From Zero to WoW Token: Vanilla Zones Only Part 3

[00:01] absolutely zero gold all the way up to being able to purchase a WOW token, but I'm only allowed to make gold in vanilla zones. So far in this challenge, we have made 73,000 gold, and I'm actually going to start out here by looking at the

[00:15] large raw might fish. I saw this fish here. It's insanely valuable, but I have no idea how to farm it or if it will sell or how you get it even. So, I will try to do that and see if we could possibly find this fish and even sell

[00:28] it. According to Waw, it looks like they're spawning in Swamp of Sorrows. It look like we will be fishing for a while cuz apparently we can fish it randomly. I think in Swamp of Soros and even Blasted Lands. So, I will give it a

[00:41] shot. I have no idea. Like, I'm not the best fisherman so I'm not really sure how this works. If I just need to randomly fish or how it works, if I can applying skill or something. But, I'm going to give it a shot and be fishing

[00:54] for a while and we'll see if we can get our hands on at least one of them. you have a higher chance of getting it if you have higher skill in fishing. So,

[01:09] I'm not really sure if I can even get it yet because my skill is only 210. So, I think we need to up our skill in fishing to like 250 or something. And it seems to go very slow cuz I sometimes get a skill point, but it's very rare at the

[01:22] moment. That would be fishing and fishing and fishing to see if we can get our skill points up there when we have I think it's about like I don't understand. I tried to do some research but about 1 to 2% chance of actually

[01:34] dropping that fish. So, it would would be really nice to just try it out. So, I'm at least going to get my fishing skill up cuz why not? I actually just skill up cuz why not? I actually just got one large raw might fish. So, that

[01:47] is really really insane. We're only 215 in skill, but we managed to get one. So maybe it's super rare, but at least we did it get it and that's really fun. It's going to be interesting to see if it sells. Like it has a sell rate which

[02:00] is like possible to sell of course and it's so expensive to be a fish in like classic. And it seems to only be used for one random dish as well like uh only be used for this might fish steak which is like not at all anything good. So I

[02:15] buy this. Of course I will give it a shot and try to sell it. Hopefully we will be lucky enough to sell it. I think so since it has a sell rate like it will it will take some time but hopefully it we will be able to at least but I'm

[02:28] going to keep fishing here for a while and see if we can get another one. Okay, so it's time to try even another farm here. I managed to get two of the fishes from earlier and now we are located here in Duskwood below the ground and these

[02:42] uh silent shades here are kind of hyper spawning. Whenever we kill one, another spawns and they have the chance of dropping, as you can see there, the essence of undeath, which is like 140 gold at the moment, which is really,

[02:54] really good. I'm going to try to farm this place for a while and see if it's get some green buoes and stuff here, which is really nice. However, you're not really killing like an insane amount of mobs, so there might be other better

[03:07] locations, but we're still going to give it a shot here. So, all we do here is just running back and forth, back and forth here, cuz they just spawn and spawn and spawn. Pattern stylish blue shirt. Not bad.

[03:21] Pattern stylish blue shirt. Not bad. That's definitely going to sell. 8k gold per hour here, including greens then. So, it's going to be lower by just killing mobs here for like 12 minutes. It's not that good. And it seems to be a

[03:36] essences. Like I'm not fully sure how they work here. It feels like they are we're going to skip this farm for now, but it was fun and worth a try. Of course, I think I will have a little pit stop in Selus next to do some of those

[03:52] elementals, the twilight mobs, and also some thorium gathering. So, I think that is where I'm going next. So, we're back here in Silitus doing the same farm that we did in the previous episode. basically just killing all of the

[04:06] Twilight mobs here for both the greens and the texts, the encrypted Twilight texts that we could turn into the NPC that gave us like those loot boxes the day after in the mail, which could contain some nice recipes. So, we're

[04:19] basically farming the Twilight mobs whenever they stop to drop the good stuff. We go ahead and farm our elementals/ thundering things here. And together with that, of course, we're doing some thorium mining to have a

[04:32] chance to get those arcane crystals. And uh yeah, this farm, I don't know why I bad, but it's not that good either. It's just like fun. I don't know why. Maybe three different things or like multiple different things at the same time,

[04:47] constantly changing place. I'm not sure, but I just like it. I also actually took the decision here to buy materials to craft some bars. I also said that earlier in the last episode, I believe that I wanted to like utilize mining to

[05:00] convert into bars to simply just make some gold while at AFK, buying mats, like buying the ores, converting into bars, and then just straight up selling the bars. So, I went ahead and did that here with both thorium, the enchanted

