AI Summary

In this Workshop Wednesday live stream, the creator demonstrates his full workflow for producing short-form vertical clips efficiently, from OBS setup and AI-assisted scripting to lighting, recording, and editing in Premiere Pro. The video emphasizes that high-quality clips come from proper preparation and systems, not 4K resolution.

[00:02]
Stream Schedule Introduction

Announces new stream schedule: Lockin Monday, Tactical Tuesday, Workshop Wednesday, Free Game Friday.

[26:39]
Workshop Wednesday Focus

Today's workshop is about showing how to make clips in minutes, including OBS setup, AI assistance, and editing.

[29:13]
OBS Setup for Vertical Clips

Shows OBS configuration with a vertical scene. Camera (Sony A75) outputs 1080p via USB, and a LUT is applied in OBS filters for color grading.

[33:42]
Importance of Lighting and LUTs

Lighting and LUTs are key to good quality. Uses a single key light at 45 degrees and his own LUT pack. The camera is a crop sensor, but with proper setup it looks professional.

[45:05]
Ideation with AI

Uses ChatGPT to generate a comment-based reaction video idea. Creates a fictional comment ("How do you get your vertical videos to look so good? I upload in 4K and they look terrible") with a username (Milslayer69) to elicit engagement.

[01:24:13]
Recording the Clip

Records the response in OBS with the LUT applied, using a teleprompter-like script from AI. The take is less than 2 minutes.

[01:33:06]
Editing in Premiere Pro

Cuts the clip, adds pan/zoom effects (111% to 140% scale), overlays the AI-generated comment image, applies captions, and adds music with a drop at the hook.

[01:43:24]
Final Result

The final clip is 35 seconds long. The creator emphasizes that the entire process from idea to finished video takes about 2 hours (including live interruptions).

[01:49:10]
Publishing Routine

Posts to Instagram first (can cross-post to Facebook), then YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat. Uses platform-specific titles and hashtags generated by AI.

The key takeaway is that efficiency in content creation comes from having a streamlined system: proper OBS setup, good lighting, a LUT for color, AI for script and title generation, and a consistent publishing routine. Focus on the essentials, not unnecessary specs like 4K.

Mentioned in this Video

Tutorial Checklist

1 29:13 Set up OBS with a vertical scene (1080x1920) and apply a LUT filter to the camera source for color grading.
2 45:05 Use ChatGPT to generate a video idea (e.g., reacting to a fake comment). Ask it to produce a script or talking points.
3 01:27:56 Create a comment overlay in Photoshop: copy the AI-generated comment, add drop shadow and inner glow, export as PNG.
4 01:24:13 Record the clip in OBS using the vertical scene. Speak naturally while referencing the script. Aim for under 2 minutes.
5 01:26:35 Import the recording into Premiere Pro. Unlink audio, cut out mistakes, and arrange the best takes.
6 01:33:06 Add pan/zoom effects: set scale from 111% to 140% on different clips to create movement. Use keyframes for subtle pans.
7 01:37:39 Generate captions: use Premiere's auto-caption feature (from transcript), adjust style to bold font with stroke, position above comment overlay.
8 01:42:36 Add background music: cut the track at the buildup and drop to sync with the hook. Lower volume to 25%.
9 01:48:01 Export the video in 1080p. Use AI (ChatGPT) to generate platform-specific titles and hashtags for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
10 01:49:24 Publish: post to Instagram first (cross-post to Facebook), then YouTube, TikTok, and Snapchat. Use a consistent routine to avoid delays.

01:54:46

[00:02] is another episode of lockin live. We are focusing on workshop Wednesday. packaging. I only have to say this over a few just to get everybody in a healthy

[00:14] routine. Lockin Monday, tactical Tuesday, workshop Wednesday, free game Friday. Okay, those are going to be the the four setups of everything moving forward. Tactical Tuesday is more about idea. Uh, workshop Wednesday is more

[00:29] idea. Uh, workshop Wednesday is more about um the actual doing the the the showing it live. It's it's very easy uh very very easy to [ __ ] say to do things, talk about things. It's better to show it, right? So, I'm

[00:43] going to try to do my best at figuring out how to do this naturally. Um, you know, I got one one PC, one monitor, so trying to squeeze everything into a scene and show it all off. Uh, so that way it's it's digestible. It's going to

[00:56] be a little tough. um with the new stream schedule and organization. You I can't be telling you guys to set up structure in the blueprints and the streamer and creator blueprints if I'm not doing this uh myself. So, I'm trying

[01:10] to lead by example in this [ __ ] Uh it helps immensely once you actually hunker down and figure out your schedule and adhere to it. Um so, we are doing that.

[01:23] Fridays, friendly reminder, that's when we do channel reviews. That's when we do, it's no longer going to be channel reviews anymore on like a YouTube channel review. It is going to be content audit in general. It is going to

[01:37] through. It is going to be talking about sure your YouTube channel like how you and verticals, maybe what you're doing wrong with Instagram. Now, here's the thing with the update to this to make it more broad and open and invite everybody

[01:53] into this. The only way to successfully do this is premium membership on YouTube, you have to join Discord. Once you connect your YouTube to your Discord and you join the premium membership, you will automatically get access to a

[02:08] private channel in the Discord by having your Discord account connected to the account that you watch on YouTube. Okay? That that you join a member. It's very crucial that you that you remember to do that. Whatever membership you have the

[02:21] account under, you need to connect that to Discord. Once you join my Discord, it's automatic access. We'll have that set up. I think he said by tomorrow. I think he said by tomorrow. With that, too, I took some of your guys' advice. I

[02:36] took some feedback from a couple other people. Uh I reached out to a couple creators that you utilize Patreon and what they're doing with workshops. I think I think I c I think we're coming out with a better a lot of people

[02:51] suggested doing this at like a higher rate. I think we can I think we can do a lot for little in my opinion. So the creator workshop membership is now live. Now what this one is is this is a personable

[03:06] once a week. It's very crucial to understand that where we get together in Discord calls and we [ __ ] talk shop. It's a workshop. It's a it's a it's a let's [ __ ] okay. Let's actually get in here and let's all as a group of

[03:20] people, 10 people, 20 people sit down and let's talk how we're doing this. We're doing that. It's available. I'm not going to press you guys about it. It's there. We'll adapt as we build that up. If we do build it build it up, it's

[03:35] available. It's just there. Same thing happens with that. If you're in that membership, whether you're the YouTube membership, just the the regular one, the premium membership, or the creator workshop, you connect your YouTube to

[03:49] Discord. Every one of your tiers gets private access to certain chats in Discord. Yes, we play fa favorites. Sorry. I want to [ __ ] communicate with the people that support me. So, so yeah, new stream schedule

[04:05] workshop Wednesday where we're going to get a little bit more in in depth with get a little bit more in in depth with the tools every week. Um, yeah, I think I think that covers everything, right? Any questions about the setup and

[04:17] workshop for small creators. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I wanted to bridge the gap between the consultation [ __ ] the one-on-one stuff. I just think

[04:30] that's going to be for for people that are already generating income. They're trying to figure out their setup, stream gear. Um, what they're doing, they're Instagram. What could they be doing better on YouTube? Um, they're having a

[04:44] capitalize it? They're doing good everywhere. They want to implement a website. How how am I doing that? Um, those those are more for very serious membership where we talked in streams and stuff. I think we solved the problem

[04:59] of making where it was just only YouTube. It was just turning into YouTube only. So the Tik Tok crew felt out, left out, Twitch kick, they all felt left out cuz there's no way if they're not taking YouTube serious right

[05:11] now, which you should be. That's just my opinion. Um they they couldn't hop in with like TikTok because the only way to do it before is I just went on to premium members and I I clicked on their links. now implementing Discord. I know

[05:27] don't know about any of you. If I'm paying for [ __ ] anything, I'm going to figure out a way to get a setup. Does that make sense? Does that make sense, guys? I like I I have a lot of empathy and I have a lot of worry that like

[05:40] somebody's going to do the workshop [ __ ] and they're going to be intimidated by Please figure it out. I'm telling you, it's going to be valuable. I'm telling you, it's going to be valuable. You know what I mean? If you're intimidated, um,

[05:52] now. the the value from trying to figure out how to do this is even if you aren't a part of those, I want you to watch something or listen to something and you seems to be working. I get a lot of comments from people in the VODs where

[06:08] watch them later on in the evening, throw me up on the big screen. Shout out if you watching on the VOD, you [ __ ] hung, handsome, healthy individual. hung, handsome, healthy individual. Case your dad for me. um if if people

[06:21] have been saying that they even get benefits from watching it and and that's awesome. That's the the value that we want to create. Yeah. Yeah. Uh can you explain why why you should not ignore YouTube? It's the best platform

[06:35] in the world. There's no other way to put it regardless of people's feelings they talk about. It is the number one platform in the world across the board. Now, can somebody leverage one over another because they've built something

[06:49] over there? Sure. And is it is it like switchable? No. Like, if you're killing it on TikTok, yeah, you might not automatically overnight be able to just switch to YouTube. But if you look at all the tools and options across the

[07:01] nothing that's competing with it right now. There I mean, there are things that are competing with it, but not every single tool and aspect. for every tool that YouTube offers. I I

[07:14] could give a caveat where a platform doesn't even have that. That's that means that as a tool set, if if we were look at platforms as toolboxes and not just a platform with a logo, you have more tools in a toolbox.

[07:27] You have more of them in there on YouTube than any other platform right now. That's my problem with Twitch and Kick. They don't have tools. tool. So does Tik Tok. So does Instagram. So does Facebook. So does

[07:43] YouTube. On top of that, some of these platforms have discoverability, they have vertical, they have integration with brands, legitimate integrations with brands, not the shitty advertised stuff that Twitch has. Um they have

[07:55] they have, you know, everything. It's it's insane. Um what's up, Tab Biggie? Why don't you just make a talent agency? I feel like you could make a hundredx more with all this knowledge you have. Uh, you want my honest answer? You want

[08:09] Uh, you want my honest answer? You want my honest answer? Because while I do focused and and I think you've seen this side of this and I know Scrap, I think you're you're looking up. Here's the reality. A lot of creators are [ __ ]

[08:23] lazy. They're they are self-centered. They know best. That's why it's extremely hard to work with them. It's ironic because I'm a creator. Um, and I do this at times, too. That's how I know it's the reality. it is. Uh I'll give

[08:37] you a prime example of why I I don't do this and why I don't do the creative this and why I don't do the creative agency side as well yet. We're trying to figure out things in the future to create a real service and a real

[08:51] product, it's not it's just not there yet. The reason being is the second you get people with their own habits and systems, they might have found success in it, but it doesn't necessarily it's they could be capping themselves from

[09:05] their current routine and ritual and habits, but it's working. So, they push back. Prime example of this, like just call it how it is. Look at Kick. The reason why Kick is in the state it is is because tell Eddie he's doing anything

[09:19] wrong. The reason why Twitch is in the state it is in tell tell the CEO of Twitch he's doing anything wrong. They get hundreds of thousands of viewers. They have people coming here and making money. It's hard to tell somebody when

[09:33] you're leaving [ __ ] on the table. Now, you could have that conversation with them and maybe you can uplift them, but at a certain point it's really up to the individual to actually make the changes if they actually believe in that idea.

[09:47] So, like case in point, I just talked to a buddy who's an editor for creators, and I I heard that he was working behind the scenes with a creator that I I really respect. I think from public image, he's got it together. He's very

[10:01] uh articulated. He's very organized. You come to find out that he's it's chaos. It's organized chaos within himself. He doesn't have real structure. He doesn't have a stream schedule, none of that. So where while I thought he did and the

[10:15] editor thought he did, he was actually one of the and he's very respectful. creator. I can't bash the individual, but the editor's like, I'll never work with that guy again because I thought the green flags were he was very

[10:28] He's very successful on them. From the like every other streamer. He goes live random hours. He'll overstream certain hours. He'll miss meetings. And then he he rushes last minute deadlines because

[10:41] he has money. that's not fun to work with. Um, and the the reality is out of a lot of successful creators, that is a lot of them, they a lot of successful creators that are generating multiple six figures a year, they work hard and

[10:56] grind in certain areas, but they don't realize they're lazy in other areas. realize they're lazy in other areas. Just that's just the reality. Yeah. So that that's why just to answer that. Um

[11:17] like when we talk about something I stay on focus on it. I don't I don't bounce in here. I mean it was a question that took uh took a lot to to talk about. You

[11:29] know what I mean? So, uh, is it okay to buy views and subscribers? I mean, it's it's it's a it's an offer that they have. It's not whether it's okay or not. have. It's not whether it's okay or not. It's whether it'll work. It won't work.

