AI Summary

This video presents a five-step strategy for growing on TikTok, emphasizing account setup, engagement type, posting time, content format, and editing style. The creator claims these methods helped them gain over 160,000 followers and achieve viral success, even without an existing audience.

[00:00]
New TikTok Algorithm

TikTok released a new algorithm that makes it easier to gain views, especially for accounts with no followers. The creator claims to have used these methods to go viral multiple times.

[00:14]
Account Setup and Warm-up

Ensure your account is properly set up and 'warmed up' to communicate effectively with TikTok's algorithm. This includes optimizing your name, description, and playlists to reflect your niche.

[00:40]
Playlists and Keywords

Creating playlists around popular topics (e.g., 'brown spots', 'pimple popping') helps viewers watch multiple videos and signals to the algorithm what your content is about. Your name and description should also include niche keywords.

[02:20]
Focus on Comments, Not Saves

The most valuable engagement is comments that mention keywords from your video's hook. Random comments or emojis can be seen as inauthentic and may hurt your reach.

[04:08]
Post at the Right Time

Use tools like ContentBuddy to identify the best times to post based on competitor data. For example, one creator gets 700,000 views posting Wednesdays 10 PM–midnight EST.

[07:33]
Match Viral Video Formats

Reverse-engineer viral videos in your niche to match their length and format. For instance, if a viral video is 44 seconds, aim for 42–48 seconds. This helps TikTok classify and promote your content.

[09:32]
Editing: Hook, Subtitles, Fast Cuts

Every viral video includes a hook (text or photo), subtitles, and fast clip changes (e.g., 5 clips in 3 seconds). Constantly moving elements keep viewers engaged and prevent scrolling away.

To succeed on TikTok, focus on niche-specific account setup, encourage keyword-rich comments, post at optimal times, match viral formats, and edit with hooks and fast cuts. These steps, combined with tools like ContentBuddy, can significantly boost your reach and growth.

[00:00] TikTok just released a brand new algorithm that makes it easier than before to skyrocket your views on TikTok, especially if you have no followers. In fact, I just used Use No Hacks to go viral a bunch of different times, and I'm going to show you in this video exactly what you need to be doing.

[00:14] Step number one is you need to make sure that you actually have your account set up correctly, because your account needs to be warmed up, and you need to make sure that you're actually talking to TikTok's algorithm through your account in the right way.

[00:27] Let me explain. So here's exactly how you want to make sure you have your account set up. Exactly how Dr. Leela right here has it set up. So we can see she's doing multiple things right. The first thing she did right, look at all these playlists.

[00:40] Brown spots, red spots, pimple popping. These are all popular things that she's actually creating content about that goes viral over and over again. The second thing that she's doing correctly is if we actually look at her description right here,

[00:53] She has dermatologist, cancer advocate, and artistic video creator. Now, guess what? If we actually look at the far majority of her content, it has the same keywords here. Look at how frequently she goes viral. She goes viral all the time.

[01:06] I mean, look at this. Million views. Two million. Two million. A million. Two million. Six million. Three million. Three million. Three million. Two million. She goes viral over and over again. And then the next thing that she does, if we actually look at her name right here, not

[01:19] her username, which, by the way, these two things are completely different, your username is going to be your app. It's actually going to show up in your URL. Just your name right here. You should be changing it so that you actually have your niche in here. That's why she has dermatologist right here. To show you another example of a different creator in a different

[01:34] niche doing the same thing, we could look at my channel right here. We could see I post about AI news, so I have Rob, the AI guy. In addition to that, in my description, I have the latest AI tools and news, AI automations and AI agents, and also automate your work with AI. And then we could

[01:51] see my content does the same exact thing here. I go viral all the time because this is set up correctly. But the one thing I'm missing that I could actually change if I want to take this to the next level is adding in those playlists right there. Because again, that actually helps, one,

[02:06] your viewers watch multiple of your videos, which increases the odds that they actually get recommended your content in the future. And it just helps TikTok's algorithm understand, hey, this is truly what this person's posting about because they posted about it several different

[02:20] times. If I was going to do that, I was going to do something like chat GPT, AI news, and then I would also add another one that's like AI tools you didn't know about, or maybe something for Gemini or Quad. Now, change number two is you need to make sure that you're focused on getting the

