[00:45] reviews that people are putting on the episode, it has nothing to do with even have like this review that's a one out of 10 talking about how to fly an airplane. You have this one literally just talking about karma and nothing

[01:00] get the point of what's going on here. People just calling it Diddy Tinsi. And I'm just I'm going to say it really depresses me that one of the most emotionally charged moments of this season so far. That is one of the best

[01:15] usages of voice acting I have heard from 2026. hell, maybe of the 2020s is being boiled down to just talking about how the the series is creepy, it's problematic, and that the author is a pedto for making problematic fictional

[01:29] content. It is just so insane that the any conversation that is about this episode is just being drowned out by that. And I'm just going to say like it that. And I'm just going to say like it is so unreal the amount of hate that

[01:43] this series gets. And you have individuals like this even manipulating ratings on IMDb to even increase the slander and hatred against Mushiku if you're wondering why I'm even bringing him up, he straight up admits

[01:58] that uh the ReZero community is manipulating IMDb scores and he's giving guides to it. And this is the same guy, by the way, that sent death ruts to the staff of ReZero and death threats to the CEO of Whitef Fox, the creators of

[02:10] Re:Zero's anime. And so it's crazy how many people rally behind this individual kind of like a you know the the main leader of the ReZero community on social media when he has just done so much damage for the image of the community.

[02:23] But obviously the point I'm trying to make is it makes me so upset just the amount of like harassment the offer of MT gets. The amount of harassment fans get for enjoying a work that legitimately is just it's emotionally

[02:38] the best equivalent I could get. It's the anime equivalent of Game of Thrones. differences, but I'm just going to say that it's the closest we got in terms of media to like a uh a Game of Thrones anime. I I'm just going to say because

[02:54] it has a lot of uncomfortable themes. It has themes that are legitimately jarring. And for some reason, people that hate MT to such to a degree and literally botting or even liking like post to get millions of views on it,

[03:09] it's just like these are the individuals that would be completely fine with Game of Thrones, completely fine with everything that happens, the the the gruesome content within Game of Thrones. But for some reason, Mushkutensei is a

[03:21] problem. For some reason, you're a criminal if you enjoy Mushkuteni. For some reason, the offer is a criminal for even writing problematic fiction. It's even writing problematic fiction. It's just it is so annoying. And I really

[03:33] hate this because MT is probably one of the most overhated series of the 2020s. Because like I I really think the reason why there is so much push back against this series, why so many people really want to slander this series besides word

[03:48] of mouth and hearing it through Tik Tok edits or comment threads on Reddit. I think it's because MT is one of those bastions of anime being unfiltered. MT is an anime that literally doesn't try to cater to normies. It doesn't try to

[04:04] to cater to normies. It doesn't try to cater to like a western ideology. It just it tries to be a fantasy setting. It is in a fantasy medieval time. It's not trying to be virtuous and virtue signaling or anything like that. It is

[04:20] just something that just like it is a raw display of a fantasy world. And I think this really gets people upset because it is not watered down sanitized and safe media. And I think that's what gets this series into a lot of trouble

[04:36] because for one, it isn't safe media for a lot of people. And two, it's also people have an issue with that. that the fact that the series has such incredible sequences and people don't like the fact that it does that it gets beautiful art,

[04:50] beautiful animation, immersive like you know different languages very similar people don't like that they hate the fact that you know the series gets so much love and attention because it is good and the only way they can actually

[05:05] slander the series is by buzzwording it to death by calling people pedos for even enjoying it and it legit is absolutely freaking freaking annoying and I'm just it makes me so sad because like the one of the best sequences like

[05:19] this scene is so emotional and legitimately tugged at my heartstrings and I started crying while watching this sequence because it kind of dives into the darkness of this genre and being transported to another world against

[05:33] your will. It's not always sunshine and rainbows that these stories like to present. And it's just sad that the conversation around this episode is literally boiled down to what I've just already been talking about the beginning

[05:47] of the video. And so, yeah, I just, dude, I absolutely cannot stand the amount of hate that this series gets. It is so forced. And you can definitely see that the Japanese audience really loves this, by the way. Like this came out

[06:01] literally this morning after the massive review bombs that it's getting on IMDb. This is in Japan, by the way, the Japanese voting on it and it reached a 9.6. Now, I don't think you should take ratings too seriously, but I think this

[06:14] really does indicate like some of the truer rankings and thoughts people had about the episode besides people clearly review bombing because you're not airplane and then saying Bleach is better or talking about karma, which is

[06:27] not even talking anything about the episode, is a legitimate one out of 10. It's not. It's very clear a lot of this stuff is very botted and it's very clear that a lot of people are trying to slander Bleach as well and probably make

[06:39] Bleach look really bad after such a fantastic episode it got. Whatever the case may be or whatever community it's doing, it is legitimately pathetic and gives credibility to why you should not take IMDb seriously whatsoever when it

