[00:24] Apparently, according to Alex Perez, there are three count three mystery characters. in Avengers: Secret Wars, new characters who we haven't seen they might be, and we're gonna talk about the fact that he's also saying

[00:38] apparently the devil himself, Mr. Sasha Baron Cohen's Mesto, is going to appear in Ghost Rider. And the rumor, and I don't know if this is true or not, but whether or not you think it's a good idea, that Daphne Keane's X-23 is going

[06:45] heroes. [snorts] >> The most famous Latian witch was Doom's lot of sense. I hadn't heard this theory yet that he would base his attire off of his mom who taught him how to do magic, which again, it does create a parallel

[07:00] with Loki who learned magic from his mom. And I like the idea that a sil that in the middle. Um my >> and Doom might have and Doom might have been raised by witches boy to quote uh Thor and Loki's mother. Yeah.

[08:21] the power to save her at the end, but instead he he could have like lied to your daughter back." Uh, but had he Well, no, I guess not because actually Jane wasn't sacrificed, but she did. >> Which one's Gamora?

[09:02] playing Tony Stark, but playing Victor von Doom, maybe they have entirely faces, which sounds insanely confusing to me, but we're already past the Rubicott on that. So, who knows? The I kind of agree with Colton though that

[09:16] >> just like the Black Order was like here comes the Black Order and they're kind of nothing in the movies. They're just there to sort of kill time until we get to Thanos. It sort of feels the same way to me, but conversely,

[09:30] like I said this here on the show before, but it's such a wasted opportunity if you're the sum total of your imagination about the multiverse is. What if we had an X-Men Earth uh Fantastic 4 Earth than an MCU Earth,

[09:45] infinite multiverse and coming up with like >> here's an alternate version of Agatha, here's an alternate version of Sylvie, or maybe these are characters we know who have traveled the multiverse or

[09:57] who have traveled the multiverse or anything like it's just it's a wasted opportunity to not have that in the movie in some way. I thought prior to Infinity War, like just before the first trailer, I because

[10:09] I don't think I'd read the initially the comic the Black Order appears in. I thought that Thanos would use the Infinity Gauntlet to bring back the villains from past movies, you know? I because I was just going off the the

[10:21] in the comics. So, I thought, "Oh, cool. He'll bring back Iron Monger and Red Skull and maybe we'll get like a Masters of Evil kind of thing." I think if they did this, if they had these characters wearing a mask and they're just some

[10:34] lady from Latvia, it's going to disappoint people. I will say though that like as soon as we see the powers of these people, the energy manifest, I will, but I'll be in the audience going that's gonna be Wanda. That's

[10:49] >> But I don't think it's Wanda. Go ahead. >> Yeah. Would I don't know that one doing this that seems very Wanda. >> Yeah, I agree. like feeling herself, you know, feeling the Scarlet Witch. Like I I don't know. There's something about

[11:16] hermit, like she said, "I am destructive. I can't be near anyone." Or she's lost her memory. I would prefer it if she is self-imposed exile. I think that would make the most sense if like maybe she can't kill herself because the

[11:29] power of Cathone won't let her. And as we theorized, Colton, you know, you did the champions coming together initially in Secret Wars and looking for her and giving ultimately being about Wanda

[11:42] love that idea. You just said who I hope it is, though. I hope the person on the it is, though. I hope the person on the left is Fky Jensen's Dark Phoenix. If Fky Jensen would have been in this movie from the start, right? Like if she would

[11:55] have been Hi, Maxi. There's Max. That's a good boy. If she would have been then automatically it does two things. It overshadows Sades thinks Jean Gray and it makes us think, well, [ __ ] when she be going to become the Dark Phoenix,

[12:09] like Jean Gray in a movie these days. It's just like a countdown to when her power unfolds. I love the idea of because in her timeline, she was fine. Like the last time Logan saw her, if we're saying the Logan timeline is a

[12:23] different timeline, so she had yet to turn into Phoenix and unlock in this powers were like locked in her brain. I love the idea that Doom unlocked it and What do you guys think? >> I love that.

