of course, there's the small manner of 12.2 to reveal. And if they reveal in that dungeon pool for season 3,

[52:07] >> as a mythic plus dungeon. >> Why don't we have that >> [\h__\h] vanilla dungeon? Dead mines. That would get a bigger cheer than Last Titan. I swear to God that would get a bigger cheer than Classic Plus.

[52:19] [\h__\h] Starcraft game is. I'll tell you that. Like if they just dropped in there like this, but you are so right. >> And for season 3, we're going to have some uh familiar old faces for the returning dungeons and it was dead

[52:33] mines, people would BE LIKE, "HOLY [\h__\h] [\h__\h] LET'S GO. LET'S [\h__\h] GO." PEOPLE BE LINING up to suck Ian off. Like it would be to suck Ian off. Like it would be amazing

[52:49] stream and people going [\h__\h] nuts. Like if Blizz It's a winwin wininwin like you put dead mines. Doesn't matter if it turns out to be [\h__\h] Just put would be brilliant. Put dead mines in the [\h__\h] Mythic Plus. People would go

[53:05] nuts. People want to be doing that. Like have like a special Mythic Plus version of Whailing Caverns. People would go, they would lose their old crumbly minds. That's what they would do. They honestly they would [\h__\h] love that [\h__\h]

[53:20] they would [\h__\h] love that [\h__\h] Numean like uh split it into two. Nan >> I always used to call it Narian. Sorry. When I back in Yes. Shadow bank would be such an awesome [\h__\h] dungeon for Mythic Plus. Bring that [\h__\h] back. Put

[53:34] it in there. Scrap all this time walking [\h__\h] No one [\h__\h] likes time walking. instead put your time and effort into making these dungeons into Mythic Plus. have a repeating dungeon for the next

[53:46] >> Like we could go the next like three expansions of Mythic Plus seasons without a single repeating dungeon, you know? You wouldn't have to have like War Within dungeons cropping up in Last Titan. Holy [\h__\h] That's going to be

[53:59] rough, man. That's going to be dire. That's not going to be fun. Go to those old dungeons, >> sex them up, give them some RZ, put them is, right? >> And don't replace any of those janky

[54:11] >> No, no, no, no, no, no. You cannot. >> Oh my god, it'd be so good. And like loads in there that I think would work really well. And you you cannot use the excuse of, you know, we want people to have modern graphics and enjoy that.

[54:26] It's just not an excuse. Not now you've put Pit of Sauron in there. Not now. You've put Pit of Sauron 64 in the [\h__\h] rotation. >> Yeah. I think they I think they're saving them up for announcing at

[54:38] Blizzcon. I think they're I think you having said that makes me think that they are they are building up a big cheer. Like they need a big reaction and >> Like honestly, if I worked for some focus group or something and they were

[54:52] like, "What would get the biggest cheer for WoW at BlizzCon?" I'd be like, [\h__\h] kidding me?" Not Black Rock Depths, like uh Dead Mines. Dead Mines Mythic Plus. But then there's loads of great uh mists dungeons. There's loads

[55:06] of great warlords dungeons, you know. I hear Cataclysm's even got some dungeons apparently. Like, you know, you can put that [\h__\h] in like [\h__\h] Wrath, man. P of Sauron's not the only one. Like, there's so many of those Vel dungeons

[55:19] could put in there. That would be really good mythic plus dungeons. nuts. And then I hear Cataclysm's got god. >> Is that what you think? Black Rock Spire

[55:32] [\h__\h] I love that dungeon. >> Yeah. Do you think all you know all those classic streamers showing up at Blizzard recently plus? It's not for Classic Plus. It's not for Classic Plus. It's like just

[55:45] figuring out >> Oh my god. Do you think S fans and all he's like >> they're like I'm so ready for >> I'm so glad I'm so glad you all came. Uh because we would really like to show you

[55:59] because we would really like to show you some World of Warcraft plus Mythic Plus. Help us help us uh make Dead Mines into a Mythic Plus for retail. Wow. Yeah, I'm sure that's what it was. Absolutely.

[56:14] >> Definitely. That was that was all about Monastery. All this [\h__\h] Like it's such a [\h__\h] easy win. I have no idea why we're not doing it. watching, Ian. Yeah, >> cuz I can see you right now on my third

[56:29] monitor. My Ian monitor. I know you're watching. Make it happen, dude. watching. Make it happen, dude. >> Make it happen. Win. Win. happen. >> Good. Anyway, what's Yeah. Oh, so

[56:41] depressing to be getting uh like I And now I'm just like, oh well, what what dragonfly dungeon will it be in season two? Right. And it's like I you know >> I don't I don't hate it. I'm >> I love dragonfly. I love dragonfly

[56:57] too soon. It feels weird. >> Yeah. And time walking is like kind of its own thing. Um Oh, speaking of time walking, it's what time walking. >> Why time walking this week? Yeah, that'll feel good. You get some really

[57:10] >> Again, think about look, if dungeons worked for challenge mode, which all of >> Mhm. >> You know, every single one of those >> You know, every single one of those dungeons had a challenge mode. Like like

[57:23] it can't be that hard to make it a Mythic Plus. Not the train one, granted. before. >> Don't do the train one. Black Rock Spire, tell you. That [\h__\h] was legit. That was a great dungeon.

[57:36] >> Yeah. >> Kill the one in the dress. >> Love that [\h__\h] So good. >> I got great memories of those dungeons. >> Um Yeah. >> Yeah. Uh so uh and the the other thing

[57:50] uh which is kind of this is a very different problem but it's it feels like a similar problem. See if you agree >> endeavors endeavor choices in particular because I I am I am the guild master of two

[58:06] different uh World of Warcraft neighborhoods. Okay, the patron EU neighborhoods. Okay, the patron EU community and the NA community. And I I take my responsibility as the guy that activates the endeavors very seriously.

[58:19] Thank you. So, you know, on reset days when there's going to be a new endeavor, I'm in there. I'm turning on those endeavors. I'm getting them rolling, you endeavors. I'm getting them rolling, you know, and last couple of times it has

[58:31] been, and this is no exaggeration, crushing disappointment to see that >> Like, >> were you expecting new ones? Well, not like last time I was. I was hoping hoping beyond hope because there's still

[58:47] loads of kind of concept images they showed us when they announced endeavors, right? And those very early kind of development posts, the brilliant development posts. There's like Val Shira kind of like uh like uh

[59:00] >> Oh, right. I forgot. >> Nightmare uh Emerald Nightmare kind of like looking [\h__\h] um and other other kind of like people like little people different races and stuff that we've had

[59:15] we've seen like images of and so like I was like yeah okay and I was when they came out in the first month in early access and just [\h__\h] dropped six on >> I was like wow >> wow they must have loads of these lined

[59:27] up this is great but now I'm wishing they just had dropped so many of us in >> I know I know >> I'm wishing that they time gated it a >> it's weird to say and especially because there wasn't really any official

[59:39] communication about like, oh, go to another neighborhood and collect all the stuff from your friends endeavor. It was all just kind of like >> it was out there, but it was still like, you know, no one in the actual

[59:53] neighborhood tells you to do that, right? No one's like, "Go." No one in the game is like go out and find them. It's like, oh, you hop onto the Wowia Like, you know what I mean? Oh, there's something there. That's good.