[11:43] It won't work. It will decimate your any statistics that you have on your channel. But it's okay to do it because YouTube offers it. No, it's okay to do it. Um, you was one of those creators. Just to be clear, you

[11:57] weren't one of those creators with me. Maybe like hypothetically you were. want to I do We're going to veer off so many times today, obviously, because my ADHD, but I want to try to compact these a little bit more so that way they work

[12:10] fluently. So, here's what we're going to be doing today. I'm going to turn down be doing today. I'm going to turn down this music. streaming moving in the next uh 5 years? uh going extremely mainstream and not in

[12:23] the direction that the current industry uh I think um articulates that it does. Uh I I don't even think people fathom creative ideas of how live streaming is

[12:36] going to evolve. Um they don't conceptualize it. It's the same people that um they don't realize that like a lot of Joe Rogan's success is because he live streamed. Like I talk about this a handful of times. at the end of the day

[12:51] like yeah he's he does podcast right and his personality and everything is that put him out there guys he live streamed that every day for how many years before he signed with uh with Spotify did he did they live stream on Spotify too when

[13:04] they did that uh like so this idea that live streaming is just this cringe Twitch culture this IRL um cuz like let's just be real the um cuz like let's just be real the Twitch culture is

[13:19] Twitch culture, for lack of better words, was just a whole bunch of retards that got views. Like, we were just all [ __ ] idiots throughout the years. We were just all idiots that showed up, played games, had banter in a live

[13:32] played games, had banter in a live format, and and you consume the content. Everybody thinks that the Twitch culture of [ __ ] is the entire live stream culture. I think the biggest thing that everybody keeps saying is the thing

[13:46] about live streaming is it's one of the most rawest purest forms of content interaction. And the thing is is content creators that can do that in their videos, they find immense amount of

[13:59] respect and success. I mean, you guys, I know every one of you guys can think of that when they hop on camera, they're just being them themselves. There's no don't feel like you're being read off a script. Like they just they just rip it.

[14:14] Your Sam Solix, your Casey Neistats, you know, they might articulate in different just you could just tell there's no like uh deeper narrative, I guess you'd say, but live streaming just exacerbates

[14:27] that. You feel like a uh I know when I watch streams, especially if they're interactive like this, I feel like I'm hanging out with the person. I'm getting the power with live streaming. And as more

[14:40] as more natural celebrities, athletes, musicians who are natural on camera and who are truthful start diving into it, they're going to see success. As entrepreneurs, business owners, um, creatives dive more

[14:55] into it. They're going to see more success. So, I think in the next 5 years, it's just going to be way more livereamed. Uh, I live stream is going to be way more live streamed. It like more generalized, more mainstreamed.

[15:07] It's going to be it's going to be used as a tool in so many different aspects. Um, with that, I think the whole culture that we know as live streaming is I don't know, maybe I'm wrong about that. I could totally be wrong. I just like,

[15:23] okay, let's take this as an example. Take this as an example. Who remembers Take this as an example. Who remembers the early YouTube days? weird, wacky uh shock factor days, the the pranks, the [ __ ] goofs and gaffs, right? And then

[15:39] [ __ ] goofs and gaffs, right? And then YouTube hit this huge 10 year window where a lot of that just got pushed to the side. People got tired of the fakeness. People got tired of trying to be manipulated to just watch something

[15:52] because somebody was doing something and I something stupid. And I feel like especially with the clip culture, the clipping culture. The it's it's not good that the only suggestion right now in how do you grow a live stream is

[16:06] clipping programs. Just try to be clip clip clip. Like why are we never asking what happens when you have a million people just mass-producing clips? You just have bloat. It doesn't the the whole point of like a

[16:22] doing well is like there's only a certain amount of people doing it so they can lead the pack by constantly being regurgitated to timelines. If you have it's vastly different if you have 10, 20, 50 people mass clipping to get

[16:36] their stream clips promoted to funnel people over to the platform versus you have hundreds of thousands of people doing it. I mean expedite expedite that. Let's just say on average the the average person that [ __ ] like think

[16:48] about this. Let's just do quick math on this. If the average person, let's just say hypothetically they can if the they're clip farming, they put out 10 they're clip farming, they put out 10 clips a day

[17:04] creators. Like you're just able to tie that to it. every day, 500 pieces of content, which like roughly would consume like [ __ ] two hours of your time if you were to watch every single clip from every person.

[17:19] That's off of 50 people. 500 clips just got posted just in the last 24 hours off of 50 people doing this. Now, now take this times 10 and say 500,000 people be successful because that's what's being advert advertised. You just had

[17:34] five million new clips today. Five million new clips. You don't have people that even have enough time to consume that much [ __ ] You just don't after a period of time. You you you flood yourself out. So like

[17:50] while all these people that are talking about cliff farming and these platforms that's what you want to do to get out there, you do this." I feel like that whole culture cuz like let's just be real, the people really taking advantage

[18:03] of the clip farming are a lot of like the IRL stuff, the IRL degeneracy. Some of them do have good taste in things. I know guys like Ice Biden Ice Poseidon put a try to put a little extra effort into how they organize things. I know

[18:17] Aiden Ross has been doing that, right? They invest into it. They make challenges. Uh what's uh Amar's husband name? He's been doing it more lately, too. Like it's it's real content curation, general ideas. So yeah, you

[18:31] you have a lot of people that are just like, I'll just be live, say outlandish [ __ ] do things to people, start fights, get be be a problem child, and I'll just mass post clips and funnel people over out of shock factor. If you

[18:46] people over out of shock factor. If you have a 100,000 people doing that, you you lose the touch of like being able to be the one to stand out. People will person to where they're like, I don't

[18:58] getting into fights. You know what I mean? Like, so to answer your question, cuz my brain goes in a different direction. In 5 years, I see that culture of current and live streaming getting pushed to the side by more

[19:14] honest, authentic people. Now, is that to say it's just going to die? No, of course not. I just think when some people stop finding success, they're going to stop doing it. Cuz a lot of people's intentions in this

[19:27] is to not entertain or actually be a content creator. They just want fame and money. They want it just as fast as possible. Once people can't maintain that and the trends die to get that, a lot of those people are just going to

[19:40] people that have been around doing it for 10 years that have adapted from They'll stick around and do do the [ __ ] Again, you know, your shout out to your the dude or not, that guy, he's just never going to stop. Like whether you

[19:53] like Vitality or Vitali or or not, he's just never going to stop. Like every transition, every trend, like he's just going to be around. Some of these guys are just monsters. You know what I mean? So feel like certain trending uh topics

[20:07] others down. Well, it's not even slowing others down. It's just like the trend advantage of it, and dies out. Like for example, right now the trend is everybody's fear-mongering AI. The reality is is you guys, everybody in

[20:21] here has a two to three year window to take advantage of AI and potentially become millionaires. Like you really could every everybody in this chat right has the same opportunity. Everybody for

[20:34] you're right, you're going to have you're going to have a window where AI not going to have the specialties over other people and you're going to miss else in the future will be taking advantage of it. So everything has a

[20:49] shelf life. I was just talking with the YouTube creator today. Just talking with the YouTube creator today about this. He has been taking advantage of the nighttime YouTube playlist. For those that don't know YouTube to try to

[21:02] compete, uh they've been introducing gaming streams into sleep playlist. For those of people that don't know what sleep playlists are, how many people just even show a hand in in here go to bed watching YouTube? I I always have to

[21:14] watch I usually put YouTube on when I go to bed in some aspect. Sometimes they're like, you know, ASMR like sleep streams and silent hiking [ __ ] Megan hates when I do the [ __ ] like watching like an Apex streamer or some or watching

[21:29] watching Peanut [ __ ] like that, but you go to bed, you leave your TV running, you're not doing [ __ ] Those like YouTube doesn't want your [ __ ] to just just suggest you to other channels and stuff. It's why you wake up watching

[21:44] another thing. Once they started putting games into that, creators have been streams, guys. This is how some people that I know that have 10, 20, 30, 40, 50,000 subscribers are currently making 10, $20,000 a month right now. How do

[21:59] great that you asked that. See, and this is always the point with all of this the playlist is because they showed up long before you did. Here's the reality. guys are getting showed up in the playlist is because when guys like

[22:14] myself, creators like myself 5 years ago were saying you guys should start did? They started. This is what I'm talking about. You're missing shelf lines. You You guys shouldn't even worry about these sleep playlist cuz if you're

[22:26] [ __ ] closed, man. You missed the ship. You missed the ship. This is the point of what I'm trying to say. You've [ __ ] waited. I know some of you guys were told to stream on YouTube years

[22:39] like, "Fuck, maybe I should have listened." And I and I want to be dad because yeah, you should have [ __ ] listened. I told you guys five What did you guys [ __ ] do? You kept going to [ __ ] Twitch like an idiot.

[22:51] Come on, man. What's up, wild? The people that listened to me 5 years ago and stuck with it before they made money, before they got [ __ ] viewers, routine. They're the ones getting paid for the results because they showed up

[23:04] always be. It's good to learn that because now while we talk about the next things, you should be it's it's going to be the same conversation with AI. I'm saying this about YouTube right now because we're talking about AI and some

[23:17] about AI. You're not going to do anything about it. In 5 years, you're became millionaires. You're going to be like, "How could I take advantage of it?" Too late. Ship's closed, man. Ship's [ __ ] closed, brother. It's

[23:30] gone. Now you're going to be on to the next thing. It guys, this has been around for [ __ ] ages, by the way. Alway something comes out, things just talked about this on the pod. Was it Joe Rogan or was it No, it was Gary

[23:44] Vee. He's like, "Brother, brother, THERE WAS A TIME where 80% of the world were everybody freaked out. And guess what of starting new tractor companies." Like it this always happens. There's always a

[23:57] shelf life for [ __ ] Um, this is why I was talking with that YouTube creator today and he's like I was like, "How's things going?" He's like, "So, I kept hitting crazy spikes. He started peing at 10 to 20,000 views in his YouTube

[24:11] streams." Of course, people call like [ __ ] You know, they come in, they is this is why I try to educate people on like the Bert Peanut [ __ ] Burnt hardcore. If you guys don't think the Burnt Peanut numbers are legit on on

[24:25] YouTube specifically, you are so delusional. YouTube is pushing the absolute horsecock out of that man right now. You guys don't understand the now. You guys don't understand the amount of millions of people that watch

[24:37] YouTube on auto and do not interact. Some of my biggest customers so far as don't even talk in my streams. Yet, they're willing to invest money into my streams. So, people will discredit the value of a of a viewer, but they're

[24:51] clearly valuable viewers, right? So, what this creator said that they've started to notice is drastically over the last couple weeks, views started dipping. He's like, he's like, I mean, I would typically even break 2 to 3K views

[25:05] told him, I was like, just a heads up, man. It's very crucial that you understand, and don't beat yourself up about this, but it's very crucial that you understand that you could have been a part of this major shelf life test

[25:19] period for the last 3 years as you've been doing the same thing, just showing up and streaming a specific video game at a certain hour. They inflated it. they're testing metadata in other areas. Just tier one. Um, I think the sad

[25:34] reality that a lot of us don't face is that everything in general, just like trends, uh, platforms, technology has a shelf life. Like guys, we do too. This is why it's so crucial when you have your big

[25:47] breaks, you should be prepared to monetize everything as much as possible and take it serious so you don't end up like some creators where you have all this [ __ ] momentum for a 6 12 month window and you overspend, you

[26:00] overindulge and you have nothing to look back on because it will end. It will end. It's it's a very small percentage of people that [ __ ] get past that and most of those people are actually willing to adapt. You look you look at

[26:12] example, most of the successful streamers you see today is because they people said they couldn't transition to something and gave them [ __ ] for it, they did it. It didn't matter cuz they were just doing it anyways. That was a

[26:26] very great answer to the 5-year question, by the way. Uh thank you. Thank you, my ADHD brother. Yeah, god damn it. I know. I figure like [ __ ] haven't even gotten into the meat and bones. All right, let's focus on this.

