Doom's Secret Team Revealed?
45sImmediately teases a major mystery about the upcoming Avengers movie, sparking curiosity and debate.
βΆ Play Clip"Delivers on its promise of theorizing about Doom's team, but spends significant time on sponsor reads and tangents, diluting the core content."
The video speculates on which Marvel heroes might secretly be aligned with Doctor Doom in the upcoming 'Avengers: Doomsday,' analyzing character absences and comic book parallels. It focuses on Wanda Maximoff, Doctor Strange, and several X-Men, suggesting they could be part of Doom's team in the multiversal conflict.
The movie features X-Men, Fantastic Four, two Avengers teams, Thor, and Steve Rogers, but the focus is on who might be on Doom's side.
Characters like Wanda, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Spider-Man, Vision, and Wolverine are absent, with some explanations (Hulk in psychiatric ward) but others remain mysterious.
Both are sorcerers with Darkhold experience and multiverse interaction, making their absence suspicious; they are likely on Doom's team.
Wanda nearly killed Thanos, created souls from the multiverse, and likely survived Multiverse of Madness via a red energy blast, possibly landing in the Void.
Doom might build Battleworld in the Void, using Wanda's reality-warping and hex abilities to brainwash inhabitants, similar to Secret Wars 2015.
Leaked images show a masked character with a third eye slit, identified as our Doctor Strange, possibly recruited by Clea to work for Doom.
The Ancient One (orange cloak), Cynthia von Doom, Sylvie, or Loki (green cloak) could be among Doom's witches, with Wanda as the red one.
Storm and Jean Grey, powerful omega-level mutants, might have been saved by Doom from dying in incursions, becoming his enforcers, possibly with Phoenix Force.
Rogue, who can steal powers, could be on Doom's team, possibly taking Captain Marvel's powers and giving them to Doom, explaining Captain Marvel's absence.
Doom's line 'Hell answers to me' hints at Ghost Rider (Ryan Gosling or Nicolas Cage) joining his side after Doom defeats Mephisto.
The video theorizes that several major heroes, including Wanda, Doctor Strange, and X-Men like Storm and Jean Grey, will be revealed as members of Doctor Doom's team, setting up dramatic unmasking reveals and a complex multiversal conflict.

17:12[00:01] the X-Men, the Fantastic 4, two teams of Avengers, and two OG Avengers in Thor and Steve Rogers. It is going to be huge. But with all these teams joining forces against RDJ's Dr. Doom, it makes you wonder, well, who does Doom have on
[00:16] his roster? And here's a little tease for you. That new cast of X-Men, we may think. Hey, welcome back to Screen Crush. I'm Colton Agburn and I want to give you guys a rundown of secret Marvel
[00:28] characters that we think are actually part of Doom's team in Avengers Doomsday. We are going to talk about his mass Liberian witches and this dude, but also some others that we have yet to even get glimpses of in trailers or even
[00:41] leaks. And we are going to talk about how some of the most notable missing cast members from Doomsday could actually be on Team Doom. And they were all teased here at the 2024 San Diego Comic-Con. And look, spoiler warning,
[00:55] okay? If you don't want to know anything about this movie, I am going to reference some popular theories and rumors and even reports about the movie anyone and everyone that would be watching a screen crush video about
[01:09] Avengers Doomsday. But still, there is your spoiler warning. So, like I was saying, this movie, it is jam-packed with characters. But even with this massive cast, there are some characters that are glaringly absent, such as Wanda
[01:22] Maximoff, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel, Hulk, Spider-Man, Vision, Wolverine. I could go on. Now, some of these characters have simple explanations for their absence, such as Bruce Banner having been sent to a
[01:34] psychiatric award, which is probably a DODC torture chamber, but that's a video a video on that. Feel free to check it out. Now, we of course saw that happen in Spider-Man Brand New Day, but it was also in Brand New Day that Yolena gave
[01:47] her big potato spiel about where Spider-Man fits in the hierarchy of superheroing. And speaking of, be sure to check out our big potato threat shirt crushmmerch.com. Anyway, so that's Hulk. That's Spider-Man. We can maybe
[02:00] understand, at least in universe, why they aren't popping up in Doomsday. Some others that come to mind, especially with the Fox era X-Men returning, are Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. And look, he's in the movie. They all but confirmed it
[02:13] >> Rounding out the cast, dude. They've got like 28 people. Why the hell do they >> Because we're the golden ones. >> And as for some characters that are seemingly absent, there may be this simple explanation of there just wasn't
