[00:00] Ludwig, a massive content creator and streamer, has been gatekept and filtered by Mushoku Tensei's anime with only two episodes. The reason why Ludwig even decided to start the series to begin with was because he heard a lot of conversation around the series

[00:13] thanks to the episode going viral and trending on social media in the last week, thanks to the Diary episode, and showcasing the dark timeline in Old Man Rudin. And so basically, he sat down and watched it in the living room with his fiancée,

[00:25] and within two episodes he quickly had to shut it off because obviously in his own words, which I will play the clip in a second, he says it's not good TV, he doesn't know why it's on the good TV section

[00:37] and basically it is a series that you cannot proudly play in the living room, you need to stay locked in your room and basically it's deep cut weed shit in his own words and he says then I started Better Call Saul. Now nothing wrong with Better Call Saul, great series by the way,

[00:51] but the point here is that Ludwig is basically saying that Mushku Tensei is to adult content, it's not something that's good to actually be played in the living room. However, I find this very fascinating, because upon looking into Ludwig's overall interest in shows,

[01:05] you'll instantly discover back in 2019, he talks about Game of Thrones. And the reason why this is relevant is because Game of Thrones has a lot of content that is basically dark in nature, and sexualized content within Mushkitensei is also within Game of Thrones.

[01:19] I mean, Game of Thrones literally has some main characters that are in a sibling relationship. Okay, they're in a sibling relationship up until the final season. Then you also have, like, SA within it, there's murder, there is genocide, technically,

[01:34] absolute unwarranted killings of people, and violence and stuff like that, people burning alive, all sorts of crazy stuff within Game of Thrones. However, apparently, there is nothing wrong with Game of Thrones,

[01:46] because obviously it's very popular to love Game of Thrones up until the very point with the ending. Basically, it was a series that nobody had any problems with. It was basically everybody was fine with all the dark content, because for some reason, before 2020, people were able to separate fiction from reality, and understand that Game of Thrones isn't real, it's just a fictional story that is just being acted by actors.

[02:06] But, um, basically, we are now in 2026, and that same problematic content that was within Game of Thrones apparently is a problem within an anime that is a drawing, an animation, and you need to virtue signal and be very performative about it.

[02:20] Now, before I go any further, I do want to play this clip, because I feel like it just needs to be played to get full context here of what Ludwig is saying, and then we can talk about it, and I can pause it and talk about certain segments, so, uh, let's just, let's play this clip.

[02:34] dude okay actually i gotta say three things first thing uh i started watching this show because it's got it getting a lot of uh conversation on twitter it's an anime it's called

[02:48] um gosh musho tensei maybe that's it musho ku tensei uh musho ku so i started watching it on the tv because he's on hulu um with my fiance in the room because she gave me the remote because

[03:03] so first off, I'm just going to say it's clear the reason why he started he heard conversation about it, he jumped on the bandwagon because he heard probably a lot of people saying like, man this is a great series man, the development

[03:16] and the tragedy of it is insane and so he decided to jump onto the hype train, that's basically the origin story of why he even decided to start Mushu Kutensei and prior to probably him

[03:28] starting it, Mushu Kutensei is one of those series that is in conversation pieces, people that are relatively new to anime, typically don't like M.T. because it actually is an unfiltered series that honestly is kind of like a nod to how anime was before

[03:44] it started getting sanitized by the West, before it started getting censored by bad actors within the industry. Mushoku Tensei is one of those series that doesn't shy away from the problematic dark content or taboo themes or anything like that, it just straight up showcases it.

[03:58] And the best way to really kind of compare NT to something in terms of, like, something in Western media is Game of Thrones. Now, obviously, the stories are fundamentally different, but obviously the very same dark content within Game of Thrones is basically in the actual story of Mushoku Tensei.

[04:15] And the thing here is, is that everything about NT, a lot of people have issues with the series because they don't like the NT. They don like Rudis they don like the sexual content with the story or anything like that which is fine if people don like that The problem here is that a lot of people get very performative and virtually female about the situation because they completely fine with let say something with Game of Thrones They completely fine

[04:39] with murder and stuff, which is like, that's crazy stuff too. They're completely fine with that, but when it comes to, like, anything of adult content of sexualized nature, that is where hardline God-sauce can't do it. And it's just,

[04:51] we didn't used to be like this, right? Game of Thrones has, like, literally so many themes and adult themes, and it's just like, we did not used to be like this as a culture, as a society. But for some reason, we have shifted to where people have become this way.

