[00:04] day. Another day, another dollar. Another Alpha report. Another day back in the trenches. Everybody out there just trying to make a buck. We got lots of things going on today.

[00:20] Such as Trade Desk shares jumping after OpenAI report about preliminary discussions about a partnership with OpenAI. this one is we actually read the Trade Desk earnings call back on January 21st

[00:36] and found that Trade Desk was already hinting at a partnership with a chatbot in January 2021. You can actually go back to our course member live stream on Now, we didn't buy the stock then because we thought it was still too

[00:50] risky, but it and it's actually still down from there. But, it's really interesting to see how if you read these earnings calls regularly, which we do on a regular basis when we do our fundamental analysis, you can find a lot

[01:03] of hints in earnings calls before these things actually become news. Then, in the meantime, it looks like OpenAI is also prepping for IPOs.

[01:15] And obviously big jobs day tomorrow, so we'll see, man. Maybe maybe we'll actually get a a labor market that helps sustain an IPO Elon's got his his fingers crossed for. I'm actually

[01:30] pretty optimistic that if we can hold up the labor market, you can go back into the labor market, you can go back into an IPO market. And I really hope SpaceX IPOs and and skyrockets over two trillion dollars just so, you know, in

[01:44] my venture capital fund we can dump it and make as much money as possible. Maybe I shouldn't be forecasting and sort of wearing my plan on my sleeve like that, but I guess I kind of am. So, anyway,

[01:59] listing is one of the first concrete steps GPT maker has made towards a public listing. Usually proceeds other steps such as appointing investment banks to advise on the process. Yeah.

[02:20] including stock sell-offs, blah blah blah. Open AI execs have said they can go public as soon as the fourth quarter where they're laying the groundwork to do so. That's why Elon wants to beat them.

[02:34] this was also interesting. There was some news about Jensen saying that yeah, they're going to do the $30 billion but $100 billion is probably not on the cards. Now Jensen is saying because they're going public and he won't need

[02:46] to invest. I don't know about that, but you know, whatever. Jensen's got enough to keep the flywheel going for the next year, I suppose.

[02:58] So Amazon's also conditioning their extra $35 billion on an IPO. Uh, going to be interesting. Going to be very interesting. See how the rest of the year goes. Open

[03:13] AI tops $25 billion ARR at least according to it end of the month. Now that is interesting because there was so much talk when Gemini was taking over about Open AI usage slowing down.

[03:26] has still gone up. So I mean good for them if this is true. them if this is true. Uh, Anthropic is at $19 billion. Wow. Claude's really blown up with paying customers, huh?

[03:40] Yeah. And then remember the majority of AI users don't actually use Oh yeah, see. It's almost certain almost looking like an S curve. uh very interesting.

[03:54] I think a lot of people who do pay, pay for multiple of them. Like, you know, you'll pay for Anthropic, you'll pay for Gemini, and you'll pay for OpenAI. You know, that's that's always possible. So, uh what do we have here? We've got

[04:09] Q's a nice bounce off of 607 here. We had that 607 line in the pre-market. So, it didn't give us really much of a line to play beyond holding 607, which has been essentially straight up since that line here. And Tesla just turned

[04:24] green. Let's go. Gain the lead. That's awesome. And uh we got a labor report coming out tomorrow. Let us pull up the estimates are for tomorrow. So, tomorrow,

[04:37] tomorrow. Yes, no, it's All right, here we go. So, Yes, no, it's All right, here we go. So, tomorrow's jobs report, we are looking jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs jobs

[04:51] jobs jobs jobs jobs 65,000 on the private payrolls and 55 on non-farm. Probably going to get it. It'll probably be a positive report. Uh I'm pretty optimistic about it.

[05:04] I don't think we'll get anything negative. Challengers were good, ADP were good. The only thing we're sitting is what's going on in Iran. Uh you know, there's there's some complacency going on with the Strait of

[05:18] Uh you've probably got more pain coming on uh oil prices. Let's go see how we're doing over here. 10-year Treasury's up at 4:13, roughly,

[05:33] which isn't great for the mortgage market. I've got oil. I mean, this still seems low to me. 84 bucks on Brent with in the middle of war. It It it feels like we should be knocking on the door of a hundred with

[05:49] how aggressive these attacks are. So, you know, probably bullish oil actually in the short term. I think people think this war is going to end rapidly. You war is going to end rapidly, too. Like I

[06:02] I you know, um I was wrong about um what is it? The uh Israel invasion. I thought that was going to be like a blitzkrieg, you know, and it turned into blitzkrieg, you know, and it turned into like this over 2-year process.