[02:26] room for them in the movie. There wasn't a why. There wasn't a reason to have them. Such as like Star-Lord. I I think he's probably not in Doomsday, but he is being saved for Secret Wars. And when you have this many characters, sometimes
[02:38] it can just prove difficult to give them all a role in one film. And for a lot of these characters, you can explain pretty easily in story why they aren't there. Again, let's use Star-Lord as an example. Last we saw him, he was kind of
[02:52] >> Thought you were, you know, retired. But the ones that are really sticking out to me as like blatantly absent. Like, how the hell are they not in this movie? Those two are Wanda and Doctor Strange. These two characters have not only been
[03:07] major pillars of the Infinity Saga, but the Multiverse saga as well with W Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. But they are also key players in the comics that led up to Hickman's Secret Wars and in Hickman's Secret Wars
[03:21] himself. Plus, Wanda and Strange are both sorcerers like Doom. They have both used the Darkhold and their magic to interact with the multiverse. So, how do you do a Doctor Doom multiversal Avengers movie and not have these two in
[03:34] it? Well, you don't because they are in it, I think. Let me explain. So, with all the Marvel news coming out of D23, it is a good time to be a Marvel fan. Whether it's the movies, books, or the games, like I've been playing a ton of

[05:07] Doom to the competition in Marvel Tokon Fighting Souls. Now, back to what I was Wanda, the Scarlet Witch. In Avengers Infinity War, she had to do the unthinkable and kill her beloved vision to save the universe. But then Thanos,
[05:21] he reversed time, still got the mind stone, still snapped. And a few moments later, she was dusted from existence. Then boom, she dusts back and finds herself again on a battlefield with Thanos. And she stomps his ass.
[05:34] >> You took everything from me. >> I don't even know who you are. >> Kevin Feige has even said that Wanda came really close to beating Thanos in that moment. In fact, she would have killed him in that moment if not for him
[05:49] calling Rain Fire. We then of course see Wanda in Wanda vision coping with the loss of vision and she has allowed her grief to consume her leading to her creating a false reality hex around the town of Westview where she has
[06:01] brainwashed the town and created a facade for her to live in with vision and now their two sons Billy and Tommy. We later learn that Wanda didn't merely make these children up but she actually pulled their likeness from the
[06:13] multiverse in other universes. This house and her children are real. It's >> Okay. So, Mom, >> so this means that not only was Wanda powerful enough to brainwash all of these people and warp reality to her
[06:27] liking, she was also able to one create souls of her children in universe 616, pull their likeness from across the multiverse, but also her magic was tapping into the multiverse to create all of these things. And that was just a
[06:42] glimpse of Wanda's power that will no doubt be handy for Dr. Doom. and I think will likely come into play in Doomsday or at least Secret Wars. Now, in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, we see Wanda kind of fall off her rocker
[06:56] again and she becomes obsessed with searching the multiverse to find her children. She breaks bad again, almost as if those who wrote the movie hadn't >> I said, "Do you know what we're doing in Wision?
[07:09] seen it. But come the end of the movie, she collapses Mount Wonderore where the dark hold is like written on the walls and seemingly she destroys herself. But if you look closely, we see this little blast of red energy. And I think that's
[07:23] a clear sign that she is not dead. We never saw a body. And I think what she tried to do was wipe herself from existence, thus landing herself in the void at the end of time where pruned people go. After all, in Deadpool and
[07:37] Wolverine, we see this relief of Wanda from Mount Wigor in Multiverse of Madness in the void. Now, if Dr. Doom has been studying the multiverse for some time now, it's possible, perhaps even likely, that he is very familiar
[07:50] with the void at the end of time. In fact, I think that's where he plans to build his kingdom, also known as Battleworld. Once the multiverse collapses, I think we will see Doom take a page out of Cassandra Nova's playbook
[08:02] and create his kingdom within the void. And prior to that, I think we could see Doom find Wanda in the void and eventually use her power to not only warp reality and create his kingdom, but also cast a hex around the kingdom to
[08:17] brainwash all of those within it. Remember, in Secret Wars 2015, pretty much none of our heroes remember the multiverse before Battle World. All they know and remember is their life under the gracious rule of God Emperor Doom.