[05:04] And I just, I really wish we could go back. We could go back pre-2040. It was working. And so I threw it on. I got to episode two about 45 seconds in

[05:16] before I had to turn it off. I didn't realize what that show was like. Because the first episode is bad. The first episode's like, it was a hard watch, because my childhood is not watching anime at all.

[05:29] And so the first episode is already like, this baby going, look at those big, bazonky mil- I want to make sure I iterate what he's saying.

[05:42] He makes sure when he starts the conversation, that Mushikuten say, episode one is bad. He says it's bad. And he tries to elaborate, it's clear what he's saying in between the lines here, that the reason why he's bad is because he's not wanting to upset, like, his fiancée or wife or whatever.

[05:58] He doesn't want to upset them because she doesn't watch anime. And so you've got to think of a perspective of someone that doesn't watch anime, doesn't care for anime, doesn't understand, like, the nature and the culture of it. They are probably going to look at anime as very grotesque and disgusting.

[06:11] And I am very curious to see if his fiancée or wife or whatever, you know, if they are into Game of Thrones. I really, really am curious about that one. I really am. I wonder what their opinion is on stuff like that.

[06:24] But the point of the matter is, is that he tries to basically say here in his words that M.T. Episode 1 is really that. And he's talking about the scene where Rudy gets reincarnated, and basically how upon his first being reincarnated, opening his eyes and seeing the new world, he's looking

[06:38] at basically Zenith and he's like, whoa, she's got big bonkers. And it's just like, yeah, I mean, he doesn't know what he is, if he's a baby or anything like that. He's just like, he sees a woman with a big chest. So, yeah, obviously, someone's reaction

[06:50] probably would be like that, but also, this humor is very anime. It is a very typical anime-style humor. Like, anyone that watches anime that isn't sanitized, like, it isn't sanitized, like, shounen stuff

[07:03] that's just done with battle shounen, will instantly know that stuff like what Rudy says has just been within anime and manga for decades upon decades. It's not something that Mushoku Tensei invented. It is something that has just been there.

[07:16] And, you know, it's just like, this really goes to show the amount of people that are getting into anime that legitimately just, uh, they're weirded out by it, but they only jump into anime because it is, you know, the mainstream stuff is culturally accepted now, and you're not thrown into a locker for it.

[07:31] Because I want to bet you, you know, if people viewed anime the exact same way as, like, let's say, 15, 20 years ago, people would, they would throw you in the locker for just Dragon Ball Z. Like, they would do that to you. They 100% would think you're a weirdo for watching Dragon Ball Z.

[07:45] but nowadays obviously it's more accepted and I think this entire situation you're just doing to show like if it is not mainstream accepted media then it is bad, it's problematic and this gets back into the

[07:58] comparison that I keep talking about with Game of Thrones is that Ludwig was completely fine with Game of Thrones because obviously it's culturally accepted to be okay with Game of Thrones, you know the only thing that people don't like about Game of Thrones is the final

[08:10] season, technically to say the season before the final season as well, there is a lot of discussion about that, but let's take it, you know, technically to the final season, okay, that's when things really went off the rails, and obviously, the main consensus is that the ending of Game of

[08:22] Thrones is absolute dog shit, I agree with that statement, it's bad, but the point here is, is that Ludwig is more or less following the bandwagon of, like, okay, if it's culturally accepted, it's A-okay,

[08:34] you know, it doesn't matter what content is within it, but if it's content that the vast majority might be weird, or I might be viewed weird, I have to have this performative, virtue-signaling outrage against it. So, so how I view this is, is Ludwig is probably afraid of people

[08:49] thinking that he's a weirdo for enjoying it, so the reason why he starts off even at, you know, the 15 minute, or 52nd mark here, saying that, like, oh, uh, it's a bad episode, is because, obviously, you know, it's not culturally accepted to enjoy Mushoku Tensei. Like, you

[09:03] aren labeled literally a PDF if you enjoy the series The author has literally hit pieces created by Kotaku and other journalists just to slander the author because apparently the author is okay in normalizing dark

[09:15] and taboo content, even though Game of Thrones has done stuff like this, but that's completely a-okay. Should we get into Baldur's Gate with how it has basically a bear scene and furry stuff going on in it? No, you don't see people do that, because it's selective outrage,

[09:27] because obviously it's culturally accepted to be okay with Baldur's Gate, it's culturally accepted to be okay with Game of Thrones, I think you get the point. Obviously, what Ludwig is doing here, and it's been hinted at for a while, he does enjoy anime.

