[00:20] things to happen to music in the last few years she's so fun her sound the all of it is such a breath of fresh share for pop music and a much needed

[00:32] one of that she's also a gifted performer and her concerts are known for going all out they're very Vivid and high energy she really puts on a show to the fullest extent of her abilities and you can tell she's in her element she

[00:46] was born to be Hest stage she makes it look so effortless now some people watching this video might not even know who Chapel rone is and don't worry I who she was until earlier this year she's been around since like 2016 and

[01:01] she's built a very strong fan base through a very long and slow process through a very long and slow process that took years but somehow in 2024 Chapel kind of unexpectedly blew up but in a way that's kind of insane she went

[01:15] from being an artist with a bit of a cult following to a mega star quite literally at the top of the music world to give you an idea of how absurdly quick this Ascension was chap will perform at La palooza this year which is

[01:29] in the world and she managed to reunite the biggest daytime crowd ever seen at the festival since its creation and that was like in August according to Spotify between February of 2024 and April of

[01:45] 20124 just a 2-month time period her audience grew by audience grew by 500% and it has probably tripled since then long story short Chapel rone is quite literally the definition of an

[02:01] overnight sensation her rise to super stardom happened in a blink it was so quick and sudden that it came with a bunch of downsides now I know for a fact that there are people who will watch this video a lot of them who have never

[02:17] heard a single chapel rone song but also have not stopped hearing about her in the past couple of months whether it be in the media or on Tik Tok or whatever and the reasons why they can't stop seeing her name every everywhere

[02:30] unfortunately have little to do with her music because yeah just as quickly as she became this International Superstar Chapel rone became an extremely extremely controversial figure you've probably seen those videos of her

[02:45] yelling at a camera or that other video of her yelling at a camera or that other video where she's yelling at a photographer on a red carpet all the

[02:57] headlines and those videos from other people giving her two cents about her it's been quite insane to witness it is probably the biggest and fastest case of the internet falling in love with a person and lifting them up and then

[03:11] immediately turning against that person and tearing them down she went through the whole cycle in the span of like 3 months death by overexposure a lethal dose of chronically online discourse and the way the animosity towards her has

[03:26] been escalating especially in the last three weeks is is just unhinged I've been watching this whole thing unfold and I have a lot of thoughts I think trying to make sense of the chapel rone situation is an exercise a Nuance which

[03:41] is not very known to be a strength of the internet because yes I think that is mostly what has caused this entire debacle a serious lack of nuance and debacle a serious lack of nuance and people's growing need for absolutes ass

[04:19] why have people turned on Chapel rone in record time why is she such a controversial figure nobody can stop talking about even though she basically arrived in a big league like a week ago how did this happen well to make it

[04:34] short it is an ensemble of things there wasn't one particular incident that caused the infinity War it's more of an extremely fast succession of events that happen one after the other and that caused things to develop a really

[04:48] bizarre Snowball Effect and all of it crashing out in the insane way it has over the last month is based on three very specific events event number one respectful when they see her in public event number two Chapel refuses to

[05:04] publicly endorse camalo Harris as president and event number three Chapel cancels shows at the very last second these are the events that transpired over the last 6 weeks that made Chapel rone go from the internet's favorite

[05:18] person to Public Enemy Number One in the flick of a switch and I'm not being hyperbolic here people switched up on her so fast you think she committed a crime the media went crazy the internet went crazy like the amount of discourse

[05:34] around Chapel Rome throughout these three moments has been absolutely insane people could not believe the things she was saying her fans were confused and upset by her actions they felt betrayed people that didn't know Chapel that much

[05:48] felt like she was a spoiled brat just an overall [ __ ] show and okay but why what exactly did she say that caused such a rift because it really seemed seems like

[06:00] everybody [ __ ] hates her now including a large portion of her own fan base this is where things get intriguing and I think this says a lot about how people on the internet are now and how people's perception of parasocial

