Check If TikTok Shadow Bans You (New Feature)
53sTaps into the widespread fear of shadow banning, offering a concrete solution that viewers will want to try immediately.
▶ Play Clip"Delivers a practical strategy but heavily promotes a paid tool, padding the content with a lengthy sponsor segment."
This video presents a four-step strategy for rapidly growing a TikTok account to 1,000 real followers within 24 hours. The creator, Rob the AI Guy, emphasizes checking for shadow bans, aligning metadata, using AI tools for content creation and posting times, doubling down on successful content, and including effective calls to action.
Use TikTok Studio's 'Account Check' feature to see if your account has any outstanding issues or violations that could be holding your page back. If issues persist with few followers, consider creating a new account.
Ensure your name and description clearly reflect your niche. This helps TikTok understand your page's focus and show your content to the right audience. Use consistent keywords across your name, description, video content, and hashtags.
Use AI tools like ContentBuddy.ai to analyze competitor posting times and find the best times to post for your niche. This removes guesswork and helps you reach your audience when they are most active.
Once a topic or format performs well, change your entire strategy to replicate that success. TikTok's algorithm rewards consistency. The creator attributes his 160,000 followers to focusing on two main formats and hooks.
Include a clear call to action in the last two seconds of your video and in the second line of your description. Aim for a follower-to-like ratio of at least 10% to gauge effectiveness.
The video concludes that by following these four steps—checking for shadow bans, aligning metadata, posting at optimal times, doubling down on successful content, and asking for follows—creators can significantly increase their chances of gaining 1,000 real followers quickly.

08:26[00:00] Step number one, you're getting a thousand followers on TikTok really fast, making sure that TikTok isn't silently shadow banning your page, and they just released some brand new analytics that will actually let you check that. So the way that you're actually going to do this is you need to come into your TikTok studio.
[00:14] If you don't know how to do this, you're going to come over to your TikTok page, top right-hand corner, you want to click on that, you're then going to see TikTok studio. You want to scroll almost all the way down, and you are going to see account check right here. This takes just a few seconds to actually go through and run.
[00:28] and it looks at all of your recent uploads, and it makes sure that you have no issues. So you can see right here on my page, your account posts have no outstanding issues or violations, but this doesn't include your status on TikTok shop, creator monetization, or other features.
[00:41] Essentially what this will do, though, is tell you whether or not you're shadow banned. And if you see the same exact screen that I see right here, you can proceed to step number two to getting your first $1,000 on TikTok. But if you don't, you need to make sure that you resolve
[00:53] whatever is there, because TikTok will actually be holding your page back. and if you've been held back for a really long time, to be quite honest with you, if you don't have that many followers, you might just be better off creating a new account. Step number two to gaining 1,000 real followers in 24 hours
[01:08] is making sure that you have your metadata set up correctly. And this isn't only going to be on your account. It's not only going to be on your posts. You need to make sure that these two things are aligned, and here's how you check it. Okay, so in order to actually make sure that your metadata is set up correctly,
[01:22] here's what you want to make sure that you do. So if we come over to my page right here, we can see my name is Rob the AI Guy. What you're going to notice is that my name is actually in my name. I have AI inside of here. It's the same exact thing that shows once, twice, three times, four times inside of my description.
[01:38] And you need to make sure that you are doing the same exact thing. If we come over and look at somebody else, for example, Dr. Jones right here, we can see he has lasting weight loss in his name. And then his description has to do with all of that.
[01:50] You want to make sure that you're doing this because this is going to help TikTok say, okay, this is what this page is about. Because if you're posting about too many different issues or too many different topics, it could be why TikTok has no idea who you are.
[02:02] So they're constantly showing your content to the wrong people. And that could be one of the reasons that you're not getting the views that you want. In addition to that, if we actually come over here and look at some of the content, we could see this says Shad Shippity in the watermark.
[02:14] I, in the voiceover, am saying Shad Shippity. So that's two places that this AI tool is showing up. In addition to that, if we come over here, we see it a third time in the description. We see it four, five, six times if we include the hashtags.