[06:15] like this over 2-year process. Uh and boy, that was hell. I think that Bitcoin is somewhat snuffing out some of the positivity in the labor market. Uh and you know, gold and silver have

[06:30] still topped since war sh- So, my top call is still in the bag on gold and But um yeah, let's go uh let's go take a peek at uh what the doomers have. So, the doomers today, they're telling us

[06:46] new wave of air strikes target Iran's IRGC. Well, of course. Like uh Greg Greg Abel vows to use all his pay to buy the firm's stock. Cuz he actually gets a really good salary versus Warren Buffett's, you

[07:01] worth in stock, it didn't really matter, right? Uh Iran shifts from using missiles to drones. Yeah. BYD stakes growth on batteries and charging with China sales slowing. Job

[07:14] market claims stay low and sign of steadying labor market. Claims are very I say it every time. Claims are kind of useless. I don't really pay attention to claims. I look at Challenger, uh which was good this morning. I look at ADP.

[07:28] We can go look at them really quick. Uh Challenger jobs report and Challenger jobs report and uh ADP private sector jobs report.

[07:42] All right. All right. Let's take a look here. Oh, thanks Crazy Tall. Great channel. I've been watching you on and off. Why off? Since before the pandemic, economy the most real world. Oh, thank you. Thank you for the glaze. I

[07:55] know, I feel a little down in the dumps then and then I come come today. I turn on the stream and within 5 minutes I get such a nice compliment.

[08:08] What can I say? Uh okay, 63,000 for ADP. So, let's actually get the full report here so we can get the details. I want to see the Uh let's see. Let me download this puppy.

[08:22] let's see. Let me download this puppy. ADP report 3 5 26 Uh

[08:34] up, homie? For white pipe WHITE PIPE. Uh so I like your background. I like your

[08:48] peepee there, A Subs. I said he has a good one. Uh all right, ADP jobs for private sector employment increased by 63,000 jobs in February. Annual pay was up 4 and 1/2%. That's actually good. Uh let

[09:02] me go over here. Pay insights. Yeah, this isn't all collapsing. Unchanged. Yeah. Yeah, that's actually that's actually pretty decent. So, that's actually pretty decent. So, uh this is stable and a positive sign

[09:16] for the economy, right? Uh this is bullish. I mean, this is now we're getting we're about 3 months in a row now on bullish jobs data. About 3 months in a row now

[09:30] on bullish job data. Uh which is great for rebound. You know, really good. So, I mean no nobody wants a recession, right? a recession, right? So

[09:45] money is being made. So the least money's being made in information. Most of it financial activities. Maybe everybody's going to go work for Ross Gerber. Ross Gerber ASOPS go work for Ross. He's hiring

[09:59] financial advisors. You can come down to the Santa Monica. Come down to where the libtards rule. And then you can sell products and And then you can sell products and services to them and make money.

[10:15] All right. So what else what's in here? is great. On their report of 26 million, we've seen increases in hiring and pay

[10:29] Hiring was concentrated in a few sectors. Um Let's see here. Education and health. Wow, dude. Leisure and hospitality Well, I mean it's after the season. So maybe

[10:43] I mean it's after the season. So maybe that's not a surprise. Yeah, none of this is bad, man. Like this is

[10:55] small as that. Wow, bro. Small hiring 60. That's impressive. That's This is actually an impressive report. And it's somewhat aligned with what we got in the ISM and S&P with you know, February

[11:11] showing second successive count in head counts here in February data. Not off a cliff over here in the data. So this is not bad. Not bad at all. No rate cut this year, yeah? Yeah,

[11:25] that's that's probably true. Okay, so

[11:39] artwork, parties, and rapper. Yeah, I'm telling you these these Some companies of money. Uh the walls of MFS were a shrine,

[11:53] were a shrine, autographed cricket bats, boxing gloves autographed cricket bats, boxing gloves on display, jerseys.

