US Forces Age Verification on Entire Internet
45sThe shocking claim that the US is about to force age verification on the entire internet creates immediate urgency and fear of privacy loss.
βΆ Play ClipThe video warns that a bill (KOSA) being voted on in the U.S. House could force age verification, biometric scans, and digital ID on all internet users. The speaker argues this would end online anonymity and privacy, citing similar laws in the UK and EU that led to data breaches and faulty AI moderation. He urges viewers to contact their representatives immediately.
A package of bills including KOSA is being voted on today with bipartisan support.
KOSA would force every platform to verify users' ages, with fines for non-compliance.
Similar laws in UK and EU have led to ID scanning, data breaches, and faulty AI moderation.
Platforms may use faulty AI to estimate age, causing false flags and account locks until ID is provided.
Users would need ID to access basic sites like Wikipedia, Google, and YouTube.
The bill is packaged under a pro-child safety name to make opposition look bad.
The only recommended action is to contact your representative before the vote.
"The title accurately reflects the bill's intent but overstates its current enactment; the vote is ongoing and not yet law."
What does KOSA stand for?
Kids Online Safety Act
1:42
What is the bipartisan support mentioned?
Both Democrats and Republicans support the package.
1:25
Which regions have passed similar laws that led to ID scanning?
UK and EU online safety acts.
2:20
What are the main risks of KOSA according to the speaker?
Data breaches, faulty AI moderation, loss of anonymity, and increased surveillance.
2:34
What action does the speaker recommend to stop the bill?
Contact your representative.
9:02
What specific provisions are buried inside the Kids Act?
It would require every platform to verify users' ages, potentially via biometric scans or government IDs.
3:40
What is the 'faulty estimation technology' mentioned?
Faulty AI estimation technology that can randomly trigger account locks or deletions until an ID is provided.
4:36
Bipartisan Support
Indicates broad political agreement on age verification, making opposition difficult.
1:25Precedent from UK/EU
Similar laws have already led to ID scanning and data breaches, providing real-world evidence of risks.
2:20Loss of Anonymity
Highlights the fundamental shift from anonymous internet to a fully identified online experience.
6:27Packaging to Discourage Opposition
The bill is named 'Kids Act' to make opposition appear anti-child safety, a strategic political move.
9:51[00:00] Today could mark the end of the internet
[00:02] as we know it. The United States just
[00:04] snuck a bill under everybody's noses to
[00:06] basically force age verification,
[00:08] biometric scan, and digital ID on every
[00:11] single aspect of the internet. And so,
[00:13] if this passes today, it's it's GG. And
[00:17] I don't normally ask this, but I'm
[00:18] asking all of you right now to please
[00:20] leave a like on this video and please
[00:21] comment and just share this video
[00:22] around. More people need to be aware of
[00:24] this situation because today is a make
[00:26] it or break it for the internet.
[00:28] Depending on how the voting goes in the
[00:30] house today will determine if the
[00:32] internet basically comes to an end. And
[00:34] so there is ways to potentially fight
[00:36] back against this today. You could call
[00:37] your representative which I will talk
[00:39] more about in this video. But for now,
[00:41] please help share this video around for
[00:43] people are aware of this situation. This
[00:46] is actually happening. The entirety of
[00:48] the United States is about to force in
[00:51] age verification today. I'm not even
[00:54] joking. I just became aware of this late
[00:57] last night and a bunch of people are
[00:59] becoming aware of this as well. You can
[01:01] see a lot of people slowly starting to
[01:03] recognize and kind of key in on what is
[01:05] going on here. It is um not good. You
[01:07] have even politicians from Japan talking
[01:09] about this situation. So, let's just
[01:11] let's dive head first into this. So
[01:13] basically there is a package of multiple
[01:15] different bills and laws and stuff that
[01:17] are passing through the House right now.
