[00:00] October is here and so is a new lineup of AAA titles, long awaited franchise revivals and cutting edge hardware you don't want to miss. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 is getting a steelbook edition, Gears of War E-Day has

[00:12] some pre-order perks and there's a new retro handheld with a library of physical game cartridges. So stick around and I'll do my best to get you the most bang for your buck on this month's gaming purchases. And make sure you stay to the end because I've got a heads up on a legendary pre-order

[00:27] that Zelda fans will not want to miss. Here are 5 new games and consoles available at Best Buy this October. Presented by Best Buy Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 releases on October 23rd and there's a special steelbook

[00:42] edition available at Best Buy. Modern Warfare 4's campaign takes players across the globe. This time around you'll be dropped into trench warfare in Korea, close quarters combat in New York, high speed pursuits through Paris and night raids in Mumbai.

[00:57] features 12 new 6v6 maps that mix vehicle and infantry combat for large-scale battles. DMZ also returns, challenging players to loot, negotiate and extract with whatever they can carry.

[01:09] Pre Modern Warfare 4 also unlocks some bonuses like early access to the open beta the Hunter Killer Operator skin and the Gilded Pearl camo pack which features two weapon camos ready to use at launch

[01:24] Gears of War E-Day is at October 6th and pre-ordering will earn you some bonus perks, like the X-FIL Dom character skin, X-FIL weapon skin set and early access to the open beta. Set 14 years before the original Gears of War, Gears of War E-Day follows Marcus Fenix

[01:40] and Dominic Santiago on Emergence Day, the day the Locust Horde first erupted from below. The game brings a darker, more horror-focused tone, rebuilt combat systems, and expanded multiplayer, including a new 12-player wave-based survival mode called Horde Siege.

[01:56] There's also a limited edition Gears of War E-Day Xbox Wireless Controller, and I have a feeling these are going to go quick, so grab yours before they're gone. The Evercade Nexus launches on October 30th and Best Buy has a double pack bundle that

[02:11] comes with physical copies of Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie. If you haven't heard of the Evercade Nexus, it's a gaming handheld that plays 32 and 64 bit games. It has textured grips dual analog joysticks and a high resolution screen But what really stands out is its retro design and library of physical game cartridges It seriously brings back that nostalgic feeling Speaking of cartridges if you pre through Best Buy you receive a free Data East

[02:38] Arcade 2 cartridge which features 12 Data East Arcade classics. Ace Combat 8 Wings of Thieves is out October 2nd and there's a Deluxe Edition that includes

[02:50] a ton of bonuses. like early access, a premium Ace Pass Plus voucher, and a customizable cosmetic set. In Ace Combat 8 Wings of Thieves, you'll step into the cockpit and take to the skies as an elite pilot.