[12:06] bankruptcy official arrived, the walls were largely bare. They took all the crap. Wow. They just quickly removed everything.

[12:19] 930 million dollar a million pound shortfall. What is that, like 1.3 billion dollars? Cuz of the double pegging of assets. Freaking scammers.

[12:36] more than the government, I may start changing my mind. Yeah, I mean I think ADP this I mean the the only red flag would be potentially potentially that it's the beginning of the year and businesses are optimistic at the

[12:51] beginning of the year and uh and then then reality hits, you know, sales slow down. So, um I don't know. I mean, we hired at the start of the year, too.

[13:08] Virgin Galactic. BrainTech startup raises money to cure BrainTech startup raises money to cure blindness. That's cool.

[13:21] Toronto home prices declined for a ninth month. When is it time to buy the dip in Should we go over there and buy some garages garages and make some progress again?

[13:35] Our Canadian friends in Toronto. Go buy the dip. Buy the dip in Canada. Guide to the fault lines in credit markets. Take a look at that. That sounds entertaining.

[13:49] Easy money loans backfire on rookies in the home flipping market. Well, duh. Shit's always those short-term loans that screw people. What's going on in Toronto? Toronto ninth straight month in February

[14:02] as persistent economic uncertainty sapped confidence. Benchmark home dropped to 683 data released Thursday by the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board. Stagnated

[14:15] due to the trade war. Uh Many would-be buyers are waiting to buy. The prices are getting cheaper.

[14:31] What happened to the queues? Everybody all of a sudden's wetting the bed. Hey, yo, what the hell, homie? It was supposed to happen at lunchtime. The market was supposed to sell off at lunchtime. It decided to sell off a

[14:46] little bit earlier than expected today. It came earlier. You know, sometimes we can't predict it with perfection, but tomorrow is a big Jobs data day, so a lot of people get nervous the day before Jobs data. But usually that happens

[15:01] around lunchtime right here. It looks like some of that nervousness has come a like some of that nervousness has come a little bit early today. Jane Street. Yep. She's back at it again.

[15:15] Jane Street's a firm, and there's a big meme that uh they they always crypto dumped at exactly 10:30. Uh which is in 4 minutes.

[15:28] receipt more than a decade of loose lending came clear view on Sep 28th was brands and then came tricolor. Blah, blah, blah. Anatomy of the new credit fund is. Where did the lending come from? Non-bank financial intermediaries

[15:44] is interesting. Default rates remain low. let's see here. Growing mountain of debt may be riskier than it appears. Uh

[15:59] investors flooded energy energized credit markets. credit markets. Old safeguards losses as they got rid of safeguards. Oh, well, no. They they kept safeguards.

[16:15] Oh, well, no. They they kept safeguards. Okay. But the setbacks began to pile up. Debt started getting slashed. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

[16:29] market conditions should change quickly. I agree. With interest rates likely to stay high and foreign investors casting an increasingly skeptical eye on assets, potential triggers abound. Already some investors nervous about

[16:41] when it comes to financing risky companies. risk fueling a cycle that curbs trading, makes it harder to sell,

[16:54] increasing heavy losses in private credit. investors all but hopeless. Yeah, you don't want to invest in this

[17:08] Another concern is that the boom in private loans is making the whole market private loans is making the whole market more opaque.

[17:21] >> Valuations of private loans on the other hand are generally provided and are ultimately determined by the very lender that holds the debt. very lender that holds the debt. Consider the collapse of Renovo.

[17:42] A lot of these we already know, that's why I'm skimming a little bit. the rapid growth of the industry. Increasingly, they're providing some of the financing that has allowed the sector to boom. Right. That's what I'm

[17:56] concerned about is that private like the larger banks are actually lending to And I think a lot of people are not paying attention to this risk right paying attention to this risk right here.

[18:12] is a meme. Uh yes, they were told by the SEC to stop. Yes. I'm saying that people are memeing it and they're putting pictures of this and they're putting pictures of this lady uh up that they found on Facebook

[18:24] called her name was her name's like Jane Street. I can't find it, but it's some old lady. So, some like grandma named Jane Street on Facebook. And so, people are using her as a meme to represent the company.