[09:39] I do think that he probably deep down does. But he has to have this barrier and protection on him, because obviously he's afraid of being buzzworded and called a PDF, but he also doesn't want to be viewed as a weirdo. And you throw in the fact that probably his fiancée or wife or whatever,

[09:53] you know, doesn't like anime, he doesn't want to upset her. So there is multi-layers to this, but it's just like, bro, if you're going to enjoy anime, don't try to be selective about it, just do some research into it,

[10:05] and if you're worried about, like, being viewed as a weirdo, then just don't watch anime, like, I feel like he knows what anime is, I feel like he probably dives into some stuff that's probably weird, he just doesn't want to say it publicly, because he, like I said, he doesn't want to harm

[10:19] his image, he wants to look pristine, so to speak, so everything comes off very performative, like he's trying to guard himself, he just does not want to be viewed as a weirdo, and he's just trying to fit in with the crowd and that's what it looks like

[10:31] and I mean, him starting off the video saying the reason why he even watched it is because of the conversation around it because obviously the conversation around Mushoku was blowing up and people were enjoying the diary episode I feel like this showcases my point once again

[10:45] and how like he jumped on it because obviously it's popular people are talking about it that's why he decided to watch it but then he probably did some research and then, you know, his fiancee probably on the side was like, oh this is weird he can't watch this this is messed up

[10:57] and I think that's what it really comes down to. But anyways, I'm sorry for following you so long. Let's continue. Keybacks. Yummy, yummy, yummy. And then, and then it's a bunch of magic, which I'm like, okay, whatever, magic's fine. But she would, like,

[11:09] look up on those worst ones that happened and I'm like, I'm embarrassed to even be watching this. But then the start of episode two, bro, I had to turn it off because the start of episode... So, I want to point that out, what he said there. He said that he was

[11:21] embarrassed to be watching this. This once again indicates what I just talked about. That he, it's all about this image. he doesn't want to be viewed as a weirdo, and he's embarrassed of, like, being, uh, watching it, and then his fiancée judging him. And obviously, it's his fiancée, and, like, he doesn't want to

[11:35] upset her, yeah, I understand that, but the point is, is that, like, it's clear that everything about this isn't, like, his real opinion, that he is not watching the series where he's saying it's bad, and virtue signaling, and being performative about it because of other people. It's not because he

[11:50] didn't enjoy it, it's because he is worried about how people view him as a person. Everything about the situation is just really spineless. It really is. It feels very spineless, and it's just someone that legit can't have their own opinion, and they will change their opinion if it means that it's

[12:05] the most popular opinion in the room. That's basically what this is. It feels like someone that doesn't stand for anything, someone that will stand their ground for what they believe in or something they enjoy, because obviously they just don't want to be viewed as a weird guy. So that's

[12:18] what this looks like. Once again, he pretty much confirmed it right here, but once again, we'll continue playing the clip. Two is him, and he's like a four-year-old, and he's like, anyway, the plot of it is this 35-year-old, like, Kikimori, I guess, absolute loser, really, who was stuck in his room all

[12:36] day, jerking off. The fact that he knows what that word is, by the way, is not something that's just common knowledge. I feel like, it is common knowledge if you've been in V, been in otaku groups for a long time, but I don't think that the average, like, anime and manga reader would actually

[12:51] know what that is. The fact that he even knows that word once again gives indication on what I said as well. Now, I feel like he does enjoy anime and manga. He probably, he reads probably and watches a lot of weird stuff on his own time.