[06:13] relationships has evolved in recent years which sort of explained this gargantuan divide that shot through the public when it comes to Chapel rone so basically what Chapel has been saying during those three incidents that caused

[06:26] this overwhelming controversy is this one she wants people to be respectful and calm when they see her in public and she asks them to be more mindful of her privacy and the privacy of the people in her life two she doesn't want to use her

[06:41] candidates even though she's clearly going to vote for Cala because even if she knows who she's going to vote for she also thinks there is a lot of work to be done for her and her community to feel confidently represented and three

[06:55] she's canceling some shows because she needs to take care of her health because the insane scrutiny she's been under these last few months have taken a real toll on her that's it those are the three main points she's been driving

[07:08] that caused this much backlash this is why you're seeing her name in every headline ever this is why people cannot stop talking about her this is why there's so much discourse it's because of those three points now if you ask me

[07:24] Chapel rone didn't say anything that is even remotely unreasonable here it's actually very normal [ __ ] to say and very rational [ __ ] to do I think you'd actually be pretty stupid not to understand any of that okay so if she's

[07:40] not asking for anything unreasonable why are people getting all up in arms about Chapel speaking up like what's the problem here why does her saying very fair and rational stuff creating so much tension and animosity towards her this

[07:56] is where this gets interesting and a little bit frustrating see my personal take on this is that the backlash Chapel has been facing actually has less to do with what she's saying and more to do with how she's saying it and I think I

[08:13] can break down this explanation in three simple points number one Chapel is not very good at expressing herself number two Chapel impulsively speaks out mostly when she's very angry and number three she has a terrible sense of TI

[08:30] we'll get back to that one this right there is what I like to call the chapel rone Paradox this is something that's going to come back a lot a sort of very cursed cycle that she seems to be stuck in it goes something like this Chapel is

[08:45] upset about something so she makes a very impulsive Tik Tok to complain about it except she doesn't Express herself very well because she's upset and it's mostly the emotions talking and her Tik Tok is either unint intentionally vague

[09:00] or comes across very differently from what she intended so people misunderstand what she's trying to say and they think she's being mean or entitled there's a lot of backlash Chapel can't handle the backlash so she

[09:13] gets even more upset and wants to respond so she posts an even angrier Tik Tok than the previous one where she essentially just yells at people while doubling down on her original claims except they're not necessarily any

[09:27] clearer they're just more aggressive which comes across as escalation so people escalate because she's escalating but she doesn't understand why people are escalating and everyone is angry now then she stops doing Tik toks about it

[09:42] but she will talk about how upset she is about it in every interview she does for the next little while so the discourse around it never really ends and eventually she does or says something else that creates divide and because she

[09:57] was already on thin ice people blow that out of proportion as well which leads Chapel to get upset at it being blown out of proportion so she impulsively goes and makes a Tik Tok because she's angry but she expresses herself poorly

[10:11] which leads people to get even more Angry she gets angry that they're angry so she posts another Tik Tok trying to double down but she's clearly way too upset and she just yells at people and so on and so on it is a toxic cycle and

[10:26] that's where their friction is sort of rooted the thing is is that Chapel rone doesn't sugarcoat things which is not necessarily a bad thing but it is a bad thing in this case because she also has a habit of speaking up when she's

[10:39] extremely upset and to not be entirely clear as a result basically you could put it that way Chapel doesn't explain stuff she rants about stuff and there is

[12:29] let's break down what's been going on the first real controversy that sort of marked a real turn in the Public's relationship with Chapel rone was on August 19 when Chapel very suddenly posted a Tik Tok ranting about fans

[12:42] inappropriate behavior with her when they encounter her in real life if you saw a random woman on the street would you yell at her from the car window would you harass her in public would you go up to a random lady and say can I get

[12:56] a photo with you and she's like no what the [ __ ] the [ __ ] and then you get mad at this random lady and then you get mad at this random lady um would you be offended if she says no

[13:08] to your time because she has her own time so she posts this and it doesn't go well people are saying that she's a [ __ ] crybaby that she chose to pursue this life and that dealing with people recognizing you in

