[00:24] So we just got Cambria in her car and she is about to see it for the very first time. I think this is it. Zach got to see the car first, so I'm just going to go in. It's going to be like the ultimate mom car, but it doesn't look like a mom car.

[00:41] Like, it looks sporty. It looks nice. She is. Parked in the middle of nowhere. Oh, it is so perfect. Oh, I just love it. She did it so good.

[00:53] Yep. Take her home. Bye. My truck's a little bit taller, so I lift her in and out, but we are currently at the salt flat. So everything white you see behind me is literally salt and literally tastes like table salt.

[01:11] That was too much. You want to try some? Holy smokes, Cambry. Wait, am I driving it? Yeah, come jump in. This is all you. I've had the car for probably about a week now, and I've put some hand controls inside of it,

[01:25] because obviously Cambry drives with her hands and not her legs, and so the hand controls are electronically wired into the car's control system so she can accelerate and brake all with her left hand,

[01:38] and she'll explain how that works. Oh, your wheels. Look at that. It looks like snow, but it's stealthy. It doesn't taste like snow. My mouth is still way too big of a bite.

[01:50] Right now the suspension is up a little bit. Let's lower it down for a sec. Time to get in, Cambry. your first ride in your own car. I was hesitant about this interior color, but I love it. I love it, love it, love it.

[02:15] how far along are you? 26 weeks. Almost third trimester. And one of the reasons we needed a new vehicle was because her previous car, which is the Tesla Model X, which they stopped making, had two pilot seats in the back and so we need a bench seat that can handle three car seats

[02:29] which is why we needed the upgrade and a little more room. So normally she would transfer this chair and put it across in the seat next to her but since I'm here I'll just throw it in the back and then to activate your hand controls Cambry there this button right here that you press three times Oh okay Well I got to draw my settings Yeah put the seat where you want it

[02:49] Try not to activate the massager at the moment. It's those wheels. All right, how does it feel to be in your cockpit? Yep.

[03:02] I feel comfy. I've adjusted everything, and it's so customizable. So I think it's going to take a minute for me to really, like, dial in all my favorite things. I'm so dressed already.

[03:15] I've never been in a vehicle so customizable. It's wild. Should I take it off? Okay. Maybe we'll walk you guys through how you drive.

[03:27] Okay, so I put my brake on. I'm just pushing this hand control forward. And then I'm going to pop this down into drive. Yeah. One, two, three.

[03:40] Oh, and it lights up so let me know that it's on. Yep. Okay, now my brakes are on. Getting to drive. They're a little more touchy. I feel like I am a kid that just got their learners from it.

[04:46] Oh my god, that acceleration, like it's like raining blue, and then it's cold. Crazy. Crazy. I've never, I've never been this fast.

[05:02] That is insane. This is insane. I mean I did the dark, slow down here. I feel no more, but I am scared. I'm scared. Woooahhhhh! That is insane. Let's just say it's be great out here so the salt is deeper flat compared to what

[05:19] it normally is And rain isn letting it get that far out

[05:31] Oh my god. It's 150. I thought I might get there anyway but that was weird.

[05:43] So it turns out the top speed which we did not hit is 155 miles an hour. I'm not even close to that. Yeah, it's a 0-60 of 3.1, and it has, I'm checking the specs, 1,070 horsepower from the dual motor setup, which is insane.

[06:00] And it can tow 6,000 pounds, which is something we do fairly often. We have two miniature horses as well as one full-size horse that can be carted around every now and then in a horse trailer. Perfect size for one hay bale.

[06:13] and when you're maxing out the 6,000 pounds, it cuts your range in about half, but since there's so much extra battery pack in the Lucid Gravity anyway, we can still go basically everywhere we want to.

[06:26] That's what cool was we're driving. It shows what's underneath the car. Like, it has a camera. It uses the cameras on the outside to show what's underneath, like a transparent vehicle. Super fun. I haven't seen any of the cars yet.

[06:39] Yeah, I feel like it was pretty accurate with its miles, because other EVs we've tried killing, and it just, like, drops so quickly. And you're like, what? Well, what's real then? How many miles do I actually have?

[06:51] But, like, this one is pretty true. The way the hitch connects was a little squeaky, but it also might just be because it was brand new. But we also used the same hitch to transport her off-road wheelchair, which is pretty cool. And so it's just nice having the ability,

[07:04] even though it's like a supercar power-wise, it has the utility, you know, of an SUV as well. Good morning.

[07:17] After having the car for a couple days, give us your three favorite things and something that you don't like about the new Lucid Gravity. Oh, there's so many things that I like. The first being the mileage.

[07:29] This vehicle has more miles than any EV that I've had. That is a total plus. And then the customization of these seats. Like, they hug me. It's pretty impressive how custom it can be to your body.

[07:42] And then there's a massage feature as well. And it heats and cools. So, like, the customization of feeling comfy. And then the third thing are the blinds in the back because the kids love having that to protect them from the sun.

[07:58] I can't stick with just three things that I love. I have a fourth, and it's the doors. The doors in the back open to a full 90 degrees so I able to get in and buckle the kids and like really access the whole car which is what sold me It was like the first thing that sold me on this vehicle was those doors So

[08:16] I had to add that as my number four. Everything else is just a bonus. You really bought it for the doors. Yeah, the access is incredible. And then the one thing I would change, I use the steering wheel to transfer in and out of the car, and it doesn't lock. So I had to change my method.

[08:36] It still works, but if I could lock the steering wheel, I would. Even though it's not your car, what are the three things that you like and one thing you don't? So the first thing that I would take even though it's not my car is the self-driving is really cool, and it'll even like

[08:50] scooch over in the lane, so it's not too close to sim like next to you. So it's more intelligent than your average self-driving vehicle. Another thing is like a small attention to detail. So when you put on the blinker, the speaker of the direction you're turning

[09:05] is actually what makes the blinker sound. So if you're turning left, it'll come out of the left speaker, and if you're turning right, the blinking sound will come out of the right speaker. And then I also like that Cambria is able to use the front and the back with just a fob.

[09:19] She can open the front by herself and actually reach into it, as well as, you know, the back. She can open and close that with just a fob. The only thing about this vehicle that's a little bit hard to swallow is the price. Hopefully, Lucid comes out with some more cheaper options in the future.

[09:31] But for now, this gets the job done and is an incredibly nice car. What was that? I know. It's like a full-on bench seat inside of the car.

[09:43] See if you can transfer in. We're not quite as low as we should be, but... Yeah, I think if it were on the lowest, we'd be golden. Because you never used a frunk in the Tesla, right? No, never. I can't even look inside of it. It's too high.

[09:56] Yeah, but this one, you can put groceries. You can put disobedient children. Women, this video is public. There's cup holders right here. That's pretty cool.

[10:08] I got one on my side, too. And the seat's padded. Yeah, I'm ready to go camping as long as this comes with us. Obviously, we just got this car, you know, 20 minutes ago, so we're not...
