How to EASILY make your first 100k Gold in WoW - Step by Step Guide

[00:00] I know that a lot of you are struggling

[00:01] to make gold, how to get started, and

[00:03] what to do. In this video, I'm going to

[00:05] show you a step-by-step guide on how to

[00:08] easily get started and make your first

[00:10] 100,000 gold. The War Within expansion

[00:12] is not even needed for this guide, so if

[00:14] you don't have that, you are totally

[00:16] fine as well. I'm going to try to

[00:17] include different farms, so you're not

[00:19] getting bored along the way, and also so

[00:21] you get some more knowledge about

[00:22] different farms, so you can make even

[00:24] more gold later on. But, let's begin

[00:27] immediately. So, for this, I recommend

[00:29] you to be a druid, but it is not

[00:31] necessary. However, being a druid is

[00:33] always going to be the best farmer,

[00:36] especially for all farms that has

[00:38] nothing to do with the latest expansion.

[00:40] Druids are fast, they have instant

[00:41] target, instant kill spells, they have a

[00:43] lot of stuff, they have the travel

[00:45] forms, they are just outstanding and

[00:47] best at all different kind of farms.

[00:50] But, if you're not a druid, if you don't

[00:51] have a druid, you don't need to be a

[00:53] druid. It might take you a little bit

[00:54] longer, but it's absolutely not

[00:56] necessary for this. But, the first step

[00:57] for this guide is actually going to be

[01:00] to learn skinning and enchanting. We are

[01:03] going to go to the skinning trainer here

[01:05] in Stormwind. If you are Horde, does not

[01:07] matter, just go ahead and learn

[01:09] skinning. Now, I already have it here,

[01:10] but that does not matter at all. So, you

[01:13] just learn skinning, and we're going to

[01:14] head to the enchanter trainer as well.

[01:16] Okay, so at the enchanting trainer,

[01:18] simply just learn enchanting. What we

[01:20] want enchanting for is basically the

[01:21] ability to disenchant items. We are not

[01:24] going to level any professions in this

[01:26] guide. We are simply going to be

[01:28] farming, but using disenchanting is in

[01:30] some of the farms really, really good,

[01:32] actually. It can multiply the values of

[01:34] the greens by like 20 times, so having

[01:37] disenchanting for this is going to be

[01:38] really, really good. But, after we have

[01:40] learned the profession, we don't really

[01:42] have to worry about them anymore,

[01:44] because it doesn't matter what skill

[01:45] they are, we just need to have them. The

[01:47] first farm that we are going to do is

[01:49] actually located in Blasted Lands. It is

[01:52] located down here in the Tainted Forest,

[01:55] so we're going to head there

[01:56] immediately. Okay, now we are at the

[01:58] location here in Blasted Lands. It's

[01:59] just slightly above the Tainted Forest,

[02:02] located here in the swamp, kind of.

[02:04] Okay, so when we are here, our focus

[02:06] here is to kill a bunch of different

[02:08] mobs, but the main focus is killing the

[02:10] Tainted Black Bear. They can actually

[02:12] drop the Warbear Leather, which is a

[02:14] quite valuable leather that people use

[02:16] to craft old content stuff, and that is

[02:18] what making this farm kind of good. But,

[02:20] I highly recommend you to kill all of

[02:21] the other mobs as well, because they can

[02:22] all drop something useful, and while

[02:24] you're running around, you kind of might

[02:26] as well do it, right? As you can see, we

[02:27] got a Warbear Leather. Right now,

[02:29] they're 120 gold, that is really good.

[02:31] But, I think you will see a price around

[02:32] like 70-80 gold each, so don't expect

[02:35] them to be 120 gold, that is a bit too

[02:37] high. Okay, so when doing these farms,

[02:38] we are going to do 30-minute sessions.