[12:35] >> I like the idea, which I hadn't really thought about before, that maybe each of the Ladvari witches are from one of the three worlds that we're dealing with here. So if we have FA Jansen from the X-Men Earth, we have somebody from the

[12:47] Fantastic Four Earth, though there's not a lot of people there. a lot of people there. >> Natasha Leon. [laughter] the last one is from the MCU Earth, whoever that is. I mean, that that could

[13:46] handled it. Like they were just there to be there like, "Hey, look, it's it's be there like, "Hey, look, it's it's them, but it's not them." Haha. I don't know. It I I kind of personally prefer if and are we going to talk about the

[13:59] the other one in the mask as well? >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. that character when we get there as well as these other characters, the witches. I would kind like if it is Wanda, I want it to be our Wanda and I I don't want it or at least

[14:12] the 838 Wanda that we met who also kind of got set on a path of perhaps, you know, being like, "Oh my god, this multiverse thing is dangerous. Look what them to be like brand new characters. If it's Clea, I I want it to just be Clea.

[14:27] Not not that we've really spent any time with Clea really, but I wanted to be the one that came and recruited Doctor Strange. I want her to have like been characters that we've kind of already followed. So, like it it has that impact

[14:41] when they take the mask off if they go that route. So, that's kind of what I'm I'll I'll save the rest of that for when we get to the the next. I don't want to show this for very long. This one is definitely a big leak. So,

[14:56] this is another one where golly, look at that guy. It's either bullseye or that's that guy. It's either bullseye or that's a hole for Doctor Strange's third eye. THAT WAS TAKEN. >> THIS IS SO ANNOYING.

[15:49] the mid-credit scene where he casually opens the third eye and goes off with opens the third eye and goes off with Clea, but I do think that like to your if they just make them random people, I think

[16:02] is a great way to incorporate Loki and whoever else. >> What do you guys think? Are we wrong possibly be? >> No, it and it has Okay, maybe it's

[16:15] Bullseye. No, it has to be our strange. Like if it's a variant Strange, I I am going to be upset if it's just like some other random str We've seen so many variants of Doctor Strange even in just Multiverse of Madness and then you have

[16:29] I don't want him to have been like corrupted by Doom or you know he's possessed by the dark. No, I want him to just genuinely think that he's doing the right thing. Same thing with Wanda. I I I know in the comics she like loses her

[16:42] memory and all that. I I don't want that. We've already done the, you know, her having the heel turn, face turn, whatever. Oh, I I was corrupted by this. Oh, what? No, I just want her to gen I I want all the people, including Doom, to

[16:56] genuinely like believe in their cause, believe in their mission, think they're hoping. >> Sy's the only one where I'm like, I don't know why Sylvie would do that. That's pretty antithetical to what she

[17:08] >> I think because Doom may approach her and say, hey, you bought us time. Loki bought us time, but this thing is still on a a path to absolute destruction.

[17:20] Here's your opportunity to one, you can see Loki again. And two, I I can I see a don't know. >> And not mentioning he probably killed Loki, but also uh she watched a reality crumble around her once before. And

[17:34] suffered more trauma because what drove her in season one of Loki was suffering destroyed. Sorry, Tommy. Go ahead. No, I was just going to say I like I mean I the people through the first threequarters of this movie are going to

[17:49] Right. Doom will always think he's in the right, but the people following him might eventually be like, "Oh, what he thinks is right isn't necessarily what we think is right." So I I could imagine people Oh, the watcher and Watu will

[18:02] always watch. But I think uh because he's a pervert like that. He's nasty. >> yeah, we keep a chair in the bedroom called Diwatu. I Yes, it's a special chair in every hotel room for the watch you to just watch. But, uh, it gets

[18:16] distracting on my honeymoon. It was a real nightmare. I think >> the, uh, what was I? I lost my train of thought. Oh, yeah. I want these people to be heroes that we know that think that they're helping this man who's the

[18:29] ultimately realize it's Doctor D. All he really wants is to control and dominate everyone. So that's my my hope is our Doctor Strange and our Sylvie and all Wanda and that they eventually have to

[18:42] >> Doctor Strange has turned villain in pretty much every universe that we've whole point of Multiverse of Madness, that his need for control and not being ruins reality. >> And I think here's one that the I don't