[05:12] thorium bar, and also the myithrils. So that I did here and it's some easy gold for sure when you are AFK crafting, but it's not going to get you rich. That I making a lot of gold every craft. You're making like one gold every craft. So

[05:27] it's not making you giga rich, but you can make some easy gold while you're not there at least. Okay, it's time to try another bits of farming. And what we're going to do is go to Molten Core. And in Molten Core, we can farm a bunch of

[05:42] different stuff, but primarily what we're going to farm here is blood of the we're going to farm here is blood of the mountain and dark iron ore. So, as we can see, those mobs here are level 30 and we're able to basically one-shot

[05:54] them. So, it's super super easy to do it. The good thing here in Molten Core is that there is a lot of spawns for the dark iron ore. It is just one thing and that is that we have to be very very careful of pulling the bosses because if

[06:07] we accidentally kill a boss, we cannot run this more this week and we don't want to have that happening now and it's just Wednesday, right? But the molten destroyers can drop blood of the mountain which is worth like 500 600

[06:19] really drop anything interesting, I think, in terms of special items at lot of dark iron deposits in here. I'm going to be um taking all of them which is secure from bosses because we can't really like gamble on getting the ones

[06:34] that is um close to bosses because yeah, as I said, we don't want to kill the dark iron ore here, like three of them. So, the run that we're going to do here is very basic. We just simply go here, go in here for the ones that we can take

[06:47] without going further in here. So, we're not crossing towards the bosses. And then we're going back and we're taking the route down here. And close to this we're also getting some destroyers along the way here. And then we just simply go

[07:00] out and reset. So it's not more than that, but a run here takes a little bit of time since we're very slow on a rogue generally. Like I've been farming this before on higher level characters with like faster speed sets and stuff. Then

[07:12] we're way faster, but we're not the fastest on the rogue, right? But it's going to be trying it out for a bit and see how much gold we can make. I just posted a free guide how to make gold with patre orders over on my Patreon.

[08:06] so I think this is the best spec that we can be for this. So we're just going for another run and hopefully we will be getting some of the blood of the like hard to get or really hard to get

[08:18] even per run I believe. So, it's quite hard to get them on average. We will see how many we end up with. But hopefully I can do like 10 runs here now and see if we can make some nice gold. Oh, we just got one from from mining. That is I

[08:32] think really rare to get or like really rare, but I might be overexaggerating or pretty rare to get one at least. Oh, there we go. We got another one. That's really lucky so far, I think. Let's get another one then from these two and then

[08:45] but we can't really do a lot with them since yeah, we don't have disenchanting either. So, what we're getting is actually a chance to get a greater eternal essence here. I'm just thinking like if we were to drop engineering

[09:00] profession in the challenge at one point. And maybe if we farm a lot, it's worth going enchanting. But I'm not sure. I'll definitely think about it and I think I will keep all of the epics until we make a decision. I'm not sure

[09:14] if we're really going to be making a lot from disenchanting to be honest, but maybe we will. Like, I have no idea. We get 39 gold on average here disenchanting it this item instead of selling it to a vendor for 86 silver.

[09:27] So, it's quite of a huge difference actually. And it's not too many items actually make some gold. And it looks like if we hover over a lot of items here that they have a good decent shunt value. So m maybe that's something that

[09:41] we should think about swapping to enchanting. I'll think about it. And if we do, we can just craft some stuff with engineering first. I'm thinking unstable triggers. I have a few but or maybe we will just scrap it. Honestly, we could

[09:54] craft a bunch of solid blasting powder if we want to. We have some on the to think about this. But that's definitely an option now when I see this. Maybe that would increase our gold per hour from other farms where we get

[10:08] greens. that is so low value that we could potentially then disenchant into we should not post on the auction house. Now I'm getting interested cuz I'm as well. So it might actually be really really good. Okay, so we're back and I

[10:23] think it's actually time to drop engineering and we're going to go into enchanting for the disenchanting. I made a lot of solid blasting powder here as you can see. So we just have that when we drop engineering behind. I'm not sure

[10:35] not. Like I'm kind of scared cuz it all depends on how much I farm, right? But hopefully I can do a lot of farming so we can actually make use of getting enchanting instead. Let's take the decision and actually unlearn

[10:50] engineering for now. O, that's rough cuz we leveled that to pretty much max level or whatever, but now it's gone. So now we're just going to learn enchanting. The good thing with enchanting is that we really only have to learn it and not

[11:03] doesn't matter what skill we have, right? We just need to disenchant. So now we are going to begin with just disenchant all items and see what we get. So what we want to get is the greater eternal essence cuz we can

[11:16] actually get two to five from each year according to TSM, which we are not doing. Okay, there we go. We got three of them. So that's good. I guess we're kind of unlucky during that session cuz we only got three. But still, it's