[13:23] the street is what happens when you're a celebrity long story short the reaction is such [ __ ] it up this is the life you chose you don't get to complain now that you have it and you certainly don't have to be such a condescending [ __ ] about

[13:36] it that's what bothered a lot of people her condescending tone and Chapel she doesn't like this like at all she's really pissed that people are pushing really pissed that people are pushing back on her Tik Tok so that same day she

[13:51] posts another Tik Tok doubling down on her thoughts but like angrier I don't want whatever the [ __ ] you think you're supposed to be entitled to

[14:03] give a [ __ ] if you think it's selfish of me to say no for a photo or for your me to say no for a photo or for your time or to for a hug that's not normal that's weird it's weird and this does not go well either people do not take

[14:19] this well her tone is too hostile and she's not really doing a good job at clarifying her thoughts in a few words there is sort of a disconnect between what she means to say and how it comes out basically she was making a point

[14:33] that was very reasonable but that was expressed so terribly that it came across as something else entirely what it seems like she was saying was if you ever see me in public and want to say hi [ __ ] you you [ __ ] creeps if you ask

[14:47] me for a photo you're a [ __ ] creep don't talk to me don't look at me don't [ __ ] breathe in my direction [ __ ] you go [ __ ] yourself I don't owe you [ __ ] all my fans are [ __ ] creeps now that's not what she meant but that's

[15:01] because she doesn't Express herself clearly and always speaks up when she's very upset so people didn't like her allowed to be upset in this world apparently so what she said was wildly

[15:15] blown out of proportion and now everyone is escalating the situation but the thing is when everything starts to blow up very little of the discourse online has to do with what she actually said some people jump in to defend her saying

[15:30] she's absolutely allowed to establish boundaries with people which is true but that doesn't help anything because people are not actually upset at her wanting to have boundaries they're upset about her attitude suddenly the

[15:43] conversation shifts to Chapel being a diva who hates all of her fans because she didn't clarify what fan she was talking about she sort of put everyone who supports her into the same box and call them a bunch of creeps and people

[15:57] didn't like that they feel like she's ungrateful and that's what I mean when I say that the controversy is not about what she says but about how she says it everyone understood what she was getting at here people who claim they didn't are

[16:11] either lying or really stupid everyone got what the point was supposed to be Chapel was trying to set boundaries with her audience which is completely valid like honestly guys basic concept this shouldn't be controversial at all the

[16:26] issue is again Chapel has a tenden tcy to express herself very poorly and very aggressively this video was received very poorly even by people who agreed her for being condescending some people were just like girl respectfully there

[16:42] must have been a better way to convey that message and on the other hand you thought she was just being an entitled brat who got famous 15 minutes ago and for her Fame and when she attempts to clarify with the second Tik Tok she

[16:57] essentially says says the same thing but louder and more aggressive and now yelled at and at this point people don't even care about the point of it anymore they're just mad that she's rude I don't know about y'all but I'm having so much

[17:12] these days I understand some people just don't want to be famous they just want to make their music and live a normal life clearly she's not here for the fame and she doesn't really want it what I don't understand is why she willingly

[17:25] does all the extra stuff like why does she do interviews why does she go on the red carpet I think that we are watching the beginning of the end of Chapel R I think that is what is happening it's okay to be like weirded out by that I

[17:37] was I love chapel run that was weird kind of striking me as a mean girl she needs somebody to help her out get her a publicist get her some help tell her how to deal with this stuff you're not good at it I'm sorry like you are

[17:52] at it I'm sorry like you are annoying and now this is where we talk about Chapel having bad timing in the midst of all of this happening and the media going on a frenzy Chapel did something that really bothered her fan

[18:06] something that really bothered her fan base she cancelled a show at the very base she cancelled a show at the very last minute to go to the Video Music