[02:26] If we actually look at the comments on this I got 2 comments So ChatubiQ was sent in the comments at the very least hundreds of times And all of this stuff combined in order to tell TikTok hey this is what this content about We come over here and we see GLP right here
[02:42] We see the same exact thing. Inside of his description, we see it. And then we can see he got 500 comments. And if we actually go through these comments, a lot of them are about weight loss, are about breakfast, are about GLP-1.
[02:54] And that's why this actually works. and you need to make sure that the metadata lines up also because not just what you do in the videos and whether or not people like it, it's, hey, can TikTok actually look at this content and say, yeah, we have an audience that wants to see this
[03:07] and then actually display that to that audience. Step number three, you need to make sure that you're, one, posting at the right time either for your page or for your niche if you don't have that many followers right now. You need to make sure that you're creating the right type of content.
[03:20] But lucky for you, there's an AI tool that makes this incredibly easy to do. Let me explain. Now the AI tool that's going to make this incredibly easy for you is going to be ContentBuddy.ai because when you come into ContentBuddy and they come under TikTok right here,
[03:32] you're going to be able to see that they have tons of different things that are incredibly helpful. For example, this competitor tracker. What this actually allows you to do is this allows you to add a bunch of your different competitors right here and then we're going to be able to click on view all posts or find breakout videos
[03:47] and this is actually going to go through and find viral videos from our competitors. For example, if we scroll down a little bit, we can see this video got this greater 12,000 views right here. And guess what? We can actually come over here and filter this however we want.
[03:59] But let's say we want to recreate this video that got them 12,000 views. We can simply just click on Recreate. And this is going to go through and write us a brand new script, brand new description, brand new hook, brand new hashtags that we can actually use on that same video to be able to recreate it.
[04:13] What this does is take the guesswork out of your process. So we can see that it just literally went through and did this, and now I can recreate this video really quickly. In addition to that, if I click on Find Breakout Videos right here, this actually makes this whole process even easier,
[04:27] because this only goes through and scans the breakout videos. This will literally just show you the only videos that are doing really well for these creators, and it's going to use the ones that were posted recently. Like again, this one crushed it, 370,000 views.
[04:40] We can click on Recreate and know instantly exactly what we should be posting. Now, the next feature they have that's incredibly useful, let's say that we want to find out when this creator is actually posting to see what we can do about that.
[04:53] What we can actually do is come over outside to TikTok right here, and if we click on reach optimization, we're going to see best time to post right here. This actually allows us to post in anybody's profile. You could use your own profile or you could use somebody else profile and this is going to analyze their latest posts and tell you the best times and best days that they posting at and what you can actually learn from it Now we can see this has gone through
[05:15] This shows us exactly what days and what times this creator is posting at. We can actually see a heat map of when their content does the best. And this goes through and gives us AI recommendations if we were in their niche of exactly when we should be posting.
[05:28] You should be going through doing this for all of your competitors and for your own page because this is going to give you insights that are incredibly valuable. They're basically going to tell you exactly when to post, what to post, and this makes your life way easier.
[05:40] It takes the guesswork out of growing on TikTok, allows you to spend way less time creating content, and if you're not using this in somebody else in your niches, you're going to get left behind. Now, the best part about ContentBuddy is that if you go to the pinned comment below, you get started today with a seven-day free trial.
[05:53] This tool is an absolute no-brainer. It helped me gain over $160,000 on TikTok, and I spend less than five minutes a day creating content for TikTok because ContentBuddy makes that so easy. So go to that pinned comment below if you want to grow faster while spending less time creating content.
[06:08] Step number four is you need to make sure that you're implementing a strategy once something begins to work. And most creators, they mess this up. What they end up doing is they're kind of just throwing stuff at the wall every single day. Or maybe they begin to see some success and they don't lean into it.