[1:00:05] >> That's what everyone used like the first week and then got all of their Endeavor stuff and now they're like, >> "Oh, one would be so good." >> Oh, that'd be so good. >> Yeah, I'm with you. Dusty things. I

[1:00:20] would be so down. >> But yeah, um I'm with you. We need some >> Yeah. And I just think, you know, if if they'd launched it in early access with three of those endeavors endeavors, we could still have had a new one every

[1:00:33] >> with what we've had. And three would have still been loads. We would have been like, "Oh, wow. That's great. That's so cool. I like how many there have like as many as we had, don't get me wrong. But if if the price of that is

[1:00:47] >> you know, from from the third endeavor onwards, >> and and when I say repeats, >> it would be okay to have some repeats, but there should always be a new one, right? There should always be a new one.

[1:00:59] >> At least for a while, you know, at least for enough where the repeats don't feel so bad. Yeah. >> Absolutely. Yes. Yeah. >> Yeah. Oh, yeah. Like, so so I'm That has

[1:01:12] been kind of crushing. Now, what I don't agree with is that there's just not enough in in housing generally. Like there's a comment there which uh was to neighborhoods and stuff like that. >> I kind of disagree with that.

[1:01:27] >> I kind of think like like housing was always going to be a huge rusher at the >> Mhm. >> And you know then it's lull content, way. Like loads of people it will be their bread and butter and the main

[1:01:41] >> like Yeah. Absolutely. And there are plenty of them, by the way. In the same way that just because you've never met any. Like just cuz you've never met any 20-year-olds playing uh like World of Warcraft doesn't mean there aren't

[1:01:54] promise you. Likewise, if you've never met a housing man in game doesn't mean there aren't any. It just means you don't know any. Um and like that's fine, different kind of like, you know, like little bubbles within WoW. Like bubbles

[1:02:07] like this whole ecosystem itself with like different kind of sub ecosystems and stuff. Um I don't know like the weekly that takes you there like just stuff happening in the I guess we've got very strong communities so we are kind

[1:02:21] of like in many ways exactly who housing is built for you know it's a really good way of us getting our patron community together and kind of having fun and mixing and I mean like I I I am in my like the TN guild house right now.

[1:02:35] >> Why? >> Well cuz at the moment it says guild >> Yeah. And someone pointed out that a really cool name would be Tally's in. >> No, >> because it it literally spells Talesin.

[1:02:50] Tally's in is Talesin >> with an N. Oh, this is almost as bad as my TN thing. >> Yeah. Like, but it's literally Talesin. Tally's in. Literally says Talesin. >> Tally. Tally with an e apostrophe.

[1:03:05] >> And then an i and then an extra n at the end. I like it. Yeah, >> it's punny enough for me. I like >> So, I have to do that on the [\h__\h] down >> have to take down the uh Oh,

[1:03:20] Sorry. Forward. >> Yeah, I didn't mean to do that. Sorry. Yeah, I have to like take down my tremendous sign. Let's go and have a look at this. >> Oh, it's a blue part. Sorry.

[1:03:33] >> I don't know. I don't know how to take it down. Oh, there it is. Yeah. So, guild was took me so long, Evie. >> Oh, I know. >> God, I know. >> And I I got to change it. I had to

[1:03:45] >> Tally Zen is pretty good. >> It's just so funny. corner called Evy's Tell >> Evells.

[1:04:02] of, you know, this is a neighborhood filled with our EU patrons and it's it chat going on and like you know it's really helped bring our patron discord each other and kind of communicating with it's always been a very very good

[1:04:16] discord but housing has like moved it to the next level. So for me I don't feel to keep me going back to housing or whatever because like it kind of maintains itself. It's kind of it's mere existence is just like an enriching

[1:04:30] think of that >> just housing? like is is there enough to on a regular basis? >> I think so. Absolutely. Um I think there really is a lot going on and I and again I think it's the some people are never

[1:04:46] going to do it, right? Like I had a fly through of our uh immortalis neighborhood uh earlier today and it was a really cool mix of like people who people who have put a little bit of work into their houses and clearly stopped,

[1:05:01] people who built the most basic ass house and never came back. Um and people who bought shop items. And it's a whole you you get the whole gamut of of folks in there. And um it's never going to it's never going to appeal to everyone,

[1:05:16] are just never going to do it. They're never never going to use it for anything never never going to use it for anything but fulfilling a a quest, right? Um but I I think there's like I wish there was a way to activate

[1:05:30] >> Like I wish there was a way, you know, I get what they're doing with these quests. That makes sense. I think in some ways like it is up to the players and the guilds and and neighborhoods to make

[1:05:43] that happen themselves. The onus is on us, right? I'm sure there are people having amazing housing tours, incredible RP events. >> I could spend every single stream just touring people's houses. Absolutely.

[1:05:56] there and and people are keen to share it and keen to get it seen and sort of >> Yeah. And I think there's kind of a a balance to hit because they are, you guild neighborhoods, you can have like kind of more private neighborhoods, but

[1:06:11] I wish there was like a an easier way to visit other neighborhoods to like >> to experience to to go out and do endeavors there, right? You know, even there was like a more basic way of discovering neighborhoods, visiting

[1:06:27] >> Oh, yeah. God, are you kidding? >> Yeah. Yeah. It's a really really basic houses of people in like your friends list. Absolutely. Uh and uh in your guild and basically if you've got someone's name on a menu somewhere

[1:06:42] feel like >> you know so for example if I if I read uh who who's someone I like who does like good house and stuff? Marvel right? >> we're not battleet friends. >> You know we've met we know each other. I

[1:06:57] >> I wish there was a way. >> She she comes up with some great stuff saw her tweet about this >> and I I'm gonna go and visit the house and and have a look at it, but I have no way of doing that, you know. Um and I

[1:07:11] >> Yeah. And then, you know, one of the ways they're looking to remedy that, I think, is with the introduction eventually of these new what I forget scenarios, basically where you can you can create a version of your house that

[1:07:24] visit, right? >> Yes. But that only kind of like further comp compartmentalizes things, I think. Right. I know what you're saying. It's it's it's suddenly infinitely more sharable. But the actual like having 20

[1:07:38] people in a neighborhood at the same time experience is isn't necessarily >> It should also be much easier to visit other players shards, other shards in your own guild neighborhood because like at the moment you open the house finder

[1:07:51] Mhm. >> and like Yeah. You know, it's like I can uh you know, I can go to the other shards that shard. >> Otherwise, how do you get there?

