AI Summary

This case study breaks down Ryze Coffee, a mushroom coffee supplement brand generating roughly $5 million a month through a subscription model. The video explains the MRR psychology, landing page and ad strategies, and how to recreate the model — including AI-generated ads and a $50 Facebook testing framework.

[01:02]
Revenue and ad scale

Ryze (Raise) is generating between $5.6M and $9.9M per month, conservatively $5M, while running 6,200 ads. Winning Hunter is used to pull these metrics.

[01:42]
Best-selling product

The top product is mushroom coffee with 30 servings, promising two main benefits: more energy and better gut health.

[02:09]
Subscription lock-in strategy

Supplement brands claim strong health benefits, then lure customers into 3–12 month subscriptions by saying benefits only appear after consistent use.

[02:35]
Coffee as the perfect daily vehicle

Coffee is an existing daily addiction, so adding mushroom powder to it makes the supplement easy to use every day and positions it as a superfood/superdrink.

[03:19]
Winning ad psychology

The best-performing ad calls out the dad bod, low energy, and puffy face, then walks through skepticism and a two-week trial to overcome objections.

[05:46]
The MRR model

Monthly recurring revenue replaces one-time purchases with repeated payments. One buyer pays $93 once vs $184 as a subscriber over 4 months.

[06:43]
Losing money on order one

The intro price barely covers product and ad costs, so month one often breaks even or loses money. Real profit hits on month two's rebill, and the model takes 2–3 months to become profitable.

[07:23]
Sell a ritual, not a product

The landing page says 'Start your new ritual' to emphasize consistency. It uses a 'best value' bundle, $57 vs $115 anchor, and an auto-applied discount with no code needed.

[08:14]
Tie usage to results

The page pushes 'two cups per day for faster results,' which makes customers consume the product faster and reorder sooner.

[09:20]
Native reply-format ad

The first ad uses a fake comment/reply format to handle the 'too expensive' objection, stacks $100 of free gifts plus 40% off, and adds once-a-year urgency.

[11:39]
Benefit-stacked ad for men over 40

The second ad laser-targets 'men over 40,' stacks a clear benefit for each mushroom, repeats the 'for 2 weeks' phrase, and uses AI comic book art to keep attention.

[12:56]
AI ad recreation workflow

Use a competitive product image, change packaging colors, then feed a world-class direct-response ad strategist prompt to Claude/OpenAI connected to Higgs Field via MCP. Generate clips and edit in CapCut.

[15:12]
Facebook ads testing strategy

Run a $50 CBO with 3 ad sets, each with a different angle and its own dedicated landing page. After 3 days, double down on the best-performing set.

[17:16]
Winning supplement criteria

Look for a consumable that runs out in 30 days, 75% gross margin, strong hooks (energy, sleep, gut, beauty), visual-friendly demo, and proven demand with a fresh untapped angle.

[19:33]
Pros and cons of the model

Pros: recurring revenue and outspending on ads. Cons: month one often breaks even, needs cash reserves, expensive customer acquisition, churn kills MRR, and legal compliance around supplements is stricter. The creator also avoids China for supplement sourcing.

Subscription supplements succeed by bundling a daily habit with strong health claims, a sticky subscription model, and psychologically driven landing pages and ads. Success requires cash flow to absorb early losses, ethical product sourcing, and a unique angle to stand out.

Tutorial Checklist

1 01:02 Use Winning Hunter to analyze a successful supplement brand: check revenue, number of ads, Trustpilot score, and best-selling product.
2 02:35 Pick a daily consumable habit (like coffee) and add a supplement angle — e.g., mushroom coffee for energy and gut health.
3 07:23 Build a landing page that sells a 'ritual' — bundle gifts, show anchor pricing (e.g., $57 vs $115), and auto-apply the discount with no code.
4 08:14 Tell customers to use the product twice per day to tie usage to faster results and speed up repurchase.
5 09:20 Create native reply-format ads that address the top objection, stack perceived value ($100 free + 40% off), and add real urgency.
6 12:56 Recreate winning ads with AI: use a competitor image, change the packaging/branding, then feed a 'world-class direct response ad strategist' prompt to Claude/OpenAI connected to Higgs Field via MCP; stitch clips in CapCut.
7 15:12 Launch a $50 CBO with 3 ad sets, each targeting a different angle and driving to its own dedicated landing page; after 3 days, double down on the winner.
8 17:16 Validate the supplement: it should be consumable in 30 days, have at least 75% gross margin, and combine proven demand with a fresh angle.

