From 0 to 2,000,000 Gold in Midnight - Part 3

[00:01] from absolutely zero gold all the way up to 2 million gold. We started this challenge with zero item level and right now we're up to 214. We also, of course, started with zero copper in our bag and now we have 147k.

[00:18] So, so far we are making a good progress in this challenge and I'm really happy about that. For now though, we learned cooking in the end of the last episode and we have 100 skill in it. But it is time to actually acquire our equipment

[00:33] Because we don't only want to go with mining, herbalism, and fishing, we also, of course, want to try out some crafting so we're going to go with cooking as I'm going to try to not spend all of my gold, but yeah, we're going to have to

[00:48] go on a spending spree again if we want to get the cooking equipment. And I absolutely think that it is mandatory for us to get the equipment if we want cooking. So, we're going to have to see how much it costs. It looks like we're

[01:02] going to be needing to spend 18k on the hat and 14k on the pin. I think this is however, we are getting kind of ripped off here. I might be able to actually try to find some crafting order in trade

[01:16] chat for this and provide the mats and a little bit of a fee instead of buying it on the auction house. So, maybe we try to go the economical route this time and search in trade chat for a crafting order. And if that's successful, that's

[01:29] great. If it's not, then we just go and buy it here. In terms of the cooking tool, we're going to have to buy the multi-craft enchant for 14k. So, this is setting us back a little bit, but let's go and check what mat is required to do

[01:42] we can find someone to make a crafting order for us. It doesn't look like there is a lot of mats that we need here. We need five molten light, eight sunfire silk bolt, three radiant shard, and also majestic claw and codified ash road. So,

[01:56] I do believe we can come out pretty cheap here if we can find someone to make us these items. I hope we can cuz I'm going to buy them at now. So, we need to buy everything in rank two because otherwise we will not be able to

[02:10] get it in the max quality. The Majestic Claw is really cheap, 980 gold only. That is a rip-off. Okay, so I think we came out pretty cheap here. I think we spent about 23,000 instead of like 31,000 on the auction house. So, as long

[02:25] as we pay less than like 7K fee, this should be a good choice. And we're not going to pay 7K fee for the blue equipment. That is too much for us in this challenge. So, let's try to look for someone. So, what we do is just

[02:39] typing in trade chat looking for craft and we link the items and I hope that be a lot of people doing crafting orders. So, I think we should find someone pretty easy. I am on a large server as well, so that usually helps.

[02:52] chat right now, but I still want to progress. So, I'm not really going to wait, I think. So, I asked in my guild and Sir Louis is able to make them for going to do the crafting orders in the guild and pay him a little bit of a fee

[03:08] as well. So, make a guild order. I guess we pay 2,000 then. Yeah, let's pay 2,000 per equipment. I think that's fair. At least we saved like few thousand gold maybe from the auction house. Like now in the aftermath, it's not like really

[03:23] have saved a little bit of time with just buying them off the auction house, order, save a little bit of a gold. It's no negative really. While I'm waiting for my items to get crafted, I just quickly want to give a shout out to the

[03:36] think that you should join up. It's in the description. We're the friendliest gold making community out there, guys, and we all trying to get rich. So, there. If you wonder, by the way, how I got 214 item level, we did a little bit

[03:52] of world quest on stream because I was thinking if we can get some higher item level, we probably can do some herbalism mining more efficiently when we can kill the mobs that spawns faster. So actually I went ahead and did that so we're at

[04:05] 214 now which is pretty good I think. And also in our specialization for mining and herbalism, we added this. We have five in midnight overload and we have unlocked the wild node and it is same in mining. We have five and we have

[04:20] unlocked this because this gives you extra materials from mining those mobs that spawns from the wild nodes in Sul'thraze. So I actually highly recommend you to go with this spec in your mining and herbalism. I didn't have

[04:33] it before. I didn't really kill the mobs before but now I think it's worth it fast. But getting this is absolutely huge. So do get these if you're doing mining and herbalism. I highly recommend it. So we got the rolling pin made now.