[11:29] something. So now I will actually disenchant way more of the stuff that we drop, right? Anything that is like have a chance to give me the greater eternal to be a disenchant unless it's really good to sell. But no more like posting

[11:43] items for 10 gold that has a 15 gold disenchant value, for example. So that disenchanting way more and be very much more conservative of what we're trying now I'm going to stream and we're going to do some kind of farming and hopefully

[11:58] actually think it's time to do Sul Farak have disenchanting to see what we can actually make. If we get something good, we can sell it on the auction house. If not, we can disenchant the greens that

[12:11] we get. However, when running this one, I realized it take us quite a long time and the amount of greens that we're getting is not really adding up that much in terms of how much gold that we like would like to make. So, it wasn't

[12:25] you're lucky to drop something very valuable like a school flame shield or like some epic weapon, Destiny or something, then yes, it would probably lot of gold, but that is so rare. Yeah, just the greens to disenchant and stuff.

[12:39] It's not making it worth it enough. So, I did two runs here and then I kind of just skipped it. Maybe we come back. We'll see later. But when I did Sulfurak here, I got recommended from someone in chat that I should be trying out AQ20

[12:53] and AQ40. So I immediately after the Sulfar runs went to AQ20 and AQ40 and did a run of each, killing everything, killing all of the bosses to get all of

[13:05] the gear. Like chance to drop good BE items, but also getting a lot of items that we can disenchant. However, this turned out to be super slow as well. And I guess we weren't lucky at all. We weren't really getting any items. Of

[13:18] course, we get the boss loots that we can decent shot, but it didn't end up being more than like I think 2k gold maybe running those two. And it took us know maybe 40 minutes or something to run both. I also didn't know what the

[13:31] heck I was doing because I'm not really familiar with those two raids. Um, so I stuff. So I was a rookie, but still you could have definitely run it faster than what I did. But it wasn't good enough for me. So I did it once. I don't think

[13:44] we are going to come back here because yeah, it wasn't my favorite. So, a couple of farms now that hasn't been too good in my opinion, but it's of course very fun to try them out. But we're now back in the lovely molten core farm.

[13:57] This is actually a farm that I really do enjoy for some reason. It's a little bit blood of the mountain you get from both the mining nodes and also from the giants. So, that is adding a little bit of fun to it in my opinion. And also,

[14:10] it's like consistent gold. And now when we can actually disenchant the epics for us cuz instead of vendoring them for like 80 silver, we can now get like 20 30 gold each from disenchanting them, which is going to add up and it's going

[14:23] to be definitely improving this farm for us. So this one we are most likely going to come back to because this is one of my favorites so far in this challenge have to try out some other stuff. And I do have some more farms that I really

[14:38] and how much gold we can make from them. I decided to not make the um dark iron ore into dark iron bar simply just because I didn't really feel like it going in there with so little amount of ores. I think if we sometime farm a lot

[14:52] of ores, we can go there and basically just smash through and melt everything cuz that adds up a little bit of profit. But I think it's a little bit too much effort if you don't have at least a couple of hundred ores to go and melt.

[15:04] But we'll see. Maybe we will do that later. Okay, it's finally the time to open the mailbox. So, let's do it immediately. We have now 54k currently in our bag because we have invested some and we have crafted some. But now, let's

[15:18] see how much gold we're going to be opening for this episode. I'm so hyped. So, in the first 100 ms, we are looking at 59,000 gold. Absolutely freaking

[15:30] lovely. So, this one I really, really do like to see. And of course, we have some savory deviate delight cuz of course we continued farming that cuz it was really nice to fish and then cook that item. Some greater eternal essences, solid

[15:43] blasting powder. We still have a lot of it. So, uh yeah, we have have some to sell off definitely. Dark iron ore, more dark iron ore, unstable triggers, solid blasting powder, steel bar, myithril bar, 927 of them. That's the one we

[15:58] purchased and recrafted. So, that's nice. Bronze bar, same there. So really, bronze bars there. Yeah. So that's really nice. Let's collect this 59,000 gold. And in the next 92 auction, it is

[16:15] looking like 17,000. So here we have bunch of different stuff. Nothing really too valuable. Some essence of undeath, some dark iron bar, some more savory deviant delights, thorium ore, dark iron ore. Nothing really too special here.

[16:30] 16.9K. Let's open that. So, we reached a total of 130,000 gold. I actually was hoping that we could make some more this week, but I've been

[16:42] really busy and I'm going away now on a vacation for a couple of days, so I didn't have too much time to play. Next episode, we'll see how far we can get. Of course, the dream would be to get our WoW token, but we will see if that is