[06:22] And when I say lean into it, I'm literally talking change your entire strategy to trying to replicate that success. Because that's the way that TikTok works. At the end of the day, TikTok doesn't want you to be incredibly creative.
[06:34] I know that they kind of say that, but that's not how the TikTok algorithm actually works, because that's not how humans work. That's not how AI works. That's how TikTok's algorithm works. It's based off of the humans that are actually watching content and the AI that they're using to serve that content up.
[06:47] So when something works, here's what you want to do. Now, here's exactly what it looks like to actually double down. If we come over here, we could see that this video is about ChatGPT. This video is about ChatGPT. ChatGPT. ChatGPT.
[06:59] ChatGPT. Chachibuti. So, if we look at, it looks like this is my top 12 videos on this page, we see that one, two, three, four, five, six, at least six of them are about Chachibuti, because I doubled down on
[07:12] that topic. Even though Chachibuti, to be quite honest with you, isn't anywhere near as popular as Claude right now, it still gets a lot of views. I don't know why. So, you need to actually take this into consideration on your own page, where you might think that something's more popular,
[07:25] or there's something that more people are interested in, but it's actually not. If we look at this we see things you didn know you could do with AI things you didn know you could do with AI things you didn know you could do with AI things you didn know you could do with AI We got five of them in another segment So literally out of my 160 followers it really took me two formats and two hooks in order to actually achieve that because I doubled down If we come over to my latest posts we can see that a lot of them are kind of all over the place
[07:49] because I'm posting about Quad, I'm posting about Gemini, I'm posting about a bunch of different stuff. But if we look at my recent video that went viral right here, it was a video about ChatGPT. Now, of course, I'm doing that to try to test and try to always stay on top of things
[08:02] because I'm not trying to go viral every single time that I post. You want to make sure that you're implementing a very similar strategy Because as you can see, again, 160,000 views, chat to the T. 13,000, chat to the T. This video did pretty good. This video did pretty good.
[08:14] Both of them were about Gemini. There's this one right here about chat to the T. Gemini again, 100,000 viral again, chat to the T. 22,000, chat to the T. So it becomes very obvious what's actually working.
[08:26] And you want to double down, triple down on that. Take that incredibly seriously if you're trying to grow. And that last thing you need to make sure that you're doing is you need to make sure that in every single video that you upload a TikTok, and this is probably the most important thing that we've ever talked about. You need to ensure you're asking people to follow your page.
[08:41] And there's a right way to do this. There's a wrong way to do this. And there's a way for you to figure out whether or not the way that you're doing this is effective. So let me explain. Now, here's exactly how you could do this. So if we come over here, you could see the followers. You could see the likes. If we actually pull out a calculator, you want to do this on your page.
[08:56] We could see that I have 160, 500. That's my followers divided by 923, 300. That's how many likes, if we do a division there and then we multiply this by 100, we get 17%. So 17% of the
[09:10] people that like my content end up following me. You want to make sure that you have at least a 10% ratio. If you don't have a 10% ratio, it's because you're not doing this correctly. We look at this video right here and we actually go to the end of this video, we could see that I right here,
[09:24] I'm pointing at the follow button that I'm telling people follow if you want to be smarter with AI. You need to make sure that you have a call to action like this. Ideally, it should be in two places. One, it should be in the last two seconds of your video like I have it here, and it should
[09:36] be in your description. I would put it in the second line of your description so it's not the first thing that people see. I know it might seem corny, might seem like something you don't want to do, but I guarantee you if you do this, you will end up getting more followers because it just gets
[09:49] more people to follow. People need to be told what to do, and if you're not telling them what to do, you're not leading them in the right direction, and you're leading them away from that direction, then odds are they won't follow you. If you begin to implement this, and you get a video that gets
[10:01] 25,000, 50,000, 100,000 views, you will get over a thousand followers literally just from a singular video. Now, if you enjoyed this video and you want to learn more about the approximate AI algorithm, I just want to suggest you check out this video right here that walks you through
[10:14] exactly how it works and what you need to do for it. I'll see you over there.