[1:08:03] that. Or and then then I have to go right to the town center. I have to look up all the names of the people on the board and like find someone who's in the lake, isn't it? >> I agree. And then I wish like, you know,

[1:08:15] >> I agree. And then I wish like, you know, looking at this menu, Happy Oak Outpost. I don't know [\h__\h] about this place. I don't know what I can find. neighborhood would be good. >> A even just like a neighborhood

[1:08:27] description option for people to be like, "Hey, we're an active neighborhood with da da da or like, hey, we like to focus on RP." Like, why not build these things in? I know that they're really hoping for like our peers, community

[1:08:43] people, builders to facilitate these things themselves, and I think people are. They're making use of these tools. But why not make it easier in game? Why not allow some like customization description of the neighborhoods, you

[1:08:57] know? And then also like are we getting neighborhood fatigue because it's just the same two places? I don't I I don't know. That's I don't I don't for me >> But I I do think if they could just facilitate visiting that would make a

[1:09:11] >> Yeah, I think having some different endeavors would definitely spice things >> Not to bang on that [\h__\h] drum, but it's true. I agree. I agree. >> Uh, you know, but um like so yeah, it is it is it's tough, isn't it? Because

[1:09:24] >> I think like if you've got an active community, you're kind of who housing designed for, right? And so you're making the most of it and it's really with us. >> But yes, I can imagine if you live in a

[1:09:38] uh a public neighborhood which doesn't have that kind of interaction um and and and you don't know the people in there and god forbid it's quite empty or whatever. Uh, I mean, and and to think people wanted a house for each of their

[1:09:50] >> Like, can you imagine how many dead public neighborhoods we'd have then? Like, you know, can can you see why we didn't want to do that now? And like it's like, yeah, I um >> uh I can imagine it is quite tough with

[1:10:07] stuff if if it's a bit So, what's the answer to that then? >> I don't know. I don't know. Do you just be like, "Oh, well, my my neighborhood's like not very social, but I mean, I don't care." Because if I did care, I'd

[1:10:19] join a group >> that was like like I want in the same way that you can't sit there going, "Well, I I I don't you know, I'm in a raid." Well, what do you do? Do you sit there or do you join a raid guild?

[1:10:32] >> Like if like I'm really interested in RP, but I'm I'm in a guild where no one RPs. Well, you go and find an RP group, right? And likewise with >> No, I agree with you. And I'm not I'm not putting the blame. Well, some of the

[1:10:45] blame has to go on place. If you do want to live in a in a uh in a um vibrant >> kind of social neighborhood, >> you can they exist. Like they're all over the place. And if if if if it's if it matters to you,

[1:11:00] >> go and find it. >> But I totally agree. It should be easier right? >> You have to find Discord. you have to have to go and again it's one of those things where it's like I guess looking

[1:11:14] look at our peers right like you have these suite of tools but if you really going to have to go outside of the game you're going to have to go find come back into the game so it's kind of like sending people out to come back in

[1:11:28] and I guess housing is housing is working in a similar way at the moment I would just like to see more in there >> like just discoverability customization Great. >> Oh, yeah. Naming your neighborhood.

[1:11:42] Dangerous, of course. But, uh, and yeah, but like, yeah, I I think Oh, God. Yeah. A neighborhood's favorite list would be awesome. That'd be so cool. and like yeah just more tools around like going to neighborhoods and visiting

[1:11:54] neighborhoods and having some control over that because at the moment the the because >> the neighborhoods that pop up in in >> um >> they they want to push you into like

[1:12:08] >> they they want to push you into like >> un uh occupied neighborhoods because it so it's like well here's a place with loads of houses and also we could do with you filling this place up so it's >> filter for neighborhoods It's like I

[1:12:20] want to move all my my me and my friends in. I want to find an almost full >> Yeah. But I find the house I find the house finder neighborhood uh finder everything it shows you is empty neighborhoods and it's like it's doing

[1:12:35] that are obvious, >> but me some nice full vibrant fun neighborhoods I can go and check out. >> Yeah. >> Anyway, so yeah. So anyway, my

[1:12:49] >> at seeing the same endeavors pop up again this week was comparable to my dis Academy in Mythic Plus. >> Okay. >> How we got here, right? I enjoyed that little journey. That was really uh that

[1:13:05] >> Yeah. Yeah. Like um so that's that's how I feel about it. Um, but you know, we we know that there's loads of great ideas for housing that people are working on that's just never going to stop really. And the team there are so kind of uh

[1:13:22] enthusiastic still. Oh, absolutely. And uh, you know, it's like sort of dedicated to to pumping out some amazing stuff. So, you know, we we've >> heard rumblings about some amazing things and there's just like I think

[1:13:36] it's going to get better and better and better and I think I think yeah discoverability, power to visit places, discoverability, power to visit places, tools to help make not so vibrant public

[1:13:48] know, more public events and stuff in that, right? That's your public events, but like stuff like visiting bands and Argantina as well, really. Like there's a band visiting this week. Uh there's

[1:14:02] like a special thing visiting this week like and like separate from the event things that kind of crop up there coming together and you know that that kind of [\h__\h]

[1:14:14] >> Um absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. >> Uh so it's it's getting quite hard to remember which endeavors I've chosen for each neighborhood so we don't get the argument you can make. It's like well yeah you as a neighborhood you

[1:14:27] don't have to have had a repeat yet. But who's in just one neighborhood? Well, I guess quite a few people maybe. I don't know. But like, yeah. Um, so yeah, maybe >> that maybe that feeling of repetition is more for me because I'm in three

[1:14:40] neighborhoods, right? Which is probably an unusual amount of neighborhoods. Most Lots of people do, but most people don't. >> Um, so maybe that feeling of repet repetition is is is more kind of, you

[1:14:53] know, immediate for me. Whereas your average player, it's like they still haven't had a repeat yet in the ones they've actually done. So maybe it's not making a big deal of it and I need to chill the [\h__\h] out and like calm down

[1:15:06] >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay, I will then. I will do that. while we're here before we go on to super chats? Eie. >> No, that that mostly covers it. Um yeah, I'm looking forward to digging into my

[1:15:22] to doing that. >> Oh, are you going to do that? Treehouse core of a video. Yeah. >> About player housing in general in the >> That is that is the plan. >> Okay, cool. Uh balloon festival's on.

[1:15:38] >> Uh yeah. No, it's all good. Just just like it is, you know, I know there's gear to be upgraded and and keys >> Yeah, it's a bit of a low phase. And I I

[1:15:52] have been getting back into house. Like I say, I was inspired by what we saw at LFG with Gecko in particular. And I went into my own treehouse. >> But the thing is in 12.0.7 get 100 extra exter exterior decol. So

[1:16:08] I'm loathed to do too much now. >> I know. And there are loads of new items coming as well. Like eventually all those trees that are like been data mined, all that good stuff. I know. But, you know, just just get into it. You can

[1:16:22] always wreck it like I just did my whole >> You did. You took it all apart. a couple of weeks ago, and I was like, "No, cuz I've got a there's one throwaway joke that I want to include in the

[1:16:35] >> about oh, more decor. I can finally put her back on my house." Right. So, it's it. No. >> Uh, so I'm really looking forward to and like lighting sources being able to be put outside in 12.0.7 as well. It's

[1:16:49] huge. Um, and that's awesome. So, really looking forward to that. >> Uh, and then my treehouse will really come into, but um, yeah, I I marched in there. I've got a big room which I need to change um, in my house and which has

[1:17:02] little bit. So, I went in there. I took one look at that big empty room and I was like, maybe I'll just like move some stuff around in my kitchen instead. great. >> Okay, let's do some super chats. Let's

[1:17:17] do some super chats. We've had some really lovely ones come in. I'm very excited to say hello to you. Uh some some sucrose super chatting, I would uh describe as uh and what? Sorry. >> Sucrossse. Sucrossse.

