Vision Quest Quantum Code Easter Egg — Full Breakdown & Transcript

[00:06] the pinstripes. What is Voss, and Marvel's Vision Quest hides one of the coolest and kind of creepiest Easter eggs that I've ever seen from the MCU, and I need to spend a whole video

[00:33] of this in our trailer breakdown video, but now with the help of a few of our followers on Reddit like Ken Pacis and apprehensive Pi 6752 and data scientist commenter Indiana Coahones, we can make out what this code translates to and

[00:46] what it means for Vision on this series, which I think will both resurrect Wanda in Avengers Secret Wars. >> I request elaboration. >> Allow me to elaborate. We are celebrating this return of Peak Marvel

[01:11] of summer in our remember it shirt under that big Labowski cardigan. The Dan abides. Also, hey, I'm wearing that same shirt. Okay, in the Vision Quest Vision approaching his digital mind mansion, he wears one three-piece suit

[01:25] that has gray diagonal plaid designs. But then in the shot when Ultron jokes we switch to Vision now wearing a after this in the elevator. And then while sitting beside Ultron in the

[01:38] cinema, looking at the footage of his son Tommy on the police CCTV footage and out at the grounds that are part of a computer circuit board. And those pinstripes are made up of quantum code. From what I can tell, there are 14

[01:50] pinstripes on Vision's vest with code text that repeats on the lapels and can figure it all out by just going line by line on the vest. And again, I did already done, but the real Lord's work was done first by user can pacis on

[02:05] transcriptions by user Apprehensive Pi6752, also known as Beacon Slim 15 on Instagram. Okay, so if we rotate this 90° counterclockwise and then start from the top from Vision's left arm, the first line says constant reduced plank

[02:20] first line says constant reduced plank constant equals 1.0545718 E to the 34th equals Hamiltonian equals creation something. So we're getting some references here to constants within quantum mechanics. The Hamiltonian

[02:33] constant represented by a capital H represents the total energy of a system, energy. It ties directly into Planck's constant, represented by this symbol that looks like a lowercase H, which is really a fundamental constant used to

[02:46] measure a photon's energy as being equal to its frequency multiplied by the plank constant. And a particle's momentum being equal to the wave number of the associated matter wave, the reciprocal of the wavelength multiplied by plank's

[02:58] of the wavelength multiplied by plank's constant. Planck's constant is 6.6267015 constant also called the derat constant or h bar written as this symbol is

[03:11] plank's constant divided by 2 * pi equal roughly to 1.054571817 054571817 * 1034 JW seconds in quantum mechanics. It appears constantly in core equations

[03:23] such as the shrouding equation and the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. Now great observation here when it comes to this declaration of the reduced plank constant. They wrote the constant 1.05457180

[03:40] the value. As of 2019, it was updated to 1.0545. 054571817 * 1034th and they wrote I don't know if that's intentional but if it is it's a genius detail vision was introduced in Age of Ultron which is set in 2015 the

[03:55] value written here is from code data 2014 so he would source this value from there with code data 2019 it was updated though after Vision's death in Infinity War set in 2018 if Vision's source of this constant was never updated after

[04:07] sword resurrected him it would only make sense that he would only know this excellent point Dude, from the point of Swords resurrection of Vision in 2023 after his death in 2018, what we consider to be White Vision would be a

[04:21] knowledge. When Scarlet Vision updated him with memories during the ship of thesia scene, it would have been only what Wanda remembered of Vision up until his death of 2018. And since in this show, we learned that Vision contains a

[04:34] programming. For that ultron to stay trapped in vision cyberspace, this external network where this updated reduced plank constant could be found. Okay, moving on to the second line. Math.mmatrix constant equals x

[04:48] values.length constant electron mass equals 9.1093 e1st. This is a reference to the known mass of an electron being 9.1093837

[05:04] main.eds i throughj constant function equals math.zer in as math. matrix. According to user can basis, they're wondering if this is a triagonal test. say that these lines are basically an algorithm to solve the shrodinger

[05:20] equation. It apparently uses the finite difference matrix method to calculate the state of a particle in a system. It basically deres what discrete states a particle has in a so-called potential well. When particles are in a discrete

[05:32] position, they are trapped in that potential well. Much like Vision being were throwing a lot of math at you. And I know if you've watched New Rockstars Shrodinger, you're probably like, "Oh, Schrodinger's cat multiverse. His sort

[05:46] Schrodinger accomplished a number of beyond just his famous thought experiment involving poisoning and simultaneously not poisoning his cat in a covered box. The Schrodinger equation

[05:58] is a partial differential equation that governs the wave function of a system. It's the quantum counterpart to Newton's second law in classical mechanics that how a system will change over time. We get to more of this in the next line.

[06:11] get to more of this in the next line. Line four, math. Een equals Hamiltonian constant sense of self equals equals equals 1 constant kinetic reduced plank constant. Okay, so we're starting to get a sense here that this code is a way for

[06:24] Vision to try to compute his very own sense of self. I got to be honest, much knowledge. But I think the takeaway here is that vision derives his identity or is trying to derive his identity from code that can only be found within a

[06:37] intelligence from a divine source like the mindstone and sources derived from it like Wanda Maximoff's derivative magic fused with algorithms written by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner basically Jarvis and Ultron. Now commenter Indiana

[06:50] Kahones says that they're a data scientist and notice the term IEG as explanation. They said think about how we would measure a cube. It has three dimensions, length, width, and height. A cube has eight points on the corners.

