[Music] Hilda and I both grew up outside the city her in the country and me in the mountains so a year ago we sold our house near downtown and [Music] our new place is four and a half acres which gives us plenty of room for animals we're working projects and we actually even have a guest house that we can read on Airbnb we've got a couple dozen chickens six goats over habit and even bees there's been
a lot of time the first summer remodeling the five-minute square-foot guest house into an Airbnb it started with new floors kitchen countertops up and then grew into a door to turn them into one bedroom instead of a studio we need more furniture and then this awesomer the full bathroom remodel alright today's project is getting the cabinets back in I totally ran out of time on countertops and everything else I'll fly to Portland tomorrow and family's coming
to move in here on Monday and I get back this is into video so what at Lowe's two different Lowe's drawers and bought this put your block countertop Baltic birch which is a nice a nice wood that's and I'm gonna install this and we'll see how it goes [Music] a little more work to do there's some back splashes on me but it's been pretty fun to rent it out on Airbnb it generates about 1,500 a month
in revenue and it's just been a great experience this last summer we spent more time on the fields and so we did a huge irrigation project to add sprinklers to the back three acres so we just got the goats out in the fields for the first time after getting our irrigation and sprinklers working so it's all nice and green and now that goats [Music] you go you go tea glass yeah do you see them eating all
this grass do you think they like it no I need like a big cup a big tub of grass no like a big tub well for to put across Oh there you go as you wander the property you'll find raspberries grapes a full garden a small orchard and that's just what was already there on the property and I really think this is going to be a special place for the kids to grow up even after just
a year they really love it oh there you are you'll love it through all the different seasons and I couldn't imagine living anywhere else [Music]