[1:17:30] Oh, I see what you're saying. Yeah. No, I like I like the way you do it. Don't >> That's great. >> Speaking of uh you may know that we uh may have seen Tally. You have your

[1:17:44] swishy beverage drink thing. What do you call that? >> A >> Call me old fashioned. >> Call me old fashioned. >> It's a

[1:17:57] to see it. Um so yeah, so Holy Cent's bottles which have been really really bottles which have been really really nice. Um I have been drinking lime, the teas. >> I love the teas. The teas are really

[1:18:09] >> Everyone knows Eve loves the tea. >> I love the tea. I love the tea. They have really cute packaging, which ah I'm too old for this [\h__\h] but it does work quite 90s inspired, isn't it? I I can see why you like it.

[1:18:24] >> It's super cute. Um, now I thought we were super squishy with these like bottles, beverage holders that they sent us. But wait, Tally, look at this. Look >> That is a big boy. >> It's huge. It's absolutely massive.

[1:18:37] me for cleaning. Okay, so this is a new this is a new thing which I did not think I was going to be into, but I am into. This is a new syrup bottle. >> And these are syrup pods. >> Oh, you love syrup being an American.

[1:18:53] >> No, but this is the cool thing. This is the cool thing. I I do not like very >> Not true. I've seen you order your coffee. >> Okay. Drink. Coffee doesn't count. Coffee. coffees in our tongue.

[1:19:08] I've been to many coffee shops with you. a strongly flavored drink. It's like, "Oh, yeah. Can I have a a caramel "Oh, yeah. Can I have a a caramel macchiato, please?"

[1:19:21] >> But like in terms of like hydrating, drinking water and stuff. So, like I I love these. I love the holy drinks. I love the teas cuz you can you can, you they're usually like pretty gently flavored. You can get some stronger ones

[1:19:34] mind, Tally. >> Oh, at last >> this >> with my bottle. Um, so I'll take I'll they look very nice, right? But wait, what's that on top? Can you see what

[1:19:48] >> That's this is so impossible to get it >> These come with a dial and a pod. So, let me tell you how this works. You take one of these bad boys. You take a This is so This is so

[1:20:02] You take a pod, >> you stick it in your pod bottle. They've got loads of flavors here. There's like strawberry, peach, elder flour, lime, many of them. Yeah. Lots of good flavors.

[1:20:15] >> You stick your pod in the bottle and then I have like cola flavor in here. >> I don't like strong drinks. >> No. And then you adjust your knob. And I have the knob set on two. Two out of explosion. So there's one, two, three,

[1:20:29] explosion. >> Story of my [\h__\h] life. Um, and uh, it has a special like lid on. So, every time you take a drink, it kind of like it literally flavors the water based on your preference. And I really like it.

[1:20:46] inflation? >> I love a Gizmo. And I love things that suit me exactly how I want them. And I like staying hydrated. So, um, I am syrup bottle. If you ever if you guys do want to check out Holy, go to holy.com

[1:21:04] if you're in the UK, uk.holy.com. Even better, uk.holy.comtde. kind of first purchase. You can get a discount on the starter set, which is

[1:21:18] really, really good. If you don't know what you want, it's a really good way to what you want, it's a really good way to start. Um, head over there, use our code start. Um, head over there, use our code T and E. T A N D E. God,

[1:21:30] >> I don't know. This is what we do to quite like holy as well. And not that syrup [\h__\h] Not the tease either if I'm honest. Um but uh not the energy drinks. I I don't [\h__\h] with drinks, but I do

[1:21:44] hydration. I have like one a day in my cool bottle with it little rubber bottom. I love that [\h__\h] And I like the coconut one. I can't lie. I like it. I am. >> Look at you. I know I I know I I'm I'm

[1:21:58] all down on it because, you know, I hate sponsorship, but like it is quite nice. Fair play. It is It is really Yeah, I do quite like it. I would I would be sad if >> I would be sad. >> You know, like I I would actually I'd

[1:22:11] actually be like, "Oh [\h__\h] [\h__\h] >> I have to buy it now." chats. Thanks for that. >> Let's do those. Um so yeah, just uh

[1:22:23] putting that out there. Thanks, Holy. Um, right. So, onto our super chats. Uh, first of all, thank you to Rico the Orc. Lovely to see you, Rico. Also a member of the team. This is your friendly super chat reminder. Thanks, Rico. Also, Rico,

[1:22:38] we saw your house uh on a fly through of the neighborhood. And we laughed. It was >> Yeah, just a floating cave. >> Great. Very. But it's elegant though as Rico's house. Yeah. >> Superb. Superb. Um, thanks, Rico. Lovely

[1:22:54] to see you. Uh, next one is up from Moxen, another member of the team. Lovely to see it. Uh, and this is your not SO FRIENDLY REMINDER. OH, THEY went >> Wow. Okay. Yeah. See, I told you we're going to get nasty comments today. I

[1:23:07] told you this is your fault. >> I love it. Thanks, Moxen. That's so good. Um, next one is up from Chris, another member of the team. God, I love those little cadgar heads. I can't wait until they start changing colors. That's

[1:23:20] when it's going to be really good. I I can't wait either just because you never >> Oh, that was a harsh shut up. I wish I hadn't said that. That made it sound much harsher than I meant it to. So, you

[1:23:32] never stop banging on about it. >> Banging on about it. There you go. That's much better. Someone's got to bang on about it. Uh, next, uh, Chris, amazing people. Friendly pork chop stream reminder.

[1:23:45] >> We really Yeah, we got to do a cooking stream. to do we got to do one. We're on it. Thank you, Chris. It's on our list. >> Um, next one is just a little super chat from God Tiered Beef.

[1:23:59] >> Thanks, God Tiered Beef. That's >> You have to read all these. I'm not I'm not getting the option to just see super chat. I wasn't up enough. Here it is. it now. So, yeah. >> Um, next one from Yaku. Uh, well, my

[1:24:13] machine. >> Oh, >> it's brands. >> Does he just have like a little >> Does he already crashing? No, I don't think you can actually obtain it. I

[1:24:27] >> Wow. Okay, I'm going to investigate that cuz >> Yeah. >> Okay, thank you. Sounds good to me. >> We'll think about that one. Um, next one is from ZA Carrie Cooper. Just another

[1:24:40] just a little little super chat sprinkle. I love to see that. But also a member of the team. >> Really good. Thank you for making every >> You genuinely are are bringing a smile to my face. I'd love to see it. Speaking

[1:24:53] of team, welcome to DAS 1487. Welcome to the ET. Did you know you also get 10% off merch? Just saying. Join the team. >> Well, well, >> icons for icons.

[1:25:09] >> Well, well, well. >> Love to see it. Welcome, Dus. Um, and another one from Z Carrie Cooper. Uh, oh, I see. Now, talk about the tea you oh, I see. Now, talk about the tea you catalyzed in the toilet. Tally,

[1:25:22] >> No, >> I'm Well, what can I say? I'm a human >> and I needed a poo. >> I had one. I had a poo. >> Wow. >> Had I had a big old dump in

[1:25:36] >> in the bathroom in the toilet, which is designed for such things. >> God. Um, thank you. >> I might have another one as well. These electrolytes are getting to work.