[26:39] So, as I was saying, today we are going to focus on showing you how I make clips in minutes. Now, obviously, this is going to take

[26:51] longer because I'm breaking it down. I'm going to be showing you Ducks, by the way. Thanks for the sub. I'm going to be breaking down how I have OBS set up to just bring something in. Surprise. I I got really nice cameras. Yeah. I don't

[27:05] set them up every time I [ __ ] record. I actually take a a lot of the quality I get from the camera I don't even utilize because I want to be efficient. being efficient. That's actually the point of clipping and clip farming is

[27:19] actually the efficiency and consistency of showing up and being active. So, I'm going to show OBS how I have it set up. I'm not going to tell you how to set [ __ ] up. You guys are grown ass adults. get inspiration from it, but

[27:34] figure it out yourself. It'd be a [ __ ] 15 hour goddamn stream if we were trying to break down how every person in every scenario can [ __ ] set because not everybody uses OBS. Some people use Mel, some people use stream

[27:47] elements. So, I'm going to show you guys how I have OBS set up, how I prioritize this [ __ ] I'm going to show you. We're going to create an idea in chat. I have make today. We're going to create an idea in chat today. I'm going to show

[28:02] idea in chat today. I'm going to show you the little bit of how to use AI to help in the assistance with it. I'm going to bring it into the editing software and I'm going to show you the the final product. Sound good?

[28:14] Sound good, guys? This is this should this is what I want to kind of start doing with the workshop Wednesday. Again, tactical Tuesday, it's about the the ideas, the thought process. Wednesdays, it's it's about the

[28:27] process. Wednesdays, it's it's about the action. the last 24 hours. Uh, you guys were [ __ ] dope people. Um,

[28:43] okay. Where did I say I would start off with this now? I got to figure out this is the only thing that sucks right now with what I have the way I have things set up because I have to switch scenes every single time. yada yada yada. Okay.

[28:57] So, this is going to be very muddy for you guys for a second. Um, so I'm gonna very confusing for a second. You're going to see a lot of me. I'm just warning you. Please relax. Please relax. So, get you guys over here. So, this is

[29:13] how my OBS is set up. Oh, it's going to start the [ __ ] the the mirror effect. So, for the long form, that's how my OBS is short set up. For the short form, um,

[29:25] I'm talking about. Like it's just going to make it challenging. All right. So you guys can still see that on OBS and a little bit of of the to where you can see it on T. I guess it's not really that big of a deal if

[29:39] you can't see the whole thing on Tik Tok. What's up, stranger? Hello. Hello. Long time no see. Uh okay. How do I do this? [ __ ] Um, should I just find a good middle ground to where you guys Tik Tok,

[29:53] do you guys understand that that's vertical over on the left side? we under the agreement there? Are we all locked into the same page?

[30:10] Okay. Okay. Good. Excellent. [ __ ] gentlemen. All right. So, break this down. So, this is my OBS. Now, this is where a lot of people are automatically assume, and this is why I always make the debate about the full

[30:22] full-frame cameras because you guys are you're pixel peeping. You have no idea especially the [ __ ] camera [ __ ] guru [ __ ] Um, so yeah, I have an FX3. I always get the excuse of, well, yeah,

[30:37] of course, [ __ ] looks good because of FX3 or [ __ ] full-frame camera. So, how this is currently set up A75 crop sensor lens because it is in an a because the A75 is in a USB

[30:52] in a USB output mode at 1080p. This is a downscaled quality straight out of the camera. You're not getting full frame camera. You're not getting full frame benefits. Essentially, the A75 at this

[31:05] benefits. Essentially, the A75 at this current point in time, all it is is a [ __ ] webcam with access for a lens. The sensor, it you're not using the full potential of the sensor, the dynamic range, the best ISO. You're not getting

[31:21] any of that right now. You are getting a condensed version. It's inc. It's a It's just so important to talk about this because the reality is because of this lens that I have on here, you can get this look with a $500 Sony camera.

[31:35] this look with a $500 Sony camera. That's the reality. $500 Sony camera. That's the reality. $500 Sony camera. So, USB out of the camera into the [ __ ] computer, right? I will not shut up. I'm I'm on I'm on topic. I'm

[31:48] cooking. I am giving away what they call free game shirt. You shut your [ __ ] mouth. Light is on to the left or the right of me to get the dramatic look. It's what gives me that drama look, right? Got a

[32:01] little couple lights back there. It's really not hard to set this up. This light only cost me it's a professional light and it only cost me like $160. So for the other people who like, "Oh, of course you got a $500 light." I don't. I

[32:14] actually don't have a $500 light. I bought a $160 light uh 7 years ago and I use it today. The only thing I changed with a softbox to be smaller. That's it. That's it. You're not using a fill light. No. Yeah, I know. Shock. Shock.

[32:29] Right. I I assume that's part of the meme because people will be like, you you're you're People will actually come to to come to my videos and they'll see lighting's off, man. You need a fill light on the left side." And what

[32:42] they're trying to trying to articulate is this. articulate a fill light on my left side to kind of bring out the detail in my

[32:54] face over here. Does it look good? Yeah. Is it necessary? Is it needed? No. Is it necessary for me to drink my own urine? No. But I do it anyways cuz I like the No. But I do it anyways cuz I like the taste of the sterile.

[33:12] argument out of the way. Guess what? Don't [ __ ] need it. Guess what? Don't [ __ ] need it. Okay. Yeah, I like I like I like the dramatic look. Gives me a tone. Gives me an essence. I like it. So, this camera is running straight into

[33:27] So, this camera is running straight into OBS. That's it. If I do the only thing I have added right here in my vertical source on A75, if I go to filters, don't know why that's in there. Is my L. That's it. So, this is what you get from

[33:42] the camera straight into the computer. I don't record natively. I don't want to a vertical. I don't want to have to sync up the audio every single time. I will I do it on certain videos. Sure. If there's like a reason to do it, right?

[33:58] Oh, by the way, am I still in focus on on uh There we go. There's a there's a if I find a reason to do it, I'll I'll do it. But outside of that, I want to make creating clips as easy as [ __ ] possible. Even if I'm

[34:13] recording clips. Even if I'm recording. So, all I do, I apply my L, which everybody can get at biggie.co. It's under my signature LUT pack, uh, the signature creator LUT pack. It's available right now. I have

[34:26] two L pack options. I have my legacy one, my old old LUTs that I use for Anybody vouch that I know a couple of you guys got bought it. You guys have been saying it's an awesome thing. Big dick energy. We love to see it. Give the

[34:40] the way, it's important to say you don't need my L. If you can find a cheaper L out there and you think it works for you, go get that [ __ ] L and you can put it on this camera, okay? You can put it in this scene. So, I have a vertical

[34:57] clipping scene and then I have obviously my my horizontal scene. Why? Oh my gosh. What is going on with with uh Tik Tok right now? It's like stuttery on Tik Tok, eh? Yeah. Well, that you know it's funny too

[35:10] scrap in my LUT pack when you purchase it I I encourage you please take the L colors that I have and [ __ ] with them. Make it yours. Make it yours. Make it yours. The The whole point of

[35:24] LUT packs, guys, isn't I need to get that guy's look. The whole point of LUT packs is how do I take the looks provided and I adjust it for my [ __ ]

[35:36] That that should be your idea. Loki, shout out big hung handsome man over there. Okay, so this is the OBS setup. Um, I

[35:48] Uh, I guess to break it down a little bit, this is this is like the deeper nuances to where it's like we can't open up these can of worms because somebody Streamlabs. They might not be working in OBS. They might have they might have the

[36:01] Streamlabs OBS. They might have Meld. But the general idea, your general goal is I want to be able to hit record button here or play back if for the last button here or play back if for the last 90 seconds and I can get a clip. So what

[36:13] here in a second I'll show you, you know, uh I'll put together how I would actually edit a video. How to apply the LUTs is in the files once you buy it. There's a there's a PDF that says installation guide. Um

[36:28] got a goddamn checklist. I'm just trying to [ __ ] rip it, boys. All right, so I think we Is there any questions to this right now that could be answered? Not specific platform? Any general questions here? Like a like

[36:45] why do this or like do you guys understand so far? We following along here, you handsome devils. Once you learn OBS, you won't look back. I'm looking back once once Mel allows LUTs. I'm I'm over to Meld.

[37:00] Uh, audio is a deeper nuance. My audio is set up to be able to separate audio tracks. That's a whole another convers that it's it'd be a nightmare to talk another half hour conversation. It's going to be bad enough as is.

[37:15] It's going to be bad enough as is. Uh, why don't you use virtual camera on Tik Tok so you don't have to mess with Tik Tok studio? I do. This is my Tik Tok studio. I'm using a virtual camera uh out right now. What are you talking

[37:29] about? You [ __ ] demon. You seaman demon. What do you mean? It's literally demon. What do you mean? It's literally what I do.

[37:44] then I could do the scene trans if I just You're saying if I output the source of vertical, then I could do scene transitions from OBS. actually ask you guys something. Maybe you guys can help me out with something.

[37:59] We're always learning. We're always Hello. We're always learning. Is I cannot for the [ __ ] life of me figure out a way with the ADOM plugin

[38:12] out a way with the ADOM plugin to have Stream Deck scene switches. Am I [ __ ] stupid? Yeah, you can use the lots on Tik Tok Yeah, you can use the lots on Tik Tok Studio. It's in the installation guide.

[38:29] Am I stupid? Can somebody help me out with that? How? How do I have them work simultaneously?

[38:45] Wait, I did stutter. Am I having problems on TikTok? you trying to figure out? I can for the for the life of me, I can't figure out

[38:57] how like if I want to swap from a transition in OBS vertical, for some reason, I can't set that up in in uh on my stream deck. my stream deck. I can't I can't figure it out.

[39:11] It won't show me my vertical sources in OBS. start coming every or you got to start you guys got to start going to other

[39:26] places if you're having stuttering issues on I I'd actually argue too that I'm not trying to push you off Tik Tok watch where you want to watch maybe it's just convenient to watch on Tik Tok right now on my website biggie.co every

[39:39] link where we're live YouTube twitch kick is available if you want to watch the full version so that way you can really get deep inside of my [ __ ] Um, with Streamlabs you can bind pages. I DON'T USE STREAMLABS THOUGH MORE.

[39:55] [ __ ] me running. You can't use transitions on the vert side. Doesn't give me an option. Maybe my shit's just janky. Have you tried to ask G chat GBT?

[40:20] We're not even worrying about this right now. We're not even worried about this. point. Just shut the [ __ ] up. All right, moving on. So, I think we have everything else in O like the OBS clip questions are good though, right? You

[40:35] questions are good though, right? You guys understand OBS now, right? Go to ADOM scenes vertical, rightclick, and link.

[40:55] Come here, BUDDY. WHAT THE [ __ ] SEE HOW EASY THAT WAS, CHAT? I don't need no [ __ ] chat. GBT. Holy [ __ ] Well, there you guys go. the point of these workshop Wednesday. Name another place where you can get top

[41:10] quality [ __ ] entertainment. a group of hungy viewers. Okay. Uh, real talk and learn [ __ ] Name another place. I'll

[41:22] challenge you to find that. Thank you, Spider. I appreciate that. All right. point. Well, there you guys go. If you want to be able to even conveniently bind your sources in OBS to where you can record and clip the same [ __ ] and

[41:36] swap fluently, there you go. Um, I also got to figure out a way. For some reason, uh, my [ __ ] is broken right now, so I have to click the ADOM [ __ ] and it buffer. I know there's a way to bind both. I just gota I'm too lazy to set it

[41:50] up ever since I set up my single PC. So, all right, moving on. So, that's my OBS setup. Uh, you don't have to do this in OBS, guys. You can do this in Mel. You can do this in in Streamlabs. The whole point being is I try to set up a scene

[42:04] uh a recording software on my computer to where I can directly either clip clips or record clips already in a vertical format because I'm telling you right now guys pro the whole point of the streamer and creator blueprints you

[42:20] will learn. Anybody that bought them vouch for me everything is about process of elimination. If you make it harder than it needs to be, you are going to complicate it. You are going to complicate it. We are a species of

[42:36] dopamine riddled [ __ ] idiots who have the attention span of a [ __ ] the attention span of a [ __ ] squirrel. Okay? The the second something takes too long, we get off track so fast. The whole point of doing this is

[42:50] to be able to where it's so short you don't even have time to to wonder or question. This is why also too it's crucial to set up a stream environment, a creator environment and have the shot and be ready. The reason why Casey

[43:05] Neistat, guys like that were able to create so much [ __ ] every single day for were traveling and whatnot, they had their systems and routine to get the shots and and the the B-roll and whatnot, but when they came to the

[43:18] studio, everything was articulated. He had a sitdown shot. He had his editing area. He had a storing area storage area. It was a little chaos organized, but it was still [ __ ] organized for him. It's crucial that you guys do that.