[04:47] Let's enchant it with some extra multicraft that is very very important when you do cooking cuz it is basically the only 3% multicraft that you can get. multicraft, you have zero multicraft and multicraft is really really strong in

[05:02] cooking. So make sure you get that one if you're doing any cooking. I would probably recommend you to try to get the purple tool as well for cooking if you're doing like cooking seriously. But it's pretty hard to get like three

[05:15] resets for us to do the abundance event so I don't think we're going to be able to get it. But at least just remember to enchant your tool cuz it's really really important. I think this character is looking kind of cool now by the way. I

[05:27] really like this like equipment looking like a druid. There we go. We now have our cooking hat as well. That is absolutely huge. So now we are pretty much beast out in cooking except our purple tool of course. But this is going

[05:40] for some profits. Let's go to the cooking trainer and see if there's any learned all of them, so let's do that. It is actual season launch tomorrow or full season launch, I should say, where

[05:53] Mythic Plus is also getting released. So, I hope that food will get an increased demand, but we will see what happens. But, that is my plan at least, for a good profit. But, we're going to try to craft a couple of things here

[06:07] right now and see if we can make any gold. Even if we just make a couple want to get some return on investment from our cooking equipment. So, let's check that out, but we're going to go and get this earthy garnish first or the

[06:21] savory anomaly to check what price they are and see if that can increase our profit margins a little bit because that gives us extra resourcefulness on every craft. So, it's two or three gold. I'm going to buy two of that, two of that

[06:35] just to see if they give any difference in amount of stats that they give because I haven't actually tried. They both seem to give us a total of 21 resourcefulness here, so it does not really, really matter which one we go

[06:48] cheapest one. It is increasing our margins, but this is not looking that good, you know, having to buy something for like 900 gold potentially and then make 19 gold. That's too little profit for for us. It's like too risky in case

[07:02] the price drop. But, let's check here when we scan again and see what it says. Okay, so that fish has kind of gone up a lot in price. So, I don't think that is worth now. This one, it actually says it's profitable. I think we're going to

[07:15] it's profitable. I think we're going to try to make a few Arandor Celebrations this wrong here since their regular add-on is telling us it's true. So, let's try to craft 50 of these. Ignore the amount of mats and stuff you see

[07:29] something from my war band bank, so don't worry about it. That is not stuff that we have. Let's refill some materials here from the vendor that is needed, and let's try to make this then. 52 crafts is what we have. Oh, yeah, we

[07:44] So, we need to go and buy a few of that as well. I'm buying 226 just so we have a few extra. Okay, so now then let's see if we actually make some profit or if we lose gold on this. So, let's do a few crafts. There we go. We got a lucky

[08:00] multi-craft proc. It is quite rare now and we only have the 3%. So, it's always good if we get it. Okay, there we go. We did finish all the crafting. For some reason it didn't use my ass root that I had in my bag or maybe I had more of

[08:14] them. No, I'm not actually not sure. I will deposit this into the war band bank just so so we don't cheat. So, we get to rid of all of our ass root cuz it didn't take any of the ass root. There we go. They are now in the war band bank and

[08:27] gold so we're not going to use them. I need to fix that so I don't have that. It's just annoying. But, there we go. We actually managed to get a total of 108 auction house and see what that is worth. We can also check how much we

[08:40] spent on making them. It's worth 19,000 gold and we spent about 16,500 gold. But, we also have some material left here as you can see five of the petrified root. So, I would say this is a successful crafting session. So, I'm

[08:55] going to post this up here now and we're going to see if it actually gets sold. I think it will eventually sell here overnight or something. I'm not going to try hard sell them right now. The it is feast so it's not selling as fast as a

[09:07] regular food. But, it should be selling quite fast and tomorrow when M+ open, I think we can move this pretty easily as well. Look here by the way, I did drop this one when I was out in the open world doing some gathering and from the

[09:21] treasures, I got a blue beauty. However, it's not selling so I'm not sure if But, it's at least up on the auction house now and we can hope for the best. Now, we have done our first little cooking crafting and we will see what

[09:35] happens. I'm most likely going to do some more cooking or I am going to do some more cooking, but right now it's not looking like the best market for it. So, I will wait until like tomorrow or a few days. We'll see depending on when I