[1:25:49] >> Thanks, Holy. >> Thanks, Holy. Next one is up from Buddy. Uh, lovely to see you, buddy. Also, a friend and a member of the team. Love it. Love it. Thank you for the super chat. Um, cheers, friends. Blizzcon is

[1:26:01] suddenly four months away. >> [\h__\h] my life. >> Oh my god. Any revised predictions for what we'll see there besides a live >> Yeah, dead mines. Dead mines. Mythic Plus. I I think that's I think you're

[1:26:14] that. I think they are >> Look how enthusiastically everyone whenever I mention it on stream as well. People go [\h__\h] nuts in my chat. People are usually very reserved in my chat. They're quite goo in fact. Uh but

[1:26:27] absolutely crazy. They go haywire. >> Yep. Yeah, they do. I think I think you are on to something. Apart from that, it's going to be Last Titan stuff. hope so. >> It has to be.

[1:26:41] >> Can you imagine if it's not? >> Nothing's happening at Gamescom. I don't >> I haven't heard about a Blizz presence at Gamescom. Certainly, not a Warcraft >> but I don't it doesn't feel like it's the right vehicle.

[1:26:55] >> Blizzcon is literally 2 weeks later. >> Yeah. >> But but wouldn't it be a good way to get like 12.0 12.2 out of the way at Gamescom? A little 12.2 to announcement at Gamescom

[1:27:09] and then focusing on Last Titan for uh Blizzcon. Look, my worry is that they're Maybe >> my my worry is

[1:27:21] >> That they're going to think that Mythic Plus is enough of an announcement for >> Yeah. >> My worry is it's like, okay, well, we'll just give a tantalizing little tease about uh Last Titan because we don't

[1:27:33] want to give anything away for 12 points uh to stuff like that. And like my worry everyone's going to be so hype about it." >> I'm here to tell you, Blizz, that won't

[1:27:46] >> Like people will be very disappointed if there's not like >> Oh, people Well, people want an expansion reveal, man. People want to be a proper expansion reveal as well. >> Like, no, we'll see you in Germany to

[1:28:01] see you in Japan to talk about this a little bit more. A proper full World of >> Like, [\h__\h] do it >> 100%. >> like, yeah, that's what we need. >> Yeah.

[1:28:14] >> Thank you. With deep dives and all that >> Oh, yeah. >> All the usual stuff, right? That's what >> I I really hope and I don't think this is going to happen anymore since the

[1:28:27] Microsoft acquisition. I really want to go back to old school Blizzcons with like that festival feeling where we have some Diablo stuff going on here. We have But no, I don't I think they're on track for the we have

[1:28:42] one main stage and we have one message. >> No, they said I remember um >> I remember Holly saying that they learned some lessons from Blizzcon and I think that's what she meant. >> I I hope so. I hope so because I I

[1:28:56] >> I I hope so. I hope so because I I really miss uh Yeah, I miss the We've got to be in multiple places at once. >> I might not be able to hear about um you know Overwatch. I might I've never made it to the arena to watch Overwatch stuff

[1:29:09] which is a shame once we can get in. >> Yeah, it always look like so much fun. >> Yeah, it always look like so much fun. Um, but uh, you know, I I really hope they bring a little bit of that back because having one main stage for all

[1:29:21] the big news just meant that people were like shuffling around. They're walking just activations, right? Which is fun. Which is fine. There's some uh like

[1:29:33] Cool, too. >> God, I think they were still playing one. I remember like literally there were just like >> There was competitive Starcraft at our

[1:29:46] cool to watch. >> Like God a makes me so I return to that please. >> Yeah. There was there was a variety of stuff happening at once and it felt

[1:29:58] corporatized. It felt like you still found the thing that you were there for. >> I want that. >> I want that too. And I'm I'm I think that it was in those early BlizzCons that we went to. No. The first one being

[1:30:12] that we went to. No. The first one being 2017 or was it? Um I think it'll be more >> I think you're right. I think um they they will hopefully find like a bit of a middle ground. Um like do you remember like being in a hall and like hearing

[1:30:25] because someone like won something or like there was some announcement like felt amazing. Anyway, >> awesome. Also mention of the uh weekly process of booking. Yes. Right now. Eie's on that but the plan at the moment

[1:30:40] well maybe you can say. >> Yeah. So, uh, patrons, friends, um, oh, start sharing this on, uh, for YouTube members as well. >> OH, YEAH. OH, >> THERE'S a perk for you. Um, we I have

[1:30:55] sent out a post, uh, about the weekly reset live, uh, which will be happening this year, the day after Blizzcon, as is customary, which is a Monday. >> Not as good as when it's a Sunday either. good because when it was a

[1:31:11] Sunday, you know, you bl you know, Blues come being on a Friday and Saturday felt good. Sunday, people were hung over, decompressing, traveling home, but it "Yeah, we can stay until uh 12 or whatever. We'll do the weekly reset

[1:31:25] live, then we'll all go home." Now it's on a Monday, which doesn't feel nearly not as many people can come. People are like, "I'm flying back. I'm leaving." anyway. >> Of course we are. Of course we are. Why

[1:31:39] wouldn't we? We Why would we not do the weekly reset? you was going to say we weren't going to be doing it.

[1:31:52] So, Weekly Reset Live is being booked in to happen uh on Monday, probably around time to wake up in the morning and enough time for us to set up, panic, enough time for us to set up, panic, finish writing. Um it is an absolute

[1:32:07] trip. It is a delight to do. Um, so yeah, so sign up to the patron or >> patrons as always will get first dibs. >> Patrons always get first dibs uh for releasing tickets and things. So, uh, we will we will let you know when those go

[1:32:23] as early as we can get away with doing it, but we have to get there. We have to like >> maybe 11:30 or something like that. And if there's anyone about that wants to do it, we'll have a meet up afterwards.

[1:32:36] >> Exactly. So, we'll be in one of the hotels nearby site so you don't have to travel. Uh we will uh do the show hopefully get some good guests on this year. God, we had Dan Olsen last year and peculiar pretty

[1:32:52] Yeah. God, BlizzCon this year. He's so busy. He's so busy. He's the Yeah, he's doing his so busy. He's the Yeah, he's doing his Mr. Beast stuff, isn't he? Um so, so

[1:33:04] yeah, that is the plan. Um, speaking of Weekly Reset Live, uh, we're where we're we're putting out our feelers to kind of our usual contacts, but we are also open to, uh, anyone who has experience in production, live production management,

[1:33:21] uh, anyone who, uh, knows how to produce a smallcale event >> so that we can hire you with real money. >> So that we can pay you real life money to help us get things set up. uh coordinate a few folks, hire some kits,

[1:33:36] and make the show happen. So, I am reaching out to some people at the moment, but if that is your bag, reach out to me and let me know because the weekly reset. >> You're producing all this, aren't you?