[13:04] And he just, like I said, he doesn't want to admit it because obviously, well, kids, they don't want to be viewed as a weirdo. That's just, that's, once again, there's just so much evidence here presenting that, that he, even knowing a word like that makes me assume that he might have watched something,

[13:19] let's say, like, Watamote. He might have watched something like Welcome to the NHK, stuff like that. That's what I believe. And like I said, I don't think he's a fake fan. I think he's just worried about his image.

[13:31] That's it. But anyway, let's continue. The porn gets hit by a car and then reincarnates in a magical universe and then inhabits the mind of this reincarnated child in a magical uh and the start of episode two is he like a four and he like let me walk in the internal narrator is like a

[13:50] 35 year old so he's like let me walk into my parents having sex throw him off with the old mommy daddy what are you guys doing and then he walks in and uh and then there's i think uh

[14:05] I don't know who, maybe the maid who's jerking off outside the parents' room. And then I snap turned off the TV. You know, it's so funny how he puts that, because that is, he's technically not really lying.

[14:17] Like, he's wrong with the maid thing, because it's actually Roxy. That's who's outside the parents' room. But the point is, is that it is funny when he puts it like that, when you don't get context or anything.

[14:30] It's just like, bro, what? Like, what is this? I think it's the same as my series, bro, it is legit, bro, it's really the best gatekeeper for an anime, because it just is such a whiplash, it's just like, what in the hell, like, it's just, it's like, if you've gotten used to the safe, sanitized content of anime and manga for, like, the last few years,

[15:00] and when you start Mushku Densei, you're just, you're hit with a full-blown, like, what anime and manga used to be like, like, 20 years ago, like, you're just hit with, like, how it really was, and how it was completely unfiltered, it's just so funny when people encounter it, and when they try to explain it, and the people hear about it, and they're like, what in the hell was this show, it's just, like, it is really the best series that Gate keeps itself, it, like, it, Gate keeps itself so hard, because it's, like, anyone that actually watches it, actually reads it, you know, and,

[15:30] they're not just getting the regurgitated opinions from like, TikTok, Flop, and stuff like that. You know, they're like, yeah, this is really good, but they're also, when they explain it, it just, it comes off extremely unhinged. And just everything about the explanation

[15:42] is hilarious, honestly. This is a hilarious explanation, but like I said, it's not a wrong explanation. I don't know how this was brought up on the good TV section,

[15:55] but it's not, it's not good TV. It's not good TV. this gets into what I started the video with not good TV and my assumption really means here there's two ways

[16:07] I'll at the close point before I say my piece it's not made for the TV this is like this is deep cut wee shit you watch in your room alone not on the TV proudly

[16:20] so then I turn on Better Call Saul let me tell you alright so he said it's not good to you. This is deep cut weed shit you watch alone in your room.

[16:34] I hate to be a broken record, but this is back to what I said once again. Watching it alone. He's afraid of people walking in on him and knowing he's watching it. Knowing that he enjoys it. Him saying deep cut

[16:47] weed shit, he's basically like it's very clear. He's not going to admit it here. I don't think he will. And I feel like there's a lot of layers to this why he won't, because, like, probably his fiance and his wife, but I think

[17:00] the real reason is that he does enjoy it, but he realizes that he can't probably publicly say he enjoys it, because of just, like, how, how the series is unhinged, like, the beginning is unhinged, like, if you try to explain it to someone, people are like, what in the world

[17:13] is this? And so, I think that he's just, like, he's ashamed of people knowing if he likes it or not, and it's just really, we have really lost our spine as, like, a, uh, a species, man,

[17:27] like, I just don't know why, like, we have to be so performative in Virtue Signally, like, it's like, you, if this was Game of Thrones, and we didn't have that final season, I'm worried about you, this video wouldn't be made, you would be saying it's good TV, it's good TV, should be played in

[17:42] the living room, but because it's an anime, and obviously it's, uh, not culturally acceptable as a show, it's not mainstream, basically, it's, you know, it's not mainstream accepted, that's

[17:54] why this, this is even made, why he even made this type of statement, it's just, uh, sad, honestly, it really is, but, yeah, I mean, most people didn't say that, but what a series, dude, it is one of those series that just gatekeeps itself because of just how it's

[18:08] so unfiltered, and I appreciate that, I really do, but I will leave it at that, if you enjoy my content, please subscribe, leave a like, Chibi out.