[09:49] want to do some crafting next time and see if there are some better margins to really insane though. So, let's just have a quick look at this one. Okay, this one is looking really really good. We're going to try to do like 100 of

[10:02] these. That will not set us back too much. We actually don't even need to buy all of them cuz we have a lot in our bag and the tavern fixing is just from the It has a great profit margin as you can see 46% with 16 gold per craft. That is

[10:16] actually really really good, but they are not selling that fast as the feast. our feasts by the way. So, we will see that. By the way, when I do cooking here, I am going to use the chef's hat from now on. Like just because I don't

[10:31] feel like I want to waste time cuz I could rather spend this time working on here and waiting for the crafts. So, I'm going to use the chef's hat and craft. faster. It's really really quick to craft with chef's hat in cooking. So, if

[10:45] you don't have this toy, I always try to push for people to get this toy. I did it a lot before this expansion as well because it's always very nice to have crafting speed even though it's not showing here in crafting details. You're

[10:58] it doesn't matter if have any other speed buff because I think this is max. buff in Donegal or whatever. This seems to be the max. If you don't have this don't think I'm cheating just because of this. I just feel like there's no idea

[11:13] for me to just sit here and stare at the wall while I'm crafting when I have the use the chef's hat from now on when we do cooking and we are actually getting a few multi-craft procs here which is nice. We're so far up to

[11:26] 200 food here now. So, yeah, we sold a lot of our feasts. We only have 44 left. So, that's good. And this one is getting posted now, 5,500 gold. I think that was really good profit cuz we didn't spend so much. We

[11:40] basically spent 3,000 gold on the fishes, and everything else was really, really cheap. Like here, yeah, so this is totally fine. We We made some good profit here. If we manage to sell this one, it's definitely

[11:53] harder to sell than the feast cuz this has a region average daily sold of 556, and the feast has 11 thousand, so that is selling way more. But we will pray for some sales here, and as I said, Mythic Plus tomorrow, probably stuff

[12:07] will just sell, I hope. And while we wait for sales, we can of course go and do some more dual gathering, which probably I'm going to do right now, so we can progress a little bit more on the challenge. And also, I want to test my

[12:20] skill now when I'm a bit more geared and see if I can pull off better numbers or not. Okay, so I was thinking that it was time to have a look at cooking again and see if we can find anything profitable to craft. I have done some gathering.

[12:34] after checking out cooking, but I was thinking that possibly we can craft something for profit, and then we can have it on the auction house while we're out gathering. So, I think that can be a good idea. Let's see if we can set up

[12:47] CraftSim here to scan cooking for us. So, we go to CraftSim, we go to recipe scan, and then we can see what we can tick here. I think this should be good. Let's scan and see what happens if we can find any profitable crafts by just

[13:01] doing this. I'm going to also optimize finishing reagents. Okay, that is in, so that's good. It's looking like some stuff. Okay, that one is reset, so that one is too good to be true, of course. Let's see if we can craft a few here and

[13:52] and that one looks actually like really, really good profit. Then we have tasty smoked tetra, but this one has also been reset. But I think if the prices are fine on that, we can craft 50 of that as well. Like the prices here is looking

[14:06] really, really good today. I don't know what happened. Like maybe prices have just gone insane now, or we are just like looking at a reset market and stuff see. We'll try at least. How is the

[14:18] other feasts looking here? Yeah, this one is 25 gold per craft. Potentially, we could look if we can do some of this if we can find the materials cheaper, cuz like this one we can turn around a lot of gold here, but let's just see if

[14:31] we can find the materials cheaper, otherwise we skip it. Okay, but that's a good crafting queue for now. 14k we will spend and potentially make 8k then if we sell everything at the prices. So, let's go to the auction house and see if we

[14:44] it's saying. Okay, I got all of the mats. Maybe I spent a little tiny bit more, so I don't think we make 8k profit, maybe 6k, but still I'm deliberately not showing my mailbox, cuz we're going to have that in the end of

[14:58] wait until then. Oh, I just see that I have some gathered stuff that I haven't posted. So, let's do that after we have done the cooking as well. We need to buy potentially more stuff here from the vendor, but let's craft up this stuff