[18:19] girl we really got to work on that timing girl so now her fans are like yo what the [ __ ] you make no sense like she goes on this whole Rand about how she's not about the fame and [ __ ] the fame [ __ ] that lifestyle and she just wants

[18:33] to make music and share it with her fans and perform on stage to share with her fans but then right after saying that she cancels a concert at the last minute to go perform at the VMAs instead so in the Public's eye you essentially ditch

[18:47] your fans to go to an award show that is all about the fame you get how there is think she tries to be very like cool girl I don't really care but like you put your album up for the Granny's you

[19:02] put yourself up for these Awards you go to the award shows you do the interviews you do all of this stuff as much as you want to pretend to be like real and cool and like not like the other celebrities you still want success you still kind of

[19:17] want to be like the other celebrities and now her fans feel disrespected they're like yo first you yell at us and call us a bunch of creeps and tell us to go [ __ ] ourselves and then you can't cancel a show because you want to go to

[19:30] an award show instead respectfully what the hell and now they're annoyed but they don't even have to time to process that that something else happens see Chapel did end up going to the VMAs and on the red carpet of the VMAs she was

[19:46] filmed yelling at a photographer I got to shut the

[20:01] understand what just happened here uh I think it was very vague for everybody the first time they saw it for some reason uh a photographer at the Red Carpet told her to shut the [ __ ] up she heard that and turned around and snapped

[20:16] back at him you know something that most people would do naturally this video goes viral instantly and creates another [ __ ] storm this is quite overwhelming and quite scary um think for someone who gets um a lot of uh anxiety around

[20:33] people yelling at you it the the carpet is horrifying and I need to I yelled back I yell back you don't need to yell at me like that are you sensing the recurring theme Here Chapel once again made headlines and was villainized for

[20:49] setting boundaries and for defending herself it kind of built itself on top of the previous incident it's like Wow first she shits on her fans then she cancels on them like they're nothing and now she's like yelling at people she's

[21:03] kind of a diva now she has an attitude we're tired of her always yelling at people blah blah blah blah but whoops no time to think about that new controversy just dropped yeah this girl cannot catch a break just a few days after the VMAs

[21:18] Chapel gave an interview to the guardian where she actively refused to endorse any presidential candidate when asked she gave a short explanation as to why in a way that wasn't worded the best which is kind of on brand for her and

[21:33] which is kind of on brand for her and then the world went [ __ ] crazy people lost their [ __ ] minds they could not believe that she didn't jump on the occasion to endorse Camala Harris a lot of people were starting to speculate oh

[21:47] my God is chapelon secretly a trump supporter it's another media [ __ ] storm and this one doesn't let up this [ __ ] keeps getting bigger everyone is getting involved everyone is talking about it everyone has an opinion about her

[22:02] opinion for their opinion of the opinion suddenly the political leanings of a 26-year-old girl from Missouri has become the most talked about thing on the internet and the media so so what happens

[22:15] next you know what happens next you're starting to get it Chapel gets really upset at the backlash so she posts a Tik Tok it's received very poorly there is a lot of backlash so she gets angry at the backlash and posts another Tik Tok

[22:30] responding to the backlash and it's again a very angry rant I don't agree again a very angry rant I don't agree with a lot of what is going on with like policies like obviously [ __ ] the policies of the right but also [ __ ] some

[22:45] of the policies on the left that's why I can't left that's why I can't endorse that's why I can't like put my entire name in my entire project behind one you know what is right and wrong and

[23:00] so do I [ __ ] Trump for [ __ ] real but [ __ ] some of the [ __ ] that has gone down in the Democratic party that has failed people like me and you so no I'm not going to put I'm not going to settle for what the options that are are are in

[23:16] front of me and so people see this and are just like oh and there goes chappie are just like oh and there goes chappie Ronin yelling at people again boy she sure does that a lot because uh yeah by the way uh keep in mind that everything

[23:32] I've been saying happened in the span of like a month just back to back to back to back so from a zoomed out perspective which is the perspective of most people what you end up getting is well what is currently happening Chapel rone is the