[02:40] Why I'm not doing longer sessions is

[02:42] because usually I can get quite bored if

[02:44] I'm staying at the same location for too

[02:46] long time. So, usually I'm farming for

[02:49] 30 minutes each, and then I'm swapping

[02:51] to a different farm to diversify myself

[02:54] of what items I'm selling at the auction

[02:55] house to get faster sales, but also to

[02:57] not get totally bored of farming. But,

[03:00] you can do it for longer if you want to,

[03:02] but I recommend you to do 30-minute

[03:04] sessions, just you don't get absolutely

[03:06] bored of doing this, unless this is your

[03:08] absolute favorite thing to do in life.

[03:09] But, what we're going to do now is farm

[03:11] this for 30 minutes, and then we're

[03:13] going to check out the next farm. Also,

[03:14] if you'd like to, you can get add-ons to

[03:17] see how much gold you make while

[03:19] farming. What I recommend then is, of

[03:21] course, getting LootAppraiser Reloaded,

[03:23] which is an add-on basically listing the

[03:25] items that you get, so you can see how

[03:27] much you gold you make here when

[03:29] farming. But, for this add-on to work,

[03:30] you need another add-on to act as a

[03:32] price source for this, so then you need

[03:35] either TSM or Auctionator, and then you

[03:38] need to do an Auctionator scan on the

[03:40] auction house as well. I'm going to

[03:41] leave the add-ons in the description

[03:42] below, but I'm not really using any

[03:44] add-ons while farming, just

[03:45] LootAppraiser to see here like kind of

[03:47] how much you gold you make per hour.

[03:49] But, let's go on and farm this for 30

[03:50] minutes, and then we're going to jump on

[03:52] to the next farm. Okay, we're coming up

[03:54] here at the 30-minute mark, and it's not

[03:57] looking that good so far in terms of our

[03:59] gold per hour. But, what I've realized

[04:01] here is that we are actually seeing some

[04:04] wrong numbers on the LootAppraiser, and

[04:06] we will see some higher numbers when at

[04:07] the auction house. What I quickly want

[04:09] to say though, that if you guys see each

[04:11] other farming this kind of farms, they

[04:13] are always better to do in a group. They

[04:15] are fully manageable and doable as a

[04:17] solo player, but if you see each other

[04:19] and you invite each other, you don't

[04:21] have to talk. I know a lot of people

[04:22] don't want to do that, they just want to

[04:24] chill and play, but if you are in a

[04:26] group, you are increasing your gold per

[04:28] hour an insane amount. So, just keep

[04:30] that in mind that if you do it together,

[04:32] you make more gold, but it is still very

[04:34] doable as solo, of course, and that is

[04:36] what we're going to do in this video.

[04:37] But, let's get back to Stormwind and

[04:39] post our items on the auction house and

[04:40] see how much value it's actually worth

[04:42] without having to rely on LootAppraiser.

[04:44] So, let's first vendor everything that

[04:46] we have in our bag, and that's going to

[04:47] result in about 110 gold. We also going

[04:50] to disenchant all of the greens here to

[04:52] increase our value. Some of them has a

[04:54] very, very much higher disenchant value

[04:57] than the what they have in terms of

[04:58] vendor value. I can easily see this by

[05:00] using the add-on TSM, but it is pretty

[05:03] much always worth it to disenchant those

[05:05] greens instead of just vendoring them.