[43:31] It's crucial. Again, these are what the blueprints are [ __ ] all about. These are what the blueprints are all about is setting up this [ __ ] that works for you, your personal lifestyle. You have family, you have a job, get started with

[43:46] that first. It'll it'll [ __ ] save you so much so much [ __ ] in the future. So, we have that set up in OBS. Again, I'll show you guys the scene there. Um, I'll set up the the transition [ __ ] later. For now, we'll have to do this. Uh, so

[44:02] looking at Hung, what's up, brother? So this again, this is the setup. So this is how I'm able to just directly I got to go I'm going to record something. Boom. I sit down. I can hit record in vertical audio synced vertical setup.

[44:15] Lighting setup. My color is baked into the footage. I don't need to add it in [ __ ] uh in uh Premiere because it looks [ __ ] fine here. Set up 70% of

[44:28] the shot. So, the rest of everything is [ __ ] like uh uh 15% editing, 15% posting. That's it. So, do you have a a tutorial on YouTube for

[44:40] this? It this is going to live on you. For all the Tik Tok people, I know I'm dragging on with [ __ ] This will all live over on on YouTube. So, I keep all my VODs from these streams public on YouTube. So, now next what we're going

[44:53] to do is we are going to come up with an idea. Okay, you guys are going to help back on the other side so I don't have to deal with this [ __ ] Okay, we're

[45:05] are going to be one of my [ __ ] annoying comments that I get on social media. So, the style of video we're going to reactionary. It's going to be a comment one. Those usually do well on my [ __ ]

[45:19] just because of my takes. I'm going to show you guys how this the process h how I do this. Uh, but I will give you a deeper nuance to this. So, a couple people I've already tried to like call it out and they're like, "Is this even a

[45:32] real comment?" No, it's not. It is an AI generated comment from a real comment. That's usually how I go with those. So, what I typically do is somebody that act question. Like, it was more of like give us a setup tour. I'm like, "Okay, I'll

[45:47] just use their comment." But for the most part, the people that just comment the stupid [ __ ] where I can make like a or you know just the deeper stuff where I can make a video responding to it, I just generate a AI version of that. How

[46:00] yet because some of these things are are like mom slayer 6ix9ine is is beyond me. Maybe that we're going to use that today actually. That's going to be the So the creator that the comment we're going to be responding to is moms slayer 69.

[46:15] Milslayer 69. That sound good? Milslayer69 is videos today. It's going to be a controversial take. It's going to be a controversial take. It's going to be a why do you do this [ __ ] jackass? So,

[46:28] step one, actually, let me open up AI. So, step one, what are we responding to today? What is a generalized com comment in my line of work and what we do where somebody would ask a question that needs an answer?

[46:43] That would make a good video. Let's start ripping some questions here, chat. Start participating here, [ __ ] I will say it every time. Best looking cam the most hung person that comes in here. I don't know. I say it every time. How

[46:56] do you get your vertical videos looks good on t looks good on TikTok? Wait, is that the question idea? Are you actually asking me this?

[47:09] How do you get your vertical videos to look so good? asking right now. I literally just went over that. By the way, you guys can all

[47:22] stream. Just a heads up. And you can scrub back. You can you can go back. got an idea. We got an idea. We got an idea.

[47:38] Okay, so hi, I'm bored. So, here's going to be the comment. Um, I I I got to lose thought. This is good. This is good. This is good. This is good. Good. Happy little [ __ ] accidents. God. Bob Ross, man. Bob [ __ ] Ross, shout out,

[47:53] man. By the way, I've been sucking. Hold on. I got to think about this. Uh, how so the the comments going to be, how do you get your you get your uh vertical videos to look so good?

[48:08] I upload in 4K and they look terrible. There we go. That's our That's our comment for the day. That's our comment

[48:21] for the day. That's the video we're going to make. Damn, this is deep. This is deep. This is deep. We're making a live This is deep. We're making a live tutorial on how to make a live vertical

[48:35] in minutes. And we're using the question of how do you make your videos look so of how do you make your videos look so good.

[48:57] getting raided. Yeah, this is deep. This is deep. We're doing a live tutorial on how to make clips in minutes. And the very question we're going to answer is how to make clips in minutes. Wait, did you guys

[49:09] hear that through the mic? Was it that loud? That was insane. It notices audio delay from his mouth? It's It's Tik Tok, brother. It's Tik Tok.

[49:21] Sorry. All right. So, that's going to be the question. Okay. Um, so we we'll answer that again essentially basically. Um, let me close this. Let me close this

[49:34] do another thing and I completely forgot about it. What was I What were we just talking about prior to that? God damn it. Veronoff. Veronoff. I'm not [ __ ] it. Veronoff. Veronoff. I'm not [ __ ] Peanut, guys.

[49:53] remember the name. Um, but I got the IM and cables on my website under the gear question. know, but I got a question before that and I wanted to answer it was. And for some reason, this the Stream Ninja thing, it only scrolls up a

[50:08] certain amount. I don't know why. Tik Tok streams are it sounds like the game is in a tube. Well, this this is what I'm talking about. You should not be guys, the whole point of this I'm I'm very against

[50:21] downloading clips. I'm very against it. Very against it. You should be Very against it. You should be optimizing your streamer [ __ ] to be able optimizing your streamer [ __ ] to be able to record natively from your PC. 100%.

[50:34] to record natively from your PC. 100%. 100%. should not be relying on chat to clip things for you. You should be doing it You're trying to get people to follow you. Don't rely on somebody else. You

[50:49] things that you're talking about. You got to be cognitive in that. So, you those situations you can be ready. Click of a button, boom, you have it. It's yours on your computer, ready to go. Ready to go. I use replay buffer even

[51:03] though it takes a little bit more. Yeah. So, here's my hot take. Here's my hot take of the day here. I'm recording this right now. This is a good thing. Here's my hot take of the day for streamers specifically in a world where you have

[51:16] to be live, create content, post content. You want to make that process content. You want to make that process as easy as possible for you. Do not rely on your community to take clips of your stream and don't download those shitty

[51:28] lowquality clips from your stream. Um, now the the cav what you should be doing is you should be setting up your OBS, your Streamlabs, your Mel to where you can clip vertical from your stream. The only caveat I get to this is, yeah, but

[51:42] only caveat I get to this is, yeah, but then it it slows down it. It lags my then it it slows down it. It lags my OBS. It lags my Mel. It lags my PC. Okay, so you have to optimize your settings. I'm telling you right now, the

[51:54] vast majority of people output on average the on average the vast majority of people output their stream settings more than they need to. They want to try to be more presentable in their in their stream. And there's no need. Most people

[52:10] are watching your streams, wait for it, at 720p. Yeah. Crazy, isn't that crazy? Crazy, isn't it? Most people watching your [ __ ] aren't even watching it at the

[52:23] 1080p that you're stressing about. Here's a here's a a a deeper hot take. Here's a here's a a a deeper hot take. You don't even need 60 fps. If you if your if your content is about your interaction with your community, these

[52:35] things are not necessary. So, if it makes your job easier in providing content to grow your brand, you should turn down from 60 fps to 30 fps and you should lower your stream quality from 1080 high bit rate to 90p or even 720p.

[52:52] You you should if that means that you can optimize your OBS and your streaming software to record at the same time. It's way more important. way more important that you take the job of marketing your your identity, your brand

[53:07] to make that process as simple as possible than trying to over complicate what your stream looks like while you're live. Cuz most people don't give a [ __ ] They don't give a [ __ ] man. I'm live right now to five different platforms at

[53:20] 30 fps. They don't give a [ __ ] dude. They don't [ __ ] care. They don't [ __ ] care. They don't [ __ ] care. Did I [ __ ] up buying an ultra wide monitor but wanting to stream uh wanting

[53:34] to stream create content? No, I'm doing that right now. Tailor, I'm running an ultra wide. Yeah, I'm I'm running on an ultra wide right now. Single PC, I got OBS on one side, I got the editing stuff on the

[53:48] I'm not going to lie. Uh but nonetheless, it works. So, moving on, ladies and gentlemen. Hello.

[54:04] Uh, hello. Dude, I [ __ ] hate Tik Tok Studio. I [ __ ] hate Tik Tok Studio. They just shut down my stream because of inactivity. They just shut down my stream because of

[54:17] inactivity. Do I look inactive to you guys? guys? Do I look inactive to you guys? Tik Tok, get your [ __ ] together, man. We're trying to run a multi-million

[54:30] dollar scam operation here. Giving [ __ ] information to creators. Lock it in. All right. So, let Tik Tok get back in here now. Well, I don't I know I have an idea what happened to Tik Tok. I GOT THEY SHUT DOWN MY STREAM

[54:46] BECAUSE THEY said I was inactive. They said I wasn't talking. said I wasn't talking. They shut down They shut us down. They I've never heard of that place. Lovely lady, though. Um,

[55:00] let's see. Now I got to add it back to [ __ ] chat. Jesus. Wednesday. [ __ ] running, man. I need to retire. I'm

[55:13] [ __ ] running, man. I need to retire. I'm washed up. right. Sorry, guys. Sorry. I don't know what happened, but everybody get back in

[55:25] here. We have our comment. We have our idea for today's video. Okay, so I showed you the setup. We have the idea. How do you How do you How do you get your vertical videos to look so good? I upload in 4K and they look

[55:41] good? I upload in 4K and they look terrible. man. I didn't even know I had this [ __ ] set up on Twitch. I That's I I I think

[55:55] they're taking 100% of the profits. Just a heads up. Pretty sure. all back in here, guys? Are we all back in here? Can we Can we get to get going

[56:09] in here? Can we Can we get to get going in this? Yep. Okay. Cool. Cool. All right. Let me get the the scenes switched over.

[56:22] direction. We have our creative direction today. I think it flows well. I think it will uh uh I think it will be na natural. Got to make sure that Tik Tok doesn't [ __ ] shut down again. Um so, shout out to the gentleman. I think

[56:36] it was actually I think he was just in here. Um so, the we're creating a video around me responding to how do you get your vertical videos to look so good? I upload in 4K and they look terrible. And then we'll create the response from

[56:52] this. So that will be the comment and that will be the hook. And the whole creative direction from this is to um Okay, first off, we'll do this. I'll show you

[57:06] how I do this. So I'll copy this. I say, "Hey, I need an image of a comment made "Hey, I need an image of a comment made that reads

[57:21] look so good? I upload in 4K. They look terrible. Um, terrible. Um, ma uh, please make the username say

[57:33] mil. Should I should I be more mature about this? I think see I like to make wild names because it elicits a response. yesterday to encourage somebody to respond.

[57:47] No, don't be mature. You got it. Thank you for your donation. $1.99 from Ducks. you for your donation. $1.99 from Ducks. Hung mansome man. Milslayer 69. Uh, please make the username say Milslayer 69 with a profile picture. What would a

[58:00] typical virgin What would a typical virgin's profile picture be? Oh, an Android logo. Yeah, with a profile picture of an Android with a profile picture of an Android logo.

[58:19] comment made that reads, "How do you get your vertical videos to look so good? Uh, I upload in 4K and they look terrible. Please make the username with a a picture profile of an Android logo. Don't over complicate it. I am going to

[58:36] be using this as an overlay. as an overlay. image to respond to the comment. image to respond to the comment. All right, so that's generating.

[58:50] Yeah. Yeah. You thought you guys were coming for clean professionalism, just straight to the point. You said you got [ __ ] ADHD brain, [ __ ] immature, loud, obnoxious. Welcome to Welcome to reality. And you know what? Hey, can

[59:04] A [ __ ] it's making it a white background. I think that's a deeper point. I think this is why the future of streaming is this. I think it is. I think like how many of you guys Oh, there we go. How many of you guys have

[59:17] watched a a live tutorial? It's very well put and it's great. It's very well put together for the watch time, the retention, and whatnot. It's very well turn people away because we're not just direct and we're getting to the point.