[00:02] million in just 30 days selling mushrooms. Yes, mushrooms. Unlike traditional drop shipping where somebody buys your product and then they receive it, this brand is doing something called a subscription model where you

[00:16] essentially buy the product and you subscribe to it. Now, the $5 a month isn't the craziest part. It's about how it's done. And that's the exact reason breaking down a subscription supplement brand called Ryze Coffee to show you

[00:32] guys why this subscription business is a complete game changer. Now, what I've created a Myra board that covers everything going over the breakdown, how to do it, and how to rebuild everything. So, once we hit 500 likes on this video,

[00:48] comment and in the description below. As you can see on my computer screen that this e-com subscription supplement brand is making $5 a month and how they're doing it. So, you can see on my screen here, we've got the brand up called Ryze

[01:02] or Raise. And you can see here it says they're generating between 5.6 to 9.9 conservative side, I've said 5 million. It could probably be a lot more than Now, you can see that they're running 6,200

[01:16] ads. That is completely crazy, and that's why I'm not surprised that these revenue numbers are being shown. Now, if you're wondering what I'm using to find called Winning Hunter where it shows me how many ads are being ran, what's the

[01:30] revenue, what's their Trustpilot score, what's their best selling product, and I use Winning Hunter to break down any successful e-commerce brand or drop shipping store. That shows us that this

[01:42] is a legit supplement brand. So, you can see here their best selling products is this here, which is the mushroom coffee with 30 servings. So, you can see here 60-day serving, drink two creamy cups

[01:54] and better gut health. So, they're promising you two things here, which is more energy and gut health. So, that's the health benefit of this supplement. And remember, what most of these brands do to make so much money is they claim

[02:09] crazy health benefits, sell it you as a supplement, you then subscribe to them for a minimum of 3 to 12 months, and they lure you into long subscriptions because they say only the benefits will show if you stay on them long enough.

[02:22] Now, the reason why this is what I call a winning supplement product is because essentially you're allowed to put in something that you love every day. Most people love coffee and they're addicted to it and they have it every day. This

[02:35] brand so smart because they're saying, "If you drink coffee and then put two scoops of this in your coffee, you're now going to get more better gut health And you're not going to get those dips that you get after coffee." And this

[02:49] this. There's another one that does collagen coffee, and they go over again something that people love every day, which is coffee, making it into a superfood or superdrink. Now, if we go back to their best-performing ads, let's

[03:05] for you to buy it. Okay, I'm not going to watch the full ad, but this is such a powerful ad and the reason why it works and it gets people hooked and addicted most men feel, which is they have the

[03:19] dad bod, they go out drinking, they have no energy, their face is puffy, they've tried all these things like green smoothies, probiotics, they don't seem to work. They're clearly calling out the person. They're talking about what

[03:32] worked. Then in the ad he said he was skeptical, then he tried it for 2 weeks, and now it's worked. So, they've covered everything mentally, psychologically that would stop you from buying this and responded so that you now feel confident

[03:46] into the next part of today's case study, I wanted to make a quick announcement. If you've been looking for the best mentoring, we're not talking about group mentoring, we're talking about one-to-one mentoring for your

[03:59] experience, then you're in the right place. The amount of people that reach comment on the video saying, "Do you have one-to-one mentoring? Can I work with you?" Then, yes, guys, [music] I do offer a one-to-one mentorship. And it

[04:13] isn't just any mentorship. We've been offering mentoring in the drop shipping space now for over 7 years, and our track record is [music] proven. We have some of the most successful students that have graduated from our e-commerce

[04:25] only few companies that still offer one-to-one mentoring, and we're one of if you're looking for a one-to-one mentor to help you with your drop beginning, finding a winning product, building the store, launching the ads,

[04:40] having an accountability partner, feeling like you have the confidence to "Am I doing it right? Am I doing it wrong? How do I find the little gems about how to do it correctly?" [music] Your mentor will figure that out with

[04:53] you. He will turn you into a drop shipping professional within 30 days. I can guarantee that [music] the mentoring that we offer in our company is the highest quality of education in the industry. Now, I don't want to talk too

[05:06] know a lot of you guys have been asking for it. So, if you want to apply for one-on-one mentorship, there'll be a link in the comment, [music] and you can apply. But, before you apply, guys, only apply if you're serious and

[05:20] you have a good budget. We only want to work with people that have a good mindset and a good budget so it doesn't slow them down through the process. Our been [music] the ones that have the correct mindset, and they have a budget

