Kalshi Betting Strategies with OddsJam — Step-by-Step Guide & Transcript

[00:30] OddsJam to identify these high-value opportunities before everyone else been my most consistent performer and it's one market that most bettors completely ignore on Kalshi. Let me show you why college basketball spreads are

[00:44] absolute gold on prediction markets. Over here on OddsJam's positive EV tool, we're first going to come up to the filter section, and we're going to take advantage of OddsJam's EV formula builder. I'm going to lean on two

[00:56] specific sharp sportsbooks, Circa and BookMaker, I provide a 50/50 split. Now, also, you want to make sure that down here you have this all the way to 100%. BookMaker when we're looking for specific plays. Next, you can just go

[01:13] you have accounts with, but we're going to find a lot of value on Kalshi, specifically when liquidity is under $500 on Kalshi. That's where you can find some golden opportunities. Now, for our my odds range, I like a -200 to

[01:28] +150. Anything that's between a plus and minus 200 odds range, though, feel free to attack. When it comes to our D Vig method, you can choose between these two options, power or worst case, I'm fine with either. Next, obviously, we're just

[01:42] going to select college basketball, and finally, for the market, all we want to do is focus on the point spread. The biggest reason why we focus on Circa and BookMaker for our sharps for college basketball spreads, they take more money

[01:56] on these markets than Pinnacle does. So, looking at Vanderbilt and Auburn at this plus minus three and a half, you can see that Pinnacle's taking a thousand dollars on either side. Circa is willing to take double this amount for this same

[02:10] exact spread. And you're going to see the same thing when you hop over to BookMaker and log on. They take two, sometimes three or four times more money than Pinnacle does. Whatever sports book is taking more money on their

[02:23] projections, they have more confidence in the line. So, Pinnacle isn't an optimal sports book to use as your guide. We want to lean on Circa and BookMaker because they take more money on these markets. If you wanted to take

[02:36] this a step further, focus on the Power Five conferences when it comes to college basketball spreads. Circa and BookMaker takes significantly more money on these plays compared to the lower tier conferences. Again, it's all about

[02:49] higher liquidity taken from the sharps means that there's more confidence in their line. More confidence in their line breeds more confidence for us when we find plays that have an edge using OddsJam software. But, college

[03:02] basketball is just the beginning. The second filter setup is where Kalshi's liquidity recently has exploded. These opportunities are popping up everywhere where they weren't six months ago. NBA player props is where the real money's

[03:15] being made over at Kalshi, and this is my favorite setup using a 50/50 split between FanDuel and Pinnacle. Again, I just come down here and click five for guys, when it comes to selecting the books, whatever books that you want to

[03:29] create for your custom EV formula, you can go ahead and do so right here. Plenty at your disposal. Next up then, obviously, select the sports books. For myself, it's just going to be Kalshi. And again, if you want to use a plus

[03:41] minus 200 odds range or just keep this standard where I have this, no problem at all. You will lower your variance if you make this a minimum of like minus you make this a minimum of like minus 125 to plus 125, and you will widen or

[03:53] add a little more variance if you expand your odds range. Last but not least then we're just using a Dvig of power or again you can use worst case selecting the NBA and then just player props. One other point that I want to make when it

[04:06] comes to this slider bar, you can take this all the way up to 100% where FanDuel and Pinnacle agree together or you can leave this at 50% because there are some player prop markets that Pinnacle doesn't offer and FanDuel does

[04:19] and in those instances we want to lean on FanDuel as the sharp. This strategy works incredible for pregame or live and as you can currently see we have a stoppage between the Nuggets and [music] the Cavs. We're looking at the under on

[04:31] Nikola Jokic over at Rebet at +110 odds. You can see that no other sports book is offering plus odds on this play. FanDuel sees this as a massive heavy favorite of a -174 meaning you would have to put up $174 to profit $100 where over at Rebet

[05:12] where we're attacking money lines, point spreads, and totals, all main markets. With this third and final setup, this is my favorite filters when I'm going after all main leagues like the NBA, the NHL, the NFL, college basketball, college

[05:27] football, all of the main soccer leagues as well. We're using a three-book blend between Pinnacle, Circa, and Bookmaker. Threes across the board for all three of these books and then when it comes to our slider bar here at the bottom, I

[05:43] want 50%. I'm okay with having two of the books agree on the price. Again, two sharp books in agreement with one another is fantastic. If you want to take this all the way up to 100% and have all three books agree, you're going

[05:57] to see less plays, but the plays that do pop up, you should have immense confidence in. Again, the odds range is the same, somewhere between a plus and minus 200. Feel free as always to tinker with this, whatever [music] is based on

[06:10] your personal preference. We're going to go after all major leagues, whatever's currently in season right now. For myself, it's the NBA, [music] it's college basketball, it's the NHL, and then I like to go after some of the main

[06:23] soccer leagues right here where we can go ahead and attack because there's a upcoming weekend. [music] When you have two sharp sports books agree together attacking any sports book, but specifically Kambi, this is a recipe for

[06:37] success. As you can see in this example right here with Richmond, we see that BookMaker and Pinnacle have very similar priced odds here. Now, while the EV edge is low and our bet recommendation is low, I like to bet at least 1 and 1/2 to

[06:52] two times above the bet recommendation because we have two sharp books that are in agreement together, which provides me more confidence. Prediction markets are a trade yes or no contract type of system where they deal with cents

[07:32] type in a wager amount and then find out what the payout is over at Kambi, making sure that the odds match what I'm seeing over here at Odds Jam. So again, using the odds Converter calculator, typing in your wager amount here is going to

[07:45] provide you your win amount and the payout. So, using the Prediction Market calculator and the Odds Converter calculator will help you double or triple check to make sure that you're receiving the exact correct price. Price