[07:03] Now, to transform this into two dimensions, you create a 3x3 matrix of space differences between the points. This matrix will give you IGEN vectors. this way. These calculations will give you the optimal angle to hold a

[07:16] flashlight to a 3D cube to create the ideal 2D shadow. You can see how the multiverse saga. I will leave you with one more fun Easter egg with multi-dimensional mathematics. I used a 3D cube as my example. A 4D cube is a 3D

[09:19] equation. On line 9, we see kinetic reduced plank constant 1.05457180 And then on line 10, N set I, comm, J, kinetic plus math. Constant N equals X values.length, length comma constant and

[09:35] then something else. Then on line 11, my dollar sign cubit equals my dollar sign prob synthetic potential energy semicolon use string semicolon use warnings semicolon use something else. Now user can basis believes this is

[09:51] pearl syntax referring to vision trying to ascertain the synthetic world that he created for himself. Then line 12 things get interesting. 0x61 0x60 0x20 0x49 get interesting. 0x61 0x60 0x20 0x49 0x3F 0x 0 section equals ABS dollar sign

[10:07] 0x3F 0x 0 section equals ABS dollar sign cubit arrow to 0 - + 2 my dollar sign probe user something else. I understand it sounds crazy for me to be code that's meant to be said out loud. It's code that's meant to only exist in

[10:20] hexadimal code. And according to our two friends on Reddit, you can convert every two character code after the 0x so that it either translates to who am I or what am I. Then line 13 dollar sign square root underscore inverted or inverted

[10:35] square root s cubit dollar sign cubit arrow to zero and then dollar sign cubit arrow to zero and then dollar sign cubit arrow to one text semicolon global start. According to user can pastis, this seems like an x86 assembly code.

[10:48] There are other references like section s as well. Pearl and assembly syntax much sense to me. It might be to show two incompatible things coexisting like Vision and Ultron living together. And then the last visible line print equals

[11:03] something measure dollar sign cubit print current dollar sign square<unk> 2 inverted equals dollar sign cubit to zero dollar sign cubit to one. According to user Ken Basis, he says this looks like Pearl syntax. This seems like it's

[11:17] something different from the Schrodinger equation, but it is still quantum related. As far as you can tell, this is related to hatamard gate, especially the square root invar. It takes the inverse square root of some state to derive a

[11:29] computing to take something definite and make it undecided or vice versa. Basically turns concrete values to quantumish values or quantumish ones to see it like the door between the real world and vision's own world. I mean to

[11:44] kind of have to get the basic tenets of like quantum mechanics which is really like there are classical Newtonian physics that apply to the world that we feel and perceive and that there's a separate quantum world with completely

[11:57] different sets of theoretical physics that apply to that world. And maybe for. Like everything that he's experiencing in his digital world is kind of a quantum world with its own seemingly impossible physics. Really,

[12:10] costume designer who worked on the series, Sarah Young. She won an Oscar on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Willow and Mad Max Fury Road and interestingly, non-Marvel Robert Downey Jr. titles like 2020's Too Little and 2011 Sherlock

[12:25] a similar insane level of detail sewn into the costumes in Agatha All by Daniel Salon and Wanivision by MySc Rubio. And I think there's just of these costumemers are trying to outdo and oneup each other. My suspicion is

[12:38] that Sarah Young consulted with a data scientist and a quantum computing expert and headwriter Terry Matalis and another writer on this series how to generate referencing Vision's attempt to compute his own search for his identity. One

[12:51] you do or don't understand all of this quantum code, here's something you might understand. We only see Vision wearing these coded pinstripes in scenes with Like go back through the trailer when Vision is in the lower levels of the

[13:05] talking to Jarvis, Edith, Dummy, and you. He's wearing the plaid design, but in scenes with Ultron, he switches to the code pinstripe three-piece. So, my conclusion from that observation is that this all might be Ultron's way of trying

[13:18] to reassemble his identity and break free of Vision. Or if this is a suit that Vision just wears in episode 2 only, maybe that whole episode is footsteps of Ultron's awakening in Age of Ultron. Remember when Ultron first

[13:31] became sentient and quickly judged what humanity was all about? We've learned sentient buried in this consciousness since his supposed death in the 2015 himself in painting up in that attic. So, if Ultron can live on in Vision's

[13:45] mind mansion as this sort of memory, doesn't it logically follow that some digital expression of Wanda Maximoff can as well? If her mind activated magic was Like we've been so focused on the pinstripes that we kind of forget the

[13:58] together. It's in the shape of the opening that's now on White Vision's head where the Mindstone used to be. The same shape that's above the front door of this mansion and the shape of Ultron's back window. That's effectively

[14:11] identity. It's where some trace of Wanda must also reside. I mean, I already pointed out the error code at the end of this trailer was vssnw.da143 or vision Wanda I love you. And since this season's final episode seems to be

[14:26] Avengers Doomsday releases on December how one of the divisions of Dr. Doom's battle world is a region called Perfection from Jonathan Hickman Secret Wars comics. Perfection is basically a

[14:38] universe where Ultron was victorious. And in the context of the Marvel hypothetical universe where Ultron was victorious in the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, where he successfully slammed the Skovian city back into

[14:50] Earth, killing all life on the planet, and then rebuilt a tech utopia from the will introduce that hypothetical reality from Ultron's viewing window. Ah, Sarah Young, Terry Matalis, come on the show to explain these pinstripes, please. And
