Romance Guide: The Blood of Dawnwalker

[00:00] Your hands are pretty full with saving the world of the Blood of Dawnwalker, but there is always time for a little flirting. There are three possible romance options to explore throughout the game, the mysterious witch Anka,

[00:13] Krait the leader of the rebellion, and the dark and dangerous Rakiri Larker. If you don't want to fumble any or all of these romanceable characters, we've got everything you need to know in this IGN guide. Anka is the first bachelorette that you'll meet and you can find her during the game's prologue.

[00:34] Her romance story consists of five different quests, but there are only a few moments throughout the questline where your answers will make or break your relationship. Paige Turner is the first quest in Anka's storyline and you can start it just after meeting her in the Wuthering Away quest.

[00:48] After withering away, accept Anka's invitation to study Latin together to start page-turner and unlock the rest of her romance questline. The second quest you'll embark on with Anka is Echoes of the Silent Spells.

[01:00] You can choose any dialogue you want here, but she will appreciate it more if you let her cast her spell. Her next quest, Between the Worlds, does have a missable flirting opportunity, though. When Anka mentions that she'd like you to make her some tea, select It's My Pleasure.

[01:13] While inspecting books together, select always what do you mean and your feelings towards me, it's more than just faith. In the next quest, where old devils lie, select that's what you see me as, a friend. Then choose who knows what else I have in store for you while you're looking at the map together.

[01:28] Later in the quest where you sitting at the lake select the white dialogue option as something troubling you This gives you an opportunity to tell her that you care about her although it not required for her romance As the quest progresses you can tell Anka that you enjoying her company

[01:43] before continuing on to trigger the last quest in her storyline, Stronger Than Achilles. This quest is where all of your hard work finally pays off, and you can especially romance Anka as long as you play your cards right. In Stronger Than Achilles, sacrifice your hand

[01:56] and let Anka use the font for the most favorable interactions. Then select the I'd do anything for you and I love you dialogue options where you reach the broken bridge. If you'd rather take the font for yourself, you can still romance Anka,

[02:09] but you won't get quite as many opportunities to flirt with her. Once you're back at the inn, select I beg to differ and screw decency, I want you too. That officially seals the deal on your romance with Anka in the blood of Dawn Walker.

[02:22] Just like in real life, romance can craze for life on saying the right thing at the right time. In this case, that involves selecting the right flirty dialogue options throughout his questline. Craig's complete romance questline contains seven quests,

[02:35] although only a few of them offer dialogue options that will actually affect your relationship. Your path to romance in Craig starts with meeting him in the first place. You can do so by starting the Firebrand quest right after the prologue.

[02:47] When you're exploring the ruined Lazlia with Anka, make sure you approach Vlad's house, which is just north of the Lazlia Centre shrine. That will trigger the firebrand quest which you can follow to eventually meet Craig. But you don't get to join the manumits and get close to Craig straight away.

[03:02] Before continuing Craig romance questline you have to reach Notorious Infamy which does take quite a while To increase your infamy as fast as possible focus on disrupting Braceless regime by destroying things like soldier camps and sabotaging their operations Since you can really interact with Craig until you already

[03:19] joined the Manumits, you're free to make any dialogue choices you'd like until you reach What Hunts the Night. At the end of that quest, come for Craig instead of blaming him for what happened by selecting I Know What It's Like to Lose Someone. After What Hunts the Night,

[03:32] you'll begin What Moves the Dead. At the end of that quest, offer to take Craig back home and dress as Ruth for him to further the romance. After What Moves the Dead, speak to Craig in the Manumit Hideout to start the Distant Shadows quest.

[03:44] Now this is one of the most important points in Craig's romance. If you start the Rise at Dawn quest before Distant Shadows, your romance will end there. You can complete Rise at Dawn after stealing the deal with Craig,

[03:56] so complete the quest in that order if you'd like to romance him. When Craig takes off at the end of Distant Shadows, offer to go and talk to him to obtain the last quest, a closer look. A closer look is a timed quest and it only lasts for 16 timed segments after it starts,

[04:10] so don't wait around too long before speaking to Craig. When you do, make sure that you pay attention to your dialogue choices because this quest is the most important one for your relationship. When you get the option, select I'm worried about you or you're hiding something,

[04:24] then select I know what this is about, please tell me the truth, or I came here because I care for you. Lastly, select Hey, nothing you can say will change the way I see you and get crazily prompted to seal the deal. The first step to romancing Lycra is meeting her and starting her questline There are a few ways to do this First you can survive the battle with Ambrith and loot his body to find a note leading you to Spartral City

[04:50] Vico's quest, a study in Crimson, will also lead you her way, or you can drift head straight to the alley in the northeast part of Spartral. Any one of those methods will start the Affirm like this quest and Larka's romance storyline.

[05:02] Romancing Larka is actually a little easier than the other two romance options, since there aren't many places where you can say something wrong. Her questline consists of five quests, but you don't have to worry about your choices until after completing Hive and Seek.

[05:15] Once you complete Hive and Seek, you will get two new quests. One is called Midnight Reckoning, and the other is called the Night of Horrors. Make sure you complete the Night of Horrors first if you want to romance Lycra. During our Rotten Roots, you'll get the option to take one of two paths.

[05:30] Lycra wants to go right, but if you choose to go left, then you get the opportunity to learn a little bit more about her and her path. This isn't required for her romance and it does annoy her a little bit but if you apologize in your next conversation she will forgive you.

[05:43] The Night of Horrors is the final quest in Larka's romance storyline and it's where your choices will make the most difference. During this quest make sure that you eat the mandrake and drink her blood when she offers it. If you do that you'll get the opportunity to kiss her and make your romance official.
