AI Summary

This video provides a step-by-step guide on generating viral video ideas and titles for YouTube. The creator shares four methods: brainstorming seemingly impossible concepts, researching trends, using AI tools, and leveraging feedback from others. The key is to align ideas with a defined niche and deliver on promises to avoid clickbait backlash.

[00:06]
Define Your Niche

A channel must have a clear niche (e.g., YouTube education, game development) to make it easier to go viral. Sticking to one niche for future uploads will eventually override past unrelated content.

[01:14]
Method 1: Impossible Concepts

Generate video ideas that seem too good to be true, like 'I made a game in one line of code.' The goal is to make viewers curious. Then find honest ways to deliver on the promise, even if through technicalities.

[04:28]
Method 2: Research Trends

Use YouTube's trending tab, Google Trends, and YouTube Studio's research tab to find high-traffic keywords and trending topics that align with your niche.

[07:17]
Method 3: Use AI Tools

VidIQ's Boost plan (sponsored) offers a GPT-4 powered AI trained on YouTube data that suggests personalized video ideas. The creator claims it helped generate high-performing videos.

[08:13]
Method 4: Leverage Others

Mine your comment section for video ideas, ask friends/family who watch similar content, or hire freelancers on Fiverr to research low-competition viral concepts.

[09:52]
Title and Thumbnail Tips

Keep titles under 40 characters, ensure they display fully on the homepage, and pair them with compelling thumbnails. Simplicity is key; avoid fluff like 'must watch' or channel names.

To create viral videos, focus on a defined niche, generate intriguing ideas, research trends, use AI tools, and gather feedback. Always deliver on your title's promise to maintain audience trust.