[05:08] So, that is what I did here. I

[05:10] accidentally actually disenchanted one

[05:12] of my trinkets that I wanted to keep

[05:13] that I had from before this video. But,

[05:15] let's post up everything here on the

[05:17] auction house, and we will see how much

[05:18] it adds up to. So, after posting

[05:20] everything, we can see that it was worth

[05:22] 7,000 gold here on the auction house,

[05:24] and it is time to go ahead and check out

[05:27] the next farm. For the next farm, we

[05:29] actually need potion of treasure

[05:31] finding, so we're going to buy one of

[05:32] that, and I also recommend you to buy

[05:35] one of the Vial of Alacrity. It is a

[05:37] vial that gives you a lot of movement

[05:39] speed for 30 minutes. So, having this

[05:41] increases the gold you can make because

[05:43] you run faster, you kill more, and you

[05:45] loot more. So, highly recommend you to

[05:47] check out the Vial of Alacrity every

[05:49] time you farm, because it is really,

[05:51] really good. But, we're going to go to

[05:52] Firelands now, located in Hyjal, and

[05:55] we're actually going to do some skinning

[05:57] and some treasure farming. I really do

[06:00] like this farm, because it is very, very

[06:02] easy to do, and I'll show you right here

[06:04] how to do it. The raid is located right

[06:06] here, and you can run it 10 times per

[06:09] hour if you want to. We are just going

[06:10] to do a 30-minute session though, we're

[06:12] not going to do all of the lockouts,

[06:14] because as I said earlier, we don't want

[06:15] to get bored. So, we're just going to do

[06:16] 30 minutes, but all you got to do is get

[06:18] into the raid, use your potion of

[06:20] treasure finding, your Vial of Alacrity.

[06:22] Also, you maybe could have used the

[06:24] Fried Bonefish here, which is a meal

[06:26] that you eat, and whenever you kill a

[06:28] mob, you get some movement speed. So,

[06:29] that one would have been good, but I

[06:31] somehow forgot that one here as well,

[06:32] it's really, really cheap. So, simply

[06:34] what we are doing here is just killing

[06:36] all of the mobs that we can see and

[06:38] skinning the ones that we can skin. The

[06:40] basics of this farm is to kill all of

[06:43] the mobs here on this large platform

[06:45] without killing any bosses. We do not

[06:47] want to kill any bosses, because killing

[06:49] bosses will make us locked out of this

[06:51] raid, and then we will have to wait

[06:53] until next reset, which is in EU next

[06:55] Wednesday, and US next Tuesday, before

[06:58] we can run this farm again, and that we

[07:00] do not want to happen. So, once again,

[07:01] do not kill the bosses. But, you just

[07:04] skin everything that you can, kill

[07:06] everything that you can, and you loot a

[07:08] lot of good stuff. Then, just go out,

[07:10] reset the dungeon, and go in again, and

[07:14] rinse and repeat. As you can see here,

[07:15] after our 30-minute session, our bag is

[07:18] filled with treasures, filled with

[07:19] bloated stomachs, and a lot of green

[07:21] items. And the green items here actually

[07:23] has a great disenchant value, so this is

[07:25] really, really good. As you can see

[07:27] also, after opening all of these

[07:28] treasures, our gold per hour

[07:30] significantly increases there in the

[07:32] LootAppraiser window, and that is

[07:33] because, of course, we get a lot of

[07:35] materials from that. After that, we just

[07:36] disenchant all of our greens, and we

[07:38] have a lot of materials that we can post

[07:40] up on the auction house. So, let's go

[07:42] back to Stormwind and post everything

[07:44] up. Okay, so before we post everything

[07:45] we here, we have 5K on the auction

[07:47] house, and when we are done posting, we

[07:50] have as much as 12,000. So, that was

[07:52] about a 7K gold in that 30 minutes.

