Kick Streamer Pay: $16/Hour Leak Debunked & Real Monetization

[00:16] unfortunately this $16 an hour screenshot in particular is a online troll I know it's shocking that something on the Internet isn't actually true oh I can't believe it anyways today we talk about the real hourly pay that's

[00:31] coming to kick how you can currently make money on Kick and what the future looks like for bringing in revenue on Kick I do think before we get into this that starting streaming only on the hopes that you can earn easy money to

[00:46] leave your boring ass job is not only stupid but most likely will result in Failure this is usually what creates the small streamer mentality which is this idea that just because you do it means you deserve something in return for

[00:59] further from the truth if it was easy everybody would do it most of us who originally because we just genuinely wanted to and then somewhere down the line money followed the whole point of today's video is to just bring some

[01:13] transparency to the current state of kick and give some creators out there income so at the time of making this video the main source of income comes from Subs on kick you could use a third party donation link obviously but I'm

[01:27] talking about what kick offers for you the streamer right now to earn Revenue specifically on kick now this is obviously nothing new twitch Subs have been a huge part of Creator's income for years only difference is on kick you get

[01:39] 95% of your earnings versus the 50% on Twitch or the 70% on YouTube the other 5% of the sub cost goes to the payment processing fee so every $5 sub that you get on kick you personally earn $474 now there are a lot of people that

[01:55] are really worried that this 95% payout is just kind of hype off the start that longterm they'll go back on this to make the platform more profitable but multiple owners of kick have assured the viewers that they will never touch the

[02:09] sub revenue for the creators this creates yet another fear where everybody is concerned if the platform is sustainable will kick be able to generate profit in some way to make it a long-term platform I did have the

[02:21] co-founders of kick about this last month and he said that in q1 of 2023 kick was already showing profit honest right now so Ki has only been around for for you know 3 to four months right we we we saw we saw profit in q1 we saw

[02:36] profit in q1 just through one strategic partnership right that's all right that's that's all it takes it's not a difficult business model to to sustain think there is ways to go about this and I think I think that as long as people

[02:50] understand that there is a long-term of road map out there that we're very you know really look forward to seeing what what's achievable um I think all it's kind of interesting and I think they're already going to start doubting

[03:03] know is the kind of thing that was only going to last a week 2 weeks 3 weeks on and on but I think naturally people are skeptical for the right reasons and you know we'll just continue to prove them wrong um you know most certainly

[03:17] taking people's subscriptions money and all that kind of stuff isn't what makes biggest misconception of the all the misconception of us overpaying for Ser cost like there is absolutely no issues right now kick sustainability and I can

[03:31] tell you that right now as someone who like we're trying to make some we're people right that should go to show that us as a company we are not worried about doesn't change the fact that currently right now you do get 95% of the Rev

[03:46] split which is huge for creators I mean for every 100 Subs you're talking for every 100 Subs you're talking $474 versus twitch's $250 then at some point kick will be offering kicks which is essentially kicks version of bits

[04:00] this will be like a chat currency where viewers will be able to interact and support their creators I have heard that kicks will also be available for the chat in itself meaning that if I was to give kicks to a streamer I could choose

[04:15] to either give the kicks to the streamer itself or to the chat of the streamer actually comes true and how it will work one of the things that I loved about twitch bits years ago is that you could actually earn bits by watching ads I

[04:28] thought this was a great interactive way for twitch you have to have ads so what better way to entice the viewers to stay and watch the ads than to give them bits thus being able to support the Creator but of course in twitch fashion they had

[04:41] to get rid of something that made sense next let's talk about the hourly pay on Kick yes both train W and Eddie have publicly talked about a Creator program that will be coming that will introduce an hourly pay the idea is that as kick

[04:54] learns what metrics are really important to specific creators the Creator could introduced into the Creator program which I assume the Creator program is kind of similar to twitch's partner program but once the Creator achieves

[05:08] being in the Creator program is you would get an hourly pay for x amount of do and the more they grow their Community the more they would get in return so for example let's just say you hit 250 CCV which is 250 congruent

[05:24] this program and then you automatically start earning $25 an hour for x amount hours a month let's just say 100 from there the more that you grow the better that you do you would be able to unlock different tiers like $50 at 500 CCV if

[05:40] this is true and actually how it's going to work I think this is a great idea for creators to actually work for something I think we've all seen by now how partner and then on top of that cutting out personally picking contracts for

[05:53] specific streamers and just rewarding any Creator who grows their Community as elephant and the the room let's talk about ads I've only heard ads briefly talked about between Eddie and train but the idea is that ads will never be

[06:06] forced onto you like what we're used to on Twitch I believe ads at some point is going to be offered to creators and not forced so that way they can specifically they do this YouTube has been doing this for years by the way you can actually

[06:20] disable or enable the ads then on top of that you can pick what kind of ads go on hearing the word ads and getting super uncomfortable remember ads in general uncomfortable remember ads in general aren't bad twitch forcing pre-roll ads

[06:34] and forcing non-skippable back-to-back ads and then giving the creators a shitty cut is what's actually bad and then in light of all the recent sponsor talk over on Twitch I've been assured by kick that they will never ever try to

[06:48] platform and they will honor any third-party contract that you personally sponsorship and that's what I want to promote on my stream it will never be a conflict of interest for the site if they start offering ads finally I

[07:02] encourage everyone to utilize your growth on Kick to bring in Revenue off of kick now while some of you might say that the following is very obvious I don't think you realize how many creators out there have no idea how many

[07:15] opportunities are available and how they can leverage their growth to make money of air it's been an awesome time The Vibes are really high there and the extra income from it has been great it's never healthy to put all your eggs in

[07:28] one basket bringing in extra income on YouTube ad revenue or short form content is huge working with Brands and using sites like Amazon to get affiliate sales is great additional income in fact earlier this year I tweeted out that in

[07:42] January I brought in $1,500 extra dollars just from affiliate links and passive income alone that is a extra house payment done from just not being lazy putting content on every single platform signing up for websites and

[07:56] putting links in videos I mean just a simple 50 shirt clothing drop costs maybe $4 to $500 for you to produce but in return will make you $1,400 to $1,500 that's a $1,000 Profit just from you

[08:09] selling 50 shirts all in all the point is it's a really big world there's a ton of ways to monetize yourself while kick offers a lot of opportunities and the future really does look dope over there I highly recommend that you educate