[00:00] here's how to come up with viral video

[00:01] ideas and titles that blow up your

[00:03] channel just like I did with my first

[00:04] video as well as countless others first

[00:06] you'll need to figure out your Channel's

[00:07] Niche which honestly should be really

[00:09] easy for example this channel like my

[00:11] channel is in the niche of YouTube

[00:12] education because every single video on

[00:15] the channel is about educating aspiring

[00:16] YouTubers in contrast this channel is

[00:19] the niche of game development because

[00:20] every single video on the channel is

[00:22] about creating video games the key in

[00:24] both of these scenarios is that a

[00:25] channel has a defined Niche when

[00:27] virtually every single video is about

[00:29] the same thing which is important

[00:30] because it's really difficult to go

[00:32] viral if your content is subscriber base

[00:34] lie in a bunch of different niches

[00:36] regardless of how good your video ideas

[00:37] are on a side note if you're interested

[00:39] in videos like mine that teach you how

[00:40] to grow on YouTube you'll probably be

[00:41] interested in that first Channel's

[00:43] content and if you're interested in

[00:44] coding and video game creation you'll

[00:46] probably want to check out the second

[00:47] Channel but anyway if your channel

[00:48] doesn't have a clearly defined Niche

[00:50] pick one and stick to it for every

[00:52] single upload going forward eventually

[00:54] the videos and subscribers on your

[00:55] channel that aren't in said Niche will

[00:57] lose their influence on your new videos

[00:58] as performance if you've got a of other

[01:00] videos nullifying their impact basically

[01:02] if your channel doesn't have a niche now

[01:04] it eventually will if you just continue

[01:05] to stick to that Niche for your future

[01:07] uploads once you've figured out your

[01:08] Channel's Niche you'll be able to use

[01:10] these four methods that I'll be

[01:11] outlining next to generate viral video

[01:13] ideas that will blow up your channel

[01:14] method number one involves you coming up

[01:16] with ideas interviews that are almost

[01:18] too good to be true in the case of my

[01:20] Game Dev Channel which I made before the

[01:21] one that you're watching right now I

[01:23] made a game in one line of code I made a

[01:25] game engine in seven days and I made a

[01:27] video game with no computer are all

[01:28] Concepts that seem pretty much

[01:30] impossible or at the very least really

[01:32] impressive because for example if you're

[01:33] looking at the first title thinks wow

[01:35] how does he make a game with only one

[01:37] line of code the idea is to get the

[01:39] viewer questioning how exactly you

[01:40] accomplish what you're promising the

[01:42] title on the channel of mine that you're

[01:43] watching right now how I monetize my

[01:45] channel in 30 days falls under this

[01:47] bubble as well because it's likely that

[01:49] my viewer is interested in growing on

[01:51] YouTube are curious how I monetize my

[01:53] channel in such a short time now I want

[01:55] you to grab some paper ink in a

[01:56] typewriter because we're going to use

[01:58] this method to generate some video

[01:59] Concepts right now now without worrying

[02:01] about your realistic capability to make

[02:03] them think of 20 to 30 absolutely

[02:05] impossible impressive or absurd claims a

[02:07] video in your Niche could make some

[02:09] examples from my channel might be how to

[02:11] easily get 1 million subscribers on

[02:13] YouTube how to make a hundred thousand

[02:14] dollars a month with YouTube Automation

[02:16] and how to get 90 retention on your

[02:19] YouTube videos get creative within the

[02:20] limits of your Niche don't even worry

[02:22] about whether these videos could

[02:23] actually get created or not then once

[02:24] you've got a list of Concepts now you're

[02:26] going to write down exactly how you'd

[02:28] accomplish each one and I guarantee you

[02:29] you can get creative to accomplish

[02:31] almost everything on your list obviously

[02:33] start by knocking out the video Concepts

[02:35] that you can just literally do like for

[02:37] example a concept like how I became a

[02:39] professional video editor I could

[02:41] definitely do as I've personally

[02:42] accomplished that myself basically just

[02:45] cross out stuff you can do without lying

[02:46] then move on to Concepts that you could

[02:48] do with a bit of help for example if you

[02:50] run a channel like mine and have a

[02:51] concept like how to easily get 1 million

[02:53] views on YouTube but haven't actually

[02:55] done it yourself yet maybe in the video

[02:57] you'll just interview a successful

[02:58] YouTuber who actually has gotten a

[03:00] million views and she'll actually be

[03:02] able to make an honest video that

[03:03] entertains educates or does whatever you

[03:05] want to your viewers if you run a

[03:07] lifestyle and Vlogs Channel about

[03:08] traveling then maybe you'll change a

[03:10] concept like I travel to all seven

[03:12] continents in one week which is honestly

[03:14] probably impossible to we travel to all

[03:17] seven continents in one week and just

[03:18] have you and your friends on separate

[03:19] paths traveling to different continents

[03:21] at the same time so that once again the

[03:23] video is actually honest and can

[03:24] entertain educate you know whatever the

[03:26] sky's the limit just the goal with a

[03:28] strategy like this is to always make

[03:30] sure you have an honest video but that

[03:31] doesn't mean you can't straddle the line

[03:33] if you know what I mean for example with