[06:53] comes to a lot of its ratings for its individual episodes. It's cool to see, but it's very clear that it's easily manipulated and not something that you can actually trust. But back into the main topic, I I want to talk about this

[07:06] episode because I feel like it's such a disservice not to dive into the intricacies of what makes this scene so spectacular and like why like it's a

[07:18] tragedy. It's being boiled down. So, Nahoshi has probably one of the most realistic crashs in anime. Like I'm just going to say I wouldn't say she's 100% justified for what she said to Rudy, but I think in general her being extremely

[07:35] depressed and lashing out is understandable. I think anyone in her shoes, if you were actually in her shoes and you put away like the goggles and glasses, you're in a fantasy world, you probably would be acting the exact same

[07:49] way. Hell, maybe even worse and being even more self-destructive because the entire episode straight up tells Natoshi that, "Hey, you got an incurable disease. You're going to die." And like, anyone hearing that is going to be

[08:04] legitimately depressed knowing that there is a time limit on your life and you're literally a teenager. Like, live that long." That that's literally how you're going to be feeling. So

[08:16] everything about the situation is just extremely depressing. But it it doesn't just stop there. Nonoshi goes on to rant about how she truly feels about the world. For one, she is extremely isolated. She has nothing. Like her

[08:29] family and friends that she once had is gone. And yeah, she's making connections here and there, but the point is is that in her life in Japan, she had a good life. She had a loving family. She had loving friends. She had someone she had

[08:44] a crush on. She did not have a bad life. Like typically in, you know, isekai stories, stories where you're reincarnated or transported, usually the MC has like, you know, a pretty bad life. But in this case, Nanohoshi, she

[08:58] has a legitimately good life. She had a good life before being transported here. And the entire world is rejecting her. She has mana poisoning where her body can't process anything. She has literally no connections to her friends

[09:11] or family that she used to have. She doesn't have a loving like husband or anything like that. She is someone that has already crushed that she can never be with. She can't say sorry to her parents that she had a good connection

[09:23] they die. And if she dies, they won't even know that she's dead or ever know because she's going to die in a world that's completely foreign. There's a lot of things about Nanahoshi's situation that is just outright depressing. And so

[09:36] I think that this really showcases a very dark aspect, another side to the Asaki storytelling that we just we do not get to see because like I said, it's always painted as like it's better than your previous life because you go on

[09:51] this mysterious adventure, swords and magic and everything like that, but everything about Nahoshi's life is the exact opposite. At first, she felt that way, but she realized there is a lot more negative than positive within her

[10:04] life. and her lashing out against Rudy as well. She it was justified to a degree, but it wasn't necessarily she wasn't entirely right as well because beginning of season 2, he almost took his life. I mean, we have the whole

[10:18] that depression and feeling like he lacked, you know, masculinity and then the realization on his parents and loving his parents and how it was too sunshine and rainbow's life as well in this world. But one of the big things

[10:34] that Mushkutensei has been trying to paint, especially in this episode, is that you need to take action to be able to better yourself, to be able to have change within your life. And that's one of the big things is that um sometimes

[10:47] to get out of a bad situation, you have to keep moving. And that's what Roxy did beginning, helping him leave the house. And that's why he harbors her in such high regard. you know, the the reason why like he is able to keep walking

[11:01] around and living and you know, Sophie's there for him as well is because she helped him out in a very hard time. Basically, when people take action and can make your life better. And taking action is very important. And in this

[11:14] case, that's exactly what this episode is. Taking action can help improve your is. Taking action can help improve your life. And Natoshi lashing out and saying what she said in this episode is more or less a desperate cry for help. She is

[11:26] less a desperate cry for help. She is crying for help because she is basically vulnerable. She's isolated. She has nothing. She doesn't have magic. She doesn't have the gifts of power and stuff like that. The only thing she

[11:38] really has at this point is pretty much Perugius that you know can potentially offer some information but not fully. And then Rudy that you know is a reminder of her homeland. So she does anything she can to ask for help. She is

[11:51] asking for help in this very moment and that that's all she can really do. So and trying to figure out how to help her really is what the main message of this episode is. Take action and to be able to change things. And I think that's

[12:07] this gets into what I talked about at the beginning of this video. That's why I really hate how the entire conversation of this episode is boiled conversation of this episode is boiled down to Diddy Tensei, offer a pedophile,

[12:20] all sorts of stuff about Rudy is a problematic character. shouldn't exist reaching millions of views basically applying the offer is a pedto. It just it is so obnoxious that that is the conversation around it instead of

[12:35] talking about the intricacies and the darkness of the genre like from another perspective that we don't normally get to see. So like yeah I just man I love MT and I think that is so annoying the amount of hatred this gets. I feel like

[12:50] it's one of the last bastions of non-normie anime and it really upsets people because it is popular. It's great and it breaks the reality that you don't need to have sanitized work to be popular and I think that's what really
