i tracked my mood every single day for a year because apparently I needed a spreadsheet to tell me if I was happy Each night I rated my day on a scale from minus1 to plus two hoping to find patterns in my happiness At first it was really difficult to tell because my mood changes constantly sometimes within the same day sometimes within the same hour But as I continued to do this experiment I started to dial in
on a system that worked for me January 6th spent 6 hours trying to screw eight holes into a wall Score minus one March 20th ate two donuts played Last of Us Score plus one October 13th got Natt pregnant Score plus two And after a year the results were eye opening I had 69 amazing days 169 good days 98 fine days 25 bad days and four awful days Overall a pretty good year But the real insight the