[05:33] all the available spots for the one-to-one mentoring for Q1 will be fully booked by the end of the next 2 days. So, if you want to make sure that you can join, make sure you apply by scanning the QR code or clicking on link

[05:46] in the description before it's too late and we reopen for the next quarter. So, subscriptions win. This is what we call the MRR model, again, monthly recurring revenue. So, essentially, instead of you getting a purchase one time, so let's

[06:00] store, it's a fan, and then you get paid, with a subscription model, if they subscribe, then they stuck in a minimum 3-month contract, an open contract, but mostly people cancel their contract even if it's in an open contract after 3 to 6

[06:16] months, which means you're going to get paid another three times or even six times or even 12 months if your product is good. So, that's why it is extremely lucrative. One buyer paid $93 once versus $184

[06:30] as a subscriber. First 4 months, steady monthly income, you can outspend on viral ads, you can lose money on order one. So, let's say, for example, this one. So, let's say, for example, this brand here, their most popular option is

[06:43] $50. Now, let's say it cost them 60 or 70 dollars to get an order and somebody on a subscription. Yes, they lose money on the first order, but then on the second month, they're purely in profit. So, here's the beginner trap that I'm

[06:56] trying to get you guys to avoid. At launch, your sale intro price barely covers the product and the ad cost, so month one often breaks even or loses money. You'll see a big revenue number, but little actual profit. The real

[07:10] profit lands on month two, which is what we call the rebill at full price. Don't panic when 1 month looks flat because the model can take between two and three months to become very profitable. Now, this part of the landing page is where

[07:23] it gets really important and you really need to pay attention. So, if we scroll going to see this part where it says, "Start your new ritual." Now, we all know what a ritual means, it's something

[07:35] that you do consistently, and you can see here, "Sells ritual, not product." product, they're trying to sell you a lifestyle. So, they're saying to you that you get the best value with this cuz you get free gifts and you get

[07:48] better value for money because you get more coffee and more products. Usually, when somebody says "best value", that's their best profitable offer. Then, they've got the huge anchor, $57 vs. $115,

[08:01] which is a 50% off. And then, the most important thing is the discount is auto applied till the day, which means you don't need to add a code, which makes even easier for people to buy. Now, the next thing is here is "Supercharge your

[08:14] health with two cups per day." Now, the reason why this is important is because it ties usage to results. Two cups per day for faster results. What does that through it a lot faster, which means you're going to need to rebuy it a lot

[08:27] it twice so that you can buy it a lot sooner. And these two parts of the landing page is what makes subscription MRR supplements so powerful because they put you in a way where they make you use the supplements faster, they price it

[08:42] and bundle it in a way where you think it's crazy value and the health benefit, and then you become addicted to it. So, now what I want to do is break down some of the best-performing ads so you guys understand how you psychologically need

[08:56] to build ads for supplement brands. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to break down a few of the best ads, explain why they're so good, and then give you guys the prompts on how you can remake these ads for your own product.

[09:08] Okay, so here's the first ad. >> I love Ryze, but it's so expensive. Can >> Okay, I'm about [snorts] to blow your mind right now. You literally bumped into this at the perfect time because Ryze is having a sale right now and it's

[09:20] insane. They're giving away all these gifts completely free, not samples, full products. This full-size D'nall Creamer, free. The frothers make your drink extra creamy, free. Acacia jar to store your mushroom coffee, free. And this cute

[09:35] Acacia spoon and scoop, also free. All that plus two full-size mushroom coffee bags. That's literally $100 worth of products you're not paying for and then they're doing 40% off on top of that. So, you're basically getting everything

[09:50] for less than half the price plus $100 worth of free stuff. This only happens once a year, like once a year and last year I actually missed it and paid full price like an idiot. So, to answer your question, yes, they lowered the price.

[10:04] They lowered it so much it doesn't even make sense and it's not going to last >> Now, okay, so that ad was really powerful and they went over a lot of things that made people probably buy it in the end. Number one, the hook is real

[10:17] too expensive, the number one reason why people don't buy it or stay subscribed. Then you can see this is reply to the comment format, native. They reply in the ad, it looks like a reply. Now, the funny thing is a lot of these ads where

[10:31] they look like they're replying to somebody's question, which you can see here, usually these are fake questions. The brand knows these are the common objections, so they do it as a reply video, turn it into an ad, then people

[10:43] think it looks organic and that's what point two is basically saying. Feels you've got something what they call the stack value. You're getting a fever jar, a spoon, coffee bags. She's saying that you get products that are worth $100,