[1:33:49] >> Oh, I hate it. >> I'm not a producer. I'm the talent, true. >> Uh yeah. So, um >> Yeah. Well, there we go. So, and and if you know if you are kind of planning

[1:34:04] your trips to Blisscon and what have you, then maybe bear that in mind if >> come along to the weekly reset live. It is always a good show. Fair play. It is >> Good show. And we always just hang out like in the lobby, get food afterwards,

[1:34:16] >> And I can't imagine we get as many people coming this time because of it lovely. >> It'd be so good. Um, and with that in mind, and because of how much fun we had at LFG, we're probably not going to do

[1:34:29] planning for the 10th anniversary. We're going to kind of mix up uh we're going to kind of make the the BlizzCon show the 10 year anniversary show. Is that >> I think so. We might try and organize like literally a little get together in

[1:34:43] rather than a show. >> A meetup rather than a show cuz we're a bit showed out at the moment. And uh but yeah, so we're putting making the big 10 year anniversary show at Blizzcon, but for UK people, for EU people, for yeah,

[1:34:59] It'll be more of like just a get together in the summer when the weather getting a boat. >> We're thinking of getting a boat. >> Not a not an actual sailing boat, but like a stationary boat.

[1:35:14] >> Oh, in the sun. Oh my god, that' be so drink. >> Yes. Yes. So, anyway, that's uh that's some weekly reset related news. Thank you for

[1:35:28] that one, buddy. Uh, next super chat is from Melodia as herself. Hello, Melodia. Lovely to see you. Uh, happy weekend, fun people. Question since we didn't get the Sorry. I love that Thursday afternoon is the weekend. I agree

[1:35:42] wholeheartedly. Oh, no. It says weekday. I read week. >> Happy weekday. >> I set foot into raid in the weekend.

[1:35:54] >> My drain and I was like, "Oh yes, someone much like me." Thursday afternoon is the weekend. Happy weekday. Fun people. Question. Since we didn't get Felissa and Loramar's marriage in game, will we get Rams?

[1:36:08] real. awokes. >> They're They're just going to elope. >> Look, I just miss the good old days of WoW when it was like just a sweaty

[1:36:20] blood elf wrestling with a sweaty void elf. >> Did I do that right? Wait, hang on. >> Huh? Just some verbal sparring, >> you know? Just a little a little bit of

[1:36:34] >> Uh yeah. >> Yeah. Well, I mean, so the the upgrade thing, the little talent tree thing in 12.0.7, >> that's their is pretty much their baby and you are

[1:36:47] their surrogate. And like uh you got to you got to bring them all everything they need. But it's great because you get to hang out in the library uh from from Majesty's Terrace and uh you get to hang out with them and it's good. So

[1:36:59] yeah, like the the the gradual kind of blossoming of their story, babe. >> No. Rekindkindling, I should say, in that case. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I love it. I love their energy. But who knows? I

[1:37:14] >> Yeah. I would like to see it. >> I would like to see that, you know. No, to be >> Give me one. No, [\h__\h] it. Give me one of

[1:37:28] make it love. >> Wow. Uh, moving on. Next one. Um, Yarku, thank you so much, Yoku. Worst to sell when exteriors, interiors are so

[1:37:40] lacking. >> I guess we're talking about the tree. >> Oh, exteriors. Look, I'm with you. Okay, look, I hate the shop. Yeah, Yaku. I I I do. But I I think it's also possible to kind of like

[1:37:53] lose sight of the, you know, not not see the forest for the trees as it were the shop. But like there's loads of stuff in housing. Like there's so much you can you can you know that you might not have like loads of

[1:38:08] different types of racial exteriors that you can just like flat out put there. But you can make the exterior of your house look like whatever you want. >> Well, eventually, but they're not here now. So, I get it. But like you can like

[1:38:21] look like whatever you want. And people do. You have the tools for that. You have like the decor for that. And likewise inside like you can make whatever you want. Like there's so much stuff. There's so much gameplay with

[1:38:35] do that, the stuff that is just available at the vendors, you can make pretty much anything you want. Like I I I think like >> I am also angry about the shop stuff. I also don't like the shop stuff. But

[1:38:47] I'm not saying this is what you're doing. I think but but I I in criticism of it a lot. You know, I see people making out that there is nothing in housing and it's like, are you serious? There's so much

[1:39:01] >> Yeah, there's a lot. Yeah, >> it's insane. Um and and like why Yeah. shop stuff is because it draws the attention away from that. And I think people, you know, a lot of a lot of people criticizing WoW always comes from

[1:39:17] playing, right? I get that. >> But there is that thing of like that's putting all their effort into stuff in the shop and there's not like there's there's like hundreds of new decor every patch like there's loads. However,

[1:39:32] >> never has there been something so beautifully pre-made as the exterior. >> And come for interiors as well. They're going to start doing that. Of course, all pre-made interiors, all pre-made everything. And here's the thing,

[1:39:45] they're always going to look like a little bit more beautiful because it doesn't matter how insanely talented you are cuz there are some unbelievably >> Like >> I know you're right. You're right.

[1:39:57] >> You know, they're they're so you know, I feel you. And uh Moxen's super chat following up on this. They always keep the best stuff for the store, but designed animated assets. >> Having said that, have you [\h__\h] seen

[1:40:10] >> Yeah, it is. you know, but >> nothing from the store on there. >> nothing from the store on there. >> There is, but yeah, I I think um yeah, there's something to be said about like the human touch. Like the the just the

[1:40:23] understand. Am I the human or is the people making the stuff for the store? >> Well, you know, humans are touching that too, right? But I mean, but the actual scenario. >> You are the human in this scenario. You

[1:40:36] assembled the thing. You made it. It might look a little janky, but you did there, right? >> I am not a talented person, okay? I am player housing, but I made this. >> You were great at player housing. Look,

[1:40:51] I made this beautiful. I'm basically [\h__\h] And I made this. This is 100% stuff that you know is available on game in game. You know, nothing from the >> Yeah. >> Um cuz like I say, I will not be [\h__\h]

[1:41:05] with that Hearthstone [\h__\h] Okay. I'm like, is the empty room that I couldn't bring myself to start working on, but you know. Yeah. Exactly. Exactly. Let's close that one. It's fine. But like this

[1:41:17] is I'm so proud of this little house. It took me ages, but this is all just [\h__\h] that you you can get in game and like there's I could have made it look like >> you know? Um >> I think that might be the thing that

[1:41:29] people struggle with. I think people are like, you know, they see the empty room, can't make anything. >> Oh god. I mean, I do. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> kind of like when I'm writing a video, like I sit there looking at that empty

[1:41:42] page for a million years and then I bash it all out in like a couple of hours, hours. Do you know what I mean? It's like, and I it's like that in housing as well. I'll sit there like, >> come back to it after whatever. And then

[1:41:56] one day, I've just got that little spark and I come in and I I waste a lot of >> It looks amazing. >> It looks It does look good. I'm so proud >> So beautiful. And it like it's made me want to make the rest of the house this

[1:42:08] good as well now. So like but what I'm saying is like the tools are there to make some of the most incredible stuff you've ever seen. And that's always like the shop and put it in there and that makes you happy that's awesome. But I

[1:42:21] in housing, >> you're always going to feel a bigger >> you're always going to feel a bigger sense of achievement and ownership by by And like that's and and god when when exports and import strings come in

[1:42:35] at all cuz you'll just be like getting your favorite streamers and and like Yeah. Yeah. >> Gosh. Wow. a huge democratizing force as well because someone would be like well I

[1:42:49] can't be bothered to make this amazing thing and at the moment if you can't be nice thing the only thing to do is go to the shop whereas once import and export export strings come in and granted they're not here. So, but they will even