[08:30] And Wanda could be the one making that happen via a hex. and she could very well be one of these witches under these masks. Now, personally, I hope we don't see a Wanda who is yet again breaking bad and like being corrupted by dark
[08:44] magic or doom like she was with the dark hole. I also don't want to see a Wanda that breaks bad simply because she's angry and wants her kids and vision back. I hope what we see with Wanda is a Wanda that genuinely thinks that she is
[08:57] being a hero, being a good guy, and fighting for the greater good by teaming up with Doom, who shares the face of her old friend Tony Stark. All right, so that's Wanda. Now, we have Doctor Strange. So, there were some recent
[09:10] if you don't want to know about him, uh, leaked images from Doomsday, featuring this guy. Now, you'll notice in his mask's forehead there is a slit for a third eye. Now, who else has a third eye? Yep, Doctor Strange. We also need
[09:24] to remember that in the 2015 Secret Wars comics, Strange works under Doom as Sheriff Strange in Battle World. So, it is with great certainty that I say this character, who is being called Boris, is Doctor Strange, not a variant of Doctor
[09:39] Strange, but our Doctor Strange. Why is he now Team Doom? Well, that was teased in the postredit scene of Multiverse of Madness when he was recruited by one of exact. Clea, >> you caused an incursion and we're going
[09:53] to fix it. >> Clea is a very powerful sorceress who I believe could already be on team Doom trying to correct the problems in the multiverse and she recruited Strange at the request of Doom to help save reality
[10:06] or bend it to Doom's will. Now, I should also say, speaking of the colors of these witches robes, obviously Clea would be the purple one, right? But we also have this orange one. And that could totally be another very powerful
[10:18] sorcerer, the ancient one, who wears a similar color and who was involved in the time heist in Endgame and warned of the dangers of the multiverse and >> Now, this may benefit your reality, but my new one, not so much.
[10:32] >> She was also the first character to even mention the multiverse in the MCU way back in the first Doctor Strange movie. We harness energy drawn from other spells. >> I think that the ancient one could
[10:46] totally be on team doom. And what's interesting is that the ancient one, strange, clea doom, they all at one point or another in the comics have been sorcerer supreme. Now, another color of cloak that we have seen is green. And
[10:59] this one could be maybe Cynthia von Doom, the mother of Doom, and that could be why she and Doom wear the same color. It could be Sylvie who thinks that she is doing the right thing and saving the multiverse and maybe even selfishly
[11:11] trying to get Loki back in her life and free him from sitting on that throne. Loki himself. >> Can't see into the future. I'm not a >> No. Why' you dress like one? >> And rumor has it that there are many
[11:23] more witches and many more robe colors that we have yet to see. And one of them could be a red one. And that would of course be Wanda. Now earlier I mentioned Wolverine as a character that is like glaringly absent from this lineup. And I
[11:35] have said for years now that there is no way, especially after bringing him back in Deadpool and Wolverine and having that immense success of Deadpool and movie that involved the TVA and the void, there's no way that your next
[11:49] Deadpool and Wolverine. And especially with the Fox era X-Men confirmed to return in Doomsday, that really just sealed the deal for me. Wolverine's totally in the movie. But there are some other glaringly absent X-Men, I would
[12:03] say, from that Fox era of X-Men, and those two are Storm and Gan Gray. It's possible, perhaps even likely, that we will learn in the first few minutes of Doomsday, that the X-Men have been fighting incursions for years, and that
[12:17] Storm and Gan have both died in the process. Or so they thought. Both of these characters would be fine additions to Team Doom. They are both unbelievably powerful omega level mutants. So, if at the end of Doomsday when we see Doom and
[12:31] all of his masked followers, like was teased here at Comic-Con, if we see them all begin to remove their masks as Battle World is born and we see a Halib Berry andor a Funky Jansen revealed, I'm going to be ecstatic. I mean, imagine we
[12:45] learn in Doomsday that Storm andor Gan got left behind in a universe that the X-Men were having to destroy to save their own. Similar to, spoiler warning, similar to what's rumored to happen with Wolverine in his fight with Tobey
[12:59] Magcguire's Spider-Man at the beginning of the movie and him getting left behind in Toby's universe as it implodes. I really like the idea of the X-Men thinking they lost these fellow X-Men, Gene and Storm. But in reality, perhaps
[13:12] they were saved by Dr. Doom as he has assembled his team across the multiverse and presented these two characters with an alternative to doing the very thing only save their universe, but put a stop to incursions. Now, we did mention that
[13:26] orangecloaked witch, which could be the ancient one, but it's also got to make there. Not Satie Sync's Jean Gray, but the funky gene. Perhaps the one that we saw at the end of Days of Future Past, but that has perhaps been duped by Doom.
