This video provides a comprehensive guide for small streamers on how to secure game sponsorships without being a Twitch or YouTube partner. Chapters
Even small streamers are important to developers. The creator has worked with over 100 developers including Nintendo, Bethesda, and Frontier, showing that opportunities exist for all sizes.
Developers value reliability (e.g., not crossing embargoes), niche game preferences, your country of origin, and your target audience alignment with their game.
Never ask for five keys as it signals you might sell them. For co-op games, ask for two keys. Only request giveaway keys after establishing a relationship.
You can reach out via Twitter/X or email, but these methods are difficult because developers receive many requests from people trying to exploit free keys.
Lurkit connects streamers with developers, offers analytics, and provides a platform where creators can see which campaigns they are eligible for, set their own payment, and join creator programs.
The dashboard shows stats like followers, active campaigns, and pre-approved keys. Analytics include stream performance, viewer graphs, and growth curves.
Campaigns have specific requirements like average viewers (e.g., 25 for Payday 3, 75 for Starfield). The 'only show campaigns I'm eligible for' filter helps avoid rejection.
Quests allow streamers to set their own price and duration for streaming a game. Creator programs offer long-term collaboration with perks like MVP access and exclusive Discord servers.
Small streamers can get sponsorships by demonstrating reliability and using platforms like Lurkit to connect with developers. The key is to focus on campaigns you're eligible for and set your own terms to avoid being underpaid.

[00:01] you might think that you're not important enough for developers to work with you however that's not the case at all I've worked with a lot of developers such as Nintendo Bethesda Frontier a lot of indie game developers it's more than
[00:15] 100 so I'm not gonna all call them out there's a lot of different opportunities streaming their game sometimes I got paid sometimes I was allowed to come to there's so many things that you can do together with developers and it's so
[00:29] talk about it it's something important to talk about but it's kind of difficult that if they tell you about the great opportunities they had that you will definitely not how it works though in the next couple of minutes I'm going to
[00:44] talk about sponsorships for your streams how you can get them well you would be valuable for a developer and the easy way to get sponsored but before I do that I have a twitch Channel myself Twitter TV slash three link is down
[00:56] thing I need to mention is that this video is sponsored by lurkit I'm going the video so why would a developer want to work with you why are you worth attitude so for example if they ask you to not
[01:13] stream a game before a certain date you are not streaming it before that certain date don't cross embargoes ever okay guys and because they might have worked with you already they're pretty sure you're not Crossing embargoes and they
[01:25] know you're safe or maybe you play similar kind of games if Starfield comes out but you have been playing so many space games and RPGs for example you've been playing a lot of No Man's Sky why would they not want to
[01:40] country you're from so a lot of developers really think that's cool if there's like a Dutch game they're like hey sure do you want to play it because we're from the Netherlands and you're from the Netherlands and it's kind of
[01:53] that your target audience the people that watch you are also the ones that they want to Target so for example if your target audience is Gamers which it they might want to sell something to those Gamers or even more specifics
[02:10] people that watch cozy games or people that watch Space Games you get the point Starfield the whole video okay another thing that a lot of people don't know is developers get a lot of emails from people that are trying to take advantage
[02:23] of the free steam keys so there's a lot of people that ask like for five Keys never ask for five keys if it's a co-op game you can ask for two keys or if you already work together with them you can try and ask for a giveaway key but never
[02:35] it just comes over as you want to sell those keys on the internet and there's a developers in the hopes that they can get keys that they can then sell which promote the game right and they're trying to find people like you that want
[02:51] really hard for them to go to all these emails for people that aren't actually content creators and sometimes this is a really small indie game and viewer it's one few more than they had before
[03:05] in their game and it can be a huge help to them already so what are methods for Publishers to work with well you can for example go to Twitter or X it's the same thing I know but I just include them both because I'm not used to it myself
[03:18] either and then you can search for them and try to message them or find a them and say that you want to cover their stream you can also find an email address and contact them however these methods are a bit difficult you need to
[03:32] message and hope the message get through because again there's a lot of people that send these emails that want to sell these keys and they need to like filter you out and maybe you get filtered out incorrectly but I do have a solution for
[03:46] that and that is our sponsor lurkid because lurkit connects Gamers streamers content creators with developers and Publishers that want to promote their games not only do they help you find sponsors they also help you fight your
[04:00] analytics by offering you insights in helping you connect activate those developers and you actually know all the stats then because look it shows you they have created programs where you can work together with a developer multiple
[04:13] times because then you are in the Creator program and they have quests kinds of developers you have small indie game developers but they also work with Triple A's so there's a lot of choice and a lot of different kind of games
[04:26] just go to the website and jump right website underneath in the description for you alright this is lurkit making games grow and we're gonna log in here if you haven't made an account you can
[04:39] also join larkit and here we're gonna put our username and password in if you're logged in you come at this screen where you can see some stats for example amount of followers you have here you see the keys that are already offered to
[04:54] us and one that we have accepted so this is an active campaign here are some game developers that want to work with us so we haven't requested or anything like and work together with them immediately we're kind of like pre-approved and
[05:09] behind those it says which developer has approved us for this game key okay like I said you can view your statistics we have them right here but we can also go here to analytics we can click this away if you have any questions we can
[05:24] still click on here to ask them all right this is our profile we can see an overview of streams here you can also see the past streams with a lot of data with it we can see which games we play two point campus we had an average of 25
[05:38] two point campus we had an average of 25 there a pic of 35 an airtime of 3.7 hours and with that we had 93 hours watched in total by our viewers we can even see our faults here and the overview here we have which days of the