[1:43:03] going to be a hugely democratizing thing. It's like I don't have to go to >> I, you know, I can go to my favorite creator and they've got all these Yeah. >> Um, so yeah. Anyway, sorry, but that's

[1:43:17] >> I'm not trying to argue against the point you're making. you're making. I'm just kind of expanding on it a little bit more. That's all. Yeah. >> Uh, next one. Welcome SSM Devil to the

[1:43:31] team. Love to see it. Good to have you. SSM Devil being the Shawn I believe. >> Love to see the Sean. Welcome to the team here. Love to see it. Uh, next one the super chat. Super excited to be getting uh to go to Blizzcon for the

[1:43:46] first time this year. Do you have any advice about attending? Is it worth to stay at a hotel near the con? Things to do or avoid doing? Okay, here's a super do or avoid doing? Okay, here's a super quick rundown of what to do, what not to

[1:43:59] do. But >> one might even say, >> let's run down. >> So, I did it. I did it. >> Sorry. Okay, go for it. Yeah. >> Just want to do the bit, man. It's our

[1:44:11] thing. >> Um, uh, so, uh, first advice, yes, uh, it is worth staying in a hotel near the convention center. There are loads of them. There are tons of them. Uh the Hilton and the Marriott are the ones

[1:44:24] that are like literally on the doorstep. There are I think about 10 other hotels >> What did they say for FanFest? >> That was a nice one. same block. Yeah. >> Yeah. But it's such a the blocks like

[1:44:38] liked it. >> I like that one. >> Something sweets. Uh Double Tree Suites. >> Yeah, that was the Double Tree Suites uh on like West Catella Avenue. Again, it's on the same block. Blocks are huge. It's

[1:44:51] about a 10-minute 8 to 10 minute walk um to the convention center. Uh but there are loads of hotels, have a look. I know they're going to be like mega expensive. Um if you're going with guildies, I know people hire out like guild houses for

[1:45:05] the for the week and stuff like that. If not, um yeah, have a look. Huge huge amount of choice. Don't feel like you just have to go to the Hilton or the >> Mar. It is more expensive to stay in those places. And look, man, we're

[1:45:18] stay there in our entire lives. Like we've been very lucky. We couldn't like you know if if if we didn't get taken there by Blizz or Square then like we the the plane tickets and the hotel cost and stuff. It's just too much.

[1:45:34] >> Yeah. No, it's it is an insane expense especially if you're traveling. up with gildies and stuff like that. It's quite common to get like guild It's quite common to get like guild houses just out of uh Anaheim and like

[1:45:46] there and stuff like that and and sort American, none of you are kind of local that's a bit harder. Um but like uh yeah no I've always been jealous of people that get like guild houses and stuff

[1:45:59] like that and there are loads of Airbnbs and again it's like Disney is there so walking distance but also just like Uber >> There's no shortage. So the further out you get obviously um you know the less

[1:46:14] expensive it can be. If you want to go all fun and bougie you can stay in like one you know Santa Monica or whatever stay in LA right go you know >> bit of a trek. So yeah, um lots of options, lots of

[1:46:28] >> Uber and the reason we're even mentioning that is because like a a big part of Blizzcon is just being in the area, not just the convention itself, at the Hilton, which obviously you can go to the Hilton Bar if whether or not

[1:46:43] there's always stuff going on and that goes into the night and then you have you have stuff like Wowhead uh making kind of like events. there's always like other people making events and they use generally they use the Hilton and the

[1:46:57] Marriott to stage those events in kind of rooms there mostly in in the Hilton. Um there's always like you know your favorite streamer or YouTuber will probably be having a meetup for their community somewhere like at a bowling

[1:47:11] alley or like in a bar nearby or something like that. So you know like things. So being in the area is is really very much an experience. Like you would be missing out if you just drove in, went to the convention, kept

[1:47:25] convention center, left, drove out again, right? It's like it's kind of right? >> Um uh tips. Uh if you can get your pick up your badge the day before, that is uh useful. I know they used to do that with

[1:47:39] opening >> ceremony. Well, exactly. Exactly. Um uh it is. Yeah. And it depends on like how how they're going to stage it again this year, but the opening ceremony and the closing ceremony are brilliant. The

[1:47:53] is hosting this year. >> Nice. night which is like kind of cosplay stuff. Uh all of the kind of like art music competitions and stuff which are really really brilliant. Uh obviously

[1:48:06] really really brilliant. Uh obviously there's a huge like shopping presents. You can just stock up on merch if that's your thing. Um, but yeah, it's a it is a really really great time. Um, people are if you're if it's your first one, people

[1:48:20] are like really friendly. People are really nice. Um, it's just a really really cool spot to hang out with people who are all into the same thing. Um, uh, there are food trucks outside like down the front. If you've never been to the

[1:48:34] convention center, um, you can get some food to eat there. Um, and yeah, obviously the hotels are nearby if you want to grab uh something there. So, um, yeah, my my advice, uh, bring some hand sanitizer.

[1:48:48] >> If you're like hugging or shaking hands with people, uh, bring water. Definitely bring water. Um, and yeah, be prepared to be walking a lot. If if you haven't to be walking a lot. If if you haven't done like a big convention, con legs are

[1:49:02] >> Oh, yeah. Wear comfy shoes for sure. When they had no seating last Blizzcon, there was no seating anywhere. >> Don't wear comfy loafers like me. Wear like good [\h__\h] trainers, right? >> Wear the comfy shoes.

[1:49:15] >> Wear the comfy ones. They can still be com [\h__\h] comy. shoes. >> Yeah, but however you combine, you can be comfy and comfy at the same time. How do you mean this? I feel like that's my

[1:49:27] do you mean this? I feel like that's my whole vibe these days. Um, yeah, that short advice. Hopefully something there is useful. We hope you have an amazing >> We'd love to say hi. >> Oh yeah, that's that's the absolute like

[1:49:41] >> Oh yeah, that's that's the absolute like top tip. If you see us, say hi. >> Exactly. Like we always we'll always say hi to you. Yeah, which we love that. >> Um I hope that helped. Next one is from SSMouble. Me equals the Sean as always.

[1:49:56] >> You were right. How did you know? >> Love it. Love to see you Sean and welcome to the team and thank you for the super generous super chat. We love it. Love to see it. Uh next one is from Sixton. Hello Sixton. Just chatting to

[1:50:10] chat. Thank you podcast. Thank you. Thank you Sixton. Um good to see you friend. Uh next one is from Za Carrie Cooper. Leaving to go to sleep. Australia. Oh. >> Oh wow. You you like made it.

[1:50:26] >> You made it pretty far on that one mate. am using nicely and uh hopefully this podcast will greet you when you awake. Ah, just like Tally peering over you as your eyes open. Yeah, we've all had that dream, right?

[1:50:42] Like >> it's never a dream when you do it. >> it's never a dream when you do it. >> Uh M uh Mirth Van Beast. Hi, I'm the Oh, Did you see the goblin? >> Yeah, I did. I did. I mean, I left the

[1:50:57] >> I just realized you can't read what I was saying, but I said, "Hi, Mom. I'm on was saying, but I said, "Hi, Mom. I'm on TV." >> do you speak Furborg? >> Yeah, exactly.

