Dropshipping Is Not the Right Path... I Deleted All My Videos for This Reason

[00:46] Unfortunately, that's how I understood it. This person is the one who started his own online business. He's the one who learned about e-commerce. He's the one who later learned about Shopify dropshipping, and that Americans are buying from him. Money is like American money, and

[01:01] this is something I haven't talked about on my channel because I personally thought it was good, I thought it was right, but now I know and I'm a million percent sure that it's wrong. I'll tell you why. For those who don't know me, my name is Mohammed Al-Kuwaifi. I started in e-commerce

[01:14] in 2017, and thank God, we're still going strong. I've made more than $5 million in sales since I started, and much more, but I decided not to share the numbers anymore after reaching $5 million. One of the e-commerce methods I used for a while

[01:27] was Shopify dropshipping. In short, you get goods from China one by one, not in large quantities like 50 or 100 items, but one at a time. You don't order a new

[01:39] item until you sell it. Then you run paid ads on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok to bring visitors to the specific product you're promoting to your online store. It takes you 24 hours. You create an ad and a store, generate

[01:52] sales, and then you order the product from the supplier and ship it directly to the customer without the goods coming to you. Now, many people tell you that this is selling what you don't own, that it's not permissible, that it's not true. It wasn't based on this principle that I decided to stop dropshipping, but

[02:07] on a completely different principle. The idea that you can run ads 24 hours a day is one of the biggest scams that I myself fell for. How can you run an ad 24 hours a day unless you use artificial intelligence, which didn't exist when I started, or by taking

[02:22] existing videos from social media, modifying them slightly, and using them as your own? This is what made me decide to stop talking about dropshipping and delete all my videos, even if they bring in thousands of views per month. I mean, the numbers I get from YouTube in this field are

[02:37] more than $100,000 a year just from videos, from the profits, subscriptions, commissions, and so on. Therefore, it was a very difficult decision for me, but what is permissible (halal) is better and more important to me, and the blessing that will come to my livelihood later because of the decision

[02:51] I am making now is better and more important. So today, because of the issue of ad theft, I decided that I will never talk about dropshipping again. Because, would you accept it for yourself? You create an ad, you work hard on it, you pay actors to film it, you write the ad, it takes you two, three,

[03:05] or four days to write the script, you think about what scenes, you think about the angles, where the actor should stand—outside the house, inside the house, in the garage, or in the garden— so that you get the best possible ad. Would you accept it for yourself if someone stole your ad and

[03:19] used it for you? Of course not. So if you wouldn't accept it, then they definitely stole it. You're doing something wrong. Unfortunately, in my YouTube videos, I used to say that we take videos from the internet—YouTube, Instagram, TikTok—combine them together, edit them, and then we get a

[03:32] new video. My mind was that I'm not stealing anymore, I'm creating. Creating a new video is wrong. I mean, I was teaching people how to speed up videos, and God forbid, this is a huge mistake. This is a huge mistake. I really regret it and feel an unnatural sense of guilt. I don't

[03:47] want money or anything, so I've decided to delete the videos. I'll delete them right here in front of you today, God willing, on the screenshot. And starting today, I'll give you all the training I have in my mind about e-commerce. I used to sell it as courses, I used to sell it as a coach, but you'll

The way to create your own brand is to create a brand like all respectable people do, like we do and like we are