[01:20] And basically there is going to be a a
[01:22] vote to be able to pass this. And the
[01:25] bills within this package is being
[01:27] supported bipartisan support so to
[01:29] speak. This right here which basically
[01:31] means that both political sides,
[01:33] Democrats and also Republicans are both
[01:36] in agreeance with passing this package
[01:39] of different laws. And um this in one
[01:42] law in particular that is raising a lot
[01:44] of eyebrows is the one that is basically
[01:46] KOSA, the kids online safety act that
[01:49] will force age verification on to every
[01:52] single person within the United States.
[01:54] And basically to get into specifics, it
[01:57] will force every single platform to make
[01:59] sure and reassure that they know you're
[02:01] of age and of an adult. For instance, if
[02:04] a platform doesn't know you're an adult,
[02:05] they could theoretically get fined and
[02:07] get into a lot of trouble. So, they're
[02:09] being forced to implement some form of
[02:11] safety rails or guards to prevent, you
[02:13] know, basically young users being able
[02:15] to get on. In a perfect world, this
[02:17] sounds completely okay. But the thing
[02:19] here is is that we have seen time and
[02:20] time again with the laws within like the
[02:22] UK and the EU that these online safety
[02:25] acts, the digital, you know, IDs,
[02:27] biometric scans, and everything does the
[02:29] exact opposite of protecting people or
[02:32] even protecting kids. It puts everybody
[02:34] in danger. It puts your personal
[02:35] information out there and it basically
[02:37] makes it to where everybody's at risk
[02:39] for potential data breaches or, you
[02:41] know, just getting doxed in general.
[02:42] It's just it's not good at all. And so
[02:45] the point here is is that this law is
[02:47] being pushed through the door under
[02:49] everybody's noses pretty much. It's just
[02:50] snuck under everybody's radar for the
[02:52] most part. And now it's at that point to
[02:55] where there's not really much you can
[02:56] really do but hope that there's people
[02:57] on the uh the voting that do notice this
[03:00] and actually deny it. But this is
[03:02] literally happening today on the 29th.
[03:05] Like today is Monday the 29th in the
[03:08] United States right now and this is
[03:10] getting voted on. This is this is bad.
[03:14] Like this is really really really really
[03:16] really
[03:17] freaking bad. Like this is basically the
[03:20] moment of is it over? Is the internet
[03:24] dead? That that is pretty much what this
[03:27] is. So, let's get into specifically what
[03:31] is being said here. So, we have little
[03:33] over 24 hours to save the internet. The
[03:35] vote is being rushed to the United
[03:37] States House floor on Monday the 29th.
[03:40] Buried inside the Kids Act are
[03:42] provisions that will push online
[03:43] services to verify all users ages
[03:47] require government directed moderation
[03:49] policies for online speech and even
[03:51] create new rules about private and
[03:52] encrypted communications. The bill has
[03:55] bipartisan support in large corporate
[03:56] donors who have all a vested interest in
[03:59] eroding your privacy and freedom of
[04:01] speech. Similar bills have already
[04:02] passed in other countries for instance
[04:04] UK and you know Europe and individual
[04:06] states and led to ID scanning mandates
[04:08] aka what's going on for instance with
[04:10] like Pornhub you know how you can't
[04:11] access it without basically IDing
[04:13] yourself more or less this will become
[04:15] the entirety across the entire like the
[04:17] whole internet like you'll have to ID
[04:19] yourself just to access the freaking
[04:21] internet and this will be from my
[04:23] understanding countrywide it won't just
[04:25] be a specific state it will be basically
[04:27] countrywide anyways faulty AI moderation
[04:30] the removal of encrypted messages ages,
[04:31] etc. If passed, some platforms will
[04:33] require ID scans from all users. Some
[04:36] may try to deploy faulty estimation
[04:38] technology that will randomly trigger
[04:40] and cause your accounts to either
[04:42] permanently delete or locked until you
[04:44] fork over an ID. These systems have been
[04:46] a disaster where deployed in other
[04:48] regions, it led to many accounts losses
[04:50] and data breaches. So, more or less
[04:52] what's being said here is that um all
[04:54] these platforms will implement some form
[04:56] of like AI system to determine if you're
[04:58] an adult or not. And obviously we know
[05:00] that these systems are very poorly
[05:01] managed and they basically mess up all
[05:04] the time. And so there's going to be
[05:05] thousands, millions potentially of
[05:07] people that are going to get falsely
[05:09] flagged and they're going to have to put
[05:10] their ID up to be able to identify
[05:13] themselves as an actual adult. And
[05:15] basically what this means is is that
[05:16] yeah, you proven you're an adult, but
[05:18] now your information and where you live,
[05:20] your driver's license and everything or
[05:21] whatever you use to verify yourself is
[05:23] now on that site and you're trusting
[05:24] this random website with your personal
[05:27] information. I know I wouldn't, but
[05:29] that's basically what's going to happen.