[18:37] That's why I said she's selling. That's the meme. You see like Anyway, sorry. Two Kevin, you went too deep. This is why we keep it simple. This is why we use words like pee pee up, pee pee down.

[18:54] use words like pee pee up, pee pee down. >> Little pee pee, big pee pee. Welcome. Nice to have you. So, you want to talk about love making, right?

[19:07] financial institutions to think about. Uh insurance and annuity providers are Uh insurance and annuity providers are owned by private equity themselves. Uh let's see here.

[19:24] liquid many assets they hold a structure big critics of the structures that goes strategies used to repackage risk in the financial crisis. Right. Basically, financial crisis. Right. Basically, you go into recession, you're cooked.

[19:40] market. Yeah, I got to work on the on the Trump accent. I haven't listened to a lot of Trump lately. I've been really burned out of listening to Donald Trump. So, I've stopped listening to his press conferences and instead I just read the

[19:54] things that actually matter. Um Um which is far and few between. okay, let's see here. So, when you see what you see now is massive growth at

[20:07] small rating agencies taking the box of compliance. Right. All right, yeah. So, if we go into recession, we're absolutely cooked.

[20:21] to whack the banking system to some extent at least. Got it. Can you look at the Starwood capital deal with Mara? So, I'm going to guess. Did they buy like land for data centers? Starwood data capital cuz that's smart.

[20:37] smart. Uh Mara Yo, what's going on? What is all this?

[20:52] Go away. Pop-ups. Pop-ups. Uh oh my god. F off. Where is there.

[21:08] leverage AI demands uh blah blah blah. What's the deal? people suck. F off.

[21:20] Freaking losers. You write like a bot. I'm not going to read your website. Yeah. There it is. Bloomberg. There it Mara partners with Starwood to develop AI data centers. There you go.

[21:36] Uh it's cuz they're a real estate play to develop some of the existing sites shares jumped 15%. The data center development platform for private tenant sourcing, construction, and facilities operations. Well, Mara

[21:50] contributes some of its sites. Wait a second. Mara is going to contribute the second. Mara is going to contribute the real estate. weaves basically. That's what they're doing.

[22:07] script." Yeah, if I listen, if I want AI to talk to me, I'll just ask the AI chatbot. You know, that's that stuff pisses me off. You know, write all your man. I'll just go I'll just go ask Gemini or you know, Anthropic or

[22:20] whatever myself. This is why I really like what we do uh at uh you know, in the Meet Kevin app. Cuz all of this all of these notes right here, none of this is AI. None of it. And I do it on purpose. Like

[22:34] there's spelling errors in here galore, but I don't give a flying F cuz they're just my notes. You know, but all of this stuff is written by Kevin. And it's a lot of data that you that you could utilize. Uh or you know, like like

[22:48] in the um This is all in the Meet Kevin app, by the way. But if I go to uh Trade Desk, for example, look at what we did. On You ready for this? Watch this. January 21st.

[23:02] You ready for this? Watch this. January 21st. This is This is what course of stuff we snuff out. January 21st, a note about chatbot TAM, possibly as OpenAI's looking to sell ads. Okay? Look at this. In their

[23:17] earnings call, "Compared to last year, our total addressable market has grown significantly, including expansion from connected TV and AI chatbots." And so I wrote in January, "Does this mean Trade Desk has had discussions with

[23:33] chatbot form firms, or is this just hope?" Right? And then what was reported today? "The Trade Desk shares jump after OpenAI report that ad tech firm has held

[23:45] preliminary discussions about a partnership with OpenAI." Wrote that. You know, I called it speculation then. But um you know, that was on January 21st. Point is, that's the kind of

[23:57] And we're not doing this with AI. You know, this is just manually going going through this stuff. And I really enjoy it. So that's in the Meet Kevin app. Anyway. All right, where were we? So. Mara.