[13:40] And maybe Doom has even helped her to unlock the Phoenix Force and she is one of his key enforcers. The whole idea of this unmasking scene that I've been predicting is that our heroes will be crushed to see their friends under these
[13:53] scene will of course be when Doom removes his mask and Steve Rogers and Thor and the other MCU Avengers see the face of who they know as Tony Stark. But if they do this scene where we see Doom and all of his masked henchmen removing
[14:07] those masks, well, we're going to have members of the Fox X-Men there alongside some of their old friends under these masks. I mean, can you imagine Cyclops
[14:19] learning that one of Doom's fighters is his wife, Jean Gray, or Xavier seeing his beloved pupil storm under one of these masks and having joined the very enemy that he's been fighting? Those would be devastating reveals for our
[14:32] X-Men. Now, while I'm on the topic of X-Men that could be Team Doom, we do have to talk Rogue. Rogue is one of my favorite X-Men, and she was recently cast in the MCU to be played by Obsession Star Andy Navarati. Now,
[14:44] Rogue, her power is that she can take other people's powers. In fact, in the comics, we've seen her be a part of the evil Brotherhood of Mutants, and we've seen her steal the power of Carol Danver's Captain Marvel. So, it wouldn't
[14:56] be far-fetched in the slightest to see her character on a villain team, or more accurately, an antagonist team. And as we have theorized in previous videos, Doom does have this clasp on his cape that looks like Captain Marvel's logo.
[15:09] made as part of his armor for defeating one of the biggest threats that would have stood in his way, Captain Marvel. That could explain not only her absence in the film, but going back to Rogue and maybe her being team Doom, maybe it is
[15:22] Rogue who is with Doom who took Carol Danver's powers and then perhaps gave them to Dr. Doom. I mean, we've talked a lot about this idea of Dr. Doom stealing powers from various characters in this movie. In fact, it could be Rogue that
[15:37] various characters and bestowing them upon Doom, such as Loki's power, which Doom is rumored to steal. Now granted, it is established in Multiverse of Madness that a sorcerer like Wanda or Strange can take someone's powers. So
[15:52] Doom would not need Rogue to do that for him, but it's just an idea. I have long said that with the mutant saga coming and the mutant scare that is going to be propagated by people like Valentina, the DODC and Jonah Jameson, having mutants
[16:06] be the villains in non-exmen movies like an Avengers movie. That's a good idea to create that tension and set the stage for like a Civil War 2 or an Avengers versus X-Men in phase 7. And that's exactly what they did with Gan Gray in
[16:21] Spider-Man Brand New Day. They used her as a villain. She had that brief heel turn throughout Spider-Man, but then she had her face turn and has now been set could do something very similar with Rogue. Now, that's all assuming they use
[16:34] the MCU Rogue, but maybe Doom's rogue could be a multiversal rogue, perhaps the Fox X-Men universe rogue, and they bring back Anna Pacquin. I think that's unlikely, but hey, when in the multiverse? And to quickly put a pin in
[16:47] the Captain Marvel bit, no, I do not think she is dead, but I wouldn't be surprised if we learn that Doom removed her from the board very early, like caught her off guard and locked her away in like the dungeon of his castle just
[17:00] to make sure that she could not stand in his way as he began to enact his plan. Okay. And one more character that I wanted to mention is quite frankly a bit of a long shot, but in the most recent Doomsday trailer, we did hear Doom say,
[17:12] >> "Hell answers to me." We also had the recent confirmation that Ryan Gosling will be playing the MCU's Ghost Rider. And there have been rumors that he may actually pop up before his solo outing. And if hell answers to doom, and if this
[17:27] is a doom that has perhaps already saved his mother from the clutches of hell and Meisto, which is his goal for a long time in the comics, then perhaps this spirit of vengeance, the ghost rider, who had a deal with the devil, Meisto,
[17:41] maybe following Doom's defeat of said devil, the ghost rider hell now answers to Doom. That would be a pretty dope way to introduce Gosling's Ghost Rider before we get his solo movie. Or since it's the multiverse, bring in Nick
[17:56] Cage's Ghost Rider. Your soul is stained by the blood of the innocent. Feel their >> All right, so those are just some of the characters that I think could be on team Doom. Let me know your thoughts and theories down in the comments below. If
