World's Tallest Elephant Toothpaste Volcano

[00:00] trying to answer one of life's most basic questions. actually be launched into space? Last year, my buddy Fletcher and I

[00:14] but with one critical oversight. because I just didn't consider the forces to be so high and so, while that attempt

[00:26] I couldn't stop thinking about just how high that came out of the bottom was actually forced designing and building something that weighed five tons

[00:41] And then what if we could just go on by building a massive slip and slide skateboard ramp, plus a devil's toothpaste explosion

[00:53] Then, the only thing that would be missing and that's where my new friend Brody comes in. is that as him and his family were going through

[01:06] as he narrowly fought through his battle Brody used his one and only Make-A-Wish chance He didn't even know

[01:20] By the way, I told my friend, Mr. Beast, So now that we had a plan for the deserved the world's most epic surprise party,

[01:33] in the small town of Gridley, California and get to work. for single-handedly digging out in the entire Orbeez pit the good people of Gridley came out to help in droves.

[01:47] volunteered to dig the Orbeez pool, started working on the skateboard ramp. Although, it sort of backfired

[02:01] harsh working conditions. the giant elephants toothpaste flask. And so for the base, we laid a concrete pad

[02:13] with a total clamping force of 80 tons. the plan was to use five tons On top of that, we designed the flask to be 20% bigger.

[02:29] build montage to get it all done. (upbeat music)

[02:50] for several days in the 105 degree heat, floating around on the internet. There are some wildly popular videos on YouTube,

[03:02] which demonstrate that when you simply add a bunch of soda and pour it over the top, you get this, Why didn't Mark Rober tell us that?

[03:18] - Now I had a slightly different hypothesis and lying to people for YouTube views. Science Bob and I tested that hypothesis.

[03:31] then combine the mixtures and run real fast, well then you're gonna have to explain how at the edge of the hole.

[03:46] and how the hole itself completely changes shape once they've removed their layer mask. elephant toothpaste is always made.

[04:00] soap and food coloring. And in preparation for this year's party with, at times,

[04:16] very interesting results. and this is devil's toothpaste. because it's super dangerous, even if you are, for example

[04:31] with Brody's arrival slated for the next morning, as the feverish pace of work If this dang mega flash somehow bested me again

[04:45] And so when morning came with only a few last minute bits about an hour and a half away where Brody thought he flew for a day filled with medical tests.

[05:15] to look at, tests this actually isn't a doctor appointment at all. as soon as he heard my terrible doctor accent.

[05:31] This is Fletcher. Fletcher here, So today we're gonna do another party and it's gonna be fun.

[06:40] Remember guys, act like we've done this before. but a generous benefactor caught wind which actually helped because it cut the one

[06:53] - So guys, we just landed. - I knew it was a limo.

[07:07] - We live in luxury! in a sweet ride, Brody had arrived. (group cheering)

[08:16] and we were feeling refreshed, in the form of six massive devil's toothpaste troughs. The first is that because each trough holds two and a half

[08:30] we couldn't just dump it on the top even make it to the bottom before it was launched out. of the hydrogen peroxide, soap, and food coloring

[08:42] that contains the catalyst. So when you open this butterfly valve, the air would rush over and causing everything to mix really well.

[08:55] And as you can see in real life, this happens pretty fast. of the troughs already kind of went off. And the truth is, when I walked up, things looked like this.

[09:08] but one thing we didn't think to test was if the only to the purple color. all on its own.

[09:21] through even if we did lose two - Here we go. Here we go. Here we go. (exclamations and cheers)

[10:32] Yes. Oh my goodness. Go get the cameras. - What'd you guys think?

[10:45] - And so while I helped clean up like a bonafide ghostbuster Like last year, the idea was to start the reaction into the hydrogen peroxide pool below.

[10:58] splashed out prematurely, we'd have on our hands than with the purple food coloring. So we distracted him with a different surprise first

[11:11] in the form of some quality time in 26 million Orbeez (upbeat music)

[12:07] because it's like having a squishy around you no matter where you move. for a few more hours, soon enough, we got the message

[12:20] So we all headed back over. So quite a crowded gathered, including the mayor of Gridley. that L from last year and to get Brody a dang world record.

[12:35] - Look at this. was to place all our hopes and dreams - 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

[12:53] (screaming and cheering)

[13:41] and it turns out the force out the top is about 50 times the force you feel when pushing against a fully inflated football.

[14:03] - Oh my God, yes.

[14:17] - Wow. Oh, look at that. Whoa. See, it's still like barfing out the top. - Is that better than going to the doctor's office?

[14:31] Wow. The flask stayed together. You don't get me twice. of the max height from last year to this year,

[14:47] the previous record by nearly a factor of five, rising to the height of a 25 story building at 250 feet. I still had one grand final surprise for Brody.

[15:03] with liquid nitrogen powered exploding watermelons and trash can rockets nearly taking I called up a friend of mine.

[15:18] - Hi, what up MrBeast? This is my friend Brody. Did he do the Orbeez thing? - Yeah. Is that more Orbeez than you did?

[15:32] I think MrBeast has one more surprise. - Oh my God, that's your hog right there.

[15:44] Delivered by none other then Dale himself. It's not mine, it's yours. he wanted to get for himself

[15:57] And he didn't do that expecting to get something back to put this party together for him Which is why I believe when you try to be a good person