[59:30] this? It's new, right? It's something. It's refreshing. It's refreshing. Wait content live. Then it's going to be really good. All right. So, moving on with a profile picture. Okay. Okay. Um, do we do we want do you guys

[59:47] want me to show how I would utilize AI and and getting a creative direction or do you want me to rip how I would answer this in a moment and then showing you how I would cut out [ __ ] God, this is the only part that's going to suck today

[1:00:02] I'm gonna have to in front of you guys mess up words, repeat myself, but it's understand that we're doing that. I do this, too. Uh, serious question. Why do I post 4K videos but still get stuck at 200 views? I post on YouTube, it gets

[1:00:17] more. Uh, because you're getting introduced to what's called a give me shelf. Even the more videos you're getting on YouTube doesn't actually mean it's that many people that's introduced into it. How the vertical algorithms

[1:00:29] into it. How the vertical algorithms work in 2026 is they are layers of onions to see if people interact with your [ __ ] The platforms have to give you give me views. They're just views that they're going to throw out to

[1:00:42] people right off the rip. Those 200 views are not 200 viewers that are actually interested in your video. That is 200 people that Tik Tok is genuinously saying, "Let's give it a chance." If you're not getting more

[1:00:55] views, the video's bad. A lot of people will try to blame the platform and say, "Good video, wrong audience." If you just go into your analytics and you watch the hook hook watch time, you watch the retention watch time, you'll

[1:01:07] see when people are falling off. But the power of this is once you go into those analytics and figure that out, you can fix it. That's the good thing. You can say, "Oh, well, at that moment when the retention dropped off, I did something

[1:01:19] that maybe I shouldn't include into a video. I rambled on. I talked about my personal [ __ ] I got off topic. Now you know to cut it for the next video. So I had one video that hit 2.3 million and after I felt like I got shadowbanned.

[1:01:31] No. Uh so what happens is one broke through. The other ones didn't break through because they weren't as good of videos. It's I I in the world where everything's AI and

[1:01:45] and it seems like deeper complication. It's really that you hit the mark on one video, you're not replicating that to a tea. Now you might be replicating the video that popped off. So now you're just constantly trying to post. There is

[1:01:59] something about that video where the hook was good, the story was good and people watched for a reason. It's good to get into the analytics of that and see why. Not just be like, "Oh, I'll just keep making

[1:02:12] [ __ ] Call of Duty videos cuz that one Call of Duty video did well." There's Call of Duty video did well." There's Yeah, there's a psychology to it.

[1:02:25] What did we How did we say we want to do this? Do you guys want me to go more raw on this or do you want me to show how I would use AI to create a creative would use AI to create a creative direction? How you should be using AI?

[1:02:39] What does it mean when they stop to watch you is lower than 50%, but the beginning was 200% uh retention? What's bad here? Wait, so you're you're on you're talking YouTube, your stopwatch was 50%. But the

[1:02:54] retention you got was 200%. Is that what you're saying? Use AI. Okay.

[1:03:07] What's up, Dubs? Shout out to Dubs, man. Man, Dubs been around for 10 years. How long has the video been out? How soon are you looking at these the If you're talking a day, what's happening is is you don't have the best hook to get uh

[1:03:23] the best hook and stop factor to get people to stop scrolling. 50% also isn't bad. You want to get into like the 60 to 70% stop range. This is like when we like what are you doing to get somebody to stop scrolling and watch? So

[1:03:39] basically out of let's just say it's a,000 people. You got 500 people to stop. And the thing is, you got those people to [ __ ] actually watch, which is good retention. The the the confusing thing as to why it wouldn't be getting

[1:03:53] pushed more is either a it's too early. So, that could potentially be getting pushed more. If that's a longer video that's been uploaded for some time and it's got a good amount of views and it's got those stats, I'm I'm curious as like

[1:04:07] it had have been so astron the other 50% of the people had have been so astronomically fast and low to not lower that 200% average. How old is the video?

[1:04:19] How old is the video and how many views do you have? Maybe it's an old video and you just had like had good amount of views or doesn't have a good amount of views but it's been out for a while and it just died in its tracks.

[1:04:33] about yesterday. It's crucial that you got to you guys got to figure out all three. Guys got to figure out all three hooks, Guys got to figure out all three hooks, story, and interaction.

[1:04:45] Okay. Well, there's your problem. something something happened with the video that that so like that's that is not a good 1k views is kind of your give not a good 1k views is kind of your give me range. So, if I had to guess,

[1:04:59] it probably does. You got the people at the time to watch it, but something about your hook, the follow like people are people interacting with it like what's what's the health of like comments and interaction and [ __ ]

[1:05:20] into YouTube studio and asked this itself to explain it to you? If you if you go on desktop and go into YouTube Studio, it will tell you exactly why. Low interactions is probably what it is. So, you got people to watch. You got 50%

[1:05:33] chance. And of those 50% of the people that stopped and gave it a chance, you got them to watch, but you didn't give a good enough hook to get those other people to stop. You would have gotten that extra 20% of viewers to stop.

[1:05:47] YouTube says good hook. There you go. So, 50% isn't bad, but it's it that's where you can get enough. That's where you guys can get this on a YouTube short and then just flatline. And that's why cuz it's a recipe. They don't they don't

[1:06:01] want to just send it to another [ __ ] 20,000 people if 50% of them aren't even going to stop and interact with it. It it really is that picky on all these world where it's driven like this. I know Peter McKinnon just made a video

[1:06:15] play ball by this. Okay. But where the caveat to that is is he also says I analytics and I don't get the metrics. It's the world we live in. So whatever

[1:06:28] retention. You didn't get a good stop. You didn't get people to stop and and and uh and hook into that. You could re-edit that, by the way. You could re-edit that with a better uh uh uh hook. My CTR is 5% uh and the stop rate

[1:06:41] hook. My CTR is 5% uh and the stop rate is 51%. Uh, wait. CTR, that's long form. Like you're talking about your channel average is 5%.

[1:06:53] Yeah. Any of my shorts that do well, the stop rate is like 65%. Meaning like that's usually where I can see that like that's usually where I can see that it's going to grow over time.

[1:07:08] You guys said AI. All right. Here we go. Let's go. Here's how we do this. Um, I So, how I would typically do this, I'm help you guys. How I would typically do this is I would make a rough kind of

[1:07:25] structure script myself right now. I would input it in there. I would take critiques. I would use some, I would not use some. Does that make sense? I would use some, I would not use some.

[1:07:38] We can also go down the route of let's see what AI can bring us in this. You guys want to go that route to kind of also take advantage of AI a little bit in this and then show how adapt with that like what I would actually type to

[1:07:53] AI to help me with this. Okay, we'll go that route. All right. Um, how do you get your verticals to look so good? I upload in verticals to look so good? I upload in 4K and they look terrible. Um, help help

[1:08:06] 4K and they look terrible. Um, help help me put together a vertical short video

[1:08:20] to this. Uh, by now I've had so many conversations with chat GBT that it it like has a sense of like my humor. It it it's read off of my scripts, the if it suggested me to do something, I'm going I I I would say now I'm going to

[1:08:34] I'm going to say [ __ ] here or do this here. So, I built that relationship. It sounds so weird, but this is why it's important to be utilizing this now say, you'll even see it's going to say here in a second like, "Oh, oh, Bigg E

[1:08:47] vibe." Uh, so help me put together a short video in me responding to this uh short video in me responding to this uh this comment. Uh, I want to make it me

[1:08:59] this comment. Uh, I want to make it me and Punchy. You know how I am. and Punchy. You know how I am. I will drop an Fbomb if need be. Um I will drop an Fbomb if I need be. Uh if

[1:09:14] I will drop an Fbomb if I need be. Uh if need be. Uh but my goal from this is I want to uh first off first off explain

[1:09:30] first off cuz I might put it in that order. But the goal from this is I want order. But the goal from this is I want to explain that to explain that my verticals are actually super easy to

[1:09:47] make. Uh because uh actually here here here see I'm thinking in my head how I would script type this out to where how you guys could help with your content. I think

[1:10:01] that's more valuable way to do it, I guess. So, it's [ __ ] confusing me because you typically I just go down the line and I I script it out myself. I I would give the talking points myself and then I just ramble ramble off the

[1:10:14] talking points. Uh, but my goal from this is I want to explain that I don't this is I want to explain that I don't even stress about 4K because most even stress about 4K because most vertical content is consumed in mainly

[1:10:31] vertical content is consumed in mainly 1080p or hell even 1080p or hell even 720p.

[1:10:52] then I just then in short detail I want to explain that the reason my shots look good is because look good is because of the lighting my environment. ment

[1:11:09] camera settings. Oh my god, I missed. Oh Jesus. Oh Jesus. Camera settings

[1:11:23] see what they come up with. See how much I agree with this. All right, this is a I told you this is a perfect Biggie style vertical because it hits real creative problems and lets you flex expertise without sounding like a

[1:11:35] expertise without sounding like a lecture. SHUT UP. [ __ ] it. biggie style. How do you get your vertical uh you all right? First off, stop stressing about 4K verticals. That's actually a pretty good line. Uh

[1:11:50] most people watching your content uh uh I'm going to disagree with that line. go uh so here's what I start to do. I start to put it together in here. All right. So, first off, stop stressing about 4K videos. Um

[1:12:03] this is a problem creators. uh usually make. Uh the reality is most

[1:12:17] the reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. Um don't even watch in 4K. Uh most of that is getting watched in 1080 or 720. I like that line. Uh the reality is most

[1:12:34] people don't even watch in 4K. Most uh reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. I don't like the the repetition of most. It'd be annoying to say in that, right? Uh how could we reward word this? Any suggestions? Reality is most

[1:12:48] this? Any suggestions? Reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. people don't even watch in 4K. They're typically watching in 1080p or they are typically watching in 1080p or hell. I I like I

[1:13:03] like the line that I said earlier or hell even 720p half the time. hell even 720p half the time. Okay. Um

[1:13:17] this video video you are watching me on is you are watching me on is recorded in 1080.

[1:13:35] punchy line. Nice little punchy line in Oh, you guys can't even see. Oh, [ __ ] me running. Tik Tok probably can. Can you? Yeah, Tik Tok can. Uh, sorry. Sorry. Sorry to the YouTube side. Sorry to the YouTube side. Um, all right. Uh, the

[1:13:49] to do with resolution. That's a good line. Uh, with resolution, it's lighting, environment. good section. I'm just going to use what AI give me there. Uh,

[1:14:06] AI give me there. Uh, that's it. Um, Resolution isn't the magic trick. A good setup is.

[1:14:33] doesn't fix bad lighting. Oh my god. 4K doesn't save bad footage. I I like I like the first one. I like the first one. I like the first one. Let me get rid of this [ __ ] loser.

[1:14:59] there's no need for the deeper nuances. This is actually It's very good that you say that. Why would you mention that? There you're you are overstressing the obvious at that point. That's just it's just you're talking you're trying to put

[1:15:12] together extra words in your your story board that have nothing nothing uh to do with it. Nothing to do with it.

[1:15:27] What's What's the point? What's the point? What's the point of saying that? Resolution is the magic trick. A good setup is boom.

[1:15:39] setup is boom. LEAVE YOU WITH A OH, A [ __ ] BAR.

[1:15:53] resolution isn't the hack to a good look. Oh, bars. about? What are we talking about? God, I'm so nervous about the next part where

[1:16:05] I actually have to [ __ ] do it. Like, I'm [ __ ] not like people aren't I'm [ __ ] not like people aren't watching me. How do [ __ ] like when they're live? [ __ ] man. That's a lot of pressure to

[1:16:21] perform while you're live. It's kind of crazy. Respect, man. Respect. crazy. Respect, man. Respect. Honestly. All right. What I'll typically do sometimes is I'll hit enter. It will it will try to

[1:16:34] correct me. This is already really strong. It needs tightening word fixing. I'll see if it I'll see if it is. Problem creators make for themselves. for themselves. That's actually a good fix. The reality is most people aren't

[1:16:46] even watching in 4K. They're you usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half the time. In fact, this video you're watching me on right now is recorded in 1080. By the way, I'm doing the [ __ ] that I do in the thing. I'm [ __ ]

[1:16:59] flow. If it doesn't sound like me, I I I [ __ ] I flip it off. Uh the reason my videos look good has nothing to do with resolution. It's lighting, environment, camera settings, and the L that I use. Should I do a little cell plug in there

[1:17:15] or should I just say and my color L that I made? Ooh, cuz then maybe somebody will want to look for the color L and they can convert going on my website. That's it. Resolution isn't the hack for a good video. A good setup is.

[1:17:27] Resolution isn't the hack for a good set video. A good setup is. I for a good set video. A good setup is. I don't like that for a good the uh a productive setup. Nah, that's that's lame.

