[00:31] their first episode accordingly. This is The Villainess is Adored by the Prince of the Neighbor Kingdom, a series that I hope, I desperately hope, is only leaning on the established narrative tropes for the introduction
[00:43] of this series and then plans to diverge from the norm beyond this point. Because after getting her engagement so publicly broken off, the prince of the nearby nation immediately sees what is going on sees his chance and swoops in to not only take the hand of the woman he apparently been pining over for years but also to embarrass the local prince and his new fianc in one fell swoop I would be impressed if I hadn actually seen all of this before
[01:08] Actually, no, I am impressed because usually such humiliation happens far later, once everybody realizes what a mistake the prince has made, and the fact that we got all of that out of the way in episode one is actually quite efficient.
[01:20] So now our local prince has banished our villainess for her alleged crimes against his new fiance, and she needs a new place to live. Fancy that the neighboring prince is offering her his hand.
[01:32] So here's my thing. I've been a sucker for these stories, even if it's like called a villainous story with a protagonist who acts not villainous like at all. I've watched basically every single show that has started out this way to completion.
[01:45] As such, you should not take my very high likelihood of watching this series all the way to the end as a judge of its actual value. That said, we're actually going to start this one off in B tier and raise it if it becomes a unique entry into the genre, but also lower it