[18:57] think we talked about this, the yellow orange whatever witch. think, oh, maybe not because it's a little bit more like flamboyant. But the ancient one, >> I could totally see Tilda Swinton coming

[19:12] back in. I mean, she was involved. She's in ingame. be an in-game encore that's, you know, setting up Doomsday. They're going to deleted scenes. She's a She's been the Sorcerer Supreme. Doctor Strange is

[19:27] probably the Sorcerer Supreme in their universe. Uh, I'm sorry, Dr. Doom is probably the sorcerer supreme in their universe and then now he's got Strange could be there as well. [snorts] >> Uh I'll throw two things out there. One,

[19:41] from the comics in the Secret Wars comic, Dr. Strange is Dr. Doo's lieutenant to odd battle world. >> So this strange, right? correctly, I don't know if they unlock his memories. I think he knows, if I

[19:55] remember correctly, it's revealed towards the end that like he knows "No, we got to this is the only way of saving the multiverse and eventually they do turn him against Doom." He's not exactly on Doom's side, but he is on the

[20:09] multiverse they have left. So, I can see that. The other very boring reason I think this is characters we know just as we're talking about it is a production reason which is you have masked characters throughout there so that

[20:24] Benedict Cumberbatch and Tilda Swinton and everybody else don't have to be on set the entire time. You could bring them in either digitally or for one quick insert scene right at the end and that's pretty much it.

[20:36] There's a rumor now that Jennifer Kale, played by Sasher Zameda, is going to be in Ghost Rider. And I wonder, you know, she's the only witch that survived from the coven and Agatha along. I wonder if she could be one of these people, too.

[21:02] you want the whole audience to be like oh man it's that person who I instantly recognize versus nothing who's awesome like I love the character. along which did well but wasn't even necessarily the level of like Loki where

[21:17] people would potentially be like oh that person oh right that's Sylvia I kind of remember that. So, I do think it needs to be those top tier characters if there is a reveal because doing something >> some deep cut character is just not

[21:31] is a reveal moment. >> And and I think you're you're right on it there because that's that's what they showed when they announced Downey is as Doom. They they had him take the stage which with a bunch of other masked

[21:44] cloaked people >> pulls the mask off. I I think they they end. I think that's still how the movie's going to end. Us getting >> reveals the Russos were laying clues and telling stories. They're definitely

[23:20] won. He rules Battle World, probably the void, and none of the heroes remember the life before. They only know God, Emperor Doom. Uh, but Alex Perez seems resistance group of Avengers. Just like in the comics, there is the leaders, the

[23:36] newbies, the younger heroes. And this is where I think the champions might come into it. And there's also, he says, never before seen characters. group of allies is going to be divided

[23:50] stories. Basically, I hate to say this, exact template of Infinity War and Endgame. But there's nothing wrong with that because those movies copy the template set by comic books. So, the

[24:03] question I have for you guys is who could these three never before seen in the movies presumably characters be? Are we going to get uh Rick Jones? >> I mean, it's like when people copy our Easter eggs, it it turns out well. Uh so

[24:18] I I see no issue with them like duplicating uh the the plan or the interview where they were asked about this? how um

[24:30] >> Doomsday and Secret Wars are connecting and like they they're talking about how oh it's a new beginning but yes we're also looking at that how it's a next step and the the connection between it all and like how Doomsday is like lead

[24:44] straight into it. So I I do think that Doomsday as well is going to be adopting 2015 Secret Wars as well as well as the >> I mean look if the movie ends with Dr. Doom defeated then what the hell happens in Secret Wars? Like it's it's one of

[24:57] >> I think a lot of audiences who don't know the comics were genuinely surprised by Infinity War. But I mean Alex, you know what it was like. We're there the >> Oh yeah.

[36:47] Supergirl, but Supergirl's Earth 2 counterpart, Power Girl, was still around. So, they had to like reinvent a new origin for her where she didn't remember her past and they like pieced it together. That makes sense. I love

[36:59] But, I think if she's a clone to Wolverine, Wolverine needs to have been around since like World War II. That's where you lost me. I don't want this brother. They're the same crap. >> Um, and the other problem is if she