[1:17:49] You don't monitor the chat much and some crazy [ __ ] is in here. Why? What are you talking about? I I I just banned that guy if if that's what just banned that guy if if that's what you're talking about.

[1:18:09] If you're nervous about Tik Tok and and like you think it's like uh uh like I have to like overstress about it. Like don't stress about it, guys. It's not that big of a deal. Um resolution isn't the hack to a good

[1:18:23] video. The setup is. There we go. The setup is Oh, [ __ ] Here we go.

[1:18:40] right. So, god damn it, dude. I [ __ ] hate this god damn it, dude. I [ __ ] hate this part. I mean, I I banned him. Oh, you're saying consider a Tik Tok mod? I read

[1:18:56] that as consider Tik Tok being a mod. Like, so like they're watching. in at the literally the right time. We literally was just looking for an idea

[1:19:11] to rip this while we were alive. Okay, here we go. Here we go. I gotta turn off my I got to turn off this.

[1:19:31] kidding. The only part I'm nervous about just cuz I got to like [ __ ] up in front of you guys and like I don't know. Um, so in this particular situation though, what I'll say is

[1:19:45] to make this easier for me and make it flow naturally, um, is stupid, but like together this thing that was obviously generated from a real conversation,

[1:19:58] right? Uh, who was that? Fat [ __ ] energy. Fat [ __ ] energy. Uh, Scooch with energy. Fat [ __ ] energy. Uh, Scooch with the 27 months. Appreciate you. So, um, the 27 months. Appreciate you. So, um, stay on topic. So yeah, you you guys

[1:20:11] seen it live. We created something that we What's up, Chris? We created something from a real question. I've taken something that somebody asked me. I generated an idea. I'm making it as easy as possible to where I can just

[1:20:24] come in here, hit record, grab it from OBS, and we'll throw it into the editing software. Um, I've utilized the said question question and we have made a funny way to deliver

[1:20:37] and we have made a funny way to deliver potential interaction with the mil slayer 69. Like, oh, look at the the person's name. Like, it's potential that somebody would respond, right? It's potential that somebody would respond.

[1:20:50] Um, so in this moment, once I have the general idea, once I have the creative direction, once I know where I want to go with it, what I start to do right now is I envision a person that actually

[1:21:04] needs this answer or or or is actually debating an idea with me. Like, you guys with something and I'm like, "Your [ __ ] mentality is so off." I go to like a place where I imagine that. Does

[1:21:18] that make sense? Hello. There we go. There we go. Okay. Are we good, guys? Chat just like stopped, but it's moving on Tik Tok. Is it like

[1:21:33] but it's moving on Tik Tok. Is it like catching up? right now? No views at all. I have no idea. Uh idea. Uh my my overlay chat is not moving while

[1:21:47] the other ones are moving. Okay. Yeah, we're good now. Uh I I have no idea what the views on TikTok are. No idea. Okay. So, I'm

[1:21:59] setting up the scene, setting up the shot here. So, what I'm going to do in this is because it's a comment reaction, I'm going to open up the hook as if I'm reading it off of my phone, right? That's going to be the uh

[1:22:14] Oh my god. Well, [ __ ] yeah. Um, that's going to be the the like hook reaction. Oh, what's he reading? Who's he commenting about? Now, the particular situation, I'm trying to adjust where I'm going to put the the

[1:22:28] in this one is I'm going to start off low and I'm probably going to put the comment right here. Okay. So, grab my notes that I just we just put this notes that I just we just put this together. Here we go. Now, I'm just I'm

[1:22:41] recording right now in OBS where it's picking up my mic. It's got my color. It's got the L. It's got everything that you just that that you just seen. Now, start off I I don't think I'm going to read the comment. I'm going to start off

[1:22:55] think that's a good hook. I I'm going to get a little mixture of all right first idea of a general feeling of like what's he about to say? What's what's about to he about to say? What's what's about to happen? And and the comment also using

[1:23:10] good leverage. So, here we go. God, I [ __ ] overexlain [ __ ] Uh, I'm going over. Here we go. All right. I'm just going to pretend that you guys don't exist for a little bit. Please [ __ ] off. [ __ ]

[1:23:30] This is so [ __ ] This is so tough to do live, not going to lie. Okay. it's so important to [ __ ] pick the person. All right, I'm going to let it

[1:23:45] rip. All right, first off, stop stressing about 4K and vertical videos. So, there's a good line. Now, I could decide if I want to do that again. Uh, I didn't sound too that didn't actually sound too fake, right? That didn't sound

[1:23:58] sound too fake, right? That didn't sound too too red off a script. I I hate the feeling and tone of All right, first off, that felt good. Okay, cool. Um, this is a problem that lots of creators make for

[1:24:13] themselves. The reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. So, I'm going to have a little break hands in the same place. They're usually watching in 1080p or they're they're

[1:24:26] usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half the time. Okay, good. We're flowing. In fact, this video you're watching me on right now that I'm recording while I'm live is recorded in 1080.

[1:24:42] Good. We're flowing. This sounds good. This is good. This is good. The reason my videos look good has nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting, the environment I set up around me, the camera settings I have,

[1:24:54] and the fact that I added my own L to it. that's too aggressive. That's it. And that's it. Resolution isn't a hack

[1:25:08] And that's it. Resolution isn't a hack to good video. The setup is I mean, COME ON, GANG. COME ON, MAN. TOTAL recording time while

[1:25:21] talking to you guys, less than two minutes. Come on. If that doesn't deserve a lip pouch, I don't know what does. I don't know what does. Come on does. I don't know what does. Come on now. Come on. Just came a little bit.

[1:25:35] now. Come on. Just came a little bit. Prove it. PERFECT. There we go. Took two minutes to record.

[1:25:49] back and forth with you guys, but realistically, like I mean, let's say together in I think five minutes without you guys being here and me asking you that. All right, let's move over to the editing software. And guys, remember

[1:26:04] editing software. And guys, remember now. make very clear, guys. If if money is tight or anything, I'm not insinuating that with you or it's not the right time. You got plans to do soon. Um,

[1:26:18] away, man. Buy them at at your convenience, man. I'm not I'm not They're going to continue to be there. Let it [ __ ] rip. All right, so hold Let it [ __ ] rip. All right, so hold on. I think I I think I need

[1:26:35] recorded directly from OBS, this is automatically in my vertical file under uh this goes under recording. So, vertical um today's the fourth, right?

[1:26:47] vertical um today's the fourth, right? 34. I already have a project started in the music here so that way we can actually listen. So, how I record, I do two separate tracks. I I hate the feeling and tone. Beautiful. Uh, okay.

[1:27:02] got one se that extra that I'll do. I have two separate tracks, though. So, that way I if if an alert goes off, if music comes in, I have them separated. So, all I do right away is I personally unlink it. I I drag it up.

[1:27:16] >> All right. First, oh my gosh, that sounded a little little [ __ ] made. I'm the hell was that? That was a little voice crack. And then I link them back again. Okay. And then I'm going to zoom out here so that way I can see uh the

[1:27:29] graph. You guys can't see half of this [ __ ] Okay. Well, that's good. Um let me go up with this. How's that look? Is that better? Is that better for the the

[1:27:41] full uh the full few full view people? All right. I forgot too. The first thing that I am going to do is I'm going to go into Photoshop. Um remember that comment we generated in AI? We're going to go make a uh we're

[1:27:56] going to go cut that out and turn it into an overlay. So, what I do, copy into an overlay. So, what I do, copy image, go to Photoshop, new. Boom. Create. Once you copy an image, it's going to it's going to uh

[1:28:12] I'm going to make it into a boxy form. So, what I do, just create a quick layer here. Hit that [ __ ] center. God damn it. Oh, Jesus Christ. This is like finding the magical clitoris. Come here. Come here. Gotcha. All right. And I'm

[1:28:29] going to highlight that. Ctrl J. I'm going to take this. I'm going to do uh drop shadow and an inner glow. Just subtle. Just a subtle, guys. Just a subtle little one. And then we're going to go to export. Save for video. Can you

[1:28:45] back in the day? We're going to go to PNG 24. I'm going to save the output PNG 24. I'm going to save the output into my pictures as 3.4 comments overlay. Boom. That is made now. So, what I'm

[1:28:59] going to do that is on the back burner. So, now we chop up. Now we chop up. Now we chop up. Sounds so [ __ ] scripted. This is why it's so IMPORTANT TO [ __ ] >> SHUT UP. STOP STRESSING ABOUT 4K. All right. First off, stop stressing about

[1:29:12] 4K and vertical videos. >> Oh man, am I peaking audio in that? >> All right. First off, stop stressing about 4K and vertical videos. No, it >> Could decide if I want to do that again. Uh, I think it sounded pretty good,

[1:29:25] right? That felt good. Okay, cool. A problem that lots of the reality is I knocked that off. >> This is a problem that lots of creator. >> about 4K and vertical videos. This is a problem that lots of creators make for

[1:29:41] >> Okay, moving on. >> The reality is most people >> The reality is most people >> Okay. Boom. By the way, if you notice uh some of the you might be new to Premiere and some of the things that I'm doing,

[1:29:53] doing that so fast?" I highly advise you guys go check out a video or even chat GBT shortcuts. Uh shortcuts in Photoshop, shortcuts in Premiere about 4K and vertical videos. This is a problem that lots of creators make for

[1:30:07] themselves. The reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. Break zoom there, but I want to have my hand. They're usually watching in 1080 That's why I did that. >> They're usually watching in 1080p or

[1:30:21] they're they're usually watching. >> I had to fix that one. that? >> Even watch in 4K. They're usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half the time.

[1:30:34] the time. >> Boom. God [ __ ] bars. >> In fact, this video

[1:30:46] even 720p half the time. In fact, this video you're watching me on right now that I'm recording while I'm live is recorded in 1080. >> Good. This is good. This is good. The reason my videos look good has nothing

[1:31:00] to do with 4Ked in 1080. The reason my videos look good has nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting the environment I set up around. What's up, Riley? Riley is actually 5'4, guys. He lied.

[1:31:16] Premiere. >> Recorded in 1080. The reason my videos look good has nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting, the environment I set up around me, the camera settings I have, and the fact

[1:31:29] that I added my own L to it. Oh god. Get a little subtle hint there to go check out my L pack available on biggie.co. Make sure you guys go snack it up today. Um, what's your thoughts on OBS? That's what I have set up. Um, so Riley, if you

[1:31:43] little late. So today's, uh, so it's today's workshop Wednesday and, uh, down the whole breakdown. How I have OBS set up, how I am direct cam into OBS, have the L ready to go. So that way when we sit down, boom, we just knock it out.

[1:31:59] That's That's how I produce. >> WE'RE [ __ ] COOKING. That's it. Okay, that's it. >> Okay. Boom. Bars. That's a better one.

[1:32:11] to it. And that's it. Resolution isn't a hack to good video. The setup is

[1:32:23] Drake in my head right now. Just some Drake in my head right now after that bar. I'd totally play it on stream, but I get demonetized. All right, that's it. Um it's a 35 second 35 second video. 35 second video. Um so next is let's let's

[1:32:38] get the the movement going. And this is the the deeper nuances and to me um there is a bit of a psychology that if you keep things flowing and and you you then if you have to have cuts it it helps with the uh it helps with like the

[1:32:53] retention. This is just a psychology thing. It's not necessarily needed. It has become part of my habit. So I use it. Okay. So I use it. So what I do and this is how I do most of my videos to make it easy. Um so this is one clip. So

[1:33:06] I go to my effect controls here. I do a I go to my effect controls here. I do a 111% zoom. I do a 120% zoom. I'm picking each clip and I'm going deeper into the clip. So then instead of it just being

[1:33:19] this. >> About 4K and vertical videos. This is a problem that lots of creators make for themselves. The reality is most people even watch in 4K. They're usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half

[1:33:34] the time. >> And then I'm going to do uh 111. And further and I'll show you how I crop out and the So we'll do 111 on that and then and the So we'll do 111 on that and then I'll do 140 144 on this cuz it's like

[1:33:47] you know super zoom that I added my own L to it and that's it. Resolution isn't L to it and that's it. Resolution isn't a hack to boom boom. Um demonetize video. Yeah. Yeah. Vaude VOD would go demonetized. All right. So now you know

[1:34:00] step further. What I'm going to do is I'm going to do uh pan pan outs. So I'll go 109 on this scale. This is deeper [ __ ] I I know like some of you guys won't keep up with this, but for people that know the editing software, this is

[1:34:12] >> First off, stop stressing about 4K and vertical videos. vertical videos. >> Okay. Uh and then over scale. way, and do this easier. Just a heads up. I I I know that. I know you can.