[07:55] Those farms are done solo, so they are

[07:57] not getting you the most gold per hour,

[08:00] as you can see, but they are, in my

[08:01] opinion, very chill to do, enjoyable,

[08:03] and if you just do this couple of times,

[08:05] you will end up getting the 100K. The

[08:07] next farm that we are going to do is

[08:09] farming Felcloth. Felcloth is a material

[08:12] used in older crafts. They are used to

[08:14] make mooncloth. Those are all going to

[08:16] be used in housing, so that is really,

[08:18] really good. The demand will increase

[08:20] when housing releases, which is pretty

[08:22] soon. But, right now, they are still

[08:24] selling for a decent amount of gold, and

[08:25] they are actually selling here right now

[08:27] for 94 gold, but the LootAppraiser is

[08:29] once again showing me the wrong value. I

[08:30] don't know why, but you will see it

[08:32] later. This farm is very, very easy to

[08:34] do as well. You don't really need

[08:35] anything to do this farm. I highly,

[08:37] highly recommend you though to use the

[08:38] Fried Bonefish once again, which I

[08:40] totally missed when I did this recording

[08:42] here for some reason, but it is really

[08:43] good to have when you do this killing

[08:45] farms. It's located right here in Swamp

[08:47] of Sorrows, and all you do is just

[08:48] simply run around here in a large

[08:50] circle, kill all of the Misty Grells

[08:52] that you can, and loot them. As you can

[08:54] see, a lot of them doesn't have loot,

[08:56] because basically these mobs is kind of

[08:57] only dropping Felcloth. You can get some

[09:00] greens and stuff, but it is very, very

[09:02] few of them. You can also get epics and

[09:04] stuff, of course, but it's very rare.

[09:05] So, basically you're farming only

[09:07] Felcloth here, and you get one per mob

[09:10] when it drops, and it is quite RNG.

[09:12] These 30 minutes that I did here, I was

[09:14] actually very, very unlucky. I like this

[09:16] farm. I have done it quite a lot lately,

[09:19] because it is really, really chill to

[09:20] do. I have done it both solo and in

[09:22] group, and this session, I was actually

[09:24] very unlucky with how many I got, but it

[09:26] is also quite RNG heavy, since they are

[09:29] like a rare drop. So, you could be lucky

[09:31] and get a lot, you could be unlucky and

[09:33] get only a few. But, it seems to be

[09:35] around the same gold per hour as the

[09:36] farms that we have done previously here.

[09:38] But, very, very enjoyable farm, in my

[09:40] opinion, and you can also do it with

[09:41] your friends if you want to, to increase

[09:43] the gold you make. It is also easy to

[09:45] see here how our luck went. In the

[09:47] beginning here, we had around a 16K gold

[09:50] per hour, and in the end here, we were

[09:52] down only at 7K. However, it is listed

[09:55] too low price in LootAppraiser, but

[09:57] still that is very, very low and I think

[10:00] that is below, below average on what you

[10:02] should get here. But let's go back to

[10:03] Stormwind and post everything up once

[10:05] again. So as we can see here, the fell

[10:07] cloth that we post is about 4.3k

[10:11] in value. We also got a few greens and

[10:13] stuff, but they are pretty useless. So

[10:14] we're going to forget about them for

[10:15] now. I will also do an undercut scan

[10:17] here to relist the items that I have

[10:19] been undercut on. It is quite important

[10:21] to do this. Like you can't expect to

[10:23] post up everything once on the auction

[10:25] house and immediately sell everything.

[10:27] It is old content materials that we are

[10:29] farming here. So you might need to

[10:30] repost them a couple of times on the

[10:32] auction house to get it all sold. So I

[10:34] highly recommend you to check in now and

[10:36] then and do this. And as you can see, I

[10:38] did it easily here with the add-on

[10:39] Auctionator, linked in the description

[10:41] of course. The next farm that we're

[10:43] going to check out is actually volatile

[10:46] water and then we're going to do

[10:47] volatile fire farming as well. So what

[10:49] we need here is potion of treasure

[10:51] finding, we need vial of alacrity, and

[10:53] we need the fried bonefish. So make sure

[10:56] you buy this, use this on these farms

[10:58] cuz the Cataclysm farms, you should

[11:00] always have potion of treasure finding.

[11:01] You make it back instantly. It is so, so

[11:04] important. But to get there, simply take

[11:06] the portal to Twilight Highlands and uh

[11:09] we're ready to start farming. The

[11:11] volatile water farm is located right

[11:13] here. Just don't forget to use your

[11:15] consumables before farming this. I have

[11:17] done that in the past and you just lose

[11:19] out on so much by not using potion of

[11:21] treasure finding. This is once again

[11:22] really, really easy this farm. All you

[11:24] do is run around here in a large circle

[11:26] killing all of the water elementals,

[11:28] looting up everything that you can, and

[11:30] you get rich in the process. Once again,

[11:32] very doable with your friends. I've been

[11:34] able to pull upwards of over 30k an hour

[11:37] lately doing these farms in a five-man

[11:39] group. So it is really powerful as well.