[23:48] new celebrity on the Block and the only thing you ever see of her outside of her music is her yelling at people and complaining in every situation imaginable she's yelling at her fans for being inappropriate but in a way that is

[24:03] way too generalized and makes it sound like she's calling all of her audience a photographer on the red carpet she's yelling at everyone again about politics this time but because she doesn't Express herself in the most eloquent way

[24:17] and because she is way too vague and because her rants are mostly frustration and therefore the thoughts she's expressing are not fleshed out at all the points she is trying trying to convey are the part nobody remembers

[24:31] about these rants people now just perceive her as that girl that got famous 5 minutes ago and spends all of her time screaming at people and insulting them both online and in real life it's not what's happening but that

[24:45] is how it comes across so once again people escalate because Chapel escalated because people escalated and now what she's saying doesn't matter because remember the problem for most people is not what she says it's how she's saying

[24:59] it she got a stamp on her now people have branded her as the mean girl she's rude she's aggressive she's hostile she's a diva she's disrespectful and conceited she's condescending and annoying I'm sorry I like chapon's music

[25:14] but I feel like as a celebrity she's [ __ ] insufferable I feel like when you think of like The Stereotype that people have about jenzy it's Chapel Ro Tik Tok and basically like telling people like hey you're dumb for thinking

[25:30] that I thought this way what happened was is she literally saw her target audience start turning on her and on top of that you shouldn't be approaching those sort of conversations with a sort of like condescension while also

[25:43] yourself not knowing basic facts about the candidates like the pronunciation of their names Chapel I say this from the kindest place of my heart okay put the phone down her music is very good she as a person like seems miserable and I

[25:57] out for this line of work because I think there are a lot of people who she's in but you can also see it from a much more like I think real point of view where it's like just be grateful and and grow up things are hard

[26:11] pressures we all experience different pressures in whatever job you have from a coal miner to a stay-at-home mom like there's pressure and you have to even people who are really big fans of her are being like come on and then

[26:29] guess what happened I told you Chapel has very bad timing chapone I literally love you but girlfriend that was not cool and I know that you love being able to speak your mind therefore I should be allowed to

[26:44] speak mine wasn't cool people spent real money on those tickets all these people on the plane like to go see chaperon and she canceled and they're they're fting out on the plane I think it's completely valid that people are upset because of

[26:57] don't know do people just expect them to be jumping up and down or something sitting on that plane seat and I found that out last minute I you would not hear for me again oh wait yay yeah I didn't like fly to Maryland

[27:12] from LA and pay $400 for a VIP ticket and $300 for a hotel to to only see her I didn't so I got tickets for all things go tomorrow just to see Chapel raden

[27:24] that she's not going to go anymore like the thousand thousand of people who have booked travel booked flight booked hotels and paid for the tickets to see hotels and paid for the tickets to see her and she cancels the day before it's

[27:38] like kind of crazy like all those people who are out money and PTO like people get that back like that's something they cannot get cannot get back yeah she can sold shows again two

[27:52] of them 24 hours beforehand but this time it wasn't to go to a [ __ ] award show instead she actually posted a story explaining that everything that's been happening has been too intense and too overwhelming and she needs to take a

[28:05] break because it's been affecting her health so yeah she's not the ice queen people try to make her out to be she has been feeling the effects of the non-stop escalation in ttention over the last few weeks keep in mind 6 months ago most

[28:19] people didn't even know who she was and now she has a Target the size of Jupiter on her back and you can't go 2 hours without hearing about about another thing she did that pissed people off because yeah by the way canceling these

[28:32] two shows only added to the hate that was another point of escalation now my personal opinion of all this is people are way too sensitive and parasocial relationships have gotten way out of hand because really if you really sit

[28:48] with it and think about it like a person and not like a chronically online Maniac just for a second what is truly happening is that this young woman whose life has been completely transformed is trying to find a way to navigate it