[1:34:26] It's just this is my workflow. This is where I argue the things where people are like, "Dude, you could [ __ ] if it doesn't actually save me a [ __ ] ton of time, I just don't care." >> The reality is most people don't even

[1:34:39] watch in 4K. Use that. liking this? Is this a good uh is this a good f uh first episode of uh workshop

[1:34:53] good f uh first episode of uh workshop uh Wednesday?

[1:35:05] I'm going to do I'm going to do 104 on that and then I'm going to go in 109 at the start of this so that way you can see the transition but it's subtle. Then that's going to be a super slow pan out.

[1:35:17] going to be live on YouTube. >> Is recorded in 1080. The reason my videos look good has nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting, the environment I set up around me, the camera settings I have, and the fact

[1:35:31] that I added my own L to it. And that's it. Oh my god. Oh, is that it? [ __ ] loser. Shut up. You You guys would actually be shocked actually like normal [ __ ] that I do while I'm doing this

[1:35:45] while I'm doing this lot to it. And that's it, right? I do actually do that. I'm not even kidding. I'll be like I'll just like slam myself. Shut up, [ __ ] idiot. Shut up, [ __ ]

[1:36:02] >> Okay. I I I had a conversation with somebody and the potential of a Disney I probably shouldn't take that. >> Video the setup is >> boom bars. All right. So now, uh so that way we're not constantly just watching

[1:36:17] it over and over and over and over and over again. Let's get into what I would do with the So, now what I'm going to do is going to add the the common overlay. So, I'm going to uh Did I Wait, did I title this wrong? 3.4.

[1:36:32] title this wrong? 3.4. I did 2.3. Why did I do 2.3? What the [ __ ] How did you guys allow me to do that? What are you guys doing, man? Mhm. I think it's just like a fun thing to do. Like, I always say if you can't

[1:36:45] laugh or mock your own [ __ ] brother, come on. Don't take yourself too You're not that important. So, okay, here's a here's a deeper thing that I I do include captions just because it's just been something I've done and it's

[1:36:59] just part of my routine and I and it works for me. I actually don't know. There's no research into this. I haven't really like tried it tried it. It's just part of my habit. But the thing is, if I have a hook like this, this is a great

[1:37:11] hook. Listen. All right. First off, stop stressing about 4K. All right. First off, it's a good punch and then it's like a curiosity of like, wait, first off, what? Let me read the comment while I'm here. I don't want captions on this

[1:37:26] part. I don't I want the all right first off to get them to do be to be a stop off to get them to do be to be a stop factor and then I want the mil slayer so good? I want them reading that. I want them reading that.

[1:37:39] >> First off, stop stressing about 4K and vertical videos. This is a All right. to show you guys because this is how you can al also utilize it for uh AI. So, what I go is I go to text, I create uh captions from transcript. I go to

[1:37:53] caption preferences. I turn down uh to about two on the uh minimum minimum minimum duration in seconds about 22 in the uh maximum length in characters. I

[1:38:05] hit single line transcribe and create. It's going to take all the words. It's botches it. It's okay. It's okay. We'll deal with that when time comes. Deadly hung handsome man. How we doing Poppy? 16 months looking good. Shout out to

[1:38:19] Deadly. Deadly is going to be setting up everything in the Discord. So that way premium members, that way YouTube channel members, YouTube premium members, the creator workshop members, everybody will have automatic access. As

[1:38:31] long as your YouTube is connected to Discord, you guys will have automatic access the second you join Discord. All right. So, what I do now is I fix the um the uh uh so I go to properties. I fix the captions. I put them up in the area

[1:38:48] going to be like right around right above the comment section area to help uh help keep up with that. Uh the text I use for all my [ __ ] is monster rat and I

[1:39:01] use for all my [ __ ] is monster rat and I go to semibold and I'll add a slight stroke. Shout out to all the strokers out there. What up, Sean? Sean, bad news. I'm not I'm not I'm not doing crypto gambling anymore, brother. We're

[1:39:15] going a route that I know some of you guys aren't going to like, but it's much better for me, man. Much better for me. All right. Um, so while keeping these highlighted, I want to change the color to to uh I like I like to pick the color

[1:39:28] to match the vibe for me. So, like I always go to my light in the background and grab like the the gold orange and then I I I [ __ ] with it a little bit. But that's why if you notice it's never like just a pure yellow or pure orange.

[1:39:42] I I try to This is just stupid [ __ ] I'm just trying to explain why I do it. I the color, the look. So, I'm since I'm using blues and teals, you know what I mean? No guys, the point being is you can do this in Cap Cut. You can do this

[1:39:58] on desktop cat. Cap Cut. You can do this in Da Vinci Resolve. Um, from here, if I wanted to adjust my colors at all, I'd add an adjustment layer. I'd put it here. Um, if anything, I mean, it already looks good. That's the whole

[1:40:12] point of is to save time to where I'm not doing it out of the camera. I might add a vignetting to this. Nothing crazy. Uh, maybe a slight curve if I just want to get [ __ ] to pop. I'm just trying to give you guys things that like could

[1:40:25] enhance your looks a little bit. Like, nothing crazy. Like if you turn that off and on, it just, you know, it gives more of a look that I like. Desaturate a probably won't do anything to it. And I just completely [ __ ] with it. That looks

[1:40:39] good. I like that. All right. So then what I do is I go to the captions here. I delete the ones that are above the comment because I don't I don't care to have them in the comments. And then NOW I'M NOT [ __ ] B PEANUT.

[1:40:52] HELLO. Audio still good. Okay. All right. First off, stop stressing about problem that >> Okay, that overlays there. I want to take that out. Drag the captions there. >> Vertical videos. This is a problem that

[1:41:07] lots of creators make for themselves. The reality is, by the way, sorry, I'm I'm fully focused cuz I'm just like, this is the typical routine I do. So, I'm watching the full video back now, but what I'm doing is I'm paying

[1:41:19] attention to the captions because it could [ __ ] up words. This is a problem that lots of creators make for themselves. The reality is most people don't even watch in 4K. They're usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half

[1:41:33] the time. In fact, this video you're watching me on right now that I'm recording while I'm live is recorded in 1080. The reason my videos look good has nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting, the environment I

[1:41:47] set up around me, the camera settings I have, and the fact that I added my own L to it. And that's it. Resolution isn't a hack to good video. THE SETUP IS OH, [ __ ] Yep. That's a That's a fast banger, man. That's a fast banger. In

[1:42:01] and out, man. In and out. What's up, B? In and out. Just done deal. Now, we add a song to it. I liked yesterday's song. I a reuse song sometimes. I downloaded a good song yesterday. Um I think it's this one.

[1:42:22] want to do is I want to have the buildup to the drop. So, I'll cut it at the drop. I'm trying to give you guys information so that way it's easy to where you could do this in other programs. And I drag it where I'm going

[1:42:36] that hook where it's like a buildup. >> First off, stop stressing about 4K and vertical videos. That's where I want the drop. Boom. What's the drop? Um, new Upgrading my setup. What is a lot? A lot is a creative

[1:42:53] filter essentially that you can put over your footage. It's a it's just you can see the before and afters. So in the editing software, which there's an installation guide in both my LUT packs,

[1:43:08] it is you just apply it to the video. You can apply it like how I have it set streaming software so I can record directly on it. Yeah, LU is essentially for your ship. All right, here we go. Now, that's going to be a little loud.

[1:43:24] I'm gonna turn that down to about 25%. Here we go. You guys ready for the final piece? All right, first off, stop stressing about 4K in vertical videos. This is a problem that lots of creators make for themselves. The reality is most

[1:43:37] people don't even watch in 4K. They're usually watching in 1080 or hell even 720p half the time. In fact, this video you're watching me on right now that I'm recording while I'm live is recorded in 1080. The reason my videos look good has

[1:43:52] nothing to do with 4K or resolution at all. It is lighting, the environment I set up around me, the camera settings I have, and the fact that I added my own L to it. And that's it. Resolution isn't a hack to good video. The setup is Oh,

[1:44:08] can we get W's in the chat, guys? Can we get W's in the chat? Come on, guys. ADHD brain for 10 seconds and we got it knocked out. How long has this stream

[1:44:24] topics and conversations and in a two-hour time frame, I was able to explain to you guys. conversations, too. I was able to explain to you guys other conversations,

[1:44:41] other deep deep conversations like 10, 15, 20 minute conversations. Uh we were able to generate an idea, answer we were able to showcase a scene setup, answer able to showcase a scene setup, answer questions with that, generate an idea,

[1:44:56] go back and forth and and get challenges from chat to learn more about how to to utilize uh uh AI in this, how you should be working with AI. um putting it together, editing it, boom, within 2 hours. So, like the whole point of this

[1:45:12] guys is you explain to me I I get it, man. Some of you guys are busy. You guys work full-time jobs. You got you got family, you got personal time you got to have. Where a lot of us creators are growing

[1:45:26] brands and we're outshining you is because we built the system first and then we developed the habit and we stick to the routine. You guys notice I don't like I built the coming into the new year to go in this creative direction. I

[1:45:42] built this setup to do this for a reason. So every day I sit down, I have video shot. I have my short form video shot. You know what you're getting. Plus there's a psychology to this. You're getting replicated in the idea of this.

[1:45:56] You're comfortable. You're showing up and you're just remembering more and more. I'm a routine. I'm a part of your [ __ ] life. I'm in your head. I'm inside of your guts respectfully with consent. With consent. Okay. And um I'm

[1:46:11] telling you right now, this is why the streamer blueprint, the creator blueprint, not only are are those designed to be that way, but it's a reason why every time we talk about [ __ ] we talk about consistency and

[1:46:23] routines. This is why I was giving the example earlier of that large creator that my buddy worked with and found out that he was horrible to work with. Cuz on in the public image, it looked like he had systems and routines. Even guys

[1:46:35] with millions of subscribers and followers don't have [ __ ] systems and routines and they're generating x amount of six figures a year. Just one, imagine let their ego down and they stuck to actual [ __ ] structure themselves. How

[1:46:50] much would they scale? But two, how fast you can compete with these [ __ ] you can compete with these [ __ ] if you set it up yourself. If you set it up your conself, Jesus Christ. If you set it up yourself.

[1:47:04] Um, I'm not going to do the publishing process from here. Uh, from here I I'll what I do, I render the video. I take a screenshot so that way I can have an

[1:47:16] actual dedicated screenshot. Uh, I upload both of those into Google Drive. I airdrop it to my phone uh from my MacBook and and then I p I Here's another thing. Here's another tip to this. Don't wait. Don't get excited and

[1:47:30] post on one place and then wait for the other. Get a system and routine. So, every day my setup is Instagram first because I can uh post from Instagram to

[1:47:43] Oh, here's also too uh something another step that I'll do. All right, perfect. I need Oh, sorry.

[1:47:56] I'll go back into the chat GPT. All right, perfect. I need a solid title for Instagram, YouTube, and Tik Tok.

[1:48:09] YouTube, and Tik Tok. Also under each title for for each platform, give me five strong relatable hashtags for each. Uh it's crucial that

[1:48:25] you guys do this part. Um now you could change it the way you want. Uh no, I use cast iron. You can change this the way that you want.

[1:48:40] But different platforms titles do elicit a different response based on how the platform is. It does adjust the stop scroll. Just a just a heads up. Just a heads up.