[10:57] then you're getting 40% off as well. So, if the price is $100 and it's then $54, in your mind you're now saying I've made $154 in savings. Then she reframes the price as a no-brainer because of what I just said. Then there's real urgency,

[11:13] once a year. Now, if we take a look at the second ad that they're running, >> for men over 40 takes lines. Like, for two weeks his brain fog may clear, he's sharper during conversations, his memory improves and that afternoon mental drain

[11:26] is caused if he thinks right for two weeks. His stress response may start to feel more balanced. You'll notice less belly bloat. His face looks less puffy in the morning. If he takes cordyceps for 2 weeks, his energy may start coming

[11:39] back. He's not dragging back till 2:00 p.m. letting more if he takes turkey tail for 2 weeks, his digestion may improve. Less bloating after meal. with this ad. It's really, really good. I like this idea. It's completely

[11:52] different and unique. So, they've laser targeted the hook if you're a man over 40, so it instantly calls you out. Benefit stacking one at a time. Each mushroom gets its own clear win, so it breaks down each mushroom in the blend

[12:05] for 2 weeks repetition. Then now here's the problem. So, it's the pivot. Classic problem solution. Differentiation. Not just Havasu 6 organic fruiting bodies right dosage certified gives you real reasons to believe on not empty claims.

[12:20] A lot of people now know supplements have a lot of empty claims. So, if you say that they've been guaranteed or verified, that gives you hope that they're scientifically proven. Then they've got the price refrain. $25 less

[12:32] than a dollar a day. So, it tells you how cheap it is if you break it down daily. And then the one that's probably my favorite from this ad is the AI comic book art. So, this type of ad with the music, the singing, and then the cartoon

[12:44] demonstrating the benefits is an instant hot. Somebody would be addicted to watching it cuz it feels like a video game. So, if you want to remake ads like this for your supplement products, this is how to do it. You should already have

[12:56] In this case, however, I've used a competitive product example. So, for example, guys, I've just used one of their images and this is the image that I used. And then step two is you want to remake this image but change the colors

[13:09] of the packaging and the branding on it. And give me one image with just one thing that you're going to want to do is send it this prompt which is you are a world-class direct response ad strategist for short-form video script

[13:21] writer for a D2C supplement brand. And then it says work in two phases. Phase one, break down and write the script, and then phase two, generate the videos. Now, what you can do is you can connect Higgs Field by going to MCP and CLI, and

[13:36] you can connect it to Claude or GBT using the MCP. So, the agent will tell Higgs Field that has all these assets and all of these tools to work on them instead of you actually generating them yourself. So, for this to work, you do

[13:48] need to connect some form of video generation model or tool. Again, I'm using Higgs Field. So, you need to give it this follow-up prompts. And then once you give it this follow-up prompt, it will then get the AI agent to start

[14:00] telling Higgs Field all the prompts and video clips that you need making. So, it will deliver three different video clips and a few B-roll clips. And then all you've got to do is add them into CapCut, stitch them together, add the

[14:13] captions, and then you can have a final video that looks like the one that I'm going to show you. So, by following those exact steps and using those exact prompts using OpenAI or Claude and connecting Higgs Field. This is the

[14:26] >> Still drinking coffee that wrecks you by 2:00 p.m.? That jittery, crashing, anxious mess? That's not normal. Regular coffee bikes you, then drops you every coffee and everything changed. It's real coffee blended with lion's mane and

[14:42] reishi mushrooms. Half the caffeine, zero crash, and no big kiss of bushes. No 2:00 p.m. slump, no racing heart. My gut feels better, too. Over 10,000

[14:59] five-star reviews say the same thing. >> So, check that ad out. Completely made using AI, and it was really, really good. And I literally made that in less that I want to cover is the Facebook ad strategy. If you're doing supplements,

[15:13] whether it's a brand or a drop shipping store, I do a $50 CBO. I have three ad sets, ad set one, two, and three. This is going to be angle one. This is going to be angle two and angle three. Then in each of these ads, let's say the angle

[15:28] for ad set one is for women that are menopausal. These ads are going to talk it's really important to understand this. Now, if this ad set is about women on the menopause, I might need to make a separate landing page, duplicate the

[15:43] landing page, create a different URL, and run the ads to that landing page. Because if you have a generic landing page that you think fits all, it won't work. People want to see the landing page that speaks to them. Now, if this

[15:55] menopause, I need to then make another landing page, recreate it, add people talk about the menopause, and then talk about how it helps women on the landing page two. Now, let's say I'm