[05:31] You want to access Wikipedia? Well, you
[05:33] need an ID for that. Oh, you want to
[05:34] access Google? You're going to need an
[05:36] ID for that. You don't want to watch a
[05:37] YouTube video to be able to save your
[05:38] grandma that's having some problems. You
[05:40] know, basically can't breathe and you
[05:41] got to figure out CPR. Well, you need ID
[05:44] for that. That's basically what's going
[05:46] to happen here is that you're going to
[05:47] need an ID just to be able to access the
[05:50] internet at any given moment to
[05:52] determine your age. It is This is
[05:54] disastrous. not just for the internet
[05:56] but for privacy itself. And this is the
[05:59] the domino effect that I have literally
[06:03] been talking about over and over and
[06:05] over again. This is that Shimonetta 1984
[06:11] reality that we have entered into. If
[06:14] this passes today, this this could be
[06:18] I'm not even joking the end of the
[06:21] internet as we know it. This is
[06:23] literally creeping towards that
[06:24] dystopian like f uh future where you're
[06:27] no longer anonymous. You no longer could
[06:29] be, you know, a different person online.
[06:31] You could just be anonymous and just do
[06:32] whatever you want. You will now have a
[06:35] face attached to everything you do
[06:36] online. This is absolutely scary cuz
[06:39] it's a complete invasion of privacy. And
[06:42] the big thing that these companies want
[06:43] to do for you or why they would want
[06:45] your information is to be able to sell
[06:47] your data, but also be able to target
[06:49] you with certain ads and make profit off
[06:52] of you. Because let's just be blunt, we
[06:54] all know this. If you have been on the
[06:55] internet, you know that if you know
[06:57] certain websites track you and know what
[06:59] you're into, they will start throwing
[07:00] certain ads at you that you know you
[07:02] might be interested in. They figure out
[07:04] everything about you to be very
[07:05] predatory to basically target you with
[07:08] certain ads or marketing. and they're
[07:10] going to go to an extreme level with
[07:11] this, especially if they know exactly
[07:13] where you live, your full name, your
[07:15] age, and everything. It's going to get a
[07:17] lot worse. And then that's not
[07:18] including, for instance, data breaches
[07:20] and selling your data to third party uh
[07:22] companies or even countries at that.
[07:25] It's not good. So, yeah, everything
[07:27] about this is just bad freaking news.
[07:30] And the scariest part about this is that
[07:32] this is bipartisan. I want to reiterate
[07:35] this. This means that it's a both sides
[07:38] problem. This means it is Democrats and
[07:40] Republicans both coming together and
[07:42] being like, "This is good." And when you
[07:44] have two political parties that are
[07:46] always at each other's throats wanting
[07:48] to basically completely topple the
[07:50] other, coming together to agree on
[07:52] something, you know, this ain't good.