[03:35] my video I made a game in one line of

[03:37] code on my gamedev channel I end up

[03:39] technically making a game in one line of

[03:41] code however it's literally just a

[03:43] hundred lines of code stuffed into a

[03:44] single Row in my text editor I did the

[03:46] same with I made a video game with no

[03:48] computer as in the video I technically

[03:49] didn't use my computer but instead just

[03:52] called my friends on the phone and

[03:53] walked them through how to make a game

[03:54] step by step using their computers the

[03:56] key here is that I at least partially

[03:58] delivered on the promises that I made

[03:59] with my my titles and made up for the

[04:01] part that I didn't deliver on with an

[04:03] absolute Banger video If you decide to

[04:05] use this strategy and your titles rely

[04:07] on small technicalities like these two

[04:09] examples do then you also need to follow

[04:11] it up with a really good video that

[04:12] makes viewers not really care that they

[04:14] got a tiny bit clickbait if you follow a

[04:16] banger title and video concept with a

[04:18] video then viewers end up leaving

[04:20] negative feedback that hurt your channel

[04:22] because once again like I said they feel

[04:24] clickbaited which you really want to

[04:25] avoid as much as possible method number

[04:28] two is research and I know this is an

[04:30] obvious one but stick with me because

[04:31] you probably aren't going about it the

[04:33] right way researching viral video topics

[04:35] can be done two different ways the first

[04:36] is the researching trending topics

[04:38] appropriately called Trend Jackie to

[04:40] generate ideas that blow up in the short

[04:42] term an example of this is in 2020 when

[04:44] creators that make content about the

[04:46] video game Among Us were able to easily

[04:48] bring in millions of views which was

[04:50] obviously great at the time however this

[04:51] success was limited to the time frame in

[04:53] which Among Us was popular and the same

[04:55] video is being posted in 2023 get a lot

[04:58] less views than they did just three

[04:59] years earlier because obviously the game

[05:01] isn't as popular despite these sometimes

[05:03] short-term success of trend jacked

[05:05] videos if you can consistently create

[05:07] content on trending topics in your Niche

[05:09] it's not really going to matter because

[05:11] your channel will still be bringing in

[05:12] consistent views but how does one

[05:14] actually find Trends to create videos on

[05:16] the most simple and straightforward way

[05:17] is to go to the trending tab or any of

[05:19] these other subcategories in the explore

[05:21] sidebar on the YouTube homepage the

[05:23] trending tab is great in the sense that

[05:25] it's got videos from every single Niche

[05:27] about topics that are well trending and

[05:29] the other subcategories in that same

[05:31] sidebar do the same thing with just more

[05:33] specific niches like sports fashion and

[05:35] more all of which you can take ideas

[05:37] from for example there are a few videos

[05:39] about the Teemu app that are currently

[05:41] trending in the trending tab signaling

[05:43] to us as creators that content about

[05:45] Teemu will probably do well as long as

[05:47] of course it aligns with our Channel's

[05:49] Niche however maybe your Niche is a

[05:51] little more specific than these popular

[05:52] ones and you also can't find topics that

[05:54] align with your niche in the trending

[05:56] tab which leads us to Google Trends

[05:58] Google Trends is a website that allows

[05:59] to find the amount of search traffic

[06:01] associated with a given keyword on

[06:03] Google regardless of its current

[06:05] popularity this is helpful because High

[06:07] search traffic for a keyword on Google

[06:08] is usually representative of its chance

[06:10] for virality on YouTube as there's

[06:12] likely a big audience for it for example

[06:14] at the time of recording Olivia Rodrigo

[06:16] is currently trending on Google search

[06:18] due to buzz around her new album

[06:19] releasing suit meaning if it aligns with

[06:22] your Niche a video on Olivia Rodrigo

[06:24] will probably do well there's even a tab

[06:25] called trending now that's really

[06:27] similar to the trending tab on YouTube

[06:29] but once again you still might not be

[06:31] able to find potential video topics that

[06:33] align with your Channel's Niche using

[06:34] this method luckily YouTube has you

[06:36] covered if you hop into YouTube Studio

[06:37] there's a tab in your analytics called

[06:39] research this tab literally shows you

[06:41] the exact Search terms and keywords that

[06:43] are trending on YouTube at the moment

[06:45] and even takes it a step further to show

[06:47] you the keywords that your personal

[06:48] audience is interested in I've

[06:50] personally used this strategy a ton and

[06:52] you can even see this in my first video

[06:54] where a YouTube Studio passive income

[06:56] and YouTube automation are really high

[06:58] traffic Search terms with my audience

[06:59] and on YouTube in general which as you

[07:01] can see correlates to this really really

[07:03] high view count on my first video

[07:04] obviously when you're first starting out

[07:06] you won't really have an audience so

[07:08] YouTube Studio won't be able to tell you

[07:09] what Search terms your audience is

[07:11] interested in however as this tool also

[07:13] allows you to search for General Trends

[07:14] on YouTube it's still so useful for any

[07:17] Creator method number three is using AI

[07:19] but I don't just mean asking chat GPT

[07:21] for ideas because chat gbt Believe It or