[16:10] that have really bad morning sickness, first trimester's really bad for them, and these ads would have to basically address them. Then the third one could two are about women, I can make the third one about men. And the only thing

[16:24] I'm changing here, guys, is the ad and the landing page. This could be about tired, which most men do. That's what these ads could be talking about. And these ad sets here are all the same, the

[16:36] change would be the gender. This would be male, this would be female, this would be female. But everything else would be the same, broad targeting, let Facebook do the thinking by turning Facebook's suggestions on, and then it's

[16:48] you're changing. And then what you want to do is out of this $50, you want to see which offer, which hook, which angle, which person bites the most. So, after $50, after 3 days, you might see that option two here might be the best

[17:04] option. Because you're getting more ads carts, more purchases, more intent to buy. And then once you found your winning group of people, let's say it's ad set two, you can double down on it. Now, let's move on to picking a winning

[17:16] supplement. As I'm teaching you guys how to redo this, the success of the coffee mushroom brand generating $5 million a month, I want to teach you guys how you can find a winning supplement. Something that is consumable, runs out in 30 days.

[17:30] That way they're forced to have to rebuy it. Gross margin, which is 75% room for BOG, which is basically you doing bundle offers and free gifts. hook, energy, sleep, gut, beauty. Then

[17:44] friendly, so it's easily demoed for viewers. The next one is proven demand plus a fresh untapped angle. Essentially meaning a proven supplement, but you having a fresh way of advertising it. A way that no one else has. For example,

[18:00] these guys are advertising it on the ads based on people that feel bloated, fat, and heavy with no energy in the face. And specifically this ad is for males. Now, an example could be mothers on the menopause that have low energy. That is

[18:14] an example that I could do. Now, here's the prompt that you guys can use to find winning supplements in terms of what supplement is known to be really good, which means that it doesn't have high refunds, chargebacks, complaints. You're

[18:28] selling a supplement that people actually like, and they are staying on them for long months. Again, you don't want to sell a bad supplement. Even if it can be marketed really well, you want to avoid it. The whole point of this is

[18:40] to get people sucked on your subscription and actually like it. The same way these guys have got such a good Trustpilot score, that's the same thing supplier that you're going to use for your supplement brand, whether you're

[18:53] the cheat sheet in the Miro board of all the different drop shipping supplement brands that you can use. So, you can drop ship supplements and you can white yourself, so your logo will be on them. So, I'll leave all the drop shipping

[19:07] Now, one thing you got to bear in mind is if you are going to be drop shipping, you're going to be a little bit restricted to which supplies have which supplements. For example, these coffee mushroom blends, not every supplier is

[19:19] going to have them. They're very unique. Usually what you'll find with supplement drop shipping suppliers, they have things like magnesium, vitamin B12, and call the well-known supplements. You might have to go down the e-commerce

[19:33] version and actually buy bulk from a supplier. Now, another thing that I'd also mention is I would actually avoid China when it comes to supplements. I know a lot of people do use China for supplements, but me personally, I fully

[19:45] avoid it. Now, here's the pros and cons as I'm being completely honest and transparent. Now, here's the cons. 1 month is often break even or loss. Needs cash reserves. You must fund ads now and wait for the rebills to catch up. So,

[19:59] you need to have a good amount of cash flow to keep the pipeline moving. It's expensive first purchase, so acquiring the supplement on Meta isn't cheap. So, competitive, which means the bidding system is expensive, which means getting

[20:14] your customer is more expensive. Churn kills it. A weak product means fast cancellations and the MRR leaks away. So, with supplements and subscription models, there is a lot more law around it and legalities around it. So, you

[20:26] compliant. And then obviously, your supplement needs to be legally able to selling it in. But it still means you need to do a very clear allergy warning

[20:38] on your website. Basically, there's more reasons to get into trouble, especially if you're not smart and you're being naive about the work. I'm also going to how to drop ship supplements. I go over the best drop shipping supplies, how to

[20:52] make the page, how to make the images. So, I'll also leave that link in the description. But in this video, I wanted to show you guys and expose the MRR subscription supplement drop shipping brands and stores to show you how much

[21:04] the right way. Some are doing it the wrong way. I hope you guys do it the correct way, the ethical way, and make crazy money from this opportunity. So, don't forget to smash the like button so we can hit the like goal. You get access

[21:18] to the smart robot with all the prompts and cheat sheets involved. And by liking So, with that being said, guys, I'll check you on the next video.