[02:33] right type of engagement on TikTok. A lot of people think that this means saves. A lot of people think that this means likes. A lot of people even think that this means people sharing your content, but that's not what you actually want. What you want to make sure you're getting on TikTok is people

[02:47] commenting on your post but they can just be any random comments because if they random comments TikTok is actually going to think that you have a bunch of bot followers or that you actually bought a bunch of bots to go ahead and comment on your content Instead you need something very specific to happen

[03:03] So these are the type of comments you actually want to go for on your posts. If we look at this video, this video got over 9 million views. It says that it's having trouble playing this video right here, but all we're really looking for is for the comment section to load because I want

[03:15] to show you just how important this is. We could see right here this one says Chat to be taped. This one says ChatGPT. If we scroll down a little bit more, we're going to see tons more. This one says AI. This one says ChatGPT.

[03:27] This one says ChatGPT. ChatGPT. ChatGPT. So people are actually commenting about what the video is about. Most importantly, they're commenting about the keyword that I have in the hook here.

[03:39] If we come over to another video like this one right here, we're going to see the same exact thing. Agent mode. Discount code. ChatGPT. Agent mode. Prompt. So they are actually commenting about the real video.

[03:52] You need to make sure that this is actually happening on your content. If you just have people commenting emojis or commenting random stuff, and they're not actually commenting the keywords, and that's specific right there, the keywords that actually show in the hook of your content, it isn't actually going to help you.

[04:08] In fact, those comments could actually be hurting you, because they're making TikTok think that you're doing inauthentic engagement on your account, and this could be one of the things actually holding you back. Now, change number three, and this is probably the most important part of this entire video, is you need to make sure that you are posting at the right time, and you need to make sure you're posting the right type of content.

[04:27] Lucky for you, this is actually easier than ever before for you to be able to figure out. In the past, this would take hours for you to do, or you'd just be guessing, kind of throwing random content at the wall. But now, TikTok will actually show you this.

[04:40] Now, the tool that I personally use to do this that's helped me gain over 160,000 followers in a really short period of time spending just a few minutes a day on my TikTok is ContentBuddy. Because what ContentBuddy allows me to do is after you just log in every day,

[04:53] I can come over to TikTok right here and you can see I've created a TikTok intelligence dashboard. This allows me to automatically see every day what is trending in my niche, what formats are winning, what content is actually crushing it for my competitors,

[05:06] what keywords my audience is searching for. I could even click into this and see exactly what is trending. And if I click on recreate right here, it makes it incredibly easy to actually recreate these posts. In addition to that, if we come over to learning and insights, I added in my competitors right here.

[05:21] In fact, here's everything that I actually gave this. So I gave it my account, my competitors, my niche, my keywords. And then I just click on refresh intelligence and this reposts this every day. I have exactly what my competitors are doing that I'm not doing.

[05:33] This actually went through and audited all their content to just give me more ideas based on their top performing posts, shows me their posting schedule, so what days and what times actually work best for them And you also get access to more than 20 different AI tools to help you discover trends discover competitors see what music is trending We can come over here and see that we

[05:54] can use this AI video remixer tool. This will actually allow you to take any TikTok video, be able to remix it with a brand new script, hook, hashtags. And if we come over into reach optimization, they have a shadow band checker, they have a bio optimizer, best time to post.

[06:09] And this best time to post tool is incredibly useful because let's say that we come across a new competitor. For example, I'm going to come over here. Let's just say this creator right here. We can actually put their username in right here because this will go through and this will

[06:23] actually look up exactly what days and exactly what times are helping this creator go viral and actually get them the most views. And if you weren't using this tool, you simply wouldn't be able to figure something like this out. So we can see right here when they post on Wednesdays from

[06:38] 10 p.m. to midnight, they get over 700,000 views. From 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, 200,000. And from Saturday, from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m., they're getting over 200,000 views. Now, clearly, they're not on

[06:50] the East Coast, but these are the times that they're posting in EST. It also gives us a heat map right here, which lets us know exactly when they're posting so that we could recreate their schedule to reach their audience and make better content than them. And the best part about Content