[24:11] Mara. Yeah, I mean, I think Starwood is a an okay firm. You know, I think they they went a little too yoloy on real estate cuz I think they were buying at the highs in '21 and '22, and then they

[24:24] had to start liquidating some of it. Uh so I don't know what their leverage anything, you know, negative about them, but I I know the guy is really respected in real estate and I mean, I'd I'd love to grow to the AUM they have. I mean,

[24:38] what do they have? Starwood capital AUM. It's got to be many billions of dollars. $125 billion. I'd love to do that. So what do they do? Yeah. So Starwood Property Trust, largest

[24:52] commercial mortgage REIT. Ew. That sounds sketch. So they have a commercial mortgage REIT. Wow. Yeah, that just seems hard right now. How many defaults do you guys have in that? Focus on real estate and energy

[25:05] infrastructure. Significant debt portfolios. Oh well, well, I guess I guess I could just go look really quick. Starwood Property Trust.

[25:19] entity. I don't I don't know if all of their AUM is public. But we could just take a really quick sneak peek and find out.

[25:32] So, this is just their press release. So So we have So I've got Yeah, see this is only a $20 billion asset portion. Oh, wait a sec.

[25:49] I'm sorry. They have assets of No, but some of this is goodwill. Uh not much though. Loans 18 VIE variable interest rate entities.

[26:02] This is about $63 billion. So this is about half about half of their business. Oh my gosh, it's almost all debt. Are you kidding me? What? That's how they did this?

[26:14] Are you freaking kidding me? VIE liabilities, unsecured senior notes, securitized financing, securitized financing. Oh my gosh, I've lost so much

[26:26] respect. Are you kidding me? Out of $63 billion of assets, you jackass have 55.6 of debt? You guys are going to go bankrupt in the next recession. OH MY GOSH. COME ON, how stupid do you got to be?

[26:42] Oh my gosh. No. That's insane. That's insane.

[27:00] reason I said open AI in that earnings call that I when I read that in January was because open AI is the only one talking about ads. So I know that makes me feel like I had like a Final Destination premonition about it being

[27:13] just like putting two and two together, right? It's like, "Oh, Trade Desk is an ad platform. Trade Desk is talking about ads. Oh, what other AI company is talking about doing ads?" Oh man, Sarah today with the phone and the the like

[27:28] the bronzer or whatever. What's going on over here today? then like I don't know what's under the jacket. Oh, I got to click away there. Sorry. I

[27:41] Something happened. Anyway, where were we? Uh, okay. Let's go to the Wall Street Journal. Dude is so annoying. Hell yeah, that's my job.

[27:56] And you can be a little weenie baby, you can leave. Uh You know what else is annoying? going to open a open a pack. Going to open another pack of cigs just for you.

[28:11] a Pokémon pack today. We're going to open an Astral Radiance today. Astral Radiance Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. I'm not sure how many to get to

[28:26] I'm not sure how many to get to Uh, I think it's four to get to um Uh, I think it's four to get to um what we want. I'm not sure though. Two I may screw this up cuz it could be two. All right, we got fire today. Oh, we got

[28:39] four count. Four count to get to the energy, but it was water, not fire, which isn't great cuz water kills fire, you know, so this one's already setting up to be a bad a bad pull here. We're doing this

[28:51] one because uh you know, the loser called me annoying in the chat. So uh I'm going to be a little more annoying. Uh Poochyena. Yeah, that's what this guy is. That should be the next coupon code. Look at that. Poochyena. Poochyena, he's

[29:08] this guy's so strong that when he gnaws at you, he does a whole 10 damage. at you, he does a whole 10 damage. Little pansy.

[29:24] Here we go. Getting to the end. Leafeon reverse holo. That's a cute card. Yeah, nothing today. As usual, but the Leafeon looks nice.

[29:38] Jack actually might like that cuz he has a full holo of Leafeon. So I might give a full holo of Leafeon. So I might give him the reverse holo of uh Leafeon here. him the reverse holo of uh Leafeon here. Uh he might like that.

[29:55] all of this was in honor of uh our little our little Poochyena in There he is. Yeah. So where were we? Another trash pack. Shoulda kept it

[30:10] Another trash pack. Shoulda kept it sealed. Stanley lays off people. Yeah, man, you got AI, bro.

[30:23] AI, man. Uh how Azerbaijan will respond. Russia Iran says Iran conflict not our war. UK deploys more jets. Pollymarket bettors don't expect a quick ceasefire.