[29:02] without losing herself into it because her mental health is deteriorating in real time she's setting boundaries but she's setting boundaries on her own terms and people don't like that this is a real issue we have with the current

[29:17] state of stand culture social media has made it that people now feel a sense of ownership over the celebrities they support it sounds insane said like that but some people actually believe that they have a say in what a celebrity does

[29:33] or doesn't do with their lives and their careers and they get really pissed off when they can't B said celebrity to their will look Chapel rone shot to the top of the pyramid like a [ __ ] rocket okay she got way too big way too fast

[29:49] and I think she would agree that she hasn't been handling it the best becoming an overnight Superstar took a huge toll on her mental health she wasn't able to handle it and she was very open about struggling with it

[30:01] recently while performing at one of her shows she started crying and told the collect herself because all of this sudden success has been really overwhelming and not necessarily in a good

[30:14] good way and I feel you I just want to be honest with the crowd and I just feel

[30:29] crowd and I just feel um I just feel a little off today cuz um I just feel a little off today cuz I I think that my career has just kind of gone um really fast and it's really hard to keep up and so I just I'm just

[30:42] being honest that it's I'm just having a hard time today and people have been really confused by her these last few weeks because it seems like there's a lot of contradiction when it comes to her

[30:54] feelings about it which makes sense because the don't know this girl nobody because the don't know this girl nobody does here's the thing Chapel rone is not real no really like the entity of Chapel rone like this person it's so weird that

[31:11] rone like this person it's so weird that VIP thinks they're so way too cool to do VIP thinks they're so way too cool to do this you're character this sort of Larger than Life Persona that is super colorful and

[31:26] eccentric and over the top the chapel roome that everyone has fallen in love with is fictional KY Rose am studs is the person behind that character and we don't have a [ __ ] clue who that person is I don't know her you don't

[31:41] this is not the person you see on your screens and on stage but that line between the character and the person is starting to be blurred mostly because of her own actions but also because people who support her are being sort of

[31:56] disillusioned as to who it is they're admiring this isn't anything new by the way a lot of gigantic artists we know and love are characters some even have fictional alter egos it's more common than you think the weekend is an art

[32:11] project created by Abel Tes it's a character Childish Gambino is an art project created by Donald Glover that's not really him it's a character he's

[32:23] not really him it's a character he's playing Lady Gaga is a character created by Steph gerot hell you can go even further back in time Ziggy Stardust is a character created by David Bowie and he wasn't the only one David Bowie created

[32:39] Beyonce has a character she calls Sasha Fierce Eminem has a character named slame shady and Madonna has a character named Madam X this isn't a New Concept and it shouldn't be that hard to understand Chapel rone is not a real

[32:54] understand Chapel rone is not a real person it's an art project Kaye herself always refers to Chapel rone as her project it's her art it's not just the music it's the look The Persona the lore everything surrounding Chapel is part of

[33:09] everything surrounding Chapel is part of it it's an art piece that includes music yes she probably shares traits and similarities with her Creator that's yourself into your art but that doesn't change the fact that chappie over here

[33:23] is a character you are in a parasocial relationship with with a character but there is a real person behind that character that is experiencing all of this in real time that's where there needs to be a bit of humanity here see

[33:37] the problem with the discourse around chapelon is the classic internet polarization people want to have an absolute confirm to them there are two possible scenarios to people either chapelon is great and perfect and never

[33:51] said anything wrong or she's the [ __ ] worst and a hypocrite who wants to have it both ways classic no middle grounds that's why people were so annoyed at her political take they couldn't accept that her answer wasn't an absolute she said

[34:06] she would vote for Cala Harris but she didn't lean into it fully 110% because there is Nuance to her political stance and people [ __ ] hate that because it's not zero or one so they see this as a transgression because

[34:22] that's not how the internet functions that's the reason why there is so much discourse around Chapel rone because people can't be nuanced about her she's either a terribly entitled Diva with no heart or she's a saint who never ever