[1:51:12] Uh, next one is from Erinria. So nice to see you. What are you putting odds at for new race class combos before the end of midnight? Uh >> ah I really want Culier and Night elf palies. Um

[1:51:28] shamans. >> I I think I think the odds are still the table. >> Like I think that's the one for this where it's heading. >> Demon Hunters I feel like we kind of

[1:51:41] >> I I just I I don't think there's an appetite in Blizz. >> Yeah. Um, so I but Paladins I think is still a very very solid shout, >> especially after what what uh you know, Maria Hamilton said.

[1:51:55] >> Yeah. Forsaken Palies. Yeah. I I play the [\h__\h] out of Forsaken Pal. You have >> Yeah. >> Yeah. Like I I love Forsaken [\h__\h] Yeah. that. >> Yeah.

[1:52:09] >> Yeah. >> It's true. Um, next one is from Moxen. gifting 10 Latin memberships. >> Look at how happy you've made her, Mox. >> Look at the pure joy in her face. >> I need a drink of my instant.

[1:52:25] >> No, that's going to be too much happiness all at once. You'll explode. Whatever you do. >> I I don't dare do that. That's quite strong. It's only on two. It's only on two. Um, thank you so much, Moxen. Oh,

[1:52:41] two. Um, thank you so much, Moxen. Oh, for being an absolute sucrose glucose just um a friend of the channel. We'd love to see it. And a member, a member of the team. >> Thank you. And congratulations to the 10

[1:53:34] Uh, love to see you, friend. Uh, also a member. Loved the quest to join a party in a home. I just kept joining groups all week to tour houses, make friends. >> you know, >> it's easier to be social and enjoy that

[1:53:48] element of housing if you're in a great community. But, you know, if you go out yeah, I love that quest. That's the second time that quest has been up Like, you know, after I finished raid or whatever, I would just go to my little

[1:54:01] treehouse and I'd put it on group finder and be like, "Just come around my gaff all come in and like just random people and they'd come in. They'd be like, "Oh, >> I like that stuff. >> It's really really good. Uh, also four

[1:54:15] >> I kind of wish that quest was up every single week, actually. because I haven't done it yet. >> I like the mail quests. I think they're good. Yeah. >> Yeah. Uh, next one is from Matt

[1:54:27] Marinovich. Thank you for the super chat, Cheerio team. There are watchtowers and lighouses in each faction housing area. Maybe we can get >> Well, do you remember in the very first interview we did about housing? Well, I

[1:54:40] >> Uh, yes, I know. >> I asked if if like the watchtower that we'd seen in the outside because that was the first time we'd ever seen any neighborhoods. I asked if we'd be able to make those watchtowers and maybe they

[1:54:52] to make those watchtowers and maybe they misunderstood, but they did say yes. M >> That's what I'm saying. >> Okay, I hear what you're saying and I like it. Uh, next one is from Moxen again. Hi, Moxen. I'm waiting for troll

[1:55:05] again. Hi, Moxen. I'm waiting for troll themed exteriors. Yes, dude. Uh, are we >> That would be incredible. >> You can already make amazing troll you get all the Ammani [\h__\h] right? >> Oh my god. I had to look through all the

[1:55:19] Amani stuff. Actually, all of like kind of the fungal and the harendar stuff is >> I I've got some really nice onions like on a string in my kitchen now thanks to thanks to Hariner questing. >> Yeah, I love that. Um I'm waiting for

[1:55:34] troll themed exteriors and inside walls like troll Okay, fair. Yeah, troll walls Thought about doing an Ammani hut. The real door up top. >> Yeah, nice. Super cool. Yeah, really

[1:55:46] obviously we want we want like, you >> pre-built kind of facads and exteriors as well. But if you want a troll house, >> Just just build it. >> Yeah,

[1:55:59] >> When they see it, they'll be like, so good. >> Uh, Yaku, thank you so much, Yaku. Meant to say, I think people will be less once we get more non-paid options. Absolutely. that those well they're not

[1:56:14] the first ones cuz the blood elf ones came and the night elf ones came but why don't they count >> um because they're not good I think the blood elf one is fine I think the night elf exteriors are [\h__\h] they look like a

[1:56:27] elf exteriors are [\h__\h] they look like a like literal I I hate them sorry I'm a night elf player I hate the exteriors I feel like modular building for night elf >> yeah I've made you full screen yeah >> sorry it doesn't make sense it doesn't

[1:56:43] feel right. It does. Like I just feel like it's hard. Personally, I feel like it's hard. Maybe this is a skill issue for me. It is hard to make the night elf exterior look good. I think it's hard. I feel like the more you start adding bits

[1:56:56] onto it, it just looks like a kind of amorphous blob. I'm sorry. Maybe I just had a run in with it this morning that I didn't like. >> Were you trying to make your tree house? >> Yeah. I'm sorry.

[1:57:11] >> It did. didn't it? My gosh. >> Uh it just sucks hard to make a nicel looking night elf exterior when it's so [\h__\h] easy to buy one. >> I've seen Wow. >> Sorry. But I think that I think that's

[1:57:26] fits into the the fact that Yeah. I feel like if the the fact that Yeah. I feel like if we had more nice pre-built exteriors, more racial exteriors, people >> I don't want can I can I can I I want

[1:57:38] not? >> Okay. Do you know how [\h__\h] much it sucks >> that the first big expensive house exterior that they put on the [\h__\h] shop is something that I had spent ages

[1:57:50] >> I know. I know. >> Like I was like, I'm going to make a treehouse. What a great idea. And I spent so [\h__\h] long making my treehouse. And the first [\h__\h] thing they put on the shop was a [\h__\h]

[1:58:02] like? THAT FEELS LIKE [\h__\h] THAT FEELS worse than being like, "Oh, I want to be able to make the treehouse." No, no, no. I did make the treehouse and now it's on Feels bad. >> A treehouse was one of the first things

[1:58:16] we built. I built on like the alpha, right? To the point that if you go onto Pinterest and you search the and it was literally one of the first kind of experiments that I did because it felt right. So yeah, it and again I'm going

[1:58:29] to talk about this in my video. Tree houses >> symbols of childhood of like your home as a child. Like what's the first thing you kind of think of, you know, as a place that's an escape? As like that's

[1:58:42] kind of fantastical, but also like your little safe place. Like they've taken >> And like put it on the Oh, I >> This is meant to be a short one today. >> Keep going. Keep going. Okay. But anyway, I agree. More more exteriors. It

[1:58:56] anyway, I agree. More more exteriors. It does feel a bit gling right now. Um Yaku just sent a gift membership. Thank you so much, Yaku. That's amazing. Um, enjoy uh Teemo who has received that one. Uh, and Moxen. I think I think the lover had

[1:59:09] more class languages. Oh, like Calamag, the shared elemental language for >> That would be fun. >> We got Furbulk. I know that's not a language that we can all use like across faction and stuff like that, which is

[1:59:23] >> Um, and uh, it's actually really it is actually really fun where you're doing like, >> do you speak Furbulk? It's like, yeah, I do. Yeah, I think I think Yeah, I think there's something cool. I would love

[1:59:37] them to expand on that. Be really good. Uh and then finally, Chris W gifting a Uh and then finally, Chris W gifting a T& membership to uh it's no ghost. Uh congratulations. Please enjoy that. Uh enjoy your power that you wield. Sorry