[11:41] But if you're solo or duo or whatever,

[11:43] just run around, kill as much as you

[11:45] can, and loot, loot, loot. Around the

[11:47] 15-minute marker here, I decided I want

[11:49] to do the volatile fire farm as well. It

[11:51] is located right here in the same zone.

[11:54] So it's really, really easy to transfer

[11:56] over to just go here and continue

[11:58] farming. As I said before, I like to

[12:00] diversify, so I just went up here

[12:02] instead and did 15 minutes of this one

[12:04] as well. Very, very easy farm. All you

[12:06] got to do is run around here kind of at

[12:07] the edge of the fiery area killing all

[12:10] of these fire elementals, looting them,

[12:12] getting treasures, and also volatile

[12:13] fire. Really, really easy farm to do

[12:15] once again. Highly recommend it and also

[12:18] highly recommend you to do it with your

[12:19] friends if you want to. This one is

[12:20] usually slightly worse than the volatile

[12:23] water, but it is still very, very good

[12:25] one. Let's go back to Stormwind and post

[12:27] up our auctions again. So we have almost

[12:29] made a thousand gold raw here and we

[12:32] have some more greens here that we're

[12:33] going to disenchant. It is once again

[12:34] Cata greens. They are really, really

[12:36] good to disenchant. I'm going to put

[12:37] that up on the auction house as well. So

[12:39] before posting here, everything on the

[12:41] auction house is 8.3k and after posting

[12:43] up everything, we are looking at 14.2k.

[12:47] So that was about 6k or something there

[12:49] as well. Not too bad. We are making some

[12:51] steady gold here and what I like a lot

[12:53] is that these items is actually selling

[12:56] pretty quick as well. So it should be

[12:57] quite easy to move them and get your

[12:59] mailbox filled with a lot of gold. I

[13:01] will check in in the morning and see how

[13:03] much we have sold. But now we have done

[13:04] a total of two hours of farming. So

[13:07] we're going to see how much of it has

[13:08] sold in the morning, how much we still

[13:10] have to sell, and how much gold we have

[13:11] actually made. Okay, it is now the next

[13:13] day. So we're going to check out how

[13:15] much we have sold. And on the auction

[13:17] house, we still have a value of 4.6k. We

[13:20] haven't sold our warbear leather, bear

[13:22] flank, and some other stuff here yet.

[13:24] But we have had a lot of sales at least.

[13:26] So let's quickly go to the mailbox. We

[13:29] can see here that we have sold stuff for

[13:30] 18.2k.

[13:32] That is not too bad. So we're going to

[13:34] collect all of our gold here.

[13:37] So 19k in our bag and about 4.5k on the

[13:40] auction house. That is not too bad. So

[13:43] now you have the process on how you can

[13:44] go about to make 100k gold. Just rinse

[13:47] and repeat this about four times and you

[13:49] will have 100k gold to your name. It is

[13:52] not harder than that, guys. It is a

[13:53] little bit of a grind of course. And

[13:55] this is only one method that you can go

[13:57] about to make 100,000 gold. But I also

[14:00] think this is one of the easiest methods

[14:02] to make 100,000 gold and that is why I

[14:03] wanted to show them off right here in

[14:05] this video. Also, some of you might be

[14:07] able to make a little bit more gold than

[14:08] me and some of you might be able to make

[14:10] a little bit less gold than me doing

[14:12] this. It all depends on how fast you

[14:13] are, what you're doing, and the prices,

[14:15] etc. So don't get too sad if you make a

[14:17] little bit less than what I do. Just a