[34:37] did anything wrong but sometimes the answer is somewhere in the middle maybe Chapel doesn't know everything and doesn't handle controversy well maybe sometimes and she doesn't think before she speaks and maybe that doesn't mean

[34:52] she's a bad person maybe she's just a girl who wanted to establish some boundaries maybe she didn't go about it the right way and maybe people still made a much bigger deal out of it than it actually was or needed to be because

[35:07] the internet is unreasonable as [ __ ] two things can be true at the same time it is not zero or one as for people so aggressively getting on a 26-year-old ass over her political leanings somewhere along the line the internet

[36:45] Chapel just really needs a PR team and the thing is when you say she needs a publicist or a PR team or more media training her fans get so angry because they think her having that would make her fake and I think that is a

[36:58] misunderstanding of what a publicist does or what a PR team does getting her a PR team is not to silence her but it's to filter her takes and to make sure they can be expressed correctly in a way that's clear and that hopefully will not

[37:11] be misconstrued like a good PR team would never [ __ ] let her pose those angry jumbled rants where she yells and slams her desk and insults people they would probably just sit her down and help her write down her thoughts in a

[37:25] clear and concise way that she can then post or talk about in a more level-headed manner it's not to censor her it's just to help her have more of a filter because right now Chapel has no [ __ ] filter and that's not helping

[37:39] her wanted or not if you're going to have that type of career that type of notoriety your words have weight and power might as well do everything in your power to make sure they come out right that's why she needs a PR team not

[38:52] like every week she's canceling shows at the last possible minute and people who have spent a lot of money to travel to her concerts and to see her live uh are very upset and feel abandoned and this is where the dissociation begins a lot

[39:06] of people who follow Chapel are starting to realize that Chapel rone is a with them being confronted to the reality that maybe they don't like the

[39:46] really bad at expressing herself her feelings and her thoughts yes does she have a terrible habit of speaking out only when she's visibly way too upset to be doing that yeah is she maybe too impulsive and doesn't realize the weight

[40:00] of her words yeah but I also think everything she says and does is blown out of proportion in ways that don't really make sense after a while I think it's a very unhealthy mix of fans feeling ownership over her Paras

[40:13] socially people who don't know that darn Chappelle Rowan and have been excessively exposed to her in the worst possible light where it seems like all she does is complain and yell at everyone when really it is a significant

[40:26] minority of her online pres and she blew up and people who don't really care about any of this but find it entertaining to watch a celebrity be another unfortunate reality of the internet some people just like watching

[40:39] people getting destroyed it's just entertaining to them and maybe Chapel is a tortured sweetheart maybe she's a mean girl we don't know we're never going to know but people do need to calm the [ __ ] down with her she's clearly struggling

[40:54] her mental health is crashing right in front of our eyes for some reason her team does not protect her at all and just lets her continue to spiral like this very publicly and she just crashes out at every opportunity and it's very

[41:07] obvious that we are watching a 26-year-old girl drowning because she is in way over her head Chapel has been honest about the fact that she is very severely depressed and she's also talked about struggling pretty badly with her

[41:20] bipolar disorder and her success has always been a struggle this is [ __ ] she's been talking about since way before this year when everyone was talking about her I just wanted to share that I'm very fortunate and grateful to

[41:32] have my dream job this job is very difficult for me to process and maintain a healthy life and mindset I already have difficulty regulating my emotions because I have bip pet to disorder everything is very exciting right now

[41:47] and I'm realizing that success actually makes me quite uncomfortable and self-conscious and I'm not sure why yet again I'm repeating myself but two things can be true at the same time surprise surprise human beings are

[42:00] complex the answer is never going to be Chapel rone is the good guy or chapelon is the bad guy if the internet has corrupted your mind so much that you really do think in that binary of a way you're never going to be satisfied

[42:15] also get off the internet you need to reset your critical thinking skills You can disagree with chapel rone and also realize that people are blowing this way out of proportion just like you can love chapel rone and be a huge fan and also

