[03:48] visit a website, your browser quietly broadcasts a set of signals. What fonts are installed on your computer, your screen resolution, how your graphics card renders a small test image, what is stored locally in your browser.

[04:02] Combined, these signals create a profile that's unique to your specific device and browser setup. Like a fingerprint at the crime scene, every device leaves one and they are distinct. Here is why this matters for you. When your Craigslist

[04:17] account gets suspended, Craigslist doesn't just blacklist your email. It blacklist that fingerprint. So, if you open a new email, create a fresh account, and log in from the same browser on the same computer, Craigslist

[04:30] system sees the exact same fingerprint. The new account gets linked to the suspended one and it either gets banned immediately or starts ghost banning your post within days. So, if your account gets suspended and you are thinking of