[05:51] week we stream and what our average viewer count is then Tuesdays and Fridays I'm live and you can see average active days a week is 1.6 average hours per stream 4.1 total games played 10 average games per stream 1.8 and average
[06:07] concurrent viewer over the last 30 days is 18. you can see this is our last stream and we can see that we did unsung Warriors and Zelda Legends of Zelda and we can see how our viewers came in and where they dropped off again so there's
[06:22] a lot of information you can already get out of here we can also set this on last 180 days for example if you can see a nice grow curve for any followers if we click on our icon and go to Creator page we can also set up a page right here
[06:35] I've put some things in that I think is important for developers like tree helps create others grow work together with a lot of developers I do things for charity and I'm family friendly so I've put some images here with some text to
[06:48] let developers know who I am so they might choose me quicker they might have want somebody that's family friendly maybe they want somebody that is professional and with this I kind of showing that to them right here on the
[07:02] left there's also shop where if you have points you can spend them here and just get some games for yourself if you want to if you go to lurkey.gg campaigns we will arrive right here and here we can see for example there is a Payday 3
[07:15] campaign running and we can request a key you can also click on it and see more about it it is part of the Deep Silver creative Collective that is one of the programs I'm actually a part of right here the requirements for this one
[07:27] right here the requirements for this one particularly you have to have 25 average views in the last three days and you have to have 1500 in your last 10 videos average if you're a YouTube video creator there's some tags there's some
[07:40] text about the game and it also tells you a little bit about a programming right here let's go back there's more because you're straight for example you can also scroll down we have star field of course
[07:52] because Starfield is a bigger franchise they're gonna ask for a lot more so they're asking for 75 if you're average and 5 000 average per video on YouTube you have planned a project right here
[08:06] and they ask for 20 viewer average and it actually immediately accepts at me in the fact that I have that and you can see you also need 100 I also have so I could apply for this and then I
[08:21] this button show only companions I'm eligible for and then here we have a list of campaigns that you can join so if you're like well I don't like seeing what you can do is just click that button and then you can only see games
[08:37] that you are allowed to work together with there's also bigger games for your postal there there are some bigger games in here Elder Scrolls so it's not like there's no big games that want to work with smaller creators as long as
[08:51] you're legit creator that works together well with them right and what we have as well is quests right here okay in quests let's just click on about E1 you can see there's embargo running for it as well so please keep embargoes in
[09:06] mind and I want you to publish your content between September the 10th and things in mind because this is really important for the developers and here important for the developers and here because it's a quest we can say hey to
[09:20] play this game I want 20 bucks to stream it for 90 minutes and then a twitch stream and then we can send an offer but because I don't have 50 viewer average I
[09:35] me again we can click this button only show campaigns I'm eligible for this one is asking for 15 every viewers if I click on Twitch I say I don't know 20 bucks for any minutes I can send them an offer the developer will get the offer
[09:50] for me and will say like hey yes I want to work with you or no I think your work with you because your stream doesn't fit with what we stand for what we want our brand to represent dimensional things that they want for
[10:04] example delivery within 10 days they want people from these continents which seems like all confidence anyone people that stream in English or in French and they have some talking parents deliveries and
[10:17] so there's quite some information about these campaigns you can basically just say which price you want to do and how long do you want to have that stream going for so you never be underpaid as you set the payment yourself if they
[10:32] you won't ever get a campaign that you're like but I don't want to do it for this little money because you said that yourself then if we hover over here again we also see Creator programs creative programs are more long-lasting
[10:45] campaign with a developer so assembly is here we got fun comb for example I do like fun Kong games and they all have different perks so it looks like a lot of them have MVP access to our keys and immediately acceptance and all organic
[11:00] campaigns this one has premium free premium Infinity skins for example key giveaways but the developers the Publishers kind of think of them themselves hey what are the things that what are the perks we want to give these
[11:13] creators twitch drops exclusive participation opportunities stuff like that make your wish for example has one here as well and all these programs are something different because Luca doesn't decide it for them but the Publishers
[11:27] and developers decide how does my program look like how do I want to work together so for example I have a membership of these two we've got a deep silver creative Collective and we have MVP access to all keys and exclusive
[11:40] Discord server and we can see which games are already included so I could stream Dead Island or payday which we just saw before and request a key in this particular program they share a little Vita Discord server
[11:53] but we can go to this one for example and we can see something different you can see there's a lot of missions here that you can do and there's also keys that we can request here that are connected so basically you can work
[12:06] together with the developer a little bit more often than once if you want to join open programs for example a single one we just we click on join program and here's the button applied to the phone com Creator
[12:20] program and we need to fill on our stuff here so they know who we are where our Steam games go our email address or user Discord so they can contact us basically I think the favorite part about lurkid is if you go browse and you just click
[12:34] on only show campaigns I'm eligible for then you can basically just see which developers most likely want to work with you you don't get a disappointment of emailing 100 companies and nobody wants to work with you that feels like you're
[12:46] not worth it but here you can see the ones that want to work with you and get that confident boost that you are worth it to work with if you want to grow more on Twitch I do have a whole playlist here you can also subscribe to my
[12:58] YouTube channel to stay up to date I post a lot more content that will help you grow your streams subscribe to my gameplay YouTube channel as I post very funny gameplay videos there you got Zelda we got overcooked we got moving
[13:10] out we got escape room simulator and many more videos so go subscribe to and many more videos so go subscribe to and I'll see you in that playlist