[16:26] I can one-shot the mobs faster, cuz that's what I've been told from chat. So, let's see if we can trust the chat or not. Looking at mining, we now have 50 skill in plentiful ores, 20 here. We have 40 here, and we of course have five

[16:39] and unlock this one. This is really important, so do get this if you're mining and herbalism in Suramar, cuz that is really important. When you kill the mobs, you get so much more output, so do get this spec. 35 here. We don't

[16:53] really need more here now, cuz yeah, this perk we don't really need. So, we here. So, we're going to wait with that. Then we are filling out Aszshara's Root, at the moment. So, we're going to probably just go here to the finesse

[17:07] thing, and then maybe start out with the silver searcher here. We will see. We are not going to get a lot more points this week, because we have basically gotten everything so far. We we the quest left though that I totally forgot.

[17:20] Now we sold the auctions again, but yeah, we'll get it next after we have quests. But let's go for a gathering session. Let's try it out as balance and see if that will be king or if I'm getting trolled. Okay, there we go. We

[18:45] got more aggro. I hate when you get into combat with the mobs that you're not supposed to kill cuz it takes so long to kill them without cool downs. Okay, so we've been going on now here for almost 34 minutes and we're looking at a gold

[18:58] per hour at 80,000 gold and our total value that we've gathered is 45,000. So that looks really, really nice. We are still making so much gold doing dual

[19:10] that. But we're going to go back to the city now and post everything up and also have a quick look if our cooking stuff has sold. I doubt it has sold, but let's go have a look at least and we can repost it. So, it looks like most of our

[19:26] food hasn't sold. Even maybe we haven't sold a single piece. I'm not really sure, but I'm going to do a cancel scan of this and we can repost it. But, let's post everything that we gathered. The tranquility bloom rank one is going like

[19:39] really really low in the price now, so which is sad together sanguic thorn. So, those are going to be in the bottom now forever. I guess it's kind of expected. Yeah, all rank ones is like really going down. Okay, so I think that was

[19:51] everything that we farmed and it's looking like 45 46k on the auction house, which is good. So, that means this is accurate, which is always really nice to know that we are making 80,000 gold an hour, which is a lot of gold per

[20:04] hour for doing dual gathering. Let's repost all of the food. Maybe they will sell until tomorrow morning. It sold four feasts like now, so hopefully it will sell during until the morning. We have a total auction house value of

[20:16] about 64,000 gold now, which is really good. I'm going to go to bed, but tomorrow I will be doing some more farming and hopefully make our mailbox a little bit bigger. Okay, so I've just had the most insane gathering session

[20:29] here as you can see with a total gold per hour of 109,000. We did get five lotuses already in a 30-minute session, so that is of course why the gold per hour is so insane, but it is still really really good with

[20:43] it's just so good now and I think it's so good cuz if you're not too familiar to get out there and just do some gathering and make like so much gold per

[20:55] hour compared to what you will be making later on. So, still of course highly highly recommend gathering. I think it's the absolute best time to do it now in better than this until the next expansion, so better do it now than

[21:09] later. Let's post everything up here and see how much it's worth. So, double-check if Kiwi Farm is telling us the truth. Okay, that was all of our stuff posted and our total value on the auction house right now is 54,000 gold

[21:23] or 55,000, so that is good and that is on par with what Kiwi is telling us because we have some lumifins here, 42, that has not sold yet. However, we have sold all of our other food so far, so really, really happy about that. I

[21:36] think I'll do that tomorrow. But, looking at this auction house now, very nice to see and we already have sold 40K worth. Like the materials, it's just flying off the auction house so, so fast. And I'm actually so hyped to open

[21:50] It's going to be amazing to see how much we progressed. I have not played the most, sadly. I wish I could spend more time on it, but I've had a lot of other stuff to do and also, like I'm enjoying Midnight in all different ways now and I

[22:05] challenge, but I think we have progressed far either way, so it's going to be really nice to see. I keep forgetting doing the profession quest up at the auction house. That's kind of sad. We need to really get them done