[1:48:58] So Instagram, I'm going to go with stop stressing about 4K videos. YouTube Shorts, that's a good one. 4K won't fix your bad vertical. I'm going to do 4K won't fix your bad videos. Not even vertical. Uh Tik Tok. I'm going to do

[1:49:10] this. Your I'm going to put your videos look bad because of this dot dot dot. And then the the hashtags are usually pretty good per. So what the the order that I'm going to post these after I airdrop it to my phone is I'm going to

[1:49:24] go to Instagram first. I'm going to go to Instagram first. I'm going to post from there because I can post to Instagram and Facebook from one place. Those get knocked out. I'm then going to go to YouTube from my phone,

[1:49:39] upload from there, add the hashtags. I I usually make it public from the computer after it processes and then I go to Tik Tok and I post there. I do it all in one way I get it out of the way. When you actually start getting that routine and

[1:49:52] you I know it sounds stupid when you're like, I know I have to post it to five, four or five places. Um I need to start posting these more to Snapchat. I'm slacking on that. I'll do that today. I'll do Snapchat after Tik Tok. But the

[1:50:04] the thing is, this is what I'm talking about about routines. When you get in got the video, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Snapchat. Boom. Done. In and out." time is like, "Well, why why aren't you posting on X?" Guys, X, certain videos

[1:50:22] posting on X?" Guys, X, certain videos do okay on X. X is currently just not a video first platform for content creators unless it's trending events and topics. uh news updates, things like that. Um, and in some situations, if I'm

[1:50:38] taking advantage of uh, you know, an Apple event and I got a skit about that, Apple event and I got a skit about that, I'll post on on on Apple or on on X. Uh, but like these types of videos, I don't even post on X. Uh, well, Snapchat is

[1:50:50] landscape. They're trying to make a comeback and with their spotlights, they're giving they're pushing people hard and giving people the bag. I actually got verified on Snapchat because of this. Um, I don't post

[1:51:02] enough. I really really should. Uh it it's just I'm not adding it into my routine. I'm slacking. There's no other way to put it. It it once you start getting the habit down, dude, it takes you five minutes to [ __ ] post. Five

[1:51:16] minutes. Five. Uh cuz I'm not I'm not uh um logged into my TikTok on on my PC. And uh on YouTube, I can't select the

[1:51:30] um thumbnail that I want to have on PC. So, I go to if I'm g my thought process So, I go to if I'm g my thought process is if I'm going to post to Tik Tok and YouTube from mobile. My my entire thought process actually is if I'm going

[1:51:43] to post mobile anyways from YouTube uh to get my thumbnail. I don't want to make it even more annoying where it's like, okay, now go to PC to post this and then go to I just I got the file on my phone. I have the screenshot. I have

[1:51:58] my phone. I have the screenshot. I have the file. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, the file. Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Tik Tok, done. Only fans done. It's just it's it's creating habits. This is why broken record. Everything about the

[1:52:13] broken record. Everything about the blueprints is about creating habits. No, no. Putting it into Google Drive doesn't ruin the uh the quality. It doesn't compress it. Putting it into the editor, the edit portion. Uh, but again,

[1:52:29] we're making. Even if you get a slight compression from this, guys, what are we person is not going to know this. Notice the difference. This is Nathan. This is

[1:52:41] why I get Nathan. This is why I get the comments where it's like, "Well, of course your vertical stream looks good. You're on 4K." No, I'm not. It's 1080 right now. I'm on a crop sensor lens. 1080 crop sensor lens. What do you It's

[1:52:57] not de It's being compressed. It's It's being pushed down. The reason why the [ __ ] quality looks good on any platform is because the native setup is

[1:53:09] good off the rip. I don't have to adjust things in the program. It's good straight as you're receiving it right now. And that's because of the lighting, the environment around me. Like guys, look at this. Watch this.

[1:53:24] Like guys, look at this. Watch this. Look how much different this is.

[1:53:49] This is how most creators set up their [ __ ] Everything's uber bright. There's no separation from the background. It's it's it's just a concept of, "Oh, good camera. The background looks cool. There's cool [ __ ] in the background. I

[1:54:05] got a big bright light directly in front of me. I got I got to have it be very bright and big in front of me. Looks like [ __ ] in comparison." Now, if you're scrolling along, I somebody might be open this up

[1:54:17] really good quality. This is really good quality. You look like you never go outside. [ __ ] you. [ __ ] you, pal. [ __ ] you.

[1:54:32] I mean, just even watch the angle change in this light.

[1:54:46] one. Look how much better that looks. not as bright. So the So if I'm facing straight in front of me, this light is an at an angle and it's facing this way.

[1:54:58] an at an angle and it's facing this way. That's what's cutting this out. Okay. That's what's cutting this out. Okay. Then we then we do this.

[1:58:52] sexualize me right now? Um, okay. Damn. Good, good, good. I rambled on in a whole bunch of directions and we still kept this around 2 hours. That's really good, guys. That's really, really good. Um,

[1:59:07] questions, any questions real quick? I'm going to turn on the AC to the room. Questions about workflow. Anything related to this?

[1:59:22] uh we did a uh anamorphic stream not too long ago. you um for any more serious creators that are watching the stream, maybe

[1:59:35] you're looking lurking in the background and you you already have a following and the things I said, but you still have other questions and [ __ ] Uh I do have one-on-one hours available on my site. This this again is more suggested for

[1:59:50] the people that are actually generating revenue and they want to invest a little bit to set up [ __ ] a little bit more and and have a deeper conversation where we can hop into a call and I can literally say adjust this, move this over here.

[2:00:04] available on my site. Those are the things that we do. Um we we also talk content strategy everything is it's it's all under the information of what we do there. So have you thought about using a service for your digital content? Um,

[2:00:18] outside of Shopify, I have, but I just don't see a real benefit for it. Un, are you talking about like a third party site to where I can also put it on there for discovery? Is that what you're talking about?

[2:00:35] route to just get stuff out there and should act? Yeah, I mean, I I think you guys should be doing budget anyways. I I don't think you guys realize I spent the vast majority of the earlier part of my career on crop sensor cameras, guys. I

[2:00:49] was doing when I started off, you're you're talking in the uh 2016, you're talking in the uh 2016, I was I was charging $3,500 a week for weddings doing crop sensor work. All my weddings were recorded on

[2:01:03] crop sensors. couple a6300's with a couple uh couple decent lenses and a drone and I didn't I didn't lack customers because I was shooting on crop sensor. Um the first

[2:01:23] on my stream, the first 15,000 followers I got twi on Twitch back in the day, those were all on budget lenses. I didn't buy guys. I made a video. It's on my YouTube channel. I made a video about buying my dream lens, like seven years

[2:01:41] after I was already doing this full-time, buying the 16 to 35 millimeter f2.8. That was a big pivotable point in my career for for me just just in terms of like uh you know, timeline and everything. Uh 16 to 35.

[2:01:56] Let's see if um I finally got the four years ago. Wow. That's how short. Literally, I finally got the Sony 16 to35 f/2.8 for my Sony A74.

[2:02:12] I've been working with Sony cameras for uh 10 now. 10. Wow. 10 this month. Actually, March, right around this time was when I got my first a6 uh a6 a6300. Four years ago, was the first time I updated to a native an expensive native

[2:02:28] Sony camera uh camera lens. It was the first time. things on a budget, I'm saying that you can generate a a sixf figureure business

[2:02:41] can generate a a sixf figureure business on a budget. It's not even it's not even a theory of if. It's you can literally do that. We over complicate it way more. Way more. Sony's EV10 Mark1 is a pretty good

[2:02:57] Sony's EV10 Mark1 is a pretty good camera. Yeah, it's a good starter. dream to get brought out to one of these Sony events. I got to start making more uh Sony gear videos. I I Yeah, been

[2:03:12] using Sony for 5 years. It's just such a good product. But like, you know, the the point of that is I've been using it for 10 years. Only for the last four have I been using Sony native lenses. I shot I shot Jesus Christ. I shot on

[2:03:25] Sigma. I shot on Tamron for the vast early portion of my career. I generated of thousands of dollars on Tamron lenses, guys. Crop sensor uh cameras and

[2:03:37] lenses. But back up even more, most of my first lenses that I had on crop sensor were not even Sony native lenses. They were cheaper lenses. They were Sigma lenses. They were your um like uh your oneoff

[2:03:54] They were your um like uh your oneoff [ __ ] uh cheap Amazon manual focus uh [ __ ] uh cheap Amazon manual focus uh cinematic lenses like $70 lenses. It it would it was tough. I will say like trying to do uh wedding [ __ ] trying to

[2:04:06] manual focus and whatnot. Uh shout out to the to the misses. She would be the automatic and I would try to get like more uh cinematic or special shots with like the manual lens in in some situations. So yeah. What's up, zombie?

[2:04:21] situations. So yeah. What's up, zombie? Tamron, V, uh, uh, Viltrox, uh, Mechy, Sigma. I don't know if I'm saying these correctly, but I've had experience with all these all these. One of my favorite lenses. One of my favorite lenses. Check

[2:04:33] lenses. One of my favorite lenses. Check this [ __ ] out. think at the time it was only a couple hundred. Um, it's fully manual, but dude, this thing is [ __ ] beautiful. Beautiful. Uh, it's a 7 Artisian 50mm

[2:04:51] Um, there's no point of me even showing you what this looks like because the shot would be so tight. You would just see my eyeball, but it is a I I [ __ ] love this lens. I use this for like very tight B-roll

[2:05:06] shots. Yeah, cheap. Awesome. That's what these Yeah, cheap. Awesome. That's what these lenses are. Same thing with this. I have the uh the Polar Pro 50 millimeter light leak. So, what what's

[2:05:19] interesting about this lens, again, not that expensive. It's a it's a it's a So, it's not a manual focus. This is a it's only got one focal point. It's very It's a very challenging lens to use, but like if you find the distance where the p the

[2:05:35] subject is in focus, you can turn this bar and you can add lens flares to the [ __ ] I I almost feel like I do have to show you guys this one on TikTok. I I feel like I have to now. I feel like I have to. Um here, we'll we'll do it.

[2:05:50] I have to. Um here, we'll we'll do it. We'll do it live.

[2:06:02] wasn't expecting that. This is going to look like [ __ ] Hold on. This is going to look like [ __ ] This is gonna look like [ __ ] All right.

[2:06:17] show you guys because I'm not I'm not in focus. But like I'll show you. Come on. Oh, wait. I'm not going to be able to area where the light comes in. [ __ ] me

[2:06:32] where the light comes in. [ __ ] me running. Bad example.

[2:06:44] But yeah, this is just like a cheap lens and you'll watch. So, you turn this little dial and you can add

[2:07:05] [ __ ] sick, man. It's sick. It works for different situations. Obviously a bad example. OBVIOUSLY OH MY GOD.

[2:07:33] Bad example. I'm sorry. fun lenses, man. If you want to be creative, just get [ __ ] like this, dude. creative, just get [ __ ] like this, dude. Just get [ __ ] like this.

[2:07:51] else on topic of of the [ __ ] that we're talking about today? Anything else? Anything? Appreciate you guys being so patient today. Um, I it sucks, man. But like the only way to successfully do these and have a good environment and I

[2:08:07] think this says a lot too right now. I I can't allow Kick to have open access to can't allow Kick to have open access to chat. It just sucks, man. It just it it genuinely sucks. I wish they would get their [ __ ] together. If I if I leave no

[2:08:22] follower mode on, dude, the amount of people that would have just tried to ruin the vibe today, spamming, saying like off-the-wall [ __ ] It's just so like off-the-wall [ __ ] It's just so sad, man. Just so sad. Mhm.

[2:08:39] Not sure if you remember me. It's uh Kading's wife. I think we met at TwitchCon. Firefighter. I got a good memory. I got a good memory. firefighter. You guys got married a few years back and you had a

[2:09:08] are doing well. I just actually talked to Mike uh uh not too long ago. Big Meech, my kids PC uh peripherals keep randomly disconnecting every few

[2:09:20] seconds, even with the USB driver update. It's the only bad thing about wireless devices. Are you using Bluetooth or are you using a USB um transmitter in

[2:09:40] whole another video in itself. softbox in front of you at a 45 degree angle. That's about the best advice that I can give right now without the deeper give right now without the deeper nuances in it. Am I doing No, this is

[2:09:52] the This is actually a more expensive lens uh crop sensor lens that's on there. Now, how much is the uh the Sony 15 millimeter? It's I mean, it's an amazing [ __ ] It's still crop sensor. 15 mm 1.4. Uh but I know Yeah, this

[2:10:06] 15 mm 1.4. Uh but I know Yeah, this one's like $600, $700. kickback from them. I am tracking my links uh through them. So, if you do check out my recent setup video that I put out a couple weeks ago and you use

[2:10:48] it just like constantly have to be this close. So, I've adjusted some things. I know it probably doesn't sound the best, but the fact that like this can be this far and I can move around. I just like this more. It's just more of like a a

[2:11:00] broadcasty feel for me. Kevin, last time you were speaking about the lens between the one you were using. Yeah, I the Sigma Sigma is like uh I I guess they did go up in price. Sigma 16 millimeter f1.4. Highly suggest that. All these
