This guide provides a step-by-step walkthrough for solving the puzzles on the CEG building's ground floor in Silent Hill Townfall. It covers obtaining the security office code, collecting document halves, finding Richard's lockbox, and printing an access card to reach the executive level.
The whiteboard in the maintenance room shows the number 4 with arrows, which map to keypad positions. Following the arrows gives the code 4895.
Inside the security office, check the trash bin next to the VHF transceiver for a ripped document with codes. The other half is in the maintenance room's trash bin.
Combine the two document halves in the inventory to get a complete grid of codes.
Richard's box code is 36. Find the lockbox on the third row from the front, sixth from the left. Use the grid to get the code 486.
Opening any lockbox besides Richard's will damage you.
Power on the computer and access card printer, search for user, enter ID 00007820518, and generate the access card. Select the lighter gray option.
By following the whiteboard arrows, collecting both document halves, and using Richard's ID, you can bypass the ground floor puzzles and reach the executive level. The guide provides a clear, sequential path through the CEG building's obstacles.

03:05[00:00] So you've made it past a giant barrier blocking the road in Clara Woods in Silent Hill Townfall, only to be held back by another barrier in the CEG building's ground floor. Don't worry, in this guide we'll show you exactly how you solve the multiple puzzles on this floor,
[00:14] so you'll be able to take the elevator all the way up to the executive level. In order to enter the elevator, we'll need to obtain an access card.
[00:28] we can make that card inside the security office unfortunately there's a keypad lock on the security office door on the opposite side of the building inside the maintenance office there's a mysterious whiteboard message showing the number four with a bunch of arrows this is actually our
[00:43] guide to find out the code to the security office think of the arrows as the position of numbers on the security office door keypad the first digit will be four then if we follow the diagonal arrow we get 8, following it down gives us 9, and diagonal again gives us 5. Put it all together,
[00:59] and we get the code 4895. Once inside the security office, you'll find a computer that is able to print elevator access cards for us. We're not fully ready for that just yet though. For now,
[01:11] turn around and tune into the VHF transceiver, which will give us a bit more story, as well as point us towards the press conference area on the other side of the floor. Before we leave the security office, check the trash bin on the right side of the VHF transceiver. In that trash bin,
[01:26] we'll find a new document that has a series of codes on it. The document is ripped in half, but that's no problem, since we can find the other half in the maintenance room. On the opposite side of the whiteboard in that room, near the computer, check the trash bin to find the other half of the
[01:40] document. If you go into your inventory, you can combine these two documents to make the complete grid of codes Near the press conference area opposite to the maintenance room we find a with a box IDs and names document on top of it If we read the document we find that Richard box code is 36
[01:59] In front of us, we'll see rows and rows of black lockboxes, each with numbers labeled on top of them. The goal is to find and open Richard's lockbox, designated by the number 36 written on top of it.
[02:11] You can find it on the third row from the front, sixth from the left. To open the box, we need a three digit code, which we can find in that grid of codes document. Look at the code that matches the physical position of Richard's box, and we get the
[02:23] code 486. When you open the lockbox, you'll find the employee file cover note document. Examining that document will give us another code with Richard's ID on it. You might be wondering about all the other lockboxes inside the room.
[02:38] While you do have the codes to open them, I wouldn't recommend it, because any lockbox you open besides Richard's will damage you. Remember the computer next to the access card printer in the security room?
[02:53] Head back over there and power on both the access card printer and the computer. After you select Search for User, you'll be prompted to enter in an ID. Now that we have Richard's credentials, we'll be able to make a copy of his access card.
[03:05] Simply enter 00007820518 and select Generate Access Card.
[03:17] Note your selection on the computer is actually the lighter gray color, as opposed to the darker gray you'd normally expect. Now grab the card, head back to the elevator, and you'll finally be able to reach the 10th floor of the CEG building.