[07:05] buddy is, you can go to the pinned comment below and get started with a free trial today. This tool is going to help you get more views, grow faster at all, while spending less time creating content on TikTok because you're not going to be guessing when you should be posting or what you

[07:18] should be posting about, and it helps you basically get all the way to exactly what you create. So go to that pinned comment below and get started today with a free trial. Now, the next thing you need to make sure you're doing is you need to make sure that the content that you post, now that you know

[07:33] how to create training content is going to be the right rank and it's actually going to have the right type of metadata. Let me explain. So when it comes to creating content that is actually the right rank, here's what you want to make sure you're doing. Let's say we're going to be making

[07:45] a video about chat, YouTube, watermarks. What you want to do is you want to come over here and you want to do a search and you want to find videos that have gone viral. For example, this video went viral, this video went viral, this video went viral, but it's really these two videos that are

[07:59] the most viral. So what I want to do is actually open up these videos and see how long they are. This video is a minute and 40 seconds. If I come over to this video, this video is 44 seconds. Now, ideally, what you want to do is you want to see which format you're going to be doing.

[08:12] If I'm going to do a video in this format, then I'd want my video to be around 42 to 48 seconds. You want it to be almost identical to the creator's video that you're going to be recreating. But if I was doing a video in this format right here, I'd want it to be over a minute and 40

[08:28] because essentially, TikTok isn't just looking at what topic you were posting about, they're looking at the topic you were posting about and how long your video is and what format your video in in order to actually classify it as whether or not they going to show it To give you another example here let say we come over here and we going to upload a video about quad code We can see that there multiple different types of videos here

[08:52] For example, this video went viral. If we're going to recreate this video, this one is 41 seconds long, so we would want to create our content anywhere from like 38 to 45 seconds long. If we make it

[09:04] too long, it's going to be too long, TikTok won't push it out. If we make the video too short, it's going to be too short, TikTok won't push it out. And I know what you're thinking, Rob, isn't this copying? This isn't copying. This is simply just reverse engineering what the algorithm

[09:18] likes so that you make it easier for TikTok's algorithm to share your content to the right people. Now, that last thing you need to make sure you're doing is you need to make sure that you're editing your content correctly. In specific, there are three different types of things you need

[09:32] to make sure that you're doing your content. So when it comes to actually editing your videos correctly, the first thing you wanna make sure you do is you wanna make sure you have a hook on the screen. The hook either needs to be a photo or text. You could see this individual is doing both.

[09:45] In addition to that, we could see that they have these subtitles up on the screen the entire time. You need to make sure that you're doing that. If we look at this, in the first three seconds, look at this, he had this clip, he had this clip,

[09:58] he had this clip, he had five different clips in the first three seconds. You want to make sure you're doing that same exact thing in your content. So what is this guy doing right here? He has a hook. He has fast clip changes.

[10:10] He has subtitles in his content. In addition to that, we could see he's not just showing, he's also telling. If we go through TikTok, every single video that goes viral implements those same exact things.

[10:22] If you are not editing your content like this, you're not going to get the views that you want. Even if we look at somebody like this, that is literally just doing talking head content, We could see subtitles. We could see a hook. We could see that he is showing and telling.

[10:35] Now, something as simple as putting something up on the screen like this also is going to capture people's attention. It gets them to begin reading. By the time they're almost done reading it, we're on to the next thing. And by the time they're almost done reading this, we are on to the next thing.

[10:48] By the time they're almost done looking at this, we are on to the next thing. So there's constantly something moving. There's constantly something changing. And you might think that this is annoying, but here's the reality. People that are scrolling their phones all day on TikTok,

[11:02] doesn't matter what age, doesn't matter what niche, doesn't matter what demographic, they are looking for this. Even people that are doing lapping content, you'll notice they're holding something in their hand. They're moving things around. They're putting something on the screen.

[11:14] They're blowing out a candle. They might have a pen in their hand. They're doing something that subconsciously is capturing your attention and making you not scroll away, and that's what you need edited into your content.

[11:26] Now, if you enjoyed this video, and you want to learn exactly how the TikTok algorithm works, right now in September 2026, I would strongly suggest you check out this video right here that walks you through exactly how it works. I'll see you over there.