[42:30] admit that her angry rants are weird and handled very poorly believe it or not criticizing someone's actions does not mean you hate them but just because there is space for valid criticism does not mean you get the green light to turn

[42:44] it into a free-for-all where you can just verbally Massacre a person into Oblivion this really is just someone who got way too famous way too quick and was clearly not mentally equipped to handle all of the things that came with that

[42:57] Fame her mental health is very clearly declining her team is clearly not doing right by her and are letting her do and say whatever the [ __ ] she wants so she is stuck in this spiral where she says things when she's upset gets backlash

[43:10] from it so she gets even more upset as a result and responds to the backlash with even more anger but she's bad at saying what she wants to say so she just yells aimlessly for a while and expects people to understand she's clearly not in a

[43:24] good place maybe we pump the brakes on the girl if anything this is just confirmation that maybe she's just not built for this maybe she is not cut out for a career of this size not with the current climate at least and that's okay

[44:30] their own careers for their own well-being Alicia Vander is one of the best examples of that in 2018 she was at the height of her career she had never been more popular Hollywood only had one name in its mouth and it was hers she

[44:45] was [ __ ] Unstoppable she had done exmachina the Danish girl jumped onto tumerator her path was open for her to become one of the biggest names in the industry and then at the height of her popularity she just sort of disappeared

[45:00] she didn't stop working but she stopped gunning for bigger and bigger projects and she explained in an interview in 2023 that being this famous was the lonliest time in her life she was absolutely miserable and so she just

[45:15] stopped chasing it now she enjoys finding roles in small Indie projects where she can dive into her work without having to be the Superstar Victoria Padre had a very similar experience I would say the most glamorous moments of

[45:29] my life I've been quite miserable Paris Fashion Week truly it was like really beautiful experience there was nice parts of it but I mean man I was really struggling on a personal level so much cuz you're like I'm supposed to be okay

[45:43] I have everything anybody could ever want Daniel Ratcliffe is another great example of that he's been very vocal about his vision of Fame not only that but he also said in an interview a couple years ago that he doesn't have

[45:56] social social media because he knows that would be terrible for him he specifically said that he can't allow himself to have Twitter because if he were to see people saying false things about him or insulting him or

[46:09] misrepresenting his words online he would just start getting into fights with people so he doesn't have social media because he knows himself and he knows what he can and cannot handle and this isn't anything new by the way a lot

[46:22] of people want to say social media caused all of this and like this is where the problem comes from as if Fame didn't affect people's mental health didn't affect people's mental health before the internet my guy Greta Garbo

[47:03] most mysterious woman in Hollywood but she admitted before dying in the80s that her biggest reason for leaving was that she hated her work Hollywood disgusted her and she was never comfortable with the fame it was too much for her so she

[47:17] walked away and dedicated her life to being as Anonymous as humanly possible she gave it all up celebrities have been struggling with being famous forever there's like so many records of it throughout history and you know what

[47:30] that's a good thing celebrities struggling with Fame is very human it means they still have their feet on the ground somewhat we've seen what happens when a famous person gets way too into their Fame and loves it so much they get

[47:59] I'd prefer for my favorite celebrities to regularly question the insanity of their own Fame because let's be honest that lifestyle is not normal nobody's wired for this I don't think the human brain is made to handle something like

[48:12] that and struggling with it mentally to this extent is probably the most normal thing that could happen to someone who still has a grasp on reality even with internet personalities this year has been full of discourse around Creator

[48:26] burnout and the growing number of YouTubers quitting or retiring more often than not because of their relationship with their own notoriety or their struggles with being in the public eye and the way she's been talking about

[48:38] it it seems like Chapel rone has that same problem you can tell there is a lot of internal conflict when it comes to her current position she seems so unhappy with this new life she looks like she's [ __ ] miserable and she'll

[48:51] talk about it on stage and cry but also will say that this is everything she's Ever Wanted clearly her relationship with her own success is fractured let the girl figure her [ __ ] out she's just in a situation where the entire world is