[07:54] And I've been talking about this over
[07:56] and over again that both sides want to
[07:58] censor the internet. Both sides want to
[08:00] kind of usher in complete surveillance
[08:02] and knowing what you're doing at any
[08:03] given time because it means that they
[08:05] will be able to control the narrative,
[08:07] be able to censor you and know what
[08:09] you're doing. I mean, we've already seen
[08:11] the dangers that this causes within the
[08:13] UK, within Europe. I mean, we've all
[08:16] seen it. We know what's going on in
[08:17] Europe. For instance, if you want to
[08:19] talk about illegal immigration, for
[08:20] instance, in Europe or UK, they will
[08:22] send police at your house or potentially
[08:24] censor you. You'll get a fine or
[08:25] whatever. they're more concerned about
[08:27] that than actually fixing real issues
[08:29] or, you know, addressing things to try
[08:31] to fix things. And that's what's going
[08:32] to happen here. And so, I think that
[08:34] this is a massive attack on freedom of
[08:37] expression, free speech, and also just
[08:40] your privacy itself. This is horrible.
[08:43] And this crazy thing about this is that
[08:46] this legitimately was slid under
[08:50] everybody's noses. And not many people
[08:52] have become aware of this until
[08:53] literally today. That's insane. Like
[08:56] that that's so freaking insane to me. So
[08:59] yeah, I honestly guys, the only thing
[09:02] you can really do at this moment is what
[09:04] uh Earl Maner actually posted here is to
[09:07] contact your representative on all that
[09:09] right here, which I will I will link
[09:11] this in the description. Please contact
[09:13] your representative for your state to
[09:15] basically not allow this to happen. It's
[09:18] honestly the only way to be able to stop
[09:20] this. But it it's so late. For instance,
[09:24] it's it's literally today. I don't even
[09:26] know if it would work. In the time you
[09:27] guys see this video, maybe the votes
[09:28] have already happened and it's already
[09:30] passed. Maybe it got denied. Hopefully,
[09:31] it did. But yeah, I'm just I'm sounding
[09:34] alarm here because this is a red flag.
[09:37] This is basically everything the buildup
[09:40] from like last year with Kids Online
[09:42] Safety Act and everything that has been
[09:45] built up to this very moment. And it's
[09:47] [snorts] finally here. It is finally
[09:49] here. and it's packaged in so many
[09:51] different bills to make it look like if
[09:53] you try to shoot this down, you seem to
[09:55] not care for kids safety. That's what
[09:58] they're doing here. Because I I want to
[10:00] really showcase the maliciousness of how
[10:02] it's just very disingenuous. They're
[10:04] naming this, for instance, the kids act
[10:05] and all that. They're like burying it in
[10:07] a title like that. So basically, it
[10:10] looks really bad if you're against this.
[10:12] If you're against this type of stuff,
[10:14] you legit don't want to protect kids.
[10:16] That that's what this looks like. And it
[10:18] shuts down any counterargument or any
[10:20] disscent or any politicians that want to
[10:22] speak out about this. It makes them look
[10:23] bad optically. It makes them look bad.
[10:25] And so it's going to make it to where
[10:27] they're going to lean heavily on just
[10:28] supporting it not to look bad optically
[10:30] cuz let's be honest, it's all about
[10:32] optics. That's what people view things
[10:34] as. And so optically they're going to
[10:36] vote for this because they don't want to
[10:37] be viewed like someone that doesn't care
[10:39] about kids. So yeah, just oh my oh my
[10:43] god. Like I I really hope there's some
[10:46] sensible people at the House today in
[10:48] the United States when they vote they
[10:51] shut this down. Please
[10:53] please don't let this pass. Please don't
[10:57] let this pass. I really really really
[10:59] really really really
[11:01] hope that this does not pass and that we
[11:05] find out like later today this gets shot
[11:08] down. Please, please, please, please,
[11:10] please. I will leave it at that though.
[11:13] I wanted to bring this up because this
[11:14] is uh
[11:16] yeah um if we find out today if this
[11:18] passes or not, I will make a follow-up
[11:22] video. So stay tuned to that. But uh
[11:24] with that being said, please subscribe,
[11:26] leave a like on the video, help spread
[11:28] this and all that because more people
[11:29] need to be aware of what's going on
[11:30] today. But be safe, guys. Talk to you
[11:33] later. She be outs.
