How to get New ICE LIGHT SABER Sword (Ice Guardian's Sleetblade) in Val ► WoW Midnight

[00:00] Hey guys, it's Conna here and in this

[00:01] video I'm going to show you how to get

[00:02] the new ice lightsaber swords, the ones

[00:05] that you can get in the Val region of

[00:08] this update. This is what they look

[00:09] like. Pretty damn cool swords and

[00:11] there's a little nifty way that you get

[00:12] them. It's very secret. So, the first

[00:14] thing we'll do is make our way to Val

[00:16] cuz this is only doable within Val and

[00:19] you'll have to load this up in heroic

[00:21] world tier. Once you're in here, you're

[00:23] going to make your way to the cave at

[00:24] the bottom right, the Sleete Rune

[00:27] Hollow. I'll show you once I'm near

[00:29] there. Look at my awesome new mount that

[00:30] we got this week, dude. Finally got it

[00:32] yesterday. Now, once you get to this

[00:33] cave over here, you're going to go into

[00:35] the cave like this and you're going to

[00:36] go all the way to the back end of the

[00:39] cave down here.

[00:41] And you'll see here in the wall, there's

[00:43] this object. When you interact with the

[00:45] object, it opens up the quest window and

[00:47] you can attempt to pull the sword from

[00:48] the ice.

[00:50] It doesn't let you pull it, but it does

[00:51] give you a buff called testament to

[00:54] prove your strength by slaying worthy

[00:56] foes. Now, before you loot the sword,

[00:58] you want to make sure that a rare is

[01:00] about to spawn because you either have

[01:01] to kill two rares or one rare plus the

[01:05] world boss.

[01:07] What this means is you have to slay rare

[01:09] creatures. You can also do the world

[01:10] boss, but maybe I wouldn't risk it in

[01:12] case you die and lose the buff.

[01:15] You should also know that you cannot

[01:16] cancel this buff when you first get it.

[01:18] You have to wait for the timer to end. I

[01:20] recommend picking up the sword and

[01:21] starting the buff as soon as you see

[01:23] that a rare has spawned so that you grab

[01:25] the buff and then you can run over to

[01:27] the spawn while it still has the 3

[01:28] minutes time of safety. You'll see when

[01:30] every rare spawns it has 3 minutes of

[01:32] safety before anybody can attack it. You

[01:34] have to take this into account and then

[01:36] you can go ahead and kill the rare. Once

[01:38] the rare is dead, you'll see that you

[01:39] get a new 30-minute buff called

[01:40] vanquishing, which acknowledges your

[01:43] deed, but you have to get a second buff

[01:44] of this while the first one is still

[01:46] active. So, we have 16 minutes. In my

[01:48] case, I don't have time for another rare

[01:50] because I need more than 20 minutes on

[01:52] that clock. So, what I'm going to go do

[01:54] is the world boss. The world boss is

[01:56] located at the bottom, right over here,

[01:58] through this portal. We can go through

[02:00] the portal, and then we'll make our way

[02:01] down the stairs.

[02:05] And then when you're in front of the

[02:06] boss here, you're going to go ahead and

[02:07] open up your group finder, go to

[02:09] pre-made groups, custom, and you're

[02:10] going to search for a group for

[02:12] Imperator Thok. So, we're going to sign

[02:14] up here and join this group. Doesn't

[02:16] matter if you've already killed the

[02:18] boss, we'll go ahead and kill it again.

[02:20] Just remember, you do need to do this

[02:22] before your original buff runs out. And

[02:25] you'll see here when we do kill the

[02:26] world boss, just like this, we'll get

[02:29] two stacks of the vanquishing, and the

[02:31] original buff testament will update to

[02:33] say that you have proven yourself

[02:35] worthy, and you have to return swiftly

[02:37] to claim your reward. Now, you have to

[02:39] use that timer to make your way back.

[02:41] I'm just going to try not to aggro

[02:43] everything

[02:44] along with these other players.

[02:46] I recommend only pulling that sword out

[02:47] as soon as the first rare spawns, cuz

[02:49] doing the world boss is tricky with all

[02:51] the the ads that can kill you along the

[02:53] way. But, I think I'll make it here. And

[02:56] I'll just roll up here, make my way back

[02:58] to the cave, the cave at the bottom

[03:00] right, Sleekrune Hollow. Looks like

[03:02] another player's doing this exact same

[03:04] thing. And then we can go ahead and we

[03:05] can loot the sword while we have this

[03:07] buff. Attempt to pull from the ice.

[03:08] Boom. There we go. We got the item, the

[03:11] Iceguardians Sleetsword. And you can see

[03:14] here, this is what these swords look

[03:15] like when I have them equipped. Looks

[03:17] pretty damn cool. And when I sheathe

[03:19] them on my back as a monk, this is what

[03:21] they look like. Pretty damn cool, right?