[07:24] Not doesn't know everything and when it

[07:25] comes to YouTube I found it's really not

[07:27] good at coming up with Banger video

[07:29] ideas this is because chat GPT doesn't

[07:31] have access to the internet or YouTube's

[07:33] data but there's a tool that actually

[07:34] I've been using throughout my entire

[07:36] YouTube Journey that does have access to

[07:38] all of YouTube's data I'm talking about

[07:39] that IQ who also sponsored this video

[07:41] then iq's boost plan which you can get

[07:43] for a dollar using my link in the

[07:45] description comes with a gpt4 powered AI

[07:47] chat bot trained on YouTube's data as

[07:49] well as your own channels data that I

[07:51] found to be super useful when coming up

[07:53] with viral video Concepts in fact these

[07:55] high performing videos on my channel

[07:57] were literally suggested to me by the AI

[07:59] before I

[08:00] to make that IQ boost also gives you 50

[08:02] personalized video ideas every single

[08:04] day that once again I've also used on my

[08:07] channel and like I said if you use my

[08:08] special link in the description you can

[08:09] even get your first month of vid IQ

[08:11] boost for only a dollar so go check it

[08:13] out method number four is using other

[08:14] people for an educational Channel like

[08:16] mine my comment section is literally an

[08:18] infinite supply of video ideas ever

[08:20] since my first video I've gotten

[08:21] comments asking me to make content about

[08:23] how I edit my YouTube videos and when I

[08:25] finally caved and made a video about

[08:27] editing it popped like crazy this

[08:29] doesn't just apply to educational

[08:30] channels either but when looking to come

[08:32] up with original Concepts family and

[08:34] friends are great sources to ask people

[08:36] you know that watch content similar to

[08:37] yours or even just watch a lot of

[08:39] YouTube in general are gonna be your

[08:40] best subjects especially if these people

[08:42] have tried or are currently doing

[08:43] YouTube and know a bit about how the

[08:45] platform Works obviously most of your

[08:47] family and friends even if they have

[08:49] tried YouTube before aren't going to be

[08:51] the most informed so take their opinions

[08:53] with a grain of salt but it doesn't hurt

[08:55] to really just you know keep them there

[08:56] for consideration in addition to

[08:58] non-youtube experts I recently tried

[08:59] hiring idea man Alpha Fiverr for my

[09:02] video on automating a fresh YouTube

[09:03] channel using Fiverr and it ended up

[09:05] actually being a really good purchase I

[09:06] paid her 10 and she managed to do

[09:08] research for me and come up with 10

[09:10] different video Concepts in a niche that

[09:12] she also found that were bound to get

[09:14] views with really low competition could

[09:16] I have done this myself probably but ten

[09:18] dollars really isn't that much and she

[09:20] probably came up with some stuff that I

[09:21] would have overlooked had I been trying

[09:23] to find some viral Concepts in the men's

[09:24] gadgets Niche which the channel is based

[09:27] around so I felt like it was a good

[09:28] investment in general with any and all

[09:30] Concepts that you come up with put

[09:31] yourself in the shoes of your target

[09:33] audience and really ask yourself if

[09:35] they'll enjoy each video then once

[09:36] you've figured that out go through each

[09:38] of your remaining Concepts and think of

[09:40] an idea for a thumbnail and title that

[09:42] associated with the concept because some

[09:44] video ideas you have may be entertaining

[09:46] or educational or whatever but won't

[09:48] perform well if you can't package them

[09:50] in a way that's appealing to your

[09:51] audience in regards to a video's title a

[09:53] good video title does a few things first

[09:55] off it makes sense and describes the

[09:57] video well in the context of your

[09:58] video's thumbnail but that's pretty

[10:00] obvious packaging your video meaning

[10:01] your video's title and thumbnail combo

[10:03] is really all about keeping it simple

[10:05] and digestible for your viewers keep

[10:07] your titles under 40 characters if

[10:08] possible and if you really can't keep it

[10:10] under 40 characters just make sure that

[10:12] it at least completely shows up on the

[10:14] YouTube homepage and doesn't overflow

[10:16] like this you want your titles to be as

[10:18] readable as possible and to test this

[10:19] you can always just inspect element the

[10:21] YouTube homepage in your browser of

[10:22] choice or use a thumbnail preview tool

[10:25] like would you dot click which I

[10:26] personally once again Simplicity is key

[10:29] so cut out the fluff and leave

[10:31] unnecessary things like for example your

[10:33] channel name or something like must

[10:34] watch not clickbait out of your video

[10:37] titles remember that even after you post

[10:39] your video you can still change its

[10:40] title so don't stress if you're stuck

[10:42] between a few for a certain video now

[10:44] that you've got a bunch of titles though

[10:45] like I mentioned earlier you're gonna

[10:46] need some really good thumbnails to go

[10:48] along with them because a good title is

[10:50] nothing without a thumbnail to provide

[10:52] context and vice versa so if you want to

[10:54] learn how to do that go watch my video

[10:56] on making clickable YouTube thumbnails

[10:57] next and if you're wanting to blow up

[10:59] your channel really fast like I did with

[11:00] mine then hit me up on Discord Twitter

[11:02] Instagram whatever and you can book a

[11:04] paid Consulting call with me peace
